My girlfriend and I have been to L'Osteria several times and have been completely satisfied every time. The lady was really warm and attentive – as always. The drinks and pizza were also excellent. Thank you for the lovely evening! We'll be back!

I went to L'Osteria in Baden-Baden with friends, and overall, we enjoyed our visit. The decor is modern and cozy—the ambiance definitely invites you to linger. The service was also friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the pizzas arrived without saucers, with the explanation that there wasn't enough room on the table—which somewhat detracted from the enjoyment. I've also had better pizzas at other L'Osteria branches—they tasted good this time, but not quite up to the usual top standard. Nevertheless, the portions are large, the value for money is good, and the decor and overall impression are very positive. With a little improvement in the service and presentation of the food, the potential for a truly top-notch experience is definitely there!

This afternoon we ate in the garden. We received friendly service; at our request, the music was turned down, but a colleague reversed this. He brusquely said the volume was fine, but then turned it down again. Since we've been to the restaurant several times and really like the atmosphere, we were very disappointed by the garden. The chairs and stone flooring were very dirty, and the mud from the heavy rain two days earlier hadn't been removed. The discrepancy between the garden and the restaurant is seriously negative. We reserved a table at short notice, and it worked out perfectly. The outdoor area was relatively quiet despite being close to a road. The service was very friendly and quick. The food was brought out at the same time, and everything was as we had hoped. The antipasti was really great, the salad and dressing absolutely delicious, and the pasta was not overcooked, but al dente. The drinks were perfectly chilled. What more could you want? We'll be back on our next visit to Baden-Baden. The staff really deserves a sixth star. To deliver such a friendly and excellent service in black T-shirts at almost 35 degrees in the shade deserves the utmost respect and thanks.

I celebrated my birthday here with a large group on June 14th. Had I known the theme of the evening was "Do it yourself," I would have packed my headlamp and serving gloves right away. On our table: darkness. The string of lights above us? Decorative, but with almost dead batteries. Lights were only arranged after our own deliberate effort – so much for the atmosphere. Orders were either forgotten, mixed up, or simply ignored. The pizzas were left outside for guests to see while we sat hungry at the table. Cutlery? Came late. Chili oil? Never. Pasta? Wrong. Food? Cold. And a friend waited an hour and a half for his pizza – that's an Olympic feat, but not a culinary one. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and understanding. We received a 30% discount, which was fair considering the evening – but unfortunately couldn't salvage the overall impression. Conclusion: It might work for a romantic dinner for two. For groups—especially on a Saturday night—I highly recommend against it, unless you bring your own lighting, cutlery, and a lot of patience.

I'm honestly very disappointed with the service at this branch. I tried to place a pickup order by phone and tried three times – unfortunately, to no avail. No one answered the phone. When I then drove to the restaurant in person, I noticed that there were at least four to five employees in the service area. Furthermore, it was barely busy – the restaurant wasn't crowded. Nevertheless, the phone was obviously turned off or intentionally ignored. For a restaurant of this size and with this level of service, I find this kind of treatment of potential customers completely unprofessional. It's unacceptable that guests are ignored like this. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that the telephone ordering service is reliably available in the future.

We had a reservation and got our seats fairly quickly, and we were able to order quickly, too. The drinks arrived promptly, but we had to wait well over an hour for the food. Almost all the other guests got their food before us, even though some of them had arrived/ordered after us. Our plan to have a leisurely bite to eat before heading to a performance at the Festspielhaus unfortunately didn't work out. At the last minute, we were about to cancel our order when the food arrived, and we had to wolf it down in 15 minutes. A real shame!

We had reserved a table for seven people at 12 noon today – with plenty of time before an event at the Festspielhaus (starting at 2:30 p.m.). Unfortunately, our visit was anything but relaxing. After a full hour of waiting, the ordered drink finally arrived. Our order – two pizzas, one pasta dish, and four salads – was only partially served. Two salads never arrived, and the other dishes didn't arrive until around 1:45 p.m. – 15 minutes before our departure. Upon inquiry, we were told that the restaurant was understaffed due to illness. They understand this – our criticism is by no means directed at the friendly, but completely overwhelmed, staff on site. Rather, the management and the reservations department should be asked why they fully booked the place in such a situation. Two of our guests ended up not eating anything, and the appetizers never arrived either. A real shame and disappointing – especially since we had visitors from far away and had planned a relaxed lunch before the event. Despite the 2.5-hour wait, this plan didn't work. On the positive side: the food we received was delicious, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was also pleasant. Overall, however, it was a very disappointing visit. We probably wouldn't return under these circumstances.

