The service was actually super friendly. The pizza was very good, not overpriced for the prime location on the Main River. Thank you very much. I'll be back.

The best place in Würzburg, delicious food, southern flair, the young waitresses are very attentive and friendly, their relaxed and open manner makes you feel a few years younger. As a guest you are addressed with "du" - really cool, I dare say they would even address the German Chancellor informally, and special requests when ordering are readily accommodated. In conclusion, overall a friendly atmosphere despite Würzburg being a tourist hotspot.

Went there with a school class this year. At first, everything was fine until a rat was spotted searching for food under the tables. Shortly after, a second creature was discovered right next to our table. It was dead, though. The staff were spoken to about it, but they did nothing. The dead rat remained there until the end of our stay. Not a particularly pleasant atmosphere for dining. The other rat was constantly wandering from table to table. Generally, the staff only came to the table to take orders, bring the food, and pay. I would not recommend this restaurant.

The ambiance with a view of the river and the monumental buildings is fantastic. The service is good, but not great. It takes a while for the server to take orders, and the complaint management system could be improved. This brings me to the complaint that only gave it two stars: The pizzas arrived lukewarm, almost cold, at our table, which also meant that the pizzas no longer had any flavor. Unfortunately, the response to this stated shortcoming was, "Oh, I can't comment on that right now."

I've been there several times now, and I've always liked it; the price-performance ratio for such a large pizza and drinks is good. However, the service could be improved. I ate there for lunch this time, and usually in the evening, but even at lunchtime, when it's usually quieter, mistakes happen. Every time, something goes wrong with my pizza; sometimes something else arrives, sometimes the order doesn't reach the kitchen, and other things besides. Regarding the kitchen: They should process orders better and more accurately. Regarding the service: They could come to the table more often and check more often to see if someone wants to pay... Additionally, you have to wait 45 minutes for a takeaway pizza to be ready, even when it wasn't busy... So, the staff and kitchen could definitely improve. The ambiance and the location (quiet and beautiful) are good.

I came to this restaurant with my friends. Everyone has received their orders and I've been waiting for over an hour.

Pizza was very big and tasty. Despite the high number of guests, the staff tried very hard and was friendly to take all wishes into account and to find seating for all guests after a short waiting time. You also have a nice view on the terrace if you get a seat there. Overall a good restaurant and worth a visit!

Complaint about disrespectful and aggressive behavior from staff We visited your pizzeria today and initially ordered a pizza to take away. However, as we were about to leave the place, heavy rain started, so we decided to sit inside. I even politely asked for cutlery as we thought we could eat our pizza inside and also order drinks or cocktails. We didn't want to just sit down and eat the food we brought with us - our plan was to have a drink with you and order more food if necessary. While we were sitting at the table looking through the menu, a waiter with dyed white hair suddenly informed us in an extremely unfriendly and aggressive tone that this table was supposedly reserved - even though we were already sitting there at that point thinking about what we would like to order. A second waiter with curly hair was also present. Both of them spoke to us in a disrespectful tone and we were even threatened with the police if we didn't leave the place immediately. This behavior was completely inappropriate, unprofessional and shameful. Instead of politely informing us about the situation, we were treated like unwelcome guests and were effectively thrown out. Dealing with customers like this is unacceptable in the restaurant industry. We had intended to have a pleasant evening, but your staff completely spoiled it for us with their behavior. I call on you to clarify this behavior internally and take appropriate action. Otherwise, I will be forced to contact rating platforms and, if necessary, the responsible authorities.

Complaint about rude behavior from staff We came to your pizzeria today, ordered a pizza for delivery and actually wanted to sit comfortably with you, have a drink and order more food. Waited 1 hour for drinks and 2 hours for a normal pizza. That doesn't work at all. The staff is poorly organized and somewhat haphazard. Unfortunately we won't be going to this restaurant anymore.😖😖😖

Always been satisfied. Food delicious! However, the pizza arrived 15 minutes later than the pasta. We also specifically asked for a place in the shade because I'm very sensitive to the sun. We got this too, but then had to slide away because the one next to the table wanted an extra chair and so we ended up completely in the sun with no shade at all! Service didn't even ask if that was okay.

