You can make reservations online in advance, and you can do so quite spontaneously, but you should make them 3-4 hours in advance, even during the week, otherwise the last spot will quickly be gone. BUT: Unfortunately, it was disappointing overall. We had 4 different pizzas, from Salami Picante to Pizza Parma and Pizza Pollo to Pozza BBQ, they had everything. The overall impression: L'Osteria has been better. Here, they emphasize large portions, unfortunately at the expense of quality. The occasional slice of salami, for example, was very tasty, but unfortunately, there were only 8 small slices on the pizza, which meant that most bites had to be made do with the mediocre crust and the dismal tomato sauce. Simply and simply: Nothing special. The fact that the waitress then treats you like a mass-produced item doesn't lead to a "feel-good experience," and even the great location with the warm lighting can't help that. It's a shame - a few years ago, it was quality + quantity. Now it's only the latter. :(

Restaurant near the Uber arena - good place to go to before concert. Quick service. Very good food, but unfortunately they forgot to cut our pizza 😏. If the size of the pizza is a bit too much for you they will offer to pack it for you. You can pay with card.

Unfriendly and rip off! You order 2 half pizzas, but the full price of the most expensive one is charged. Absolutely dubious.

War alles spitze. Das Personal war super nett. Das Essen hat sensational geschmeckt und kam auch recht zeitig. Ich würde es auf jeden Fall weiter empfelen.

Comida italiana de muy buena calidad. Las pizzas son enormes, por lo que mejor pedir una para compartir. Te dan la opción de hacerla con dos sabores diferentes. Y con una ensalada, quedas de maravilla

We ordered half a mushroom and ham pizza, the ham was very little, and half a cheese pizza, they were delicious. The beer was good. Very noisy environment to be able to talk.

The first time I ate pizza in Germany that tasted like Italian pizza. Even the ingredients, I'm sure, were Italian. I ordered a particular one, "Nduja Calabrese." The risk of failure was very high due to the 'nduja, a specialty food produced only in Spilinga (Italy/Calabria). From where I'm from, I can confirm that it was very good! The place looked nice, with several Italian decorations enhancing the restaurant's theme. What else to say? If you feel far from home, or if you are in Berlin and want to try Italian pizza far from Italy, then you need to visit them! Next time I will try the pasta...

Food was okay. But very loud atmosphere. The restaurant was completely full and then the music was made even louder that you almost had to scream at each other. I didn't find it quite as cool!!

We got a table without a reservation. The service was very friendly and polite. Special requests such as no onions and no garlic were taken into account. The pizza was huge and delicious, the pasta was also delicious. Suitable for wheelchair users. Great value for money.

Very nice service staff. We were here with a large group for a company party and they tried very hard to make everyone happy, despite the chaos.

A large Italian restaurant in a square with lots of people and lots of tourists. It is probably designed accordingly. The pizza was good, the pasta we had was just so solid. A bit too much lemon, but after an already overpriced visit to the cinema it was okay anyway. The service was very attentive and was sorry that some dishes weren't available and apologized with two bags of gummy bears. In the end we got what we expected.

I once went to a l osteria in Grunewald. It was great. Now I would like to go to the uber place for my birthday at the end of January. But I need to know if there is a wheelchair accessible toilet in there!!! Kind regards from Gerardina

Anyone who comes here should definitely eat pizza. It's so big that it doesn't fit on the plate, so a pad is placed on the table. I would stay away from the lasagna, firstly very little and secondly, very dry and burnt. When you are implemented, make sure your food reaches you. But even when it's very busy, like before a Eisbären game, the delivery time is perfectly fine and the staff are hard-working. Be careful when paying with a card, as there are suggestions for tips that can be increased by 10%, which I find really harsh.

Had a nice time, staff were friendly. Paid 45-50€ for 3 dishes. Delicious!

Unfortunately I have to completely change my rating from 5 years ago. Today I ordered a lasagna that was actually completely cold inside. Now I pointed this out to the waiter and he picked it up. But the result was completely unexpected; I received exactly the same lasagne again, only warmer and completely melted. Now two things come together here, 1. The food is only thawed and not freshly prepared 2. Instead of getting at least a new portion, the same one was warmed twice again. 3. There wasn't even an apology or forgiveness. Sorry, I'm not going to go to a restaurant and spend the money. What's going on here? I actually know it differently and am therefore really shocked. If this is the new standard, you should go further here.

Best pizza in town! Addendum from our visit today. Pizza was still very good, but this time it wasn't really hot when it came to the table. Our paper documents were forgotten when stocking up or taking the order. Only when asked were they later pushed under the plate. The dishes for the starter were not cleared away, so there was hardly any room for the pizza, but the colleague preferred to walk back empty without any dishes... he only took something with him the second time. All of this wouldn't have been so crazy if communication with my colleague hadn't been so unpleasant. When I first asked whether the table was ready, I was told very loudly in front of all the customers that we had to wait at the front, after all, there was a sign there. However, I stood there for a moment and then just went in to make myself noticed. The ordering process went quite quickly, The drinks also came quickly. For a long time no one showed up to clear away the items, nor were we asked if we wanted to order anything else. I then asked a young woman if anyone would come again. The colleague then came and I said... I would like to get something going... I tried to briefly describe that we weren't so happy with the rather cold pizzas today... but I didn't get to anything more... it was shot back , instead of listening first... I then stopped and no one said anything anymore... except the blustering waiter... Conclusion...probably understaffed and way too much work, but it's a shame if that's left out on the customers. You know and like the casual style in the Osteria, but you should be able to take criticism. I'm reducing my stars from 5 to 2 because it wasn't a culinary experience, but rather unpleasant today!

