The food was very good. I ordered a pizza and the truth is that it was delicious. The problem was that the pizza was huge and fell off the plate, but the dough was thin. What I liked least was that there was no pizza on the terrace. no light and although it seems romantic you can't even see what you eat.

First of all we had to wait an eternity for the food, the kitchen was visibly overwhelmed with the number of orders and then we lay flat for 2 days with food poisoning from the Gorgonzola pasta. I'm actually used to something different from L'Osteria and will definitely not go to this branch again.

We wanted to have a nice evening at L'Osteria. It started with an hour waiting time to take the order! Drinks came wrong. After an even longer time, our cold pizza arrived with an unwanted spiciness. We were ignored for the rest of the evening until we complained. Another waiter was able to accommodate us minimally with a free dessert of our choice. All in all, no money in the world and no longer worth a visit.

Restaurant review: Unfortunately, our visit to your restaurant was anything but satisfactory. Although the pizza was acceptable, the pasta left a lot to be desired. It was completely unseasoned and tasteless. When we asked for salt, pepper and parmesan, the waiter reacted extremely unfriendly. He wordlessly handed us salt and pepper and completely ignored the request for parmesan. Another big problem was outdoor lighting. We sat under the umbrellas in the dark and could barely see what was on our plates. In addition, it was extremely difficult to reach the service. We had to stand up each time to get attention as the waiter apparently couldn't see us under the dark umbrellas. Overall, the service was very unfriendly and ignorant, the food was bland and the outside area was poorly lit. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant.

Depending on which waiter you get, you can eat in 30 minutes or spend a while waiting for the food. The blonde waitress with a long ponytail is very unfriendly. Not recommended, the only good thing is the pizza.

I have only positive impressions from this establishment. First of all I want to mention the excellent food. The assortment of pizza also pleasantly surprised me with its diversity, and I especially want to mention the Capricciosa pizza The service staff deserves special mention. The waiters were polite, attentive and responsive. The atmosphere in the restaurant also contributes to a pleasant pastime. The interior is cozy and stylish, and the atmosphere is conducive to relaxing and enjoying food. A wonderful, atmospheric place with delicious pizza and beer.

We had to wait 1.5 hours before we could enjoy our pizza. This alone took 35 minutes of waiting until the waiter came to the table. There wasn't much going on inside or on the terrace, which is why we couldn't accept the long wait at all. Something urgently needs to be done about the service here otherwise the guests will starve. The terrace is nice and invites you to linger, which is good while you're waiting. Pizza and price were okay, just like L’osteria. If you're not too hungry and have plenty of time, you'll get your money's worth here.

Rude waiters were rude. Even though the hall wasn't crowded with orders, we waited 45 minutes for pizza and 1 hour for pasta is ridiculous. Why did the waiters say that if you don't like something you can leave? don't recommend in general. I ask the administration to take care of this.

I reserved a table for my birthday and found it pretty bland. We waited 40 minutes for drinks and 1.5 hours for food, while others who came after us had their food first. Unfortunately, some of the orders were incorrect and had to be exchanged. The oil dispenser was leaking. The pizza was carelessly folded and “stuffed” into a box to take away. It's a shame, I imagined more for a birthday reservation.

Unfortunately there is not enough staff, we waited 35 minutes for our drink and when we asked, the waitress said that the pizza would take an hour because there was a lot going on at the moment. There was no one in the restaurant, only half of the outside area. We skipped eating.

My first visit to L'Osteria Baden-Baden, shortly after it reopened, was a disappointment but I thought maybe the staff still needed to get used to it. Unfortunately, things weren't any better on my second visit a while later. The waiter is - excuse my choice of words - really incompetent. There wasn't much going on on both days and it still took a long time for our drinks to arrive. He is also inattentive and does not clear empty dishes. On the first visit I had a pizza. This was so large that it hung over all sides of the plate. How are you supposed to cut that? The taste is average at best, the base is more reminiscent of tarte flambée. On my second visit I had bruscetta, which I had to return because the tomatoes on it were already "on top". One wonders how this can happen. Finally, bruscetta is a common appetizer that is certainly ordered several times a day. The pasta with spinach afterwards was okay, but I don't have to go to the restaurant for that. The espresso we ordered was only brought after we asked again. When collecting the money, the waiter doesn't forget to point out the tip, which you can give extra despite paying by card. This restaurant is no longer an alternative for me. If you want to enjoy good Italian food, go two doors down to Mamma Lina. We will do this again in the future.

