Long Hai - Sushi Asia Restaurant Potsdam in Potsdam

The food was very, very tasty and went super fast. We had ordered sushi. Would love to come back here.

The food was delicious and very inexpensive. The lunch menu is valid from Monday to Saturday. The ambience was the way I like it at Asian restaurants (it brings back fond childhood memories for me): decorated wooden paneling, dragons, cranes, red lanterns. The service staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back.

After waiting for more than one hour we decided to leave the restaurant and went somewhere else. As we paid the drinks the waiter did not excuse himself and became very unfriendly. That was the first and the last time for us in that restaurant

After getting a seat from the friendly waiter, after 10 minutes we decided to get the menu from the counter ourselves. After another 10 minutes and after appropriate hand signals, our order was taken, 2 drinks, 2 x sour-spicy soup and two main courses. The dirty tablecloth was changed immediately - following our advice - and the drinks were delivered. After an hour of waiting, we paid for the drinks and left. There was no apology.

After the first order the service was no longer seen. 2 hours on dry land. Because of the bill, I had to get the waiter from the kitchen. Food tastes subterranean (duck duck, mango sauce almost tasteless). Toilet/floor unclean.

As a family, we felt very comfortable in the outdoor area with a view of a historic building. The food was wonderful and plentiful. Everyone really enjoyed their dish and all expectations were fully met. Both employees were very attentive to us - including our little daughter - and they also took the time to have a friendly conversation when asked. A look inside shows a typically Asian, cozy and spacious room that can certainly also be used for celebrations. We were wonderfully relaxed during our stay and then happy and full :-) We would love to come back.

Food was OK, cool is different! Service was also ok. Ambiance is nice. Unfortunately, there are too many other Vietnamese restaurants in Potsdam that are better in terms of price and taste. It's nice to be able to eat in the restaurant, especially because of the ambience.

Great ambience and exceptional cuisine make a visit to Long Hai an experience. The sushi specialties are among the tastiest of their kind that I have tasted in recent years. Only the hot plate lacked a bit of sophistication. Otherwise, I give the five stars with conviction.

Right back out after we saw that this restaurant was cruel to animals. See the fish tank in the entrance.

First surprise: We had reserved a table for a Saturday evening. But it wasn't necessary at all. The shop was almost empty. One table was occupied. That didn't change either. We started to feel uneasy about what that could mean. The food was okay and, like all Chinese restaurants, corresponded to local taste. We had udong noodles and crispy duck. Cheap prices.

Some of the food was really not good, the sushi tasted old and sour, everything else wasn't that good either, good value for money, but half of it was left behind, bad. We were a group of 8 people and wanted to sit outside, which seemed to be a huge problem, then the tables were set up like this with a wonderful view of a beautiful wall.

Servings are extremely small for the cost. Food is medicore, Mostly vegetables and barely any meat in the entrees from our experience, I'm writing the review after sitting there for 2.5 hours of bad service. Server came to us once every 30 minutes at most. Bathrooms are in bad condition with no soap, and in the end we waited 20 minutes for our 2 euros in change before just giving up because the server took too long. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Food was undercooked and we were required to wait for long over an hour. This is my second time in this restaurant in a two year span and both times I've had the same experience. Long wait times, for no reason Underwhelming food for the price. Restrooms are in really bad shape.

Seems like a typical Asian restaurant. Waitress very businesslike. Gives the impression of being annoyed if the sales are not right. The food was a bit pale and not particularly hot, didn't leave me wanting "more". The sanitary facilities could occasionally be overhauled. Doesn't fit in with the rest of the place.

There was no egg in the fried rice with egg and the rice was a bit too soft, but the taste was okay. Likewise service and ambience.

At first glance the restaurant is beautifully designed. It is decorated right down to the ceiling. Unfortunately our place was not clean. It's still okay for me that if there's a small blob on the white tablecloth, it won't be replaced. But it was more than a blob. Also, my placemat was dirty so even the napkin was stuck to it. The doily was made of plastic, so it could have easily been wiped off, which was not done. Decoration is all well and good, but it should also be kept clean, especially if the guest is sitting right next to it. The food was fine for me. There was a little bit of sauce and unfortunately the taste was quite neutral. The chicken was very fresh and tasted incredibly good. I had chicken with peanut sauce and vegetables.

If it were possible to give more than 5 stars, I would do so without hesitation. This restaurant is first class in my opinion. The ambience in classic 90s style inspires me every time I visit. The welcome is very warm - the service and the operator personally take their time. I regularly use the short waiting time for the food to relax because everything is just right here, from the lighting and furnishings to the acoustics. Luckily there is no trace of the modern big city scene shop flair here. This is ultimately reflected in the more than reasonable prices and the numerous regular guests. The food tastes great thanks to the fresh ingredients and I would happily eat my way through the entire menu if that were possible in this life. Of course, traditional dishes are also served. After eating I feel refreshed like after a day at the spa. To top it all off, there is usually a little something on the house and the boss says goodbye in person. Of course, I have invited numerous friends and acquaintances to this restaurant - everyone was thrilled. At the moment it is still a lesser-known gem, especially among newcomers and tourists, but that is guaranteed to change. Conclusion: Best restaurant in Potsdam, definitely try it out!

I was treated badly by the waitress at lunch yesterday. If you are foreigner be prepared to be treated terribly by the lady. The food was good, the rest of the worker that we are men but the lady if I happen to go there too she will never come near me again. Interestingly, she is also a foreigner full of hate.
