Extremely bad service Food was cold Everyone was unfriendly Can't recommend it!

The price-performance ratio is no longer acceptable. I ordered lasagna and received a small pile of lasagna sheets floating in a sea of ​​cheese. I could only find three tiny pieces of meat crumbs. The way the service was dependent on the age, gender, and appearance of the customers. It might be okay for a pizza dinner. Everything else was below average and overpriced (considering the quality of the food).

The pizzas are good, but all of our salads had lettuce leaves that were no longer fresh. There were far too few strips of beef fillet. We pointed this out to the waiter. The bad lettuce leaves were lying on a plate. No apology or consideration. What a shame!

It was our first time there and we thought we'd try the pizza because it looked good in the pictures and the reviews were good too. After waiting at the entrance for 5 minutes because we didn't know if there was a choice of seating or not, we were told we could sit anywhere. The problem was that there were actually used glasses at every free table...we thought it didn't matter, they would probably clear it straight away. After another 5 minutes of waiting at the table, there was still no service, so we put the glasses to one side and lit the tea light. After what felt like another 5 minutes, a server came and said she would be right with us. Then another server cleaned the tables around us and laid out menus everywhere...except for ours. After what felt like 20 minutes, there was still no server who asked us if we wanted a drink or brought a menu to the table, so we got up and headed towards the exit. None of the many employees in the restaurant noticed this either. The bottom line is that we can't rate the food, but the service is unfortunately extremely poor. And no, the restaurant wasn't packed and there were at least five waitresses in the restaurant.

Can't give it a star. Terrible evening. Reserved for 5 people, birthday, arrived on time, rude waitress, there's a free table at the back, leftover food on the table, unfortunately, the pre-ordered drinks weren't set, snippy second waitress, ordered food, salad in advance, salad came with the food, wrong pizza, well, do you want to wait until a new one comes or is this the one you're getting? The "apology coffee" or dessert was offered, and the bill was wrong. Worst pizza, dry, bland, and hard. All in all, just under €100 for nothing.

Everything was great as always, definitely recommended.

We've been to many osterias across Germany. Ulm was the worst for us so far. The pizza toppings weren't good. Tables weren't clean, and the drinks weren't carbonated.

The ambiance was lovely, and the pizza was delicious. But the person who stood out the most was Chiara. Her incredibly dedicated service made our dinner experience so much better. She was very personable and friendly, and we'll definitely be back!

The food was delicious, as always. I love the pizza and salads. The chili oil was very good. However, the waitress's reaction to our question about why one of four espressos came in a large cup surprised me: because everyone was busy, what should I do? My daughter replied, "Do the dishes!" Her reaction was "Okay, thanks." Not even an apology for the very high tip. We've been to several L'Osterias...but none compare to Constance. Everything was perfect and delicious. Top-notch service, courteous, and fast. You'd happily drive 100km and eat there after a walk.

The food was, as always, delicious. The service was absolutely inappropriate. When I asked why one of the four espressos came in an oversized cup, I was a bit shocked: "Because they're all booked, what am I supposed to do?" "Three are in espresso cups." To this strange reply, I simply said, "Flush it!" The response was "Okay, thanks." Not even an apology for a very large tip, which was completely incomprehensible.

We love going to L'Osteria because the food is always delicious and the service is usually very friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant experience on our last visit: The blonde server was very rude, rolled her eyes, and made us feel unwelcome. When we politely asked if the pizza could be served with two different halves on two plates and if they could please cut them at the same time, we received an annoyed reply: "You'll have to do it yourself." – even though we later saw that other guests had received this service without any problems. It's a shame, because we've always felt very comfortable. We hope that the next visit will be as pleasant and friendly as usual.

We had the pizza, very thin and huge, about 50 cm in diameter. The service was fast and precise. I recommend it.

We ordered pizza, which was really good and huge (almost too big for us; it overflowed the large plate, making it difficult to slice). I had half of it wrapped up. Easily manageable if you're very hungry, but otherwise it's just too big.

Very friendly staff; despite being very busy, our 18-inch pizzas arrived very quickly. The lovingly prepared pizzas are particularly noteworthy; the margarita also came with a few basil leaves and a few tomatoes. Highly recommended! Allow some time to pay, as the staff are almost constantly on the go and have a lot to do.

I had the food delivered. The pizza was completely cold and hard. The salad came without the dressing I ordered. I received a cold pizza and a dry salad. It wasn't good. When I called, I was told that they couldn't do anything about the cold pizza (due to delivery service) and that the driver would bring the dressing later. I don't recommend ordering from here.

