We had really excellent pizza at l'Osteria. Please be aware, these are really big pizza's! We sadly had to admit defeat at the end, and couldn't finish it all, but the pizza was really good. I would like to describe my experience from yesterday at L'Osteria, which unfortunately was very unpleasant. First of all, I would like to emphasize that we were very impressed with the quality of the pizzas and the size of the portions on our first visit in spring and decided to eat here again yesterday. However, our joy was marred by the behavior of a black-haired, 45-50 year old employee. My companion had arrived 30 minutes before me and was given a seat in the dark interior. When I appeared, we decided to take a brighter spot by the window. As we got outside, we talked about how nice it would be to sit completely outside. Another employee overheard our conversation and kindly offered us a seat outside, which we gladly accepted as we were still standing in the foyer at the time and hadn't taken the seats by the windows. When the female employee in question saw my little family and I sitting down outside, she came out of the counter area and ran out to us. In a loud and unfriendly tone she said harshly that we couldn't change our seats five times (even though this wasn't the case). We explained to her that we had been approached by her colleague and were allowed to sit here. She replied that it wasn't desirable because people outside always made so much mess. Her tone remained very inappropriate (even towards the friendly employee). I told her that as an adult I would like to be treated this way and that I found her unfriendly behavior towards me and my family completely inappropriate, as well as the accusation that we were causing disorder and chaos outside. All the restaurant visitors watched this scene with horrified expressions on their faces. We found their treatment very unpleasant and humiliating. My five-year-old daughter was very disturbed by the incident and hid behind me the entire time. Faced with this inappropriate treatment, we decided to leave the restaurant. The employee in question should consider that a pub or bar might be better suited to her demeanor and her “Berlin snout”. It is regrettable that a lovely Sunday outing and the anticipation of a delicious pizza was overshadowed by such disrespectful and hostile behavior. I hope that the employee in question just had a bad day and that it is not a deeper problem such as discrimination based on my migration background and the color of my skin. It is very worrying that she accused us of making a mess outside.

Previously our regular Italian restaurant, where we really loved it. The quality of the food and service has been steadily declining for about a year. We were advised against pasta dishes because the new chef couldn't handle them?! Due to a lack of staff, you wait forever to order, and up to 30 minutes for drinks

Great food and ambiance, but I didn't need the moral lesson about not leaving a tip, when I already paid 40€ for two lasagnas and two juices. Dissapointing, because this was the second time there, the first time was great.

Awful place, poor attending and just regular pasta, besides being twice as expensive as any other Berlin restaurants. They also overcharge and held you in the restaurant making threats of police (!!!!) when their own credit card machine has a problem. Avoid this much of this restaurant.

Last Tuesday I had dinner here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. We had a small dog with us and were able to take a table at the open window, as the beautiful terrace was unfortunately closed due to a lack of staff. The starters were really very good, caprese with great date tomatoes and high-quality mozzarella as well as carpaccio with fresh rocket and parmesan. For the main course I had zucchini spaghetti. It was absolutely delicious and unfortunately rarely found on a menu. The service was sufficiently attentive and the waiting time was completely acceptable. I will gladly come again.

A nice, well-kept shop with friendly staff. We usually go there for lunch on Saturdays. Probably very crowded in the evening... Addendum/Addendum: Unfortunately, one point deducted for the “plan maker” on Sunday. Children were treated roughly because they made the floor really marginally wet. We apologize, but the black-haired shift manager just grumbled a little... it doesn't work at all!!! This woman doesn't fit into the team. We are regular guests and spend a lot of money, so I want people to be understanding when children use the fountain on the square when it's 30 degrees. Tip: Put a dry mop down and we'll clean it up.

After 45 minutes we still couldn't place an order (neither drinks nor food) and were deliberately ignored, we unfortunately left again. Disrespectful reception, no choice of seating and completely overwhelmed staff without a system. Not recommended.

Very VERY slow service. It took me about 15 minutes to wait for the waiter to come and wait almost an hour for one drink and one dish, and this despite the fact that the restaurant was about 50% occupied.

When you have trouble finding a restaurant, Rosteria is a good choice. The BBQ Chicken Pizza is perfect even with the lack of toppings. I didn't like it because the waitress seemed to force a tip.