We were there for dinner yesterday afternoon on the bank holiday: basically, of course, a very nice place (terrace)! The pizzas are very large (you can share if you're hungry). Prices for the pizzas are very high! Unfortunately the service doesn't really work! 20 minutes until you get your drink, my pasta arrived after an hour (after the pizza) - hot on the inside - almost cold on the outside - apparently it had been waiting for a while until it was brought 😐 Several times the staff ran around with food and drinks, somewhat haphazardly. The ambience is very nice. There were four of us there. Unfortunately, the pizza came well before the salads and antpasti. Drink delivery was also very slow. The salad was ok. Lettuce leaves were limp and the portion was manageable for the price.

I was here during the convention center's lunch break. Unfortunately I had to wait almost an hour for a salad and water. So I missed a lecture 😕Some participants nearby also decided to leave. It's a shame because the Cesare salad tasted really good 👍😃. I would have liked some pizza bread with it but that didn't happen. I would have given 5 stars for the ambience, but unfortunately the terrace was full or the tables had already been reserved. The employees were nice but rather stressed and not attentive. We were there twice, the first time the pizza was good, then we were there again and the pizza was a disaster, dry, hardly any toppings..... the inside also urgently needs to be renovated, such different quality is not possible. I would have given 5 stars for the first pizza

Pizza special for €16.90 Onions were empty. Wasn't that bad... But very, very loosely documented. I have to say that we ordered shortly after 10 p.m. But that shouldn't affect the quality and quantity..

As soon as I took my seat, the countdown of my slow decline began: it took 35 minutes before anyone even noticed my starving look and deigned to take my order. At least I had time to study the menu in detail - theoretically I could have crocheted the table decorations in this time. But the real highlight: 40 minutes after I sat down, my drink finally arrived. When it came to food, things became biblical. You can summarize it briefly: After an hour and thirty minutes, I was chosen as the chosen one and was finally presented with a plate. Shockingly, I am one of the few survivors of my table. Many of our fellow competitors starved to death halfway through and unfortunately had to be left behind. In their commemorative speeches we will talk about how it simply took too long for the kitchen to graciously swing the spoons and pans. It is rumored that if you want to dine here, you should bring a tent and enough provisions. Conclusion: An interesting facility to train your mental endurance. However, if you're expecting a hot meal in the foreseeable future, you're probably better off at a 24-hour branch somewhere on the highway.

I really don't understand the hype. The dishes all tasted bland, the atmosphere is loud and stressful, you are just dismissed and special requests are not taken into account. Yes, the pizzas are huge, but that's not even a good thing when you have a huge piece of dough that is sparsely topped and tastes like almost nothing. Please add salt and spices to your food. Two of us were there around lunchtime on a Saturday. The appetizer (bushetta) arrived quickly, but it wasn't good at all. The tomatoes were very watery and flavorless. The bread was soggy. The whole thing was refrigerator-cold. We waited 50 minutes for our main course, including asking when the food would be coming. We had both only ordered a pasta dish, which was supposed to be quick. When paying (€44.46), I didn't leave a tip. Instead of giving them a proper tip, I received 0.50 cents with the rude comment, "I don't have any cash." Service was poor, but the food, apart from the appetizer, was good.

I was greeted and served very friendly. In general, catering prices have risen sharply. The pizza cost over €20 and the cake was also quite expensive for its size, but everything was delicious and I felt welcome.

So first let me tell you about the good: The location is perfect by the river with a large stone building and a vast terrace. The atmosphere is relaxed, inside somewhat modern vibes, very spacious. Now the bad: Service. Being ignored for the bill for over half an hour, even with kind reminders from ourselves, it’s a no go. Service was surely not even close to be busy. Also it seems there are too many young kids working, which don’t look like they are used to work ethics. Get some professional waiters! Yes they cost more but are worth the buck. Next is the pizza. I’m a pizza lover. This place doesn’t seem to love pizza. The pizzas are made over size. Larger than the large plates. Ok. First impression great, we get more pizza for the usual price. Second impression: it’s a dry piece of tasteless bread, almost non existing sauce and few toppings. Quality of the ham and salami is worse than a pizza from a Doner around any corner of the town. All in all I’m very displeased by this pizza experience. Maybe the cooks were hungover or tired but if the standard of the pizzas is this low, I will certainly say it’s been the bottom worst of around 50 pizzerias I dined in 2025. Sorry but not sorry for this bad review, I’m simply truly disappointed.

