We went there for brunch for the first time today and can say there was a really large selection of rolls, pizza, brushetta, scrambled eggs, cold cuts, scrambled eggs, muesli, waffles, salads, tiramisu soup, etc We were all thrilled..:-). All thumbs up

The service was excellent, especially our personal waitress was incredibly nice and attentive. The children had a lot of fun topping their own pizza - a real highlight! I actually like going to L'Osteria Mönchengladbach. And the L'Osteria app was good too, back when you could just scan the receipt. Unfortunately, that's changed now. The waitress couldn't explain why that was done. Now my digital "loyalty card" was scanned, and the hearts still couldn't be credited to the app (there would have been 74 hearts). I'm a little disappointed. Please bring back the "receipt scan function." It makes things easier for everyone. Thank you!

We were able to celebrate a private event with over 50 people in the afternoon in the beautifully designed winter garden of L'Osteria Mönchengladbach – and it was simply perfect from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the stylish ambiance: The winter garden is not only an architectural highlight, but with its bright, friendly atmosphere and modern, yet cozy design, it creates a place where you immediately feel at home. Despite the large group, everything ran absolutely smoothly – you could feel the professionalism and experience of the entire team. A very special thank you goes to our waiter, Stefan, who led us through the afternoon with incredible friendliness, attentiveness, and a constant smile. No wish was left unfulfilled – service at an absolutely top level! We would also like to thank Florin, the manager, who was a wonderful host and ensured everything ran smoothly with his friendly, confident manner. Here you can see: heart and soul, passion, and a true sense of hospitality. There were also more than 12 children between the ages of 3 and 8 at the party, who were constantly in the children's playground and had endless fun. Happy children = happy parents! The food? A real treat! The typical huge pizzas, freshly prepared pasta, delicious antipasti, and a mega dessert – all of excellent quality and served with lots of love. Particularly impressive: Despite the size of the group, all the dishes were served piping hot in a perfectly organized manner – that deserves respect! In conclusion: 5 stars are almost too few. This afternoon was a true highlight and set standards. If you're looking for an exceptional location with first-class food and service, L'Osteria Mönchengladbach is the place to be. We'll definitely be back – and not just with 50 people!

Had brunch with 4 people today. Everything was very tasty and a good selection of dishes. When I wanted to pay the entire bill by card, I was very annoyed that I was asked to press the tip button before I could confirm the amount of 108.90. I'm happy to give a tip if the service was good, but I'd like to decide the amount myself and not have it dictated to me.

Dear L'Osteria Team, I'm writing to you today with a complaint because my visit to your restaurant in Mönchengladbach was unfortunately an extremely unpleasant experience, even though I've always enjoyed eating there. As with my previous visits, I ordered my usual pasta dish, which I regularly request to be enhanced with a small dash of cream, which has never been a problem. But today, of all days, on a day that was already very stressful for me, the waiter refused to make this small change for me with a completely incomprehensible explanation. He told me that they don't accommodate such individual customer requests and don't offer any extras with the dish. When I explained to him that I had ordered this dish several times before and that it had always been completely straightforward, an argument ensued that was unnecessarily exaggerated. I felt neither understood nor treated kindly. The situation was so unpleasant that I felt compelled to call another waitress and cancel the entire order. To my surprise, or rather, to my reassurance, the second waitress told me that it would be no problem at all to accommodate my request. Within a few minutes, I received my meal as requested. She was friendly, solution-oriented, and demonstrated exactly what a guest wants from the very beginning: customer service. Unfortunately, that wasn't the end of the unpleasant situation. While I was eating my meal, the same waiter I had previously discussed with continued to stare at me provocatively – in a manner that was extremely unpleasant and disrespectful. I couldn't even enjoy my meal in peace, as I felt constantly observed and downright harassed. When it finally came time to pay, this waiter completely ignored me. I had to call the second, friendly waitress again to settle my bill – which I then did in cash. Overall, this visit was not only disappointing, but also deeply disrespectful and inappropriate. I felt neither welcome nor valued – and this in a restaurant where I was previously a regular. I am honestly shocked by the way you treat paying guests. Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant of your brand and philosophy. Based on this experience, I will not eat at L'Osteria Mönchengladbach in the future – even with family or friends. I hope you take this complaint seriously and address your internal procedures and train your staff so that other guests do not have to suffer the same unpleasant experience. Sincerely

Pizza and pasta are always the yummiest ever.

The waitress was super friendly, her name was Alexa. The food was very good and the atmosphere was as expected. Everything was well-maintained and clean.

We especially enjoy going here with larger groups. I always recommend making a reservation, as it gets very busy during the week, even in the evenings. The food itself is good and tasty, but of course, this is a chain. This is noticeable in some dishes. The oversized pizzas could have been a bit more topping, depending on the variety. The service was very friendly, but we would have preferred our drinks to come quicker.

I have become a fan of system catering because you exemplify it so well. The mix of your brunch, the extra large pizzas, delicious pasta dishes and many of your own creations make your concept something unique. Every employee is helpful, friendly and radiates a lot of positive energy. You also give back a lot of points per order via your app. You can really do a lot with this. I'm a huge fan.