This is how I start. Our hotel was right next to the Uber Arena. Since we arrived hungry, the location was great. Many restaurants on the doorstep, including LOsteria. Perfect, we know from Frankfurt. Great pasta, delicious pizza, crispy with mozzarella and juicy sauce. We left the restaurant happy and wanted to go back the next day. But back on site everything was different. Mass instead of class! Pizza like from the famous manufacturer from the freezer. Dry, hard, unaromatic, simply disappointing. Then the big thing: asking for extra basil even though there were only 5 leaves on the huge pizza. This isn't about the 50 cents, it's about the principle, dear Ober. Therefore unfortunately only 3 points.

Rarely and not eaten so badly in a long time. Salad drowned in dressing, spaghetti slapped on the plate like in kindergarten, taste indefinable, topping chicken breast ordered fried, received fried, bruschetta burnt. Pure Tourinepp… service was courteous

Greeted by very nonchalant waiters, I had to wait 15 minutes before my order was taken, the gentleman next to me and having arrived 10 minutes after me was able to order before. After taking my order, several people (20 people) coming from a conference were seated. What a surprise to see that these 20 people were served before me who, I remind you, had been there for more than 20 minutes. I would like to point out that it was impossible to have a coffee since the hot drink machine was faulty, so I had water and a chocolate fondant with a scoop of ice cream. So everyone was served before me, I was served 30 minutes after my arrival. The servers being very inattentive, nonchalant and very I don't care. When paying, the waiter didn't care so much that to cash me he looked elsewhere looking very busy without visibly paying attention to the payment terminal which was not even displayed on the device's screen. I had to call him so that he finally realized that a step was missing on his cash register machine. For a Wednesday lunchtime with some customers in the restaurant I find it very sad and disrespectful. This restaurant should be avoided especially on a personal level.

Very bad service. Unfortunately, I had the feeling that the staff were completely overwhelmed and had no idea themselves. We had ordered 2 pizzas and after 15 minutes people came to the next square and also ordered pizzas. However, they got their food before us, even though we had already ordered 15 minutes before they arrived. At some point when I asked, they noticed it too. Unfortunately we were given the cheap excuse that yes, the kitchen burned a pizza and threw it away, but they simply didn't make a new one... So we waited about 1.5 hours for 2 pizzas. While people around us were getting their food, even though they came clearly after us. Unfortunately, there was no compensation for the workforce either, as is usual in such a case. Like something, we'll run out of drinks or you'll get a €5 discount for the unpleasantness. Unfortunately, the BBQ chicken pizza wasn't so tasty that you can ignore it. The waiter used the same excuse with another guest when we left. I would never eat here again and would not recommend it to anyone. Then it's better to go to Hans in Happiness opposite!

I ordered 3 pizzas and a pasta. Everything arrived cold, unfortunately with Uber Eats you are put off by the support that you would pass on the reviews. I spent €70 on cold food that was no longer tasty. Pretty disappointed! Thanks for nothing.

We've just come from the restaurant full and happy. Great food, music a bit too loud, but extremely friendly, talkative, humorous staff. Our waitress came from Syria, another from Iran, and of course Italian could also be heard. There was a lot of appreciative interaction between each other, despite the hard work. Highest visit recommendation!!!

In fact: the 45 cm pizzas are very impressive, my asparagi almost looked like a tarte flambée with the onions and bacon. The dough is great, although the edge is too wide. It would be nice if the plates were big enough so that the pizza doesn't end up on the table. The mixed salad was available upon special request and the house dressing was fine. Filled up afterwards. And even though the store was quite busy, the service was attentive, friendly and seemed in a good mood. Which I really appreciate.

Everything was great. This restaurant is one of the best choices if you want to try Italian food in Berlin. The pizza was amazing, and the pasta was excellent. Both of them were delicious. The place was clean and had beautiful decorations. Additionally, the volume of music was ok. Also, the staff at this restaurant speak English very well, which is great for tourists.

We went on a very busy night, the night of the semi-finals at the final four in Euroleague 2024. Pizzas and pasta dishes were really tasty but mainly it was the waiter, his name is Momo, who made the dinning experience even better. His smile and positive attitude even at 1:00 after midnight and despite it was so crowded makes me want to return again again in L' Osteria. When you go, look for Momo! He's a pro!!!

