Maintenance of the bottom is simple.!!!! The waiters stand and point at another waiter. As I understand it, you have 1 waiter taking orders, others delivering. But how can this be? 🤔 people are waiting to place an order and no one can accept it except 1 waiter! The food is delicious, no questions asked. Please assign all waiters to take orders. Thank you

The Pizza Classica was a real taste challenge. It is to the tongue like a black and white silent film is to the eyes. My friend said the chips he found under the carpet yesterday tasted exactly the same. The waiter preferred to talk to two women instead of serving me. I wanted his number. Oh yes, the restaurant smelled like pizza, hence one star. P.S. the pineapple had been expired for over two years and still tasted better.

The two of us spontaneously went to the Locanda in Würzburg. I share the opinion of some others here when it comes to the ambience: from the outside it looks very good and high quality - from the inside, well. The chairs at our table wobbled and the tables were already very close together. Sitting comfortably was not possible. In addition, the music was a little louder and when we tried to dim the brightness, we sat in complete darkness for a short time. Overall, the restaurant looked like a copy of L'Osteria. The service was fine. There were three service staff and the boss(?) in the restaurant. The boss was sitting at a high table, clearly visible to all guests, and was working. In between, two of the three service staff stopped by and chatted. For dinner, I ordered a Neapolitan pizza and my companion ordered a Salsiccia Piccante pizza. Unfortunately, the base of the normal pizza was still very soft and the Neapolitan pizza was very well baked, but the dough was far too firm and compact for this type of pizza. Locanda is fine for a quick pizza, but we'll look elsewhere next time.

As always, it was pretty good. The service left a lot to be desired. Long wait for orders to be taken. It took too long for the food to arrive and didn't come close to the same time for 3 people. The first one was ready and then the third meal came. We all wanted to order dessert and espresso, but we didn't. Food was excellent, as always. The service still needs to be worked on.

Unfortunately an insert was missing. 1.5 hours waiting time for our food to arrive, my friend's food came another 20 minutes later - with the restaurant not at full capacity and a large number of service staff. Overall a nice restaurant. The pizzas are super big (a lot of pizza is always great) and there is a lot to choose from. The staff is very friendly and pays attention to you, so that nothing is missing. There are deductions in some aspects which are of course also mentioned:a. Unfortunately, the dough as a whole is dry and the Tartufo Pizza simply has 5 mini slices of Tartufo for €22. Unfortunately it otherwise tasted like a good rocket pizza - but of course that's a shame. Overall, still a nice experience. The Serrano pizza had more toppings overall and wasn't as dry :-). Changes only come with an additional charge - which is a shame for allergy sufferers. So it's probably just a bit of bad luck. Nice location & also the possibility to take leftovers with you. But it's not for those on a budget :-).

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience... I wanted to spend about an hour in the pizzeria with a business partner. When I ordered the drinks, I wanted to order the food at the same time. The waitress refused. After 30 minutes we were able to order and after more than an hour the food arrived

I recently visited the Locanda and absolutely loved it! The service was extremely reliable and friendly, you immediately feel welcome. The food was simply outstanding – freshly prepared, full of flavor and with great attention to detail. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients. There is also a very pleasant atmosphere in the entire team, which has a positive effect on the entire experience. It's nice to see how good the working atmosphere is here, which the guests also feel. I can only warmly recommend the Locanda – definitely a 5-star address!

Centrally located Italian restaurant with a good view & fresh stone-oven pizzas that are huge in size! They also have pastas, cocktails etc. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly; great place to enjoy with family :)

Carpaccio frozen, pizza bigger than the plate, but topped like a small pizza piccolino from Wagner, the taste is simply bad. Staff was friendly, tried hard, but not well organized. Food was there before drinks, not recommended. Wine very expensive and warm. Once and never again.

Ordered today for the 4th time and also for the last time!!! All 3 pizzas were partially burnt on the edge and completely rock hard! On the whole pizzas there were 4 slices of salami, a slice of ham and a few mushrooms and hardly any cheese! The otherwise good, thin floor was partly with holes today, of course also black, he was so thin! You can't give something like that out!! At the table I would have let her go back!!! The pizzas are expensive, now almost 7 euros more via eats, nope, that was our last time!!! Very disappointing!!! There are also other pizzerias in Würzburg!!

