Celebrated our children's birthday today, it was very entertaining and very funny for the children as they were allowed to top their own pizza. The service was also top notch.

We've been here occasionally before, but we've never experienced such unfriendly service. When we asked the waitress if she could serve the whole meal at the same time since we are here for Iftar, her expression changed immediately. I have never seen such an unfriendly person. I don't think I will come here again

Unfortunately, my experience with L’Osteria was disappointing. The order was incomplete and the salads were swapped several times. We called specifically and still didn't receive the complete delivery. When I tried to clarify this over the phone, I was treated rather unfriendly - customer service is different. The food itself didn't convince us either. The portions were small, the chicken was no longer warm and the taste just didn't convince me. Given the prices, I would have expected much more. Overall, unfortunately not a recommendation! Otherwise I was always rather satisfied.

Went there for her birthday, unfortunately there was still room for improvement, the birthday child didn't get any surprises despite it being offered by the waiter. Some dishes tasted really old, others weren't tasty at all. Others were really great, for example the make-your-own waffles. The staff was in a bad mood and seemed stressed, so there's still a lot of room for improvement. Otherwise, the idea was great, the atmosphere was great and some things were also really tasty

Great service and very tasty food

This evening we had the pleasure of dining at L’Osteria in Mönchengladbach – and what can I say? It was an experience in a class of its own! As soon as we entered we were greeted with a warm smile. But then Stefan came – the waiter you could only wish for! Friendly, attentive, with a sense of humor that made every order a small event. It's rare to find someone like that in the catering industry! The food? A dream! The pizza was bigger than me, perfectly crispy and full of flavor. The pasta? Al dente, with a sauce that danced on the tongue. And the dessert? A poem! The ambience? Pure Italy! Casual, lively, with a hint of vacation in the air. Anyone who isn't happy here can't be helped. In short: 5 out of 5 stars is actually not enough here. Thanks to Stefan and the whole team for this fantastic evening – we will definitely be back!

We celebrated my daughter's 7th birthday today. The celebration was a great success! The children were overjoyed that they had created their own pizzas. A really nice birthday in both culinary and playful terms. Thanks to Reem for making the birthday so great!

Food was great, pizza was really big

The food is great in terms of taste and quality, pizza with a thin, crispy base (I've found something like that in Germany), for example, is really a hit. Service was always friendly and accommodating. The ambience is like an industrial canteen, very open and therefore very loud and bustling.

Portion was small, it is leaves, already consumes too much unneccesary space due to volume, better be served in a larger bowl, how much it would cost extra to add a few more leaves, anyhow beef was ok, sauce was not as exciting, it was dipped immediately to the bottom, I wish they shaked the salad with sauce so I could enjoy it fully not 30%, above all mango pieces added some extra joy to finalize this small but unnecessarily expensive meal.

Well, quite OK. More mass instead of class I've eaten better pizza with every delivery service. That doesn't mean it was bad, but it really wasn't anything special. The service staff are pretty slow, but it's also a huge load and they can't tear themselves apart. So it was ok to eat a 45 cm pizza (it never doesn't fit on the 30 cm plate), but that was it.

Went to the store today for the first time and it was very tasty. Everything was great right down to the service and praise to the staff, especially Alexa. I would personally like to visit the L'Osteria Mönchengladbach restaurant again.

Update: The expression of free opinion is challenged by alleged violations by Losteria on Google and you are asked to delete the review or it is simply censored. Really very weak! Instead of addressing the content of the complaint. In my opinion: Unfortunately, it was no longer as service-oriented as it used to be; when ordering for delivery, the pizza wasn't half full at that point! (2020) Statement on the phone: It doesn't work! Unfortunately very unsatisfactory as a paying customer. Too bad...

Our casserole was lukewarm! After we mentioned this to the waitress, we were told! "We shouldn't have a casserole next time, but rather a pizza or pasta dish!" I haven't received an answer like that yet!

Best pizzeria in Mönchengladbach

The last time I was there was 15 years ago and I have to say - it's still very tasty there. Pizzas are highly recommended there, even though I had the impression that they were slightly smaller and not quite as crispy as they were back then. But they still go above and beyond and taste fantastic, so you don't have to worry about not being full.