Fantastische pizza met flinterdunne bodem en heerlijke pasta gegeten. Vooraf heerlijke bruschetta. Lekker wijntje erbij. Snelle en goede bediening.

First we waited 15 minutes at the entrance until someone came, then the waiter told us to wait even though there were seats available and in the end there was no more pasta or salads, only a half-warm pizza!!! Never again!!

We were very satisfied with our visit to L'Osteria! The selection of drinks is large, the waiters are very friendly and attentive, and the pizza – simply delicious! Everything was fresh and prepared with a lot of love. We really can't say anything bad and we'd love to come back. :)

Food is very good! Portions are really big, especially the pizzas. They also have a good vareity of items on the menu. I've been here two times now. The first time was a little bit of a disappointment as my order was completely wrong. But instead of waiting for 15 minutes for a new order while the rest of the company was eating I just ate it anyway. But it was not what I wanted. The staff made up for it, however, as they gave a free desert to the one in the group whose birthday we were there celebrating. They also played Happy Birthday on the speakers as they delivered the cake with a sparkler candle. The second time I was here the experience was way better. The staff was super friendly, chatty and very accomodating. We were a group of 6+ people and everyone got their correct order surprisingly quickly. Food and drinks were really good! Would recommend!

Wir haben in einer größeren Gruppe gemeinsam einen sehr schönen Abend erlebt! Angefangen von der freundlichen Begrüßung, der sofortigen Bedienung, und dem sehr guten Essen. Besonders erwähnenswert ist der durchgängig herzliche Umgang der Angestellten mit uns und vor allem mit unserem kleinsten Gast( fast 2 Jahre).

Nice location with huge pizza and nice waiters. This is a great place to spend your evening, especially if you then go to the event in the Uber Arena. ☺️

Nice service Delicious pizza rolls But too much salt in pasta

Worst restaurant experience ever. I ate the pasta pomodoro é balsamico. They served me a huge bowl of horror. The pasta was heavily overcooked. The tomato sauce tasted like it was straight out of a can. Onions were raw. Basil was brown. The whole meal was not seasoned at all. Tasted like nothing. And it was not just my meal that they messed up, all the pastas of my friends tasted the same (overcooked, unseasoned). Pizza was horrible aswell. We waited for at least 45-60 min. for a pasta that literally anyone could cook better. Never again. Tummy hurt afterwards.

As a Berliner you notice the tourist character. In this respect the quality is okay, not spectacular. If a waiter takes care of you, then he is also friendly. It was practically the second time I was there and the service staff were always completely overwhelmed

Good food, standard L'Osteria. Everything could be a little cheaper, but it's still ok. Location right in front of the Uber Arena, so perfect for dinner before things start.

The food didn't taste good and we didn't have to pay in the end. Lots of smells because the kitchen is open. Very busy staff very busy but friendly

L’Osteria is always a good choice when looking for an Italian restaurant. The pizza is very tasty and the version with half/half is simply clever. The restaurant itself is always quite full, which is why there are often long waiting times, which is why a star is deducted. The toilets are always kept clean. Right next to the cinema, just great for a late dinner :)

From the reservation to the meal, everything went great. Food was very good and great service!

This was the most expensive L’Osteria I’ve ever been to. I guess it’s because of the location. Food was all in all good. If you know L’Osteria you know what you will get.

We went to this restaurant out of necessity, as we couldn't find any restaurant and the others were all booked. We had low expectations, being an Italian restaurant in Berlin, but we actually didn't have a bad meal. The pizza was good and digestible, but perhaps a little too salty and oily. Well done.

I went there with a friend on Sunday. We ordered pizza and pasta. Pizza was quite big and taste was ok not great... Toppings were not spread properly, everything was only in the centre.. Pizza is my comfort food and i have tried it at many many restaurants. BUT the main problem here is the waiter., particularly one waiter..I found him lacking basic etiquettes to talk to customer. He was rude and racist. And i saw many people were showing their discomfort towards him. I wonder why is he even there? It’s not good for restaurant. PS: Increase the plate size according to the pizza size. It’s not cool, rather bad seeing the pizza is literally touching the table.. NOT RECOMMENDED..