I recently visited this restaurant and had an extremely disappointing experience. From the moment we walked in, the server’s attitude was unwelcoming and downright rude. Throughout our meal, he was dismissive and made us feel like we were a burden rather than valued customers. To top it off, he had the audacity to shame us for not tipping him after providing such poor service. The unwelcoming atmosphere and disrespectful treatment ruined what should have been an enjoyable dining experience. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for decent service and a pleasant atmosphere. 0/10.. such pitty

Perfect example of how an employee can ruin your night. When we arrived we made an honest mistake and the employee treated us in the rudest way i’ve ever encountered by an employee at a restaurant. Then after we ate and it was time for us to pay, he had the nerve to say “not tip after all that”. This was unacceptable, i hope the management takes steps to ensure the clients have a positive experience.

WORST WAITER EVER !!! I have never had such a rude waiter serve me before. I am mad. After my friends and I sat down the waiter came and told us off because we didn’t go through the main entrance and request a table which was just an honest mistake. He could have told us it is policy to request a table at the door but the way he talked to us was incredibly rude. When the time came to pay, he brought the card machine and when we chose not to leave him a tip he told us off AGAIN. Something along the lines of “After all this, no tip?”. You were rude to us from the beginning and that doesn’t warrant a tip. The pizza wasn’t all that great either. For some reason, the plate it came in was smaller than the actual pie. And they didn’t bring us individual plates. After all that, I can’t say I recommend you visit this restaurant.

My first time at L'Osteria. I have to say, convincing! Very tasty, very good service, incredibly large portions and a very nice atmosphere. The store was actually super full, but the service worked its magic for us. Completely satisfied.

The waiter Kai, a tanned, muscular guy, clearly harasses women!! I was there with my sister and as soon as he took the order he started making lewd comments and hinting at things he wanted to do to us in the toilet...never again!! This man is bad for business!!

The Place has a nice vibe.we eat Pizza margarita,Lasagna.Food was good.

Hello, I was there on Thursday, May 16th with my friends to complete our lovely trip to Berlin. But when I enjoyed the great ambience and the good food, it was RUINED by your disrespectful, almost anti-social waiter with glasses, a beard and black hair (probably named Basti). My friend was called small several times. He also gossiped about us behind the scenes and called us “anti-social.” This waiter also didn't give the correct change twice! If I could give minus stars I would definitely do so! We are angry and will never visit this place again. Take this review seriously! Greetings Professor Steffens.

Well, I can't share the enthusiasm that much. The pizza is large and thin and the toppings are also sparing. In addition, matching plates wouldn't be bad, so you don't have to worry about everything tipping over when cutting. In addition, the one male service worker was strenuous and talked as if we were great buddies. Trying it out once was ok, the ambience wasn't great either. There are definitely better places where you can eat for the money.

We spent the wait here until the concert started. A really tasty Italian. There is something on the menu for every taste. We came without making a reservation and got a table straight away. Even though it was as busy as Jns, we were served quickly and friendly. The food came pretty quickly and tasted absolutely great. The only thing that bothered me was the enormous noise in a full restaurant. Mekne Bedleitung and I often had to repeat sentences or even shout slightly so that we could understand each other. That's the only reason I'm deducting a star.

The pizzas all have a diameter of 45 cm. They are very tasty, with a nice thin and crispy edge. The service was very quick and super fun even though the restaurant was very busy. Of course, this creates an enormous background noise. But that is unavoidable given the size of the restaurant. You should reserve in advance, especially if there is an event coming up at the Uber Arena. There was a line in front of the restaurant. By the way: the toilets were very clean.

Pizzas the size of tractor tires, plenty of toppings, delicious and really filling. I've never been a fan of going out for Italian food, but ever since we discovered L'Osteria, I can't get enough of it. Good food, cool ambience and outstanding service really make this branch a highlight. We were also lucky enough to be guided through the evening by Basti. Why do I mention him too? Because you simply have to highlight his style and therefore him. As Hamburgers, we initially had to get used to the Berlin snout, but we liked it and actually come back again and again specifically because of it. His endearing, casual, yet very professional manner is second to none and ensures that you feel very well looked after and really welcome with him. Anyone who has an address like this, offers good food and has such wonderful employees is doing a lot right. We will definitely be back and can only recommend L'Osteria am (here is some US company) place to everyone who visits here. 5/5 stars (service even 7.4/5!)
