We were invited to brunch and were very disappointed. The food was cold. The warming trays weren't hot enough to keep the pizza, scrambled eggs, vegetables, etc., warm. The rolls were still ice-cold in the middle. The food tasted good, though.

This was our second time there. Today we went for brunch. It was awful. The rolls were soggy. The toppings were so plentiful I have more at home. All the hot dishes were cold. I definitely won't recommend it to anyone.

The food, service, and cleanliness were as one would expect from a chain restaurant. Unfortunately, dogs are allowed inside, which I find unacceptable in terms of hygiene and animal welfare.

The food was okay. Unfortunately, the heating was supposedly broken, and the place was freezing cold. They could have mentioned that when we made the reservation. It's outrageous that the place is even allowed to open like that. We even considered leaving because it was almost unbearable. At least they brought us some thin blankets. One of our meals was forgotten, or as we later found out, taken to another table. It's worth noting that the place was completely empty. What must it be like when it's full? And the VAT reduction isn't being passed on to the customers either.

We were there on New Year's Day. The food was great and the service was excellent and attentive. The one-star deduction is due to the temperature in the restaurant. We found it very cold.

The service was very friendly, but unfortunately there were no soft drinks available as the drinks weren't carbonated. There was a draft coming through the windows, making the marble table very cold, which meant the pizza was cold immediately. Furthermore, the pizza arrived cold at the same time as the appetizer, which meant the pizza was completely cold by the time it arrived. However, the pizza, salad, and breadsticks were all very tasty.

The pizza is okay, but the quality isn't great and there's very little cheese. The pasta dishes don't include pizza rolls. The price is exorbitant for a small portion of pasta. Just under 100g. There's hardly any ham on the pizza. The pizza crust is very dry and poor quality. It's edible, but there are many better options. Stay active!

Phew, what can I say? The food was good as always, but the indoor temperature was unacceptable. The outside temperature at the time of our visit was 5 degrees Celsius, and it felt only marginally warmer inside. A heads-up about the broken heating would have been appropriate.

I haven't had a meal there yet that wasn't delicious. Despite the restaurant being packed, the service was nothing to complain about. I've been there too often these days.

There were three of us eating there. First of all, we were seated in the noisiest corner, even though we had a reservation. They initially looked around for an available table. Then our order was taken (in a very informal, first-name basis), and the drinks arrived, but the table wasn't prepared for the food. Only one person was asked if they wanted their pizza halved (meaning one side had different toppings than the other). A shame. When the food finally arrived—we had ordered a Tartufo Mezzalune E Funghi, a Pizza Degli Artisti, and a Pizza Canarino, along with the three dips—the table was set in a rush. Spoons for the dips were missing, the Pizza Canarino was rather sparsely topped, the anchovies were hard to find, and the mushrooms were only lukewarm. The portion of Tartufo was swimming in grease and very small, so we had to order more. When we asked for more, we expressed our dissatisfaction, but were immediately reassured that the portion was always like that and sufficient. Why not just say you're greedy? I (the one who ordered the Canarino) also ordered a small antipasti platter, which was then placed with my companion and the Patata, not with me. Overall, the food was okay, but there's definitely room for improvement in customer service and friendliness. I'm sure this criticism will elicit one of L'Osteria's many generic responses. We spent around €80-90 there, and a simple apology isn't enough. We'll think twice before returning to this restaurant. In times when dining out has become expensive, one should expect a certain level of quality.

I visited L’Osteria in Castrop-Rauxel today and was truly impressed. The service was outstanding – one young man in particular stood out. He was incredibly friendly and attentive, and even though the restaurant was packed, he always had a smile on his face. You could immediately tell he enjoyed his job. The food was, as always, delicious and fresh, and the portions are simply unbeatable. The atmosphere was also pleasant and inviting. All in all, a really lovely visit. Thanks to the great service…especially from the young employee…I'll definitely be back!

