Das Essen ist gut, aber es ist fast unverschämt teuer. Unverhältnismäßig! Musik für meinen Geschmack zu laut, aber dass empfindet jeder anders.

Das Essen ist am sehr gut, wenn auch hochpreisig. Was den Genuss wirklich stört, ist miserable laute Musik. Leider ein Grund, nicht mehr wiederzukommen.

The operator owns several Asian restaurants, all of which are decorated in a similar style and serve equally good and similar food. There is a very modern charm to electronic music. Anyone who likes that will be happy, anyone who likes it a little more classic and romantic will be less happy here when it comes to the ambience. The food is beyond any doubt, very good in preparation and quality. The prices are just at the acceptable end for what is offered. As a couple, you can easily reach three figures without opening a bottle of wine. In short: good but expensive!

We had heard that this restaurant was good - that was a good prerequisite. When we looked at the menu we were a bit confused at first, the price level was a bit "raised". However, we were able to find that the quality of the food also corresponds to this level without any restrictions. It was very tasty. The ambience is a matter of personal taste - we have difficulties with benches without backrests.

Vouchers are only accepted with the original receipt. Our voucher was not accepted because it was a copy. The employer who gave the voucher needs the original, so we only had the copy. Extremely annoying, rude! We will never go there again and don't recommend it!

Fick rekommendationen av hotellet bredvid när vi råkat hamna i Potsdam istället för Berlin. Så överraskade vi blev av denna fantastiska Vietnamesiska mat. Om vi kommer i närheten igen kommer vi verkligen att komma tillbaka. Finest Asian kitchen står det utanför restaurangen och det stämmer verkligen. Det enda tråkiga var att vi ätit en senare lunch så vi orkade bara varsin huvudrätt. Vi åt Chi Keng Curry med anka som var helt fantastisk och Ca Hoi Dac Biet med lätt-halstrad Tonfisk av finaste kvalitet. Därtill ett (eller två) glas Vollratz Riesling. Vi kommer tillbaka och lovar att vara hungrigare så att vi även orkar förrätter.

The drinks are now simply overpriced and the way guests are treated when it comes to choosing or assigning seats is sometimes very rude, almost cheeky, considering how much money they are leaving there.

I'll give the location two stars! We wanted to have beautiful weather on October 7th. Sit outside and enjoy the sun. Unfortunately the waiter thwarted our plans. "He would be alone and couldn't serve outside too." He turned down my offer to get the things himself and bring them back in with the words "then everyone would want that." 😱 I didn't know I was such a people magnet. 🤣🤣🤣 It's a shame, but the Spaniard EL BARON opposite was very friendly and the view of the Brandenburg Gate in Potsdam was even better.

The food is super fine. All big portions and if you can afford it then you can go there. But extremely expensive for Germany. Starters all cost at least 15 euros. And main course at least 20 - 25 euros. A beer 0.5 for 7.5 euros. And water 0.75l for 9.60 euros is grossly overpriced. As I said 1 you can go there. But such prices are unusual for Germany.

This is a great restaurant. Beautifully decorated with an open kitchen located in the back and generous seating outside as well as inside makes it so amazing. The staff is very fast and attentive. They made sure to give me extra cilantro, even gave it for free! The flavors are great and authentic I would say. I had pho and the broth was really good. They have Vietnamese food, thai food and sushi, as well as vegetarian options. I would always come back and highly recommend this place.

I used to be excited. The price is now very high, but the restaurant has made the sushi rolls simply huge (1 special or inside out is enough to fill you up). I had to dismantle it into pieces. In my opinion, this corresponds to the concept of sushi. Because the rolls are so big and so expensive, you can't try different variations. You simply can't do it. The quality of the fish is good. We won't eat there anymore.

I was disappointed during my visit today: the prices have been raised again. A small cola 5 euros, all right. I think two summer rolls for 15 euros or a salmon nigiri for 11 euros are borderline. The service is confusing: I was asked by 4 people about the order I had already placed. It still took 15 minutes to get the drink.