You have to pay 50 cents for an extra plate. The ambiance, however, is a big plus, as you're sitting right on the Main River. Therefore, we would put up with the unfriendly staff and the long wait again.

The worst pizza I've ever had. I wasn't impressed with the taste. The ingredients didn't taste like they were of high quality. There were 7 of us there and no one was happy. To top it off, the bill only came after 40 minutes despite asking. The only good thing about this restaurant is the waterfront location. That was it.

Super delicious pizzas and appetizers! There were two of us and we sat outside on the terrace. We had a view of the Main and the Marienberg Fortress. The pizzas came to the table warm and the waitresses were regularly there to check whether everything was ok. In summary, we had a very nice evening.

Really poor services!! Waiting to order is usual but you are waiting to order drinks, then waiting again to order food because you can't order them together and then receiving a cocktail which seems to be only club soda. And the waitresses are really arogant and walking pass by you, even though you asked for their attention that was more than 30 minutes ago. The food was ok, but the service was really unprofessional with long waiting time, regardless if you are with a child or not.

We came spontaneously with two small children, and what really impressed us was how child-friendly the entire team was. That was really great! There is a super cheap offer especially for children, which is a huge advantage for families! Our waitress even offered the children to come into the kitchen and watch the pizza being made, which we thought was really sweet. The pizzas are huge. It's a great thing that two people can share a pizza with two different toppings - we think it's a really good idea. However, from our point of view, the quality of the pizza was below average. Maybe we were unlucky, but it was pretty poorly topped. Nevertheless, we would give the restaurant a second chance.

Marwin at reception seemed pleasantly confident to me and made the impossible possible for us. 45 real centimeters of pizza, richly topped and moderate prices are a declaration of war for Berlin and Hamburg, keep it up. It took over two hours until we received the pizza we ordered. The spice was missing. The salad arrived quicker, but unfortunately it was very dry. The accompanying pizza bread arrived two hours later. Despite the excessive demands, unlimited guests were still received. This restaurant thrives on its great location. Quality and service unfortunately poor!!! The toilets weren't clean. The restaurant service staff refilled the paper towels, the trash cans overflowed, and there was no cleaning.

We had dinner with the company. The pizzas are okay. But way too big and cold before you finish eating. Half a pizza is completely sufficient. The wooden chairs are not in particularly good condition.

The food at the Locanda wasn't great, but still very tasty. The pizzas are impressive because of their size, but they are very thin and therefore quite soft on the inside. But the edge was very crispy. Our service was friendly, nice and on point! After we got a table relatively quickly, we were able to order drinks and food directly. It took a while for the food to arrive, but that's to be expected in a full restaurant on a Sunday evening. There are also children's chairs, but in my opinion due to their size they are more suitable for children aged around 1 year. There is an extra children's card, which also has coloring pictures and questions on the inside. We were also given enough pens to bring to our place. Unfortunately, what really disappointed me was the very unclean (women's) toilets! Not a single one was really clean. The trash can for paper towels was overflowing, creating a pile on it and next to it. Something like that doesn't work! All in all, I would visit the restaurant again!

Yes, it was busy, but our table was completely ignored, even though we were sitting in the middle of the restaurant, where waiters were walking all the time. It was always just said, same, same. One my go to places if I crave pizza 🍕 just give it a try!! It’s a must go in summer as the outside sitting area offers the best view and in all other season inside is also very warm and cozy. All the waiters and waitresses were very polite and friendly:)

Maintenance of the bottom is simple.!!!! The waiters stand and point at another waiter. As I understand it, you have 1 waiter taking orders, others delivering. The Pizza Classica was a real taste challenge. It is to the tongue like a black and white silent film is to the eyes. My friend said the chips he found under the carpet yesterday tasted exactly the same. The waiter preferred to talk to two women instead of serving me. I wanted his number. Oh yes, the restaurant smelled like pizza, hence one star. P.S. the pineapple had been expired for over two years and still tasted better.

