The pizzas are so big that two people can easily share one, and they taste quite good. The staff is also very friendly. The only downside was that my Sprite, and also a friend's, were completely flat. Otherwise, quite good.

The restaurant, if you can even call it that, is loud and uncomfortable. The toilets are dirty and the smell is disgusting, which begs the question: what's the kitchen like?! The service was very quick and friendly at first. Unfortunately, we sat in front of our empty plates until we paid. The pizza is known to be large, but unfortunately, the dough isn't particularly tasty; the toppings are okay. A return visit is unlikely.

XXL pizzas, the size of which I've never seen before (kudos for that!). I also really appreciate that you can have different toppings on each half of the pizza. However, taste-wise, I have to say it was way too greasy! My pizza was covered in a layer of oil, and I couldn't finish it completely, otherwise I would have actually felt sick from all the oil. The fat probably came from the cheese, so a little less cheese would be a good solution. The acoustics in the building aren't the best either. The noise level is quite high. You practically had to shout at the person sitting across from you to hear anything. The service and the wait time were fine.

We visited L'Osteria this weekend for the first time in a while and were particularly pleasantly surprised by the service. Many thanks to Sebastian, who treated us to a very special Sunday meal and took such wonderful care of our three-year-old son. We'd love to come back.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, the restaurant is very nice. But the best part is the food: large portions, excellent taste, and quality. The price/performance ratio is absolutely fine. If we come back to the area, we'll definitely come back here.

We were a large group of grandmas, grandpas, and toddlers at L'Osteria, and it was a wonderful visit all around. The food was really good, and the service was super friendly and attentive – even the children were very kind. Thank you for the great service and the lovely evening – we'll be back. 🍕😊

The food was truly delicious, and we were completely satisfied. Unfortunately, the young lady who served us was quite unfriendly and seemed unattentive. She didn't even ask if everything was okay or if we wanted anything else—we had to approach her ourselves each time. It was also a bit awkward that she leaned over the entire table while serving instead of simply walking around it.

Unfortunately, our visit to L'Osteria Ulm last Sunday was a disappointment. We initially had to wait about 40 minutes for two pizzas – a surprisingly long wait for a restaurant that was only about 70% full. During this time, the wait staff barely paid any attention to us. When we finally wanted to order two more pizzas, the waiter (Aleksandar Ki., around 8:15 p.m.) reacted very unfriendly and told us in a rude manner that it would take another 40 minutes. However, the pizzas ultimately arrived after about 15 minutes, which makes the previous statement all the more questionable. This kind of treatment of guests does not correspond to the service we have come to expect from L'Osteria. It's a real shame – we hope for improvement.

We always enjoy coming here because the atmosphere is fantastic and the people who work here do everything to make you feel comfortable. Oh yes: We also enjoyed the food, of course :-)

Was here today as a tourist: Extremely friendly staff! We received a very warm welcome and prompt service! My pasta was absolutely delicious, al dente, just as it should be. The arrabiata sauce was delicious with fresh parsley. I'd love to come back!

I've been to Losteria several times, including in other cities, and the food has always been consistently good. The service in Ulm is top-notch. Very friendly and attentive, which isn't something you'd expect from large restaurants. Thumbs up from me, I'd love to go back!

I've ordered several times now, and each time it was too late. I had to wait 30-35 minutes, even though I called an hour ago. It's way too loud inside to eat comfortably. The food tasted delicious, but the service was terrible. I wasn't given enough change. After I spoke to them, it was resolved. I wanted forks and was told they didn't have any. When I asked another colleague, they suddenly did. The food was delicious and the restaurant was nice, but unfortunately, the waitresses made it unpleasant. I won't be coming again.

We deliberately chose a L'Osteria on our way to vacation because we know and appreciate the high standards of quality and service from other restaurants. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The interior was uninviting, and the service was more concerned with billing than with serving guests – even though the restaurant was sparsely populated. During our stay, the kitchen staff was cleaning the lights above the cooking area, which left an overall unkempt impression. This impression continued in the restrooms, which were also not clean. The pizzas tasted okay. They seemed larger than usual, but the dough was significantly thicker than in other L'Osteria restaurants. Overall, this restaurant did not meet the quality standards we expect from L'Osteria. We were disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant.

Sebastian was super nice and took good care of us

On Sunday afternoon, L'Osteria Ulm was packed to the rafters – and yet everything went smoothly. A huge compliment to Sebastian, who seemed to be handling the service single-handedly. With his relaxed and very friendly manner, he looked after us perfectly and ensured that we left the restaurant happy. Of course, the food was, as always, truly delicious. We've enjoyed coming to L'Osteria for many years and have never been disappointed by the food. Congratulations again to Sebastian, keep up the good work! The bosses can be proud to employ such a dedicated, full-blooded service machine!