The ambiance at L’Osteria is lovely, as always. Unfortunately, there were far too few waitstaff to serve the customers promptly. The pumpkin soup, at a good ten euros, was extremely meager – perhaps one and a half waiters in a large bowl, without any bread or anything similar as a side dish. I found that to be a hefty price. The other guests, who had risotto and pizza, were satisfied with the portions. Since I'm reviewing my own experience, I'm only giving three stars for the food and three for the service as well, because we had to wait a long time for our bill, even though we had informed them beforehand that we had another appointment and needed to leave soon. This put us in a rather rushed position.

Six of us went for brunch at 10 a.m. on a Sunday. We can't really say much about the buffet, as it was empty. There were no plates, rolls, cold cuts, or anything else. After half an hour, the buffet was refilled. Dessert was gone within five minutes. We were very disappointed and will definitely not be returning. The cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired. We doubt it was cleaned the night before. The floor was completely filthy, and the tables hadn't been wiped down either. The staff was friendly, but probably completely overwhelmed.

Normally, you walk into the shop, are greeted warmly, shown to your table, and after 2-3 minutes, asked what you'd like to drink. However, on my last visit (when my companion and I were really hungry), this wasn't the case. The shop was moderately busy, and in any case, there was so little to do that the waitress stood at the counter folding boxes. After 10 minutes without anyone asking what we wanted, I went up to the lady. Two waitresses were standing there, and one replied, "The lady will be right there, right? She'll be right there." The "lady" who was in charge of us stood next to her, and instead of coming with me, another 5 minutes passed. So, effectively, we were able to place our order after 15 minutes. Understandable when it's busy, but the shop really wasn't full, and, as I said, the ladies stood there chatting and folding pizza boxes. Anyway, the food was, as always, impressive—hence the 2 stars. Recently, I received an incorrect bill. Apparently, it was mistakenly charged for the table in front of us. According to the server, this seems to happen quite often. I was told I would get a chargeback, which would happen after a day. After all the back and forth, with no apology for the dilemma, this was unfortunately my last visit to this losteria. What a shame!

This restaurant is very late in delivery, especially with La Frendo. This is bad.

Unfortunately, the behavior of some employees at this branch was completely inappropriate. I hope management improves their customer service, as the experience was truly disappointing. However, I would like to point out that another branch in Bochum is the exact opposite. The employees there are very friendly and accommodating, and my experience was truly positive.

Actually quite tasty but if you offer takeaway and the guest/customer only orders 2 pizzas you should pay attention to what special requests the guest/customer has, especially if there is something you DON'T want on the pizza then that shouldn't be that difficult.

The pizza is very dry, and the crusts are as hard as steel! The pizza is also very lightly loaded overall. Despite all this, the service is very friendly and quick. The ambiance is also very convincing. Ultimately, it only gets two stars because the food should be the priority in a restaurant, and as mentioned before, this one doesn't deliver at all.

Well, to be honest: for that much money, I would have at least expected the pasta to whisper "ciao" to me and the pizza to dance with joy in the oven. Instead, the whole thing was more of a culinary stroll through mediocrity, and at a high-end price level, no less. Antipasti starter platter: looked like bella Italia, but tasted more like bella boredom. Considering all the wood on the board, there wasn't much fire on the tongue. Penne all'arrabbiata: You really can't go wrong with that, but they didn't have anything particularly exciting either. Pizza: Well, it's a matter of taste. Some like it, some don't; I guess I'm one of those people. Service: friendly, but somehow it feels like you'd rather be somewhere else. The shop itself is really nice; they've put a lot of effort into it. It's just a shame that the food and service can't quite keep up. Conclusion: A pretty setting, but the taste fell somewhere between Naples and the nearest pizza place around the corner. Spent a lot of money, had a mediocre meal, and left with a slight shake of the head. Unfortunately, not recommended.

Very disappointing! Yesterday, the two of us went to L'Osteria in Castrop and both ordered drinks. Nevertheless, the waitress treated us rudely, simply because we didn't eat and I didn't tip. Tipping isn't mandatory! You shouldn't judge guests based on their sales, but treat everyone with kindness. As a guest, you should feel welcome – the opposite was the case here. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable; we certainly won't be coming back."