The two of us spontaneously went to the Locanda in Würzburg. I share the opinion of some others here when it comes to the ambience: from the outside it looks very good and high quality - from the inside, well. The chairs at our table wobbled and the tables were already very close together. Sitting comfortably was not possible. In addition, the music was a little louder and when we tried to dim the brightness, we sat in complete darkness for a short time. Overall, the restaurant looked like a copy of L'Osteria. The service was fine. There were three service staff and the boss(?) in the restaurant. The boss was sitting at a high table, clearly visible to all guests, and was working. In between, two of the three service staff stopped by and chatted. For dinner, I ordered a Neapolitan pizza and my companion ordered a Salsiccia Piccante pizza. Unfortunately, the base of the normal pizza was still very soft and the Neapolitan pizza was very well baked, but the dough was far too firm and compact for this type of pizza. Locanda is fine for a quick pizza, but we'll look elsewhere next time.

As always, it was pretty good. The service left a lot to be desired. Long wait for orders to be taken. It took too long for the food to arrive and didn't come close to the same time for 3 people. The first one was ready and then the third meal came. We all wanted to order dessert and espresso, but we didn't. Food was excellent, as always. The service still needs to be worked on.

Unfortunately not a good experience today. Food tasted good as always. Unfortunately an insert was missing. 1.5 hours waiting time for our food to arrive, my friend's food came another 20 minutes later - with the restaurant not at full capacity and a large number of service staff. Toilet facilities were very dirty and the light was broken.

Very good starter, pizza, tagliatelle and dessert, excellent service and warm environment. I highly recommend it.

Overall a nice restaurant. The pizzas are super big (a lot of pizza is always great) and there is a lot to choose from. The staff is very friendly and pays attention to you, so that nothing is missing. There are deductions in some aspects which are of course also mentioned:a. Unfortunately, the dough as a whole is dry and the Tartufo Pizza simply has 5 mini slices of Tartufo for €22. Unfortunately it otherwise tasted like a good rocket pizza - but of course that's a shame. Overall, still a nice experience. The Serrano pizza had more toppings overall and wasn't as dry :-). Changes only come with an additional charge - which is a shame for allergy sufferers. So it's probably just a bit of bad luck. Nice location & also the possibility to take leftovers with you. But it's not for those on a budget :-).

Thank you very much for the great hospitality. I had chosen a pizza with spicy salami and was very happy with my choice. Kudos goes to the very courteous (blonde with tattoos) service lady. Attentive and in a good mood, she conveys her skills to the guests. You felt welcome here very quickly. Many many thanks

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience... I wanted to spend about an hour in the pizzeria with a business partner. When I ordered the drinks, I wanted to order the food at the same time. The waitress refused. After 30 minutes we were able to order and after more than an hour the food arrived

I recently visited the Locanda and absolutely loved it! The service was extremely reliable and friendly, you immediately feel welcome. The food was simply outstanding – freshly prepared, full of flavor and with great attention to detail. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients. There is also a very pleasant atmosphere in the entire team, which has a positive effect on the entire experience. It's nice to see how good the working atmosphere is here, which the guests also feel. I can only warmly recommend the Locanda – definitely a 5-star address!

Centrally located Italian restaurant with a good view & fresh stone-oven pizzas that are huge in size! They also have pastas, cocktails etc. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly; great place to enjoy with family :)

Carpaccio frozen, pizza bigger than the plate, but topped like a small pizza piccolino from Wagner, the taste is simply bad. Staff was friendly, tried hard, but not well organized. Food was there before drinks, not recommended. Wine very expensive and warm. Once and never again.

Unfortunately the waiting time is very long, we have 20 minutes. Waited for drinks, which we were able to order after we asked twice. Eating, unfortunately, I manage it better at home. I also had to make several inquiries when paying. Never again