We were eating in a group of 11 people. The first person got their food after 45 minutes. The last person got their food after over 1.5 hours! It doesn't seem possible to have food served at the same time. According to other reviews, this doesn't seem to be a one-off. It seems to be a business model to work with chronic understaffing. Didn't give a tip. I feel sorry for the staff, they are probably not responsible for the unfortunate situation. One can only hope that they make the jump to another employer.

A telephone reservation is an advantage. I particularly like the mezzo mezzo pizza offering, where you can choose between two different toppings. It's also no problem ordering a pizza and a "robber's plate" for two.

When it comes to the food, I really can't understand the hype. My pizza was really sparsely topped and not really flavorful. The rim was very large - probably to save even more topping. The service made mistakes, which is why our two pizzas arrived at the table at a clearly delayed time. As a courtesy we were offered free tea. However, the additional charge for the change was charged. We were there on a Thursday evening. It was relatively quiet and the volume was pleasant.

Unfortunately there was an incorrect monthly menu in my menu, so I ordered a pizza that was no longer available. The service employee noticed it when my companion's pizza was ready and served...🙄 So we couldn't eat together and I had to choose an alternative, for which I also had to pay an extra charge for the change as a courtesy. The pizza arrived sparsely topped. All in all, the service and food were a flop!!! The ambience was nice and appropriate. Since we were there during the week, it wasn't too loud even though some places were occupied.

Unfortunately it was my last visit! I ordered a side salad, the cucumbers on it were half rotten, and the salad also only consisted of stalks, already pink in places, as if organic waste had been dumped on it! Canned corn, not very tasty either… Dressing? Ok, as we all know, taste can be debated. I then said that the salad wasn't okay and the cucumbers were already bad. This was also noted, but I was also allowed to pay for this organic waste in full at €8.50! No price concessions, no espresso or similar as an excuse. An absolute no go for me!

We went to the restaurant as a family (3 people) on December 26th without a reservation. We ordered and my husband received his food. My daughter and I had to wait at least 10 minutes for our food to arrive. When I asked the waitress why we had to wait so long, she said there was a separate section where the food was prepared, so the food came at different times. I've never had anything like that in one Experienced restaurant. Also, if this is really the case, let the customer know. Later, another employee said they were understaffed. Which is fine and can happen, but they should have told us when we came in. We would understand that. But just saying nothing isn't possible.

Booking a table is no longer of any value here, you still wait 20 minutes for your table. The food is then quite good (the bottom of the pizza was already well burned)... As long as the waitress is careful to ensure that you have something to drink. Our waitresses were very busy, sometimes a bit confused. But honestly, with the stress that prevails here, it's no wonder... In the summer on the terrace there is a beautiful view over the Main 😊

Where do I start? Overall, the visit was okay, but I was pretty dissatisfied with the service. On the one hand, she didn't take my order correctly: I ordered a Cola Zero, but I got a normal Cola. Not bad per se, but it was still annoying. I then asked the waitress for the bill because I had to leave our group early. She said, yes, I'll come right away. Well, it took almost 15 minutes until I couldn't make it in time and my colleague took over the bill for me so that I could keep my follow-up appointment. About the food: Not bad per se, but I ordered a ham and salami pizza and felt like I got a margarita. Given the size of the pizza, it's a bit weak, I have to say.

It is better to pay special attention to the distinction between the Roman (large, thin) and Neapolitan variants (mini, still lots of dough). I've had the pulled pork in the Roman version before, but the pizza with its small dimensions and few toppings was a huge disappointment yesterday. The cool version is no longer on the menu. However, they state it on the homepage... Transparency okay, 1/3 less dough (amount identical to the "larger" pizza) or just Neapolitan again & more ingredients on the pizza would be appropriate given the high price. The fact that the pizza was lukewarm didn't help. If there is a next time, I will definitely CHECK the temperature BEFORE accepting the Locanda's pizzas.

Disappointing once again and therefore my last visit. It's always the same problems: We were there on time for our reservation. We still had to wait 20 minutes in the entrance area until someone asked us to our table. It took another 30 minutes for our food order to be taken. Two (!) meals were completely forgotten at our table and my pasta wasn't cooked al dente. Our food at the table arrived so late that some had already eaten while others were still waiting for their food. Wrong orders (drinks and food) were delivered to our table several times during our stay. At the beginning we were also informed that we would have the table available for at least 3 hours. After 2 hours (including 20 minutes waiting time in the entrance area + waiting time for service/food) we were told that we had to clear the table in 20 minutes. Absolutely disappointing both in terms of food and service. *Update: I consulted with the entire group and, contrary to what the operator described in the response, we were not offered coffee to make up for the two dishes we had forgotten. This is not true and the forgotten food was accepted as such by the service. It is a shame that the time available to us at the table was not properly communicated. It should also be noted that due to the longer waiting time, there was less time available at the table anyway. We were told at 8:05 p.m. that we should please vacate the table by 8:30 p.m. (and the waitress also noted that we should allow at least 15 minutes for payment). At the beginning of our stay we actively asked the service whether there was a limit. Nothing was specified here. It is true that the operator informed us afterwards (around 8:25 p.m.) that we could now stay because another table had become available. We politely declined this.