Today was the first and last time I went to brunch. I've never experienced anything so bad. I've had more choice at home at a family brunch. Also, there's fresh tarte flambée on the buffet, which was immediately put out cold. The scrambled eggs were completely dried out. When I pointed this out to the extremely incompetent staff, they replied that they couldn't throw it away. The buffet was supposed to end at 1 p.m. At 12:15 p.m., I wanted to get a dessert table, where you can't really go wrong. Unfortunately, I arrived too late. The remaining desserts were eaten by the staff behind the counter, and as a customer, I walked away empty-handed. Soft drinks weren't available at all because the tap was broken. Such information beforehand would have been nice, so you could leave before the food was on the table. The only positive thing I had here was the free coffee at brunch. Otherwise, the quality was beyond poor. The service, if you can call it that, was lazy, unfriendly, and greedy. The fact that the staff also eat is OK, but not directly from the buffet behind the counter when customers still have wishes.

My boyfriend and I had pasta for dinner. We both ordered spaghetti aglio e olio and spaghetti arugula e pomodorini con kirschtomaten. The tomatoes had a very bad taste, were spoiled, and ruined the flavor of the rest of the dish. The service was poor; although the staff was friendly, they were inattentive, and the restaurant wasn't busy. Because of the bad taste of the tomatoes, they gave us free water. 👎 They should check the products they use and make sure they're fresh. We asked for coffee, and it was brought cold. 👎👎 I wouldn't eat pasta at this place again. 😔

I can't say anything about the food. We just didn't get around to it. Nothing going on, Sunday, nice weather. We sat down on the terrace. We waited five minutes. The waitress walked past us without so much as a "hello" and left. Ten minutes later, there was still no one there to take care of us. Hospitality and service were abysmal. The place itself was very nice, and so was the children's playground.

Unmotivated, irritated service, cold pizza, and a Caesar salad with cold meat and soggy croutons, only half the size of its original size! The beer was stale, without a head, and the glasses were old and stale. The table was sticky. Terrible!!!

This time, the spinach pizza was quite sparsely topped and therefore rather bland. The pizza arrived before the drinks. Maybe one person at the counter isn't enough...? One of the waitresses actually complained about people coming in and then wanting to order something "right away"... When packing up the leftovers, the used napkin was simply thrown onto the plate/ON THE PIZZA, and the chewed-up orange peel was placed in the box/on top of the pizza. It's been better!

The pizzas tasted solid, but I think they could have been made more visually appealing. The plates are too small for the large pizzas, making it difficult to eat, and this leads to me losing my appetite more quickly. Overall, though, it's okay to eat there once in a while.

One dish came five minutes after all the others! The risotto could have been planned differently in the kitchen so everyone could eat together! I reordered pizza rolls - but they only came after everyone had finished! The service was nice! What bothered me more was the ambience! In the women's restroom, the light above the sink didn't work! There was no plate on the flush button on the last toilet! The whole place seemed a bit run down to me! Sorry, but I won't be back!

We visited this place based on a recommendation. The atmosphere was nice and the menu looked appealing, but nobody paid attention to us. When we mentioned our needs to a waiter, we were told that only one person was responsible for that area. Unfortunately, we left without eating. I don’t plan on coming back. The service was very poor, and the staff were far from being friendly or welcoming.

The food is quite okay, but everything else leaves a lot to be desired. There were maybe a maximum of four tables available during my stay, and yet the food still took forever to arrive. On top of that, I was brought the wrong food. The waitress who served us was also very rude and barely paid any attention to us. When we asked for the bill after paying, she simply ignored us, even though we asked her about it four times. So how does the service and the kitchen work when it gets busy?

Three of us spontaneously stopped by for dinner on a Thursday afternoon. There was no wait time, no reservation, and we were able to choose a table according to our preferences. That was fantastic :) We received super friendly and quick service. The waitress was really pleasant and not at all pushy. It was truly enjoyable and delicious :)