Nice place and space for outside to eat in peace

Great place, beautiful designed, comfy chairs, well executed menu, great modern Italian background music. So what is wrong? Well for starters we ordered a side salad, be mushy, lumpy with too much dressing. We ordered two vegetarian spaghetti dishes one with an home made tomato sauce and the other all'olio style. Dishes arrived, both bland in taste, except lot's of cherry tomatoes and a little tomato paste sauce whereas the other dish with too much of garlic. A pity.

I celebrated my birthday there and regretted it, I had to put the tables together outside on the terrace myself and a young man who works there sat quietly next to him with his cell phone. After the meal we were simply ignored, the dishes from the starter and main course were not cleaned up (despite instructions from us) until we left, even though everyone ran back into the building empty-handed.

The two of us were there last Saturday evening before our visit to the Festspielhaus. Our order was taken relatively quickly, but after that we hardly saw the waiters again in the evening. Our drinks didn't come until after the starter, which was a bit annoying at over 30 degrees, but the starter itself was even worse. The Caesar salad consisted of iceberg lettuce, dressing and a few parmesan shavings. No trace of romaine lettuce or the croutons listed on the menu. It was hard to complain because it took almost an hour for an employee to come by to clear the plates. In retrospect, it was the right decision to eat the entire disappointing starter anyway, as it took another hour for the main course to arrive. Due to time pressure, we paid the entire bill before the main course, despite previously planning 2.5 hours for the restaurant visit. The main course finally came just before we had to leave. The taste of the noodles was okay, but I found the portions to be very small. Overall, both the kitchen and the understaffed service team were completely overwhelmed. It was full, but there were still tables available. I can't understand why the restaurant provides so many seats when the kitchen can't handle it all anyway. The location right next to the festival hall leads me to believe that the situation on Saturday was not an isolated incident. If so many guests come to visit with time pressure, a restaurant should at least point out when ordering that there can be long waiting times for pasta dishes. With that in mind, we would probably have ordered pizza sooner.

We had to wait over an hour before we got our starter, and then our bruschetta was also inedible. First, it came out of the oven, and then it was completely softened. This is not how you make bruschetta! We then had to wait another almost 45 minutes for our pizza. Here too, dough was way too thin, everything fell apart. We didn't really have any service. Food and drinks were brought and nothing more. Asked if everything was okay or anything else never happened. We would have understood that everything would take time if there had been a lot going on, but with four people behind the counter and nothing happening, with a manageable number of guests there is really no excuse. Abroad you never have high expectations of pizza but after a few days our children wanted a bit of Italy on their plate. What can I say, large pizzas, well seasoned and well cooked. Nothing to envy of many pizzas found in Italy. Advised. A pleasant and reasonably priced surprise.

Incredibly disgraceful treatment. Ordered by phone today. We were told by a really nice employee that we could pick up the food in 20 minutes. When we got to 30! Minutes later it wasn't even prepared! The employees were visibly uncomfortable, but the chef, in the truest sense of the word, didn't give a damn! Apart from the fact that he just continued to work leisurely and ignored all requests from his colleagues to please not keep me waiting any longer, he was just cursing and extremely unfriendly. If I was given a look at all, it was simply derogatory. After he said he was making a relaxed phone call in a full shop where I wasn't the only one waiting for the food, his colleagues had to start preparing our pizzas. He then carried on carelessly, put it in the oven and forgot some of the toppings. Given the situation, you have to understand that I was sitting on a bar stool directly in front of him and not only understood every word but was also able to clearly witness his lack of interest in preparing this meal from half a meter away! I have rarely seen a person express their displeasure so openly to a paying customer. Meanwhile we waited (me in the store, my husband in the car) instead of 20 minutes, now 45 minutes! Since this was unpleasant for the remaining colleagues, they kept asking the chef to check on the pizza. The chef didn't like this because, in his opinion, they couldn't be taken out of the oven so quickly. To signal that he was right, he demonstratively pulled it out of the oven, folded the still soft pizza onto the board with his arms waving and sent it straight into the trash can!! Not only was our food, which was announced for 20 minutes, only prepared after 40 minutes, but now it was simply thrown away in front of my eyes! Horrified, I announced that our order had been taken and left the store indignantly. The other employees coughed up an embarrassed “sorry” after me, but that was it. Apart from the fact that we had no food after an hour of waiting, I have rarely felt so humiliated. It was noticeable that the other employees were uncomfortable, but in the end the unfriendly chef in the world was still allowed to do as he pleased. Bad experience that we will pass on. The fact that we were here for the last time is certainly self-explanatory at this point.