Never again! I'm sorry to leave a bad review, but having to wait over an hour for the food because the restaurant has prepared almost 30 pizzas for delivery and then finding plastic in the pasta is not only inadequate, it's DISGUSTING! We got to the restaurant on time and there was a huge queue waiting for us - guest coordination doesn't really work. Waiting times of 20 minutes for a reserved (!) table. When I made the reservation, I was told that the table would only be available until 8 p.m. - no problem, but then I want to get to my table on time. The food was delicious, there is nothing like that. The waiting times for food are too long. The pizza we ordered came first, followed by the salad we ordered more than 10 minutes later. We actually wanted to eat together. Unfortunately, the dessert we ordered was no longer available - we waited 15 minutes for the answer that the dessert was out. The staff was very friendly, seemed relaxed, there was no rush - I found that positive. Unfortunately, the organization and processes are not good. When you read through the other reviews, these criticisms are not new - it's nice if you always answer "thanks for the tip, that helps us to improve" - ​​save the answer and change something!

We just ate some of our take-away order. Pizza 1/2 marinara, 1/2 capperi was ok. Children's portion of pasta with ham cream sauce was ordered with spaghetti instead of penne - we still got penne. Not bad, but some of the ham was completely burnt black! It probably doesn't work at all. Unfortunately you couldn't eat, I complained about it including pictures on Facebook, no response. Disappointing. Bruschetta were ok. Caesar salad dressing was way too sweet for our taste!

We were at the Locanda restaurant and ordered a pizza. Since we avoid pork, we specifically asked whether the ham on the pizza came from beef. We were confirmed that it was beef. In the end, however, it turned out that the ham was pork after all. This is not only disappointing, but also disrespectful to the customers and their religion. This kind of behavior is disgusting and completely unprofessional. If you need precise information, you should think carefully about whether you want to eat here. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant. Very unfortunate :(

I really don't understand the hype. The dishes all tasted bland, the atmosphere is loud and stressful, you are just dismissed and special requests are not taken into account. Yes, the pizzas are huge, but that's not even a good thing when you have a huge piece of dough that is sparsely topped and tastes like almost nothing. Please add salt and spices to your food.

Ambiete is very nice, especially outside. Pizza is good, but today I had pasta. And they were the worst I've had in a very long time. Simple and tasteless. To make matters worse, it took a long time.

Unfortunately quite a bit of chaos and service so-so... We (4 people) had reserved for 6 p.m. and we weren't assigned a place until around 6:25 p.m. Drinks were consumed quite quickly and three juice spritzers were available after just a few minutes. The fourth spritzer as well as the Wildberry Lillet and a cocktail took over 20 minutes to arrive. Food was then taken in and was also served fairly quickly. The portions were decent, but the toppings were very sparse, at least for the half truffle pizza (other half salmon) and half falafel pizza (other half tuna). It felt like there were only 3-4 crushed falafel balls on half of the falafel and only 3-4 slices of truffle on half of the truffle pizza... A pretty steep price for that. The salad and the pizza special were well topped, as were the other two halves with tuna and salmon. As soon as we had finished eating, we were asked to vacate the table and go to one of the bar tables at the bar, as the reservation had unfortunately been "miscalculated".... Well, nice as we are, we followed the staff's request. We were each offered a schnapps on the house as compensation, which we gladly accepted. However, we had to wait a good 15 minutes for it. When the staff asked about the partly sparsely topped pizza, we only received a succinct answer that the ingredients, especially the truffles, were expensive and therefore had to be counted... Saying that to the guest's face is a bit cheeky, especially since the pizza is not exactly cheap at well over €20...

We were there with a larger group with a reservation. We were first taken to the basement bar because our table wasn't free. We were allowed to pay for our own drinks while waiting. After 45 minutes of waiting and repeated inquiries, we were brought to our table. The service is wildly disorganized, the pizzas are large but extremely thin, and the salads are a bad joke for the price. Overall, the premises are a bit unkempt and very noisy for a restaurant.