I didn't know if today was a comedy or not. When we arrived, there were hardly any customers, but the tables were almost all full and not cleared. The waiters looked at us in shock instead of showing us a table. Our food was then delivered to another table first, starters arrived along with main courses. Watching the waiters all evening was a spectacle in itself; one spent 30 minutes on the phone on the street and ignored customers, the other disappeared without a trace. They were listless and looked like they were being forced to work. When we wanted to order something else, he wanted us to pay and leave. But we also had dessert, which was really poorly presented. I really took the evening in good spirits, but the service was absolutely abysmal.

I go to L'Osteria about once a month, but I've never experienced such an unfriendly experience as the head waiter was this time. During the week, when it's quiet, you can get really delicious pizzas. On weekends, however, when it's busier, the pizzas are often very dry and have very little topping. Because the service was so unfriendly this time, I'm only giving it two stars.

After a 50-minute wait for drinks (which we ordered with our food!), we were simply told that our order "hadn't been taken correctly." No apology, no solution—just a shrug. It almost seems as if poor service is part of the concept. For us, this was our last visit. Never again at L'Osteria.

We go to this pizzeria in Baden-Baden quite often and actually really like the place. Every time I'm in town, it's our favorite spot. But unfortunately, this time our visit was disappointing – especially because of the staff. I was there with a friend, and we ordered Aperol, a shrimp pizza, and a salad. The first Aperol was barely drinkable – the taste was really off. Luckily, it was replaced. But the service was a complete failure. The waiters were inattentive; no one paid any attention to us. I sat there with an empty glass for over 20 minutes – no one came by or asked for it. We also had to wait a long time to pay and then had to call another server. The shrimp pizza was unfortunately also disappointing – just a dry crust with cheese, no sauce, and no flavor. We really enjoy coming here and would like to continue to be our guests, but please pay more attention to the service in the future – it's a big part of the experience.

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. After waiting 40 minutes, two groups ahead of us were seated at free tables by the wait staff without even asking for a reservation. When it was finally our turn, a young manager came over and told us that without a reservation, no one was available. To our legitimate question as to why other guests had been seated without reservations, he reacted rudely and condescendingly. His only response was: "If you want, you can sit inside; if not, then you can't without a reservation." When we finally tried to sit inside, he came back and explained that everything there was reserved, too, and that it was only available when we said it was. The manager's behavior was disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely uncustomer-oriented. We felt unwanted and treated unfairly—especially because we witnessed the preferential treatment of other guests. A real no-go. For the young manager's treatment of guests, we give him a very clear: minus 1 star.

We love going to L'Osteria in our hometown. Tonight, however, we were a bit disappointed by the otherwise excellent pizza. I ordered a Margherita with Parma crudo, anchovies, and salsica picante. Apart from the food itself (so we had to get pasta), everything was very disappointing. There were four children there who were the last to get their food. By the time the last ones started eating, the first ones had finished. A disaster in terms of organization. I certainly won't be going here again; all in all, it was a lot of money for a terrible restaurant experience.

We made an online reservation for 9 people (5 adults, 4 children). This was confirmed. When we arrived, we found the door locked with a note saying it was open today from 1 p.m. It was 12:15 p.m. We returned at 12:45 p.m. and realized it was already busy, but we were told there was no pizza. Only pasta. Oh well. Our order was taken after another 10-15 minutes. The table was set for pizza. The first few pasta portions came without spoons. However, the last pasta portions always came with a spoon. The food was okay—typical L'Osteria. The rest of the food was awful today. Despite a long wait, we weren't asked for more drinks. They brought us two portions of pasta that we hadn't ordered because of the wait. The children's last pasta (with tomato sauce) arrived when the meal was over. What a shame. The restaurant wasn't even close to full. It took at least 45 minutes for the first plate of pasta to arrive. This should have gone better.

We were in the beer garden around 5 p.m. Apparently, no one was expecting customers. The manager was busy with some friends. It took a relatively long time before we had seat cushions and could order. Ashtrays and napkins had to be ordered several times. The food—bruschetta, pizza, and lasagne—was quite tasteless. The restaurant in MH/Ruhr, on the other hand, is three notches better in terms of food and service.

Visit on Saturday May 17 Restaurant with a very strong potential super beautiful setting on the other hand the staff needs to be reframed as well as the management 😡 they were all completely lost in their service the waiters did not know who ordered what for which table and often the pizzas go back to the kitchen to reappear a few minutes later there are even people who sit at a table and suddenly given the mess decide simply to leave really too bad for your establishment!!! 1 hour of waiting to place our order overwhelmed by events and the restaurant was 50% full.... I find that the osteria in Karlsruhe is doing better in terms of service!!! There you go make some adjustments in your teams urgently and it will be good as said there is a strong potential! I will come back but not immediately.....