Ulm's Grote Pizza and...delicious

We've been twice now: to the Culture Night and the Light Serenade. Sure, the city is packed then, but as a manager, I know that in advance. Both times, we waited an hour for our food and drinks. Yesterday, the waiters were yelling at each other in front of us because they were so annoyed and exhausted; it was incredibly unprofessional. We won't be going again.

We had reserved a table a week in advance to spend a pleasant evening – unfortunately, the entire visit was a complete disappointment. First, despite having reserved well in advance, we were seated in a hot corner, even though several reserved tables were available outside. One waiter even told us we could sit outside, only to be immediately sent away by the next one – very unprofessional. No one informed us in advance that we would have to wait at least an hour for our pizza. When it finally arrived, it was extremely thin, tasteless, and simply disappointing. Absolutely unacceptable for that wait time. Finally, we even had to wait about 20 minutes before we could even pay the bill. All in all: a thoroughly dismal evening. I will definitely not visit this restaurant again – especially not when you reserve a week in advance and then get treated like this.

The two of us ate at L'Osteria today. The food was very good, and I would especially like to mention our waiter, Sebastian. Although the restaurant was full and very busy, he was friendly, calm, and attentive throughout. While many of his colleagues seemed overwhelmed and sometimes left things unfinished (e.g., full glasses outside or tables left uncleaned), Sebastian visibly helped in all areas—whether at the bar, clearing, or at other tables. He was constantly on the move, checking on guests and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Our impression was that he handled a large portion of the workload that evening and, with his dedication, played a crucial role in keeping the restaurant running smoothly. Despite the high pressure, he remained friendly, helpful, and professional. In short: Sebastian was an excellent server and left a very positive impression!

We actually always enjoy going to L' Osterias. Whether it's in Hamburg, Cologne, or Passau. But unfortunately, this was definitely our first and last visit to Ulm. Redeeming my heart worked out. More or less. Because after redeeming the voucher, they said it could only be one pizza, consisting of only one flavor, and not half and half like elsewhere. Unfortunately, it doesn't say that in the app before redeeming it. For whole-wheat pasta instead of the L' Osteria pasta, we had to pay an extra 50 cents. It's not stated anywhere. The young waiter clearly made an effort with us. However, he probably only became a waiter due to a lack of staff, because, according to him, he actually works at the bar. That's absolutely no problem for us. But it is a problem when the "shift manager" walks past our table grumbling and asks, visibly annoyed, how long it would take him to get a table. That's completely disrespectful to customers and simply not appropriate. The food itself was delicious, as always. To make matters worse, the unfriendly man didn't even manage to convert my bill back into hearts at the end.

You really can't complain here. You can order a pizza for two people, each sharing half of it with whatever toppings you like, and simply pay for one pizza. And the size of the pizza is even better. The staff is also very attentive and friendly. We highly recommend it.

The pizzas are good, but all of our salads had lettuce leaves that were no longer fresh. There were far too few strips of beef fillet. We pointed this out to the waiter. The bad lettuce leaves were lying on a plate. No apology or consideration. What a shame!

The price-performance ratio is no longer acceptable. I ordered lasagna and received a small pile of lasagna sheets floating in a sea of ​​cheese. I could only find three tiny pieces of meat crumbs. The service was dependent on the age, gender, and appearance of the customers. It might be okay for a pizza dinner. Everything else was below average and overpriced (considering the quality of the food).

It was our first time there and we thought we'd try the pizza because it looked good in the pictures and the reviews were good too. After waiting at the entrance for 5 minutes because we didn't know if there was a choice of seating or not, we were told we could sit anywhere. The problem was that there were actually used glasses at every free table...we thought it didn't matter, they would probably clear it straight away. After another 5 minutes of waiting at the table, there was still no service, so we put the glasses to one side and lit the tea light. After what felt like another 5 minutes, a server came and said she would be right with us. Then another server cleaned the tables around us and laid out menus everywhere...except for ours. After what felt like 20 minutes, there was still no server who asked us if we wanted a drink or brought a menu to the table, so we got up and headed towards the exit. None of the many employees in the restaurant noticed this either. The bottom line is that we can't rate the food, but the service is unfortunately extremely poor. And no, the restaurant wasn't packed and there were at least five waitresses in the restaurant.

Can't give it a star. Terrible evening. Reserved for 5 people, birthday, arrived on time, rude waitress, there's a free table at the back, leftover food on the table, unfortunately, the pre-ordered drinks weren't set, snippy second waitress, ordered food, salad in advance, salad came with the food, wrong pizza, well, do you want to wait until a new one comes or is this the one you're getting? The "apology coffee" or dessert was offered, and the bill was wrong. Worst pizza, dry, bland, and hard. All in all, just under €100 for nothing.