The Pizzeria L'Osteria Ulm is the worst pizzeria. The food is bad and disgusting, and the service is terrible. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We ate two pizzas. 1 calzone, 1 egg/spinach. The service staff was quite unfriendly. The second pizza finally arrived after we asked for it, 10 minutes after the first, and it was very crispy and so burnt in places that it was sometimes uneatable. We paid €32 for it without drinks. Unfortunately, that's not good for this quality, in my opinion. Drinks cost €5 for a 0.5L soft drink. The beer costs the same, and the 0.7L water costs €7. After we refused to tip for the poor service, we didn't even get a goodbye; the waitress simply walked away without a word.

Didn't get the pizza I ordered, but still charged full price. If they're out of anchovies, I have to ask the customer if they want a different pizza. And not just serve the pizza without anchovies. Our favorite pizzeria in Ulm was a shame.

Very nice ambiance outside by the fountain next to olive trees with a view of historic houses. The service was much friendlier than in Günzburg. The pizza was large and delicious, as usual.

We used to be regulars at lunchtime. After moving offices, we stopped by again – that was the last time! The tortelloni were harder than al dente. The service was extremely friendly. The "could" criterion: "Forced tip" when paying by card. I'm happy to tip if the service was good. But definitely not 7.5%, 10%, or 15% electronically; I'd rather pay in cash!

My husband and I wanted something to eat. After we sat down at a free table, a waiter with tattoos and a nose piercing came over, threw a "reserved" sign on the table, and told us in an unfriendly tone that the table was reserved – even though there were several equally large, free tables with the same number of chairs right next to it. The waiter then went to a colleague and complained that we hadn't gotten up immediately. He then deliberately ignored us and didn't serve us. Only when my husband approached another waiter did we receive any attention. We have never experienced such behavior, which we considered rude and disrespectful, in a restaurant before. We would like to ask you to review this incident internally to prevent future guests from having a similar experience.

We ordered food. My chicken salad came without chicken and without dressing, and the Coke was also forgotten. When I called, I was always told to call back later because the manager was apparently out... (write down my number and call me back... terrible service) This went on three times until someone told me they would refund me for the salad. It's now half a year later, and I've never received anything... Disappointing; they used to be really good, but have since gone downhill considerably.

The cesar salad and mango salad were good and the tiramisu was very good. The staff was friendly, but it felt a little bit chaotic. I recommend you chose a table strategically where they pass often. Ambiente was ok, but the music was too loud, so most people had to talkloud during conversations, which made it even more noisy.

The food is quite good, but the waiters are terrible. They're ingratiating, and if you don't tip well, they never have the right change. This has happened to me three times already.

5 stars – Great service, especially with children! We visited L'Osteria Ulm today with our four children – and thanks to our waiter Sebastian, we had an exceptionally pleasant experience! He had a great sense of our family situation, was incredibly attentive, and proactively arranged many things before we even had to say anything. Whether it was quick children's orders, clever drink placement, straws for all children without asking, or simply a friendly, calm demeanor – Sebastian ensured that we truly enjoyed our meal. Service like this isn't something you can take for granted – high praise! The food was delicious, only the shrimp on the salad could have been a bit fresher, the atmosphere lively – but the service made all the difference today. Thank you, Sebastian!

We wanted to sit outside at L'Osteria today – but the waitress, ESLEM, rudely refused, even though other customers were sitting outside. When we asked, she snapped that "the customers are getting dumber and dumber," insulted us, and aggressively stormed toward me when we asked for another waitress. I don't expect such disrespectful service in any restaurant.

Good pizzeria. The pizzas are huge, so you'd better come with a good appetite. The prices are reasonable. However, the wait staff could occasionally ask if you'd like something to drink, for example.

There were three of us there. I had a reservation. The food was great. But it was too loud, you couldn't hear the other person. The tables were too close together. All in all, everything was good; we'll definitely go back.

We were very satisfied. The quality of the (huge) pizza and pasta was very good! We'd be happy to go back! Special praise goes to our very friendly waitress, Carmen, who always had a smile on her face!

The service was really nice, but the quality of the food was disappointing – the Cokes were flat, and the bread with the antipasti was dry and hard, like it was yesterday. This could easily be improved. Despite the lovely outdoor area, we definitely wouldn't come again.

We were there on Schwörmontag (Swearing Monday) with about 17 people, and it was simply fantastic! Sebastian served us very well, and we all got our food and drinks very quickly. We'd be happy to go back!