So I have to say we are super disappointed and I have never experienced anything like that. As soon as we arrived we were left standing in the hallway unnoticed. When a waitress spoke to us at some point, we told her that we had reserved a table. She told us that there was an event and everything was full. By the way, we were also at this event (2 hours of travel) and that was also the reason why we had reserved. I even confirmed the reservation the evening before. Yes, it was full, but she'll go take a look and then come to us. We then found a table for two in the last back corner. But that was it. Nobody came to us, the waitress saw us very well but she didn't care at all... Glasses were loudly thrown into a kind of trash can by a male colleague, which always made you feel frightened. There was neither a smile nor a smile a request... we were completely ignored. At some point I stood up so that people would notice us, but even that was in vain. The waitress retied her hair in the kitchen, looked at me briefly and then went back to the front of the others. Whenever she came back from serving people there would be an eye roll or a mouth that would drop to the floor. After a few minutes my mother asked a woman in the kitchen whether we would be served. She pointed to the service staff and said sorry... a lovely woman who can't do anything for her colleagues. We then walked out again... The service is the worst I have ever experienced. Very rude...

Very tasty pizza and nice atmosphere

Service was very poor, we were waiting about 10 min to get sited, and had to look for staff members, because nobody cared about us. Same for ordering food, we had to be looking for staff , our food and drinks never arrived and watched how locals were attended very nicely and getting their food and drinks right away even though they arrived and ordered after us. HORRIBLE SERVICE, WOULDN’T RECOMEND.

The employees were really mean and wouldn’t take our order while they took the orders from all the tables around us, I think their service was racist! We shouldn’t support restaurants like this. They never brought our food and we were there for an hour.

The food is great, you can't say anything about it. We had to wait almost as long for the drinks as for the food, even though there wasn't much going on. The side salad only came when we asked for it when we had almost finished eating. If you don't know that an Ipanema contains ginger ale, it's difficult to taste it. My sister's Aperol was clearly too thin and my father's Weizen was only filled to two fingers below the calibration mark... The espresso cup felt like it wasn't in the dishwasher. The staff could have been a little more attentive, but I can forgive that due to the sudden downpour. I have another tip: If you go out to eat with 4 people, not everyone is allowed to order pizza, otherwise there won't be enough space!!!

The L'Osteria in Baden-Baden is probably one of the chain's smaller restaurants. Due to the size of the restaurant, it is unfortunately very noisy, but the Tean tries very hard to offer good service. You always get good pizzas at L'Osteria, but the quality of pasta varies between individual restaurants. All in all, we would definitely visit the restaurant again at some point. This can be combined particularly well with an event in the Festspielhaus!

Unfortunately we left after half an hour in an empty garden because the waitress didn't take care of us. Comment You were sitting far back. But we were given a free choice.

I'm really sorry but this restaurant was very disappointing. I came to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday but the restaurant staff ruined my entire vacation. The service is terrible, the waitress was rude and unfriendly. There were always dirty dishes on the table and no one put them away. We waited more than 40 minutes for our order, but unfortunately the food was raw and the spaghetti was undercooked. Nobody apologized. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Yesterday I visited L'Osteria with my friends, one of whom was having a birthday. Despite having a reservation, we were asked inside - but considering the duration of the visit, that wasn't a bad thing. We ordered drinks for which we waited more than 30 minutes, not to mention 1.5 hours for the food. The pasta dishes no longer came to us steaming hot; they had already been sitting at the counter for at least 5 minutes. We asked for parmesan and garlic oil 3 times before we received it. This saved the dish in terms of taste. We waited another 40 minutes for the ice cream and water. Tables next to us experienced the same thing. When we pointed out the situation to the not-too-friendly waitress, she told us about many sick calls and that the human resources manager wanted to open the restaurant normally despite being understaffed. We won't be celebrating a birthday there again.