Update June 2024; The prices have now reached the level of madness! :-( Always delicious food, but it has now become very expensive after the last price increase - especially when you consider the proximity to the excellent Asian restaurants in Charlottenburg and Berlin's China Town. It's a shame, Potsdam is apparently too small for anything more than provincial food. Tip: If you can spend 20 minutes from Potsdam HBF to Charlottenburg, we recommend the Asians there! :)

The restaurant is well located and pleasant. But the good location is reflected in the menu. The food is plentiful, but we had a piece of plastic from the packaging in the food, which shouldn't happen at this price.

To ensure that the prices are at least as high as in a well-equipped restaurant, it would be better to adapt the ambience accordingly. Food is okay, but nothing more. In terms of price, I don't think it's right overall.

There were two of us here and the food was incredibly good. The meat in particular was excellent, perfectly seasoned and very tender. The ambience was also very appealing and created a pleasant atmosphere, although the simple wooden tables and benches are not for every taste. The food came very quickly after ordering. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, which made our visit even more pleasant.

We went to chi keng today and didn't think the food was particularly good. Rather bad. We ordered the starter platter and two main courses. The plate disappointed us in terms of taste and appearance as we expected more for the price. Since there were mostly fried dishes and ready-made sauces on the plate, we canceled a main course. We also cannot recommend the chi king curry. The salad on the plate is delicious, the curry underneath is rather bland. Incomprehensible to us for the price. The service employee was friendly and accommodated our changes to the dishes.

We've been to Chi Keng a few times. It is comparatively a bit more expensive than elsewhere. The hot dishes are of good quality and the portions are generous. Last time we had the sushi for 2, we didn't make it. There was a bowl for the soy sauce for everyone, but I was missing something to put down the chopsticks. It would also be good to have an additional plate at your place so that nothing falls into the soy sauce when you take a bite. I messed up my top with splashes. Tip for chopstick beginners: Ask for the take-away chopsticks, the others are too round. We sat outside, the restaurant was moderately busy and there was a lot of friendly service staff around. However, you had to fight to make eye contact so that you could order drinks, for example. Overall, Chi Keng is recommended and we will definitely come back.

Beautiful, spacious, clean and sun-protected terrace. The interior is also impressive: very classy, ​​modern and elegant. The menu is clearly laid out and leaves nothing to be desired for lovers of Vietnamese cuisine. The sushi menu is also impressive. There is no hamachi, but that makes up for the truly outstanding quality of the fish on offer. We ordered various dishes and sushi to share in the middle. Given the prices, I really expected a great cinema and the fact: we were not disappointed! The portions are gigantic but, above all, every dish tastes just right. What balance and finesse! The wheel hasn't been reinvented here, obviously above-average quality products are used here and you can taste it, hats off. The sushi is gigantic and the quality of the fish - as already mentioned - is incredible. The service was very nice, courteous and quick. I would like to give you one warm recommendation: please swap the Smirnoff vodka for a product that matches your level and standard.

I was here on Wednesday evening at 5 p.m. and got a table very easily. Reservation didn't work. Parking spaces can be found in the immediate vicinity. I didn't like the very simple atmosphere. There is nothing comfortable and you sit at long tables on wooden benches. The sushi rolls are nothing special in terms of taste. They are really very big, which is different from others. But there is a really high price to pay for this. It didn't convince me 100%. Just too expensive and lacks ambience.

Best Asian food in a long time!

You sit at long tables on wooden benches (I would describe it as a more stable beer tent set), which I personally don't like at all! The quality of the food is excellent! It is served decoratively on large plates. The sushi rolls are quite large - my girlfriend had to split them with a knife and fork! The service was very friendly. The price level is high!

The food tasted good, but was too oily and in my opinion not appropriate for the price (butterfish). Here you apparently benefit a lot from tourists who don't look too closely. The portions seem very large at first glance (due to the huge plates and bowls), but the actual contents are very manageable.
