Disastrous. The waiter with the glasses poured three beers on us and then made stupid comments instead of apologizing properly. Absolutely outrageous. It's best to avoid this "restaurant."

My wife and I visited the restaurant in the evening when it was somewhat crowded. Unfortunately, our experience was impacted by the behavior of one of the staff members. Upon arrival, there was no one at the entrance to guide us, so we stepped in slightly to look for a table. At that moment, a waiter addressed us in a noticeably rude and unfriendly tone, saying, "You are supposed to wait there." His approach was abrupt and carried an unnecessary attitude, which made us feel quite unwelcome. I have dined at many establishments and rarely encountered such behavior. While we understand that restaurants can be busy, professional courtesy should never be compromised. Guests should be treated with respect regardless of the circumstances. Thankfully, another waitress later assisted us and was polite and welcoming, which helped ease the situation. The food, particularly the pizza, was excellent and worth mentioning. However, the initial interaction left a lasting impression. My wife even addressed the issue with the staff member before we left, expressing that such behavior was inappropriate. We truly appreciated the quality of the food, but due to the service experience, we are uncertain if we would return. We hope the management takes note of this feedback to ensure all guests are treated with the professionalism and respect they deserve.

Unfortunately, I experienced extremely poor service during my visit, and it took an incredibly long time to order the food. It took even longer for the food to arrive. Any concessions were rejected, even though the visit was involuntarily delayed from 7 p.m. to 10:20 p.m. The kitchen can only be criticized in two ways: The meat on a salad with poultry shouldn't be raw inside, and covering the burnt bits of the pizza with arugula is rather unprofessional.

We sat at a perfectly normal table — which, by the way, was within their own restaurant area — and after waiting 30 minutes, they told us they wouldn’t serve us because we were “sitting too far away.” Excuse me? We’re in your restaurant, not across the street! Meanwhile, the waiters were comfortably sitting at their own table, completely ignoring us. No apology, no solution — just arrogance and laziness. If this is how they treat their guests, then no thanks, once was more than enough. Never again!

We arrived as a group of seven people hoping to spend a pleasant evening here. Unfortunately, we were neither greeted nor served. After being ignored for 10 minutes, we decided to leave the restaurant.

The parmesan for my pasta and salt never arrived, and we had to wait 40 minutes to pay. Not at all open to criticism. He just sighs and rolls his eyes. I loved this place from my first visit (about three years ago) until they brought me BBQ-chicken pizza twice without any chicken!! How is that possible? I couldn't even imagine that it was possible. Disappointed

We reserved a table for my confirmation. We also had our own requests, such as tablecloths, floral decorations, or a custom cake, which were openly and warmly accepted. Antipasti could also be ordered in advance, so we could enjoy our appetizers at the table of our choice right after the church service. Our bilingual family (Italian/German) was also taken into consideration, and orders were translated. The servers were friendly and very attentive. The pizzas were brought out for 11 people at once and were delicious. We received remarkably open, uncompromising, warm, and friendly service. Highly recommended!

We were really looking forward to a lovely evening with delicious food – we ordered pizza, pasta, and bruschetta as starters. The pasta arrived after about 10 minutes, which was fine. But then I sat there alone and ate, while my companion had to wait another 20 minutes for the pizza. A shared meal? No way. The bruschetta – our starter – was completely forgotten. It only arrived when we asked for it, when we were already full. The starter turned into a belated "dessert." This was definitely not how we imagined the evening would turn out. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing – definitely the last time for us.

We've always enjoyed coming here, but today we were extremely disappointed. We had specifically made a reservation, but weren't allowed to sit inside and had to sit outside, despite repeatedly asking... Our server was also very overwhelmed and was more concerned with chatting with male guests than serving us. We had to wait about an hour for our food, and then our pasta was forgotten, which meant we had to wait forever again. In the end, there was no apology or anything. It's a real shame, because we usually enjoy coming here.

A very modern restaurant. The staff is very child-friendly, prompt, and attentive. We were served quite quickly and were all very satisfied. Depending on where you sit, the background noise can be a bit loud, which can be annoying. I would happily recommend L'Osteria.

Very friendly atmosphere, the staff was also very friendly. We really enjoyed the pizzas and you could see how they were prepared. We could also see that fresh ingredients were used in the kitchen. Highly recommended. Always happy. Even in summer you can sit outside in the beautiful garden and enjoy a few wonderful hours.