This is my second time in this restaurant and the second time we find ourselves on a waiter change. The last time we were in this establishment was on 02/09, it was my husband’s birthday and we came as a family to have lunch. At first we were served by a tall guy, very cultured, polite, the service was wonderful. But then a blonde came to replace him and the service became simply terrible (on my first visit, by the way, she was there too and it was the same) ... she pretended until the very end that she didn’t see us and when I needed to order something, I had to look for other waiters and ask for my order, which after that I waited for a very long time (for example, I waited 15 minutes for strawberry lemonade). Thank you, at the same time as the blonde waitress, a young boy with glasses worked and he always took our orders, although his tables were in a completely different part of the restaurant. When we asked for the bill, the blonde, surprisingly, came right away and didn’t even ignore us... it seemed like they were making fun of us. We spent more than 100 euros and left a tip, but the boy with the glasses deserved that tip. I really love your establishment and your cuisine... but the service is simply terrible...

If you want some authentic Italian food, this is the place to try. Loved every dishes we tried. Vegetarian options are also available. Highly recommended for pizza lovers.

We ordered food online twice, but unfortunately the service was disappointing both times. The first time we were told the order had only come in three minutes ago, even though we were able to prove it had been placed 20 minutes ago. After we pointed this out, they just said there was a system error - without any apology. I mean, the customer is king. The second time the restaurant couldn't deliver, so we drove there to pick up the food ourselves. There I was asked by someone who was probably my superior, without even greeting me, why I didn't have a bag with me - as if I were a driver. When another employee made it clear that I simply wanted to pick up my food, there was no excuse. Instead, the employee turned around without a word and left. Only when I pointed out that I was a customer and didn't want to be treated like that did I come to a belated realization. For me, this is simply bad service and shows how unprofessionally customers - and probably also employees - are treated there. Just embarrassing. This applies to the Mönchengladbach location

We ordered Margherite and tuna pizzas. Also Caesar salad and bruschetta. The pizza arrived cold, the salad had no distinctive sauce and the chicken was so hard from frying that it was difficult to eat. The bruschetta was tasteless and the bread was old and chewy. The place is beautiful and the service is very good, but unfortunately the food is not... What a pity . They go for quantity, not quality. I don't understand where these positive opinions and prices come from.

A nice place in itself - unfortunately the service is very poor. The service staff complains directly in front of the guest that the host is putting too many guests in his area. You don't feel very welcome there. The restaurant wasn't very busy (3 p.m.), but it was already 1/4 hour before the drink arrived. The food was ok.

The three of us decided on pizza and pasta. Quality wise it was really good. The pizzas were very filling. Now unfortunately for the negative. I was almost finished eating when my companion got their food. Normally a portion of Spaghetti Aglio e Oglio is absolutely sufficient, but the portion here was quite manageable. We are used to something different from restaurants of this chain in other cities. This criticism was acknowledged, but that was it. Oh yes... not all of the ingredients we ordered were served and not added after we pointed them out. Hungry and not really satisfied, we then made our way home. At least we cannot recommend this L'Osteria in good conscience.

Actually the food was tasteless and had nothing at all to do with a spaghetti carbonara. A mountain of pasta with tasteless derriere on top. Maybe I ordered the wrong food because the pizza looks very good. But I won't try that again because I've finished eating there.

Dear Reem gave our children a really great birthday. With a lot of patience she helped the children to make delicious pizzas, everyone was thrilled! At the end, each child receives a small gift. The playground right next to the restaurant is also worth its weight in gold. We are completely satisfied.

Great restaurant. The three of us made a spontaneous inline reservation at short notice and received a confirmation immediately. Friendly welcome on site. The food is very good and the price/performance ratio is 100%. Very nice and courteous staff and great location. All in all a great evening. We felt very comfortable.

Today we celebrated our daughter's 9th birthday here with 11 children. Everything was just great from start to finish. The children had more fun than they had in a long time. We as parents were also very excited. The lady (Mrs. Reem). who spent the birthday with the children was very sweet and super friendly and took great care of the children. The food was delicious - the restaurant is always full (speaks for itself) so it's better to reserve a table. You can order via the waiter and via a barcode, so everything goes smoothly.

The food is very tasty, no one asks, so 2 stars. But being asked to leave a tip when paying by card is very callous. We wanted to pay in advance so that we didn't have to wait long. When we pressed for no tip, we were just looked at askance and that evening we weren't served anymore until the food was there. Everyone else was asked if everything was ok with us, nothing very arrogant waitress.
