I wanted to go out for a meal, went there once, and never again! I've never seen such a rude and disrespectful waiter anywhere. Never again!

The food was delicious, but if the plates were warm, the pizza wouldn't get cold so quickly. Perhaps consider pre-warming the plates. Unfortunately, the women's restroom left much to be desired. There was no hand paper, the trash cans were overflowing, the toilet seat was loose and kept shifting, and the floor wasn't clean. We had received a complimentary three-course meal, so we only had to pay for the drinks.

The waitress with white hair was very rude.She threw the plate and juice on the table. She was rude to me because I spent 10 minutes choosing food instead of 5. I also wanted to exchange the juice, which was unopened, and she immediately became rude. When I paid for the food, she threw the change on the table.The prices ar okay. Friendly staff and the food was tasty.

We like to take a short break here during our stroll through the city and watch the passersby. In the summer, amidst the hustle and bustle, we enjoy sitting in the arcade. The staff are all very friendly and great with children. Almost all the customers are regulars.

The food is okay. Nothing special. The staff are very unfriendly. The order was incorrect. A solution offered was later withdrawn. The blame for the incorrect delivery was placed on Lieferando and the customer. It seems unprofessional. Looking at the reviews, it's probably not an isolated incident. I won't be eating here again.

The food was okay. We were brought a small pizza even though we ordered a large one, and an arrabbiata with bacon even though we wanted it without. The kicker is that they still charged us for the large pizza and didn't give us a bill. No matter how you calculate it, we were overcharged by at least €3-4. And apparently, this is standard practice there, as two other tables had the same problem. Outrageous!

It was our first time there. The first thing we noticed was the location – bright and spacious. Then the staff arrived, also incredibly friendly. And then came the food. We had pasta and pizza. Both were absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes were just right for us. I highly recommend it.

I ate here today – and quite honestly, it was a complete disaster. The portions are tiny, so small that after finishing your plate, you feel like you've just grabbed a taster. The drinks? Overpriced beyond belief, and they're not even freshly mixed, just simple bottled and canned drinks. It couldn't be more outrageous. The dishes are improvised because ingredients are missing – and unfortunately, you can taste it. Nothing seems planned, nothing tastes fresh, it's all just a cobbled-together "we'll manage somehow." Spoiler alert: It doesn't. Overall: a complete catastrophe. I really can't recommend eating here to anyone.

The selection and quality of the food is exceptionally high. My pizza (Little Italy) was fantastic; amazing dough, great toppings in just the right proportions. The spaghetti carbonara was unfortunately a bit bland and the pasta wasn't al dente. Still delicious, though. The tiramisu was the highlight, just like Mom used to make. The service was very attentive and fast, excellent. The decor is okay, but some parts could use updating. Overall, well worth a visit with very good value for money 👍🏻

The food was truly awful. I had a simple margarita pizza. The crust was soft, the tomato sauce was more like tomato juice, and the cheese was so thick it was more cheese than pizza. The pasta carbonara was burnt pasta with a bit of bacon, and the egg was already fried. The bruschetta was just burnt bread with a little sunflower oil and tasteless tomato. The service was disinterested and happy if you didn't ask a question. I'm glad we were helped quickly, because I wouldn't have wanted to sit there for more than half an hour. What a waste of time.

I've been here several times, and unfortunately, there have been problems with the order every time. For example, I ordered a pasta dish with macaroni, but the food was penne with pepperoni – so the macaroni and pepperoni were swapped. Another dish was served with spinach, even though it had been specifically ordered without spinach. The dishes also didn't arrive at the same time, so one of them was already cold by the time the other finally arrived. The incorrect order also led to a loud argument between the kitchen and the waitress, which could be heard throughout the restaurant. It seems anything but professional. So far, we haven't had a single order executed correctly. This seems to be especially problematic for special requests like "without spinach." I therefore strongly advise against ordering with customized options. The food was okay. No wow factor, but it's edible.

I've been there so many times now, and I'm always impressed. The ambiance, as seen in the photos, looks really beautiful and stylish. The food is truly delicious, and the staff are always friendly. It's truly a fantastic restaurant that I highly recommend.

Two of us went to this restaurant today, and unfortunately, it was a very bad experience. Although there weren't many customers, the waiter (around 40 years old) was extremely rude. He seemed annoyed and was reluctant to answer any questions. Additionally, we had left our cell phone in the restaurant. When we went back to get it, the waiter made a wry remark: "Oh, you two?" – that was disrespectful and completely unprofessional. Very disappointing – I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant.

...we were shopping in Dortmund when we got hungry. After studying some menus from other restaurants, we stumbled upon "Little Italy" more by chance. The ambiance fits the name...anyone who's ever eaten "simple" food in Italy knows what I'm talking about...but that's not meant to be derogatory at all, just charming. The food (pizza, pasta) and drinks were first-class, the price was truly sensational, and the service was excellent (...and it looks good, too 😉) My next visit to Dortmund will definitely be accompanied by a feeling of hunger...see you again then. The restaurant is just okay. Food is very basic — the tomato soup was fine, but the pizza was really bad. I asked for double cheese, and it came with almost no cheese at all. Service was poor. The woman who served us was unfriendly, didn’t bring salt and pepper, and when I asked for cheese to add to the soup, I had to wait 15 minutes. She finally brought it and just threw it on the table. Not a good experience overall.

We spontaneously chose this café or pizzeria today to hold a small meeting. We drank the coffee was delicious. The drinks come from the bottle. What can I say? The service was very friendly and polite. After a while we ordered a large pizza which the three of us shared. It was very tasty as long as you didn't see the toilet. If you extrapolate that to the kitchen, it not only takes your breath away but also your appetite. The word toilet is used in the establishment. Someone could try using some disinfectant to breathe a bit more freshness into the whole thing. Simply disgusting.