Unfortunately, very disappointing. This was our third consecutive visit to L'osteria Baden-Baden. Unfortunately, we noticed that the service had deteriorated significantly during our last visit, so we wanted to give L'Osteria another chance. The welcome was very dull when we arrived, and we were quickly shown to our tables. Unfortunately, we weren't given a monthly menu (Menu della Casa), which we certainly would have liked to have seen. The service seemed very lackluster and unmotivated. When we wanted to order our bruschetta appetizer, we were told to our faces, "No, we don't have it." Normally, the waiter informs the guest as soon as there are changes to the menu. This could have been combined with the monthly menu, but this wasn't the case. When we each ordered the tomato soup, which was a good portion, it was very poorly presented and served without salt, pepper, or bread. After searching for the waitress several times, my partner asked for bread, and they brought us two slices of small bread fairly quickly, but seriously, for two good portions of tomato soup...very disappointing and sad. When we got our main course, we weren't even asked if we wanted another drink, even though it was very clear that our glasses were empty. Instead, we were skillfully ignored and people walked around our table and our empty glasses. Ordering another drink was only possible by approaching the waitress and the very nice employee who placed the order. Unfortunately, we weren't even asked if we enjoyed our meal (after both courses). Overall, we are very, very disappointed with the change in service and will therefore not be visiting this L'osteria again.

Great location, but unfortunately, it doesn't offer what it could. Half an hour wait for the first drink. 1 hour and 10 minutes wait for the pizza. It's almost impossible to get a follow-up drink. It's a real shame, as the server was trying very hard. But it's probably a major problem in the system. I observed the drink production. It's prehistoric.

I went to the store for the first time yesterday. I just wanted to take some spaghetti with me. Apparently walk-in customers aren't that important. The waitress accepted my order but apparently didn't pass it on. After I asked, my order wasn't even started. Then finally, when the noodles were made, they stood wrapped up in the kitchen for ages and no one felt the need to give them out. Forgot the order...the second one...well shit happens...I really hope there will be better service next time otherwise I'll probably have to spend my money somewhere else 🙏🏻

Very loud background noise, stressful waitresses, pizza arrived even though the starter hadn't been eaten yet. So pizza cold. Service says pizza will be ordered as soon as the starter is out. So of course, get the table free again as quickly as possible. Tip: Order the main course only after you have eaten the starter. Artichokes and olives were missing from the antipasti plate.. a no go for 25 euros.. Reaction of the service person, oh sorry. That's it. Pizza very, very large, which I'm sure many people like, but this makes the pizza very thin and soggy in the middle. We won't come anymore.

The house lemonade was less fruity and tasty than other locations. The pizza was very good and the portion was quite large. Unfortunately the service was poor. My dish only came after I was asked again by the waiter what I would like to eat. The rest of the group had already finished eating by then. Our starter never came. One of our group ordered pasta, which was served cold and with burnt pine nuts without the burata that was ordered. However, the staff was very friendly and understanding, only the manager of the restaurant seemed to spread a bad mood and stress among the employees. The ambience is nice in itself, but unfortunately exhaust fumes keep blowing over from the nearby underground car park. The other guests were also smoking excessively. I would recommend not eating on site but ordering take away.

sorry, but the very tasty pizza is definitely too big for the plates. If there were a wooden board like tarte flambée, they would be easier to cut. We had someone on duty whose first day it was. And I thank her because she did it smoothly and correctly and obviously with a basic smile. You'll be happy to come back there.

We were there with two children and two adults. The seating in the "cellar"—which isn't meant negatively—was just right for us and our kids. The pizzas and salads were truly delicious, and the option to share the pizzas (half topping A, half topping B) is really sensible given the size. The service was first-class. Very attentive and friendly despite the restaurant being fully booked. Reservations, especially on weekends, are recommended.

The food was very good, the table arrangement wasn't really our thing as you could hear the conversation from the next guest at full volume. The next table was occupied by barking dogs. Dogs 🐕 simply don't belong in restaurants. My opinion. It used to be like that, and it should be reintroduced 😊👍

Have probably been here 6-7 times since it opened Pizza great, huge and delicious. The Insalata Mista is great, I just have to figure out the dressing. Service very friendly. You can also get a table without a reservation, but that's not always a guarantee.

We ate a sensational beef fillet with chanterelle mushrooms! Cooked to perfection. Better than in many steakhouses! The "Chef denCuisine" really knows his stuff! Friendly service with good wine advice and a fair price-performance ratio!