Unfortunately we visited L'Osteria for the last time today. There were always five of us there. After paying, I received the receipt and food was booked, which we didn't receive because it was sold out. When asked for a refund, the following was offered: either pay the bill in full again. The canceled amount should then be refunded in 3 weeks. Or you would note by hand on the receipt that there is a credit balance. This unprofessional approach for €13.95 is not worth a star. Too bad.

We were 3 adults and 1 baby We were friendly shown to our table. My child was given bread upon request, which I thought was really great! While we were waiting for our food, another employee came with a balloon. As far as child-friendliness is concerned, I have absolutely nothing to complain about! I saw that there is even a small playground outside for older kids. Unfortunately we waited a very long time (almost 90 minutes) for our food. This only happened when we asked because our order had apparently been forgotten. As a small apology, our waitress offered us each a coffee of our choice on the house. The operations manager then brought us our food order after 10 minutes and asked if anything was missing and we discussed the coffee session. He apparently didn't know anything, left and spoke to our waitress. We didn't understand a word, but it looked like he was blaming her when the waitress couldn't be blamed for something going wrong in the kitchen. However, I unfortunately have to say that during the entire stay, apart from the first order of drinks and food, we were not asked once whether we wanted more drinks or whether everything was good. After we had eaten, our waitress had disappeared after work and no one felt responsible for our table, so we told the bar that we wanted to pay. The waiter who came to us to collect the money was the first to ask if everything had been okay, and we explained to him again the situation during our stay. As we were leaving, the operations manager asked us (in a hypocritical tone, mind you) whether we had received our coffees. He was lucky that my child was tired and simply didn't want to be there anymore (we didn't expect him to stay there for so long either) because I would have loved to talk to him/discuss what it was all about. The food itself is delicious at Losteria, but I won't eat out in Mönchengladbach again.

We ate here for the first time today with our children. Unfortunately we weren't that enthusiastic and were a bit disappointed since the reviews aren't that bad. It was very crowded and also very loud. We had to wait 10 minutes at the front until someone brought us to the table. The pizzas were okay. We clearly ate better somewhere else. Very very dry. You couldn't eat the edge at all, and so there was no explosion in terms of taste. Even the children didn't like it. Once and not again

Unfortunately, my experience with L’Osteria was disappointing. The order was incomplete and the salads were swapped several times. We called specifically and still didn't receive the complete delivery. When I tried to clarify this over the phone, I was treated rather unfriendly - customer service is different. The food itself didn't convince us either. The portions were small, the chicken was no longer warm and the taste just didn't convince me. Given the prices, I would have expected much more. Overall, unfortunately not a recommendation! Otherwise I was always rather satisfied.

We've been here occasionally before, but we've never experienced such unfriendly service. When we asked the waitress if she could serve the whole meal at the same time since we are here for Iftar, her expression changed immediately. I have never seen such an unfriendly person. I don't think I will come here again

Went there for her birthday, unfortunately there was still room for improvement, the birthday child didn't get any surprises despite it being offered by the waiter. Some dishes tasted really old, others weren't tasty at all. Others were really great, for example the make-your-own waffles. The staff was in a bad mood and seemed stressed, so there's still a lot of room for improvement. Otherwise, the idea was great, the atmosphere was great and some things were also really tasty

This evening we had the pleasure of dining at L’Osteria in Mönchengladbach – and what can I say? It was an experience in a class of its own! As soon as we entered we were greeted with a warm smile. But then Stefan came – the waiter you could only wish for! Friendly, attentive, with a sense of humor that made every order a small event. It's rare to find someone like that in the catering industry! The food? A dream! The pizza was bigger than me, perfectly crispy and full of flavor. The pasta? Al dente, with a sauce that danced on the tongue. And the dessert? A poem! The ambience? Pure Italy! Casual, lively, with a hint of vacation in the air. Anyone who isn't happy here can't be helped. In short: 5 out of 5 stars is actually not enough here. Thanks to Stefan and the whole team for this fantastic evening – we will definitely be back!

The food is great in terms of taste and quality, pizza with a thin, crispy base (I've found something like that in Germany), for example, is really a hit. Service was always friendly and accommodating. The ambience is like an industrial canteen, very open and therefore very loud and bustling.

Portion was small, it is leaves, already consumes too much unneccesary space due to volume, better be served in a larger bowl, how much it would cost extra to add a few more leaves, anyhow beef was ok, sauce was not as exciting, it was dipped immediately to the bottom, I wish they shaked the salad with sauce so I could enjoy it fully not 30%, above all mango pieces added some extra joy to finalize this small but unnecessarily expensive meal.

Well, quite OK. More mass instead of class I've eaten better pizza with every delivery service. That doesn't mean it was bad, but it really wasn't anything special. The service staff are pretty slow, but it's also a huge load and they can't tear themselves apart. So it was ok to eat a 45 cm pizza (it never doesn't fit on the 30 cm plate), but that was it.

Our casserole was lukewarm! After we mentioned this to the waitress, we were told! "We shouldn't have a casserole next time, but rather a pizza or pasta dish!" I haven't received an answer like that yet!

The last time I was there was 15 years ago and I have to say - it's still very tasty there. Pizzas are highly recommended there, even though I had the impression that they were slightly smaller and not quite as crispy as they were back then. But they still go above and beyond and taste fantastic, so you don't have to worry about not being full.