The American breakfast is excellent. I'm a fan of strong coffee, and this one was particularly strong, with a hint of bitterness. The waitresses, Pascal and his colleague, were very attentive to their guests. The location is a bit of a "hotspot," and you often get visitors at your table. No one needs to go hungry in Germany! Both pizzas were partially burnt on the bottom. The sauce was okay. The cheese tasted like cheap Gouda. Regarding the toppings: The seafood pizza had 2 shrimp and about 4-5 seafood pieces on it. The little Italian pizza was ordered without ham, but instead had corn and onions. Firstly, tomatoes, mozzarella, and Grana Padano were garnished raw after baking. And then there was balsamic vinegar on the pizza as if it were a salad. My conclusion: I've eaten better frozen pizzas. They should definitely get a new recipe. The service is top-notch. Keep up the good work.

The pizza I had at Little Italy in Dortmund was a little different than I expected. We ordered 3x penne Bolognese with gratin and 1x penne with salmon. Everything arrived in about 10 minutes, fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The salmon portion could have used a bit more fish – but otherwise: great! The drinks arrived quickly, the service was friendly, warm, and truly Italian – a pleasant, somewhat older lady from Italy served us. You can immediately tell: there's real passion and experience here. What's particularly positive: 👉 Real Italians still work here – as befits an Italian pizzeria. Unfortunately, these days, you increasingly find so-called "Italian" restaurants where neither the chef nor the recipe is from Italy – often they simply slap an Italian name on the placard, but inside they're nothing but carelessly cobbled-together mass-produced goods by chefs with no connection to Italian cuisine. This is the complete opposite – and that's precisely why it's so valuable! The furniture may be a bit dated, but the things that really matter are spot on: food, service, and atmosphere. 📍 Centrally located in Dortmund's city center – easily accessible, best parking: Karstadt underground parking garage. ✅ Value for money: excellent ✅ Food: delicious and authentic ✅ Service: friendly and welcoming ✅ Owner-managed, not a generic "run-of-the-mill pizzeria" Conclusion: A piece of authentic Italy in the heart of Dortmund. Rude, unprofessional service. Filth everywhere, American breakfast a joke. This place has deteriorated so much. They only survive on walk-in customers thanks to their good location, most of whom will probably never return.

What we saw at the window: two employees in the gap, clearly arguing and losing their temper. We were stunned and continued to observe the situation, whereupon the most unimaginable thing happened to us. The aggressive employee attacked us with gestures and facial expressions and asked if we had a problem... I think I'm crazy!!! After that, the two employees continued to act up.

There were three of us dining and we were overall very dissatisfied. While the food was average, it was still acceptable for the price. What made the visit truly unpleasant, however, was the service: The waiter was unfriendly, spoke to us without making eye contact, and seemed consistently disinterested and unmotivated. Unfortunately, this was far from a professional or even pleasant service experience.

I would give 5 stars for the rudeness and incompetence of the staff. I don't even know where to start talking. When I came in, I just wanted to drink coffee, but I waited for the waiter for about 10 minutes. Went there at lunchtime today. We had to wait a long time even though the waitress saw us. The cola was stale, the worst lasagna I've ever eaten. Hardly any meat, just cheese mush. Despite repeated requests, our food simply wasn't delivered - and there wasn't even an apology. This Little Italy restaurant is cult in Dortmund and has a feel-good factor. In the middle of Dortmund, the Westenhellweg welcomes Hansa Str. The team is super friendly and you immediately feel at home, I think I'm in Italy 😉. Super delicious, freshly prepared food invites you to linger, the baked potato with quark and salad... great, thank you!

I've been going there with my mom for years. Tiramisu is to die for. Just like the pizzas! Always recommended and super tasty. The three of us came here for dinner for the first time. When we arrived we didn't know at first whether we could just sit down somewhere or be assigned a table. Unfortunately, no one responded to us, whether at the counter or from the staff, even though they looked at us. Then we just sat down somewhere. After about 15 minutes the first pizza and rolls arrived, unfortunately it took 10 minutes for the second pizza to arrive, which was really annoying because the first one was almost finished eating. Unfortunately I have to deduct one star here because the points all together are too many to ignore. It's a shame because the pizza and also the rolls with the butter and the sourcream were very tasty and freshly made. The food definitely gets full points. Maybe you can still work on the other things and it will be better the next time you visit.

We found out about this restaurant through Groupon and decided on the 2-person breakfast. We received a very friendly welcome. Super friendly waitresses. For a good price, we were served 2 delicious, crispy rolls, 1 croissant, a coffee drink of our choice, cold cuts, an egg, jam, some salad and a glass of orange juice. The breakfast convinced us. The coffee in particular tasted very good. The restaurant extends over two floors. The decor is colorful and inviting. Cool decorations. There is a large television hanging above the entrance door, which can be easily viewed from the lower and upper floors. There was music playing and overall the place put us in a good mood. The toilets were clean. We would decide to have breakfast here again at any time.

I have been a regular customer for 20 years! I love the food! The noodles, especially the baked ones, and the pizza 🍕 are an absolute blast! The Caesar salad is highly recommended. We've known the staff for years and the team is super nice 😍❤️

If I could give 0 stars I would do this. Salt and pepper are absolutely foreign in this restaurant. We have never eaten so badly in 31 years. Burnt bread from the bruschetta. Tomatoes slapped on it absolutely carelessly. So the chef should definitely change his career! Pizza absolutely carelessly topped and nothing tasted there either. What needs to be praised is the tiramisu, which was ok. Ordered a cola and got a zero version. (were embezzlement!) So whoever tells me that this is a good thing? He's never really eaten well.
