We were at L’Osteria on Sunday. It was really busy and they were a bit understaffed, but the food was delicious! Our waitress Maria was super friendly and really funny. It took a while, but we still had a lot of fun. Definitely coming back!

We were served very nicely and courteously. Pizza and pasta arrived quickly and were very tasty!

The service is non-existent for me. 20 minutes waiting for the order, 10 minutes waiting for the drinks that were on the counter and warmed nicely by the sun. 45 minutes waiting for the food. Only knives were served with napkins...forks were missing! Drinks were brought briskly, sloshing onto the table. It wasn't until the starter was on the table that the forks were thought of. They were then handed out in stacks of four. Food is so-so... I don't want to write anymore. A gastro tragedy in my eyes!

My visit to L’Osteria Castrop-Rauxel today was disappointing. The service was unprofessional as the waiters seemed rude and uninterested. Even though the food was not delayed, the behavior of the staff left a lot to be desired. I didn't feel valued as a guest and unfortunately I can't recommend this restaurant.

We went to the restaurant for the first time today. We thoroughly enjoyed Svetlana's service. Svetlana was friendly, polite, funny and accommodating. Everything a satisfied guest needs. The food was very tasty. Greetings to the baker. The atmosphere is very inviting and makes you feel comfortable. All in all 5 stars. We will come again.

I didn't like it at all...Pizza only warm...poorly topped and the dough was folded so thin...that it fell over the edge of the plate when I was cutting it on the dirty table...really bad...and then there was the price...which wasn't even remotely justified...

Went to L’Osteria twice and then never again. The service was very poor, unfriendly staff, long waiting times and no courtesy. I got the impression that the waitress was new as she never said 'please' or 'thank you'. She only came to us to order and collect. Even when I tipped her, which I only did out of decency, she didn't even say 'thank you'. I was on my lunch break, which is only 1.5 hours, and because of the long wait I had to eat under time pressure.

We really liked L'Osteria in Castrop-Rauxel. It is a relatively large restaurant in a somewhat remote location. There are enough parking options there. The restaurant seemed very new to me. Everything was neat and clean there. It made a good impression. We also really liked the food and it was worth it for the price. You get really good stuff. The ambience is great. I can only recommend it!👍

The location is well located on the A42, large parking lot, parking is free. The atmosphere of the restaurant is a bit cool and is preferred by young people. The food and service are good, everyone is very friendly, we liked it.

Unfortunately the service is not that great because they are busy behind the counter with their cell phones or the other lady is holding the counter while the tables are full of dirty dishes. Unfortunately our table is also full! You are not really asked if you would like to drink something else! The tables are not really clean and the dishes at the buffet are unfortunately not clean either! So for us the first and last time!

After ordering food twice and waiting over two hours for our food both times, we decided to try it in-house again today. We sat on the open terrace because our baby was sleeping in the stroller and it's simply quieter outside than inside. After 10 minutes, a waiter came and told us that they would be closing the terrace at 6 p.m., which is in 15 minutes. Only the guests already seated outside could continue sitting and eating outside. The reason given was that it was about to get cold, and the waiter "didn't want his waiters walking around outside in T-shirts." At the time, it was a pleasant 14 degrees and still slightly sunny. When I explained that our baby was sleeping in the stroller and we'd like to stay outside because it was simply quieter, the waiter wished us a nice evening and basically kicked us out. That was our first and last visit to you in Castrop. Totally unfriendly to customers and children!!!