solche Pizzen habe ich wirklich selten gesehen, echt riesig! Und wirklich lecker, sehr dünner Teig und knuspriger Rand. Ich hatte Pizza Marinara mit Meeresfrüchten, Käse und Knoblauch. Hat echt klasse geschmeckt, wobei ich mir noch ein wenig mehr Meeresfrüchte auf dieser riesigen Pizza für immerhin 18,50 Euro hätte vorstellen können. Auch die Pasta und die Salate sahen klasse aus. Der Service war professionell und freundlich. Ein Manko ist der Geräuschpegel im Lokal. Es ist m.E. prima für Gruppen geeignet, eher weniger für Geschäftsessen oder ein romantisches Date, dafür ist es einfach aufgrund des großen Gastraumes und der damit verbundenen hohen Anzahl der Gäste zu laut. Wenn man vor einer Veranstaltung in der Uber-Arena hier einkehren möchte, sollte man unbedingt vorbestellen (was für die meisten Lokale hier am Uber-Platz gilt) - denn dann ist es trotz der Größe wirklich rappelvoll hier und man bekommt ohne Reservierung keinen Tisch.

El recibimiento es muy malo, como si no fuera bienvenido. Además, situación rara, tenían muchas reservas de mesa pero no tenían ingredientes de la carta. Como antipasto no tenían nada. Definitivamente contratan a los garzones más mal genio y desagradables de Berlín.

We were here with our class and it was amazing how quickly the food arrived and how delicious everything was prepared!! The staff was also extremely accommodating!! Very very happy again!!

We ate at the Osteria 14 days ago. The food was exactly what we expected. We know the Osteria restaurants in many German cities as well as in neighboring countries and are always satisfied with the food on offer. But what is worth highlighting about the Osteria at Uberplatz is that the service was simply excellent!!! In a relaxed atmosphere we were served quickly, friendly and courteously. For this reason we went there again 3 days later and were once again rewarded with good food and great service. Many thanks at this point to the service employee Momo, who contributed greatly to our satisfaction, see you soon

Abbiamo cenato a questo ristorante, con basse aspettative. Ma invece il risultato è stato sorprendente, la pizza è fina, non stile napoletano, molto grande (nel menu indicano 45cm!) ma la cosa che mi ha impressionato è la qualità degli ingredienti: pomodoro, mozzarella, etc... sono migliori di molte pizzerie italiane! anche la prosciutto+funghi era ottima. I prezzi sono alti, circa 15€-18€ a pizza, ma sono giustificati, per la location e la qualità degli ingredienti. Fanno anche la pasta ma quella non l'abbiamo provata, e non saprei dare un giudizio.

Nice restaurant and solid food. Unfortunately, service that day, despite the restaurant being quite empty, was unfortunately not very behind when it came to filling the drinks.

We're not from Berlin, but every time we come we always go here. HUGE pizza and tastes great. I can also highly recommend spagetti cabonara.

1. Bottomless prices: water 7.5l for 7.25€ 2. Food was absolutely bad: pizza prosciutto e funghi was delicious, half of the pizza only tasted of tomato sauce, the other half only tasted of mushrooms. Almost made me throw up. Absolutely not recommended.

Rude people, menu not updated on website for 6 years and small portions for absurd prices. The pasta wasn't even really al dente and almost raw. Trust me and don't go to that snot shop

A big compliment to the two female service staff who were on site today (September 5th until 4 p.m.):) very nice service and also perfect timing when accepting the order and asking for further requests:)) the branch is also very nice and cozy and very clean and tidy :) I would love to come back!

Food was good as always, great quality pizzas like in every Lostaria. Service mediocre. Are not willing to put together tables outside for more than 4 people at lunchtime. Inside you are then refused an 8er Rösch “there is no room for you and your group” and are given a 5er even though the shop was empty

We love this restaurant. The atmosphere and the quality/taste of the food are really perfect and it's fun to spend your evening here, especially in summer. Unfortunately the service needs improvement. We sat on the terrace and the friendliness and attention left a lot to be desired. Neither oil nor salt/pepper was given to the table and when we actually wanted to order something more to drink, no one came by or came close. Some guests were served by the same person in a very friendly and courteous manner, which also gave them an unpleasant feeling.

Service is usually quick and on point. Unfortunately the food is not worth a second visit. The spaghetti carbonara had no real flavor and tasted more like fat than like a dish. The bruscetta also needs improvement and is not refined at all. Bread was crispy but the tomato pieces on it tasted a bit bitter and always fell off the bread because they were not kept on top with olive oil and a delicious cream as usual. So overall, unfortunately not worth another visit.

I've recently had a highly unpleasant experience in this restaurant. I entered a restaurant and asked a waiter whether they had a table for two. As a response I received: "You first need to say hi when you talk to people". I was shocked. Not only did the waiter did 0 effort to be nice and welcoming, he was showing attitude and trying to discipline me. Needles to say, I did not receive a response about a table. I've heard that waiters are super rude in Berlin, but this is another level.

After we were super satisfied in Lübeck, the waitress was great, the food was great, we wanted to repeat the experience in Berlin... The waiter was very unfriendly, the table assigned to us was dirty, so they didn't want to serve us!!!! ????

Ordered Pizza Funghi and Spaghetti Carbonara, both were very tasty. Shortly afterwards we had stomach complaints all evening (only due to carbonara) and we had to cancel our plans. Regrettably.