We are enthusiastic customers of the Osteria in Karlsruhe. That's why we wanted to visit the newly opened restaurant in Baden-Baden. We sat there nicely in the garden and had very nice service. But we had to wait forever for the drinks. They only came after the starters and upon request. The glasses for the water only after remembering twice. We then had to wait about an hour for the main course and asked several times. The two pizzas that came were cold, the pasta dish was perfect. There were dirty dishes piled up on the neighboring tables, and many of those around us were also dissatisfied with the waiting time. Because of my complaints about the cold pizzas, we got a 10% discount and 2 espressos on the house. The payment continued, although no one came despite being asked several times. I then went in, but even then I was professionally ignored. It was only when we threatened to leave without paying that we were charged. The finished pizzas were piled up on the kitchen counter, but no one brought them to the tables, even though there were 5 men behind the counter. No wonder they were cold. As a restaurant manager, I would have made sure that one person cleared the tables and another supported the two waitresses, that would have helped. Our waitress apologized several times, I felt sorry for her, but her boss was even more unfriendly. As long as the situation there doesn't change, you don't have to go there unless you love cold pizza.

We arrive at 6.35pm, drinks and food ordered immediately. By 7.15pm our drink or food had not arrived. No updates from staff and other customers visibly annoyed and leaving. Barely anyone around to speak too. Very very poor. Do not go here.

We were there with a group of 8 people. Unfortunately, the waitresses were unfriendly, without exception, and initially ignored us for quite a long time. We actually wanted to sit inside, but were rudely asked outside for no reason. But later other guests were sitting inside, so it was suddenly possible. The food came way too late for one person and had to eat alone. The waitress just said it had probably been waiting at the counter for a while. We know the restaurant in Karlsruhe, it's much better there. We won't be coming to Baden-Baden anymore.

Food and ambience are OK, but management/service is poor. Ordered yesterday at 6:30 p.m., after about 10 minutes the starter arrived, but it wasn't until 7:45 p.m. that the pizzas were served after repeated complaints. It was a similar story at the neighboring tables. Guests at the table who had ordered pasta were allowed to eat alone while their partners waited a long time for the pizza. All this while numerous people picked up stacks of pizzas in boxes during the entire hour-long wait. Comment from our waiter: “I can’t help it if the phone is in the kitchen. Orders are always processed with priority.” Thank you, but we don’t need that again. Good luck with this questionable gastronomy concept, luckily there are better alternatives.

No welcome we went to the terrace one evening around 7:30 p.m. many tables were not cleaned or cleared and very slow service. 30 minutes of waiting for the aperitif and then another 1 hour of waiting for a pizza! To avoid !!!

We had a reservation for 7:45 p.m. First of all we stood outside on the terrace where we were taken. We stood there haphazardly for 10 minutes because we didn't know where to sit and the waiter outside didn't pay attention to us at first. Then at some point the three of us were seated at a smaller round table, well that was ok. Table was dirty and not cleaned, you should do that BEFORE you sit people down at the table or at least right after you sit them down at the table. He then also said he would clean the table. Yes, great, after 20 minutes and there was still a dirty table, not once did anyone come and at least clean the table or take drinks! After a total of 50 minutes we had enough and left. Never again. The outward journey is completely free. Baden-Baden location -> catastrophe. Overwhelmed staff and definitely too disorganized.

The food was an absolute disaster. For starters we had bruscetta - bread was burnt and too salty. Pizza was only in the oven for a short time and had no taste, i.e. not recommended. Pasta also tasteless and very oily. The main course was completely returned - but the full price was charged. However, we were offered an espresso as an apology. Once and never again...

I came here when it wasn't busy and waited almost 2 hours for a pizza. Despite asking, nothing came. Others who came much later than me got their food quicker...

Even though we were ready to eat and spend some money we didn’t receive any service tonight as the outside area seemed understaffed. Once a waitress had some time, she only informed us that our table hadn’t been cleaned yet and would not be served at all. A clear sign she had no incentive to wait on us. I don’t blame her. She only had one other waitress for some 50 tables. We won’t be coming back. Ever.

We ordered something to pick up around 10 p.m. A pizza and pasta. The pasta tasted absolutely nothing. No spices or anything else. The pizza was burnt.. Almost 30€ for that… so I wouldn't recommend!!!!!

The humor of the waiters is interesting but you can ignore it because the rest is really what you imagine. I had made a reservation for 10 people online the day before and had it confirmed via email. Everything worked without any problems. I'll come here more often.