We were a group of six and there were only tables for four people. We intended to move two tables together, but this was not possible. It's a shame that we ultimately couldn't bring you any sales.

Just what I expect from L'Osteria.

Oversized but very tasty pizzas. Great service, very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that when we visited, the indoor restaurant was busy and therefore very noisy. But it's bearable.

It's a shame, I used to love going there. Unfortunately the last two visits were very disappointing. Last time on Wednesday, pizza at least 1/3 smaller than before. Tortellini were smaller than a child's portion. 7 tortellini in the dish. The taste is great, but the quantity is subpar. Unfortunately it was the last time.

The L’Osteria in Ulm impresses with huge, delicious pizzas and friendly, attentive service. The panna cotta is highly recommended. The staff ensures a welcoming atmosphere in which you feel completely comfortable. A visit is worth it!

I didn't expect such a thin dough like string. Anyone who says the pizzria offers Italian food has to go to a real Italian restaurant.

Food doesn't speak of quality I ordered Manzo salad with strips of beef fillet, it was a salad that I would have made better in terms of appearance and taste at home. No love when serving, the salad wasn't crunchy but completely soaked. Just put 4 pieces of meat on top and you're good. After all, your eyes eat with you. Only the salad dressing was delicious. The pizzas are large and the dough takes some getting used to, it was more like a yufka dough... Service was nice and friendly..

I had very positive expectations because I've heard several times that L'Osteria is an absolutely great pizzeria...Unfortunately, based on experience, not the one in Ulm.. Let's start from the beginning: Yesterday I went to L'Osteria for the first time. We had reserved a table. The waitress first had to check whether there was even a free table. Lucky (or not?😅), there was one last table. The chairs were not very comfortable (wooden chairs without seat cushions) and the table for 3 people and the large pizzas were too small.. We sat in the dry for 25 minutes before anyone even came to get drinks, and unfortunately only after we asked if someone could please come. The waitress said she would come straight away. After another 5 minutes she still wasn't there and another waitress finally came. You could tell just from the waitresses' facial expressions that everyone wasn't in the mood. Well, I hoped for more from the pizza. Mine was partially burnt to charcoal black, which definitely couldn't have been eaten for health reasons. It's a shame that something like this is even served. Our conclusion: Once L'Osteria Ulm -> Never again L'Osteria Ulm.

We were here with our two children. The food was delicious and was on the table after 15 minutes. Sebastian, the service person took excellent care of us. He has the hearts of our two little ones (2 and 5 years old). conquered. He is a very attentive and polite person! Happy to come back :)

3 stars because the pizza was OK. Everything else about this store is a joke. Service was terrible and didn't look at us with a ****. Ordered 2 cokes. Never arrived. Also don't ask for more than one question. At the END it suddenly said: “You can only pay in cash. The machines don’t work.” Can't you tell me that beforehand? Then I first had to look for an ATM. Really juicy. Never again.

It's a real shame - great location - this was the second time we've been here - service really leaves a lot to be desired! Totally disorganized, ordered drinks twice today - waiting time 30 minutes each time!!! Then the awesome drink is out - no alternative etc. offered.

Food was great Service was an absolute disaster, we waited 20 minutes for someone to come to take an order. After another 25 minutes, 2 pizzas arrived...in the end we wanted to pay, our neighboring table had already been waiting for service for 20 minutes. Another waitress came and I wanted to pay, which unfortunately wasn't possible at first because everything has to be handled by one waitress... after a short discussion it was still possible. We were there for a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes and another neighboring table was not cleaned or prepared during this time, although in the meantime a mother and her child were also waiting there in vain for service. The food was great but the rest ruled out another visit.

It was the best shrimp pizza I've ever eaten. Gamberetti (Pizza Bianca).

I've been there many times and have never been disappointed.

Pizza was very good, but we had to wait over an hour and therefore had to take the pizza to eat outside the restaurant due to scheduling reasons. For me the sound limit is 30 minutes waiting time, but not 68 minutes.

Unfortunately we were disappointed. My pizza was cold and when I pointed it out they just said "that's weird". No apology or offer to change that. I said I'd eat them anyway. My son didn't get his own plate, but he did get cutlery, some of which we adults were missing. The vegan cheese and the cherry drink were out. The chair I was sitting on was so wobbly that I decided to replace it. Towels in the toilet were missing. I understand that the staff was busy, but they seemed unfriendly and unhelpful. My son's drink didn't come until much later when he asked. It's a shame, the pizza itself was good in terms of taste, but there were a lot of other things added to it.