We made a reservation for a large group. We were given a very awkward seat right in the entrance area with a lot of foot traffic. The noise level was enormous, so it was impossible to have a conversation. We had to wait a very long time for our food. The table next to us was completely forgotten. The drinks were not fizzy. The food was decent, but unfortunately the salad plates were not really clean. All in all, the service was completely overwhelmed. It actually started when we ordered our drinks. We had to wait almost an hour before we could pay. In the meantime, I told two other servers that I wanted to pay, but they couldn't sort it out. One said he would tell the manager, but that didn't make any difference. So we'll be avoiding this place in the future.

So if you reserve a table and you arrive, and then you have to wait half an hour for what? Then you get the worst table, half inside, half outside, crooked. The staff is completely disorganized. The food came after an hour. I know it from Metzingen, and I have to say, I'll never go back to Ulm. I didn't feel welcome.

Unfortunately, the food was terrible! The service was nice but they gave me a completely wrong bill. I was fair, otherwise I would have paid €15 less ;-). Anyway, it's not a good place, unfortunately.

We wanted to go there for dinner today. Reserved a table via app. When we got there, there were already people queuing outside the restaurant. So I queued up, but unfortunately nothing happened. The people in front of us were ignored or told that it wasn't full. When I asked a member of staff what was going on and that I had a reservation, I was rudely directed to a colleague who was guiding people from the entrance to their tables. There hadn't been any sign of them for over 15 minutes. Bottom line: I won't be going back to this place, and one star is still too much for this gastronomic masterpiece.

I went there on my friend's recommendation. Absolutely no flavor. I do not recommend it. The beer was lukewarm. The cola had almost no acidity. I will never come back. The pizza is nothing to rave about. The pasta was not fully cooked. Disgrace.

Because it was (once) my girlfriend's favorite restaurant, we went there (my second time). The atmosphere is very nice, I can't complain, but the wait time, the service, and the restroom left a lot to be desired!!! We ordered fairly early. Our drink arrived after 45 minutes. In the meantime, the waiter (on his second day, according to his statement) came and asked for our order again (didn't go through properly). The appetizer also arrived quite late, and we had to get the condiments ourselves! The waiter rushed through the restaurant, unable to keep up with everyone else's orders. After about 1 1/4 hours, just before we were about to leave (yes, we really did wait that long), our pizza finally arrived (we ordered one pizza together, with our girlfriend's topping on one half and my desired topping on the other). However, the waiter divided them so that each of us had a quarter of the other's topping and a quarter of the original topping. While paying, we argued about the price (waiter: I'll have to pay extra from my meager salary, there's a lot of staff turnover here...). In the end, we settled for it, as it was getting quite late. No tip was left. Before we left, we checked the restroom, and what we found there was an absolute NO-GO!!! Used tampons, lots of toilet paper, and a foul odor were all over the place, not to mention the hole in one of the stalls (which had been covered with a garbage bag)! Conclusion: We won't be going back there anytime soon!!!

For years, we've enjoyed driving the 30-45 minutes to L'Osteria in Ulm. Unfortunately, we don't have to do that anymore. This is the second time in a row that we weren't satisfied. We arrived at 8:30 p.m. and didn't even have drinks until 9:15 p.m. We only had the "appetizer" at 9:45 p.m., and our pizza and second drinks only at 10:15 p.m. It was also cut incorrectly. So we shared a pizza with two different sides. Normally, they cut it in half so everyone gets their half. That's how it's been at L'Osteria for years. This time, they cut it in half so everyone gets a quarter. So, there were two different toppings on one half. The server said he didn't remember who ordered what. When paying, we asked if we could waive the charge for the second drink due to the circumstances. He vehemently refused, saying he would have had to pay for it out of his own pocket, and it was only his second day there. As we left, I almost fainted. It stank unbelievably: a hole in the wall that had been hastily patched with tape and a trash bag, and there was toilet paper, used tampons, and even cutlery all over the floor. We've been customers for years, and I used to call L'Osteria in Ulm my favorite restaurant. Definitely not anymore.

We've been waiting 1:30 hours for our food despite having a reservation. The service is absolutely terrible!

We waited an hour for food and after asking twice how long it would take, the waiter Ezlem said "can't you see what's going on?" We said "we do see" but everyone who came after us had already eaten, he just laughed at us and didn't care, very unprofessional. It was the same the first time, I gave them a second chance but unfortunately they didn't deserve it. The pizza I ordered didn't come either. The Coke wasn't carbonated either. Please find good staff who can deal with customers.

When we suggested he should maybe pass it on to management he cheekily replied "no he won't" and laughed. All in all it was disappointing again and we gave the whole thing another chance. But never again!