We were there last night with a reservation (a week in advance) for 3 people at 7 p.m. on time and had to wait 20 minutes for a table 🙁 we didn't think it was that great and next time if we come at all, you can save yourself the reservation. ..too bad

We ordered online immediately after the delivery service opened, delivery time was given as 55 minutes. When the food wasn't there after almost 90 minutes, I called and was told the driver would be there in 5 to 10 minutes. That turned into another 20 minutes. We waited 1.75 hours for 2 portions of pasta and a pizza, the pizza was cold. There was also a single ball of mozzarella on the caprese half and an olive. The noodle portions were so small that we had to eat something else afterwards. 2 stars for the food because it was still delicious despite the temperature, but honestly: you're not cheap and the delivery time and condition are really a disgrace. Next time we'll cook ourselves.

The decorations on the wall were dusty and there were cobwebs on the walls. The toilets were also pretty dirty. In summary, it was a disappointing experience for us that we will not repeat. Unfortunately, there are many comments similar to mine here, but people seem to prefer to comment on every review instead of actually actively working on the problems - what a shame!

Huge and delicious pizza for a regular price!

The pumpkin soup was incredibly delicious!! The price-performance ratio is slowly no longer consistent, the pizza tasted good but was quite dry. Small note: I would find it easier if the pizza was sliced. There was a drag at our place because the front door was open, the chairs were also very uncomfortable, no cushions. The table was too small for two giant pizzas. The elevator smelled unpleasant and was dingy. The highlight, however, was the disabled toilet: it smelled strongly of urine and you could only breathe out of your mouth. The changing mat was yellowed. I find it very unfortunate. The service employee was very great!

It was the afternoon and not very busy. When the two of us entered the restaurant, we waited a relatively long time until we were assigned a table - even though there was nothing going on inside. Most of the staff sat at the bar - some with food or drinks - and people also seemed to be there "visiting" to hang out with the staff. Accordingly, they had little desire to serve us. Totally strange when you go to eat in a restaurant where half the staff hangs around the bar as if they were guests. I don't know of any store where this is allowed. However, food was okay. Food delivered to your home: Here my judgment is much worse. Sometimes you really have to wait an eternity for delivery. Very often it happened that ingredients were missing (!) even though you can sometimes book them separately for a fee... or there was so ridiculously little of the corresponding ingredient on the pizza that you really thought about making a complaint send. Overall, the service has really deteriorated. It's a shame - I'll probably think about continuing to order there in the future or stopping by for dinner...

Delicious, huge pizzas! The way they should always be.

I've been there several times and ordered and sometimes it was better and sometimes it was okay, but I've never been as disappointed as I was today. We ordered pizza, instead of the announced delivery time of 1 hour it took 2 hours. The pizza was almost cold, the extras we ordered weren't on the pizza and what's more, it had very few toppings and tasted absolutely unseasoned. In the places where there was no sausage, it tasted like cardboard. I hope the quality and service will improve again to reach previous standards.

Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be. The pizzas are probably recommended. If you feel like doing something different, it's better not to stay at the Locanda. I had a Ceaser Salad, which came about 15-20 minutes before the pizzas. Unfortunately, it was clear that it had been in the fridge for a while. The lettuce leaves were rotten and the tomatoes were also older. I used to always enjoy eating salad. Overall we had to wait a while and the food came at very different times. Maybe we had a bad day but overall the visit was rather disappointing.

We were visiting Würzburg and ate here on a recommendation. Very cozy atmosphere. The service was friendly and quick despite the well-filled dining room. We ordered pizza and were surprised that many people only ordered half a pizza. When we got ours, we knew why. It is huge and the plate was even too small for that 😂. The pizza was freshly prepared and tasted really delicious. Price-performance was absolutely ok. A clear recommendation! Reservation advantageous.

Very complex, delicious, large pizza baked in the wood-fired oven. You can order half or half for smaller appetites. Service and food are excellent. It's best to reserve a spot at peak times.

After a whopping 25 minutes of waiting, we were finally allowed to go to our table, which had been free the whole time. The drink order was taken and delivered quickly, but we then had to wait an incredible 50 minutes for our food. In total, we received our food almost 2 hours after our reservation time, which put us under considerable time pressure because we had an appointment afterwards. The pizzas tasted OK, but were a bit dry. If you want to eat here, you should definitely bring plenty of time. Overall a disappointing experience in terms of service, despite good pizza.