The waiter lets you sit for 30 minutes without taking an order but calls several times that he'll be there soon. Then he prefers to clear tables in the restaurant in peace of mind You can't treat guests like that. Other staff say it's on break, but they collect money at the next table. There were hardly any guests on site during our visit.

Classic L'Osteria branch. Food great, drinks too. The pizza is huge and very tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful, but unfortunately not very attentive, even though there was little going on in the store. The resulting longer waiting time for the order to be taken and the resulting greatly delayed food and drink was annoying. Nevertheless we will come back 😀

I now know L'Osteria in Heidelberg, Augsburg, Mannheim, and Ulm. I like the chain because the food is always equally good. However, the service in Ulm is unacceptable. I had almost finished my spaghetti when my son's pizza arrived. The noise level in the restaurant was simply too loud. So: Augsburg, Mannheim, Heidelberg... I'd gladly go back. Ulm... I'll find another pizzeria here.

Solíamos ser clientes en los últimos 4 años. La pizza que comimos la última vez estaba hecha con queso barato y salsa de tomate, demasiado cocida y la masa no tenía sabor. Está claro que se trataba de una combinación de ingredientes pobres y falta de competencia en la preparación de las pizzas. La puerta permaneció abierta toda la noche y otros huéspedes se quejaron de la temperatura fría dentro del restaurante. La música era tan alta que era realmente difícil tener una conversación en una mesa de 4 personas. Solía ser un lugar decente, pero ya no es así. No aconsejamos ir allí.

A completely successful visit! The food was very tasty, the portions were generous and the quality was convincing. The excellent service was particularly positive - the entire team was extremely friendly and accommodating. The reservation went smoothly and we received a warm welcome straight away. The ambience is inviting and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening. In addition, everything, including the toilets, was very clean. We'll definitely be back!

The taste was delicious as always, but everything in the restaurant was very chaotic, for example you had to... First you look for iced tea in the warehouse and first the pizza was brought and then you were given the placemats that are characteristic of l'osteria. The fresh mint tea contains very little mint, but the price is quite high.

It was very tasty there but a bit noisy. The pizza and drinks were very tasty.

I just have to say: our waiter is absolutely amazing! So hard working, always in a good mood and just a machine. He was super attentive the whole time, always running and really sweetened our evening with his funny manner. In general the team was very accommodating and friendly. Of course the pizza was good too – and so huge. All in all - an experience not to be missed!

There were four of us and I ordered a pizza prschutto, but the menu says nothing that the pizza has onions on it. Am I allergic to onions and I told the waitress that I couldn't eat the pizza because it had onions on it. The young woman took it with her and then someone, I don't know if he was a boss, came to me. Nasty and unfriendly asked me what was the problem? Then I explained to him again. Pizza is okay but not recommended at all.

I made a reservation a week earlier and wrote when making the reservation that I would like to reserve a seat at the window. When we arrived there was almost no table available so we had to sit somewhere else. The food was no longer hot but lukewarm to cold and the pizza was burnt We had to wait a very long time until we were served, even though they said my colleague was coming, then they said my colleague was coming. In the end, we still had to wait. Other clients were served earlier even though they came later. I wouldn't recommend. In addition, a dog next door was very unhygienic.

Disappointing service despite friendly service We were in the outdoor area of ​​L’Osteria in Ulm on Saturday afternoon when the sun was shining. First of all, praise: The waitress who took our order was friendly and got to us quite quickly despite the large number of guests. Since we come regularly, we already knew what we wanted to drink and eat and placed our order straight away. After about 20 minutes the pizzas arrived - but without a prepared table. Neither cutlery nor the typical paper mat were available. I particularly attach great importance to the surface so that the food does not touch the table directly. We had to wait for the cutlery as it apparently still needed to be prepared. The drinks were still missing at this point. When I asked, we were assured that they would look into it - but it took another 10 minutes until the drinks finally arrived - we were almost finished with the pizzas. These delays have clouded what was actually a positive impression. We didn't feel like staying after that and went somewhere else for a drink. I'm not used to that from L'Osteria. Previously the service had always been well organized, but this time everything seemed chaotic. The organization should definitely be worked on here - it's a shame about what would otherwise be a lovely experience.
