The most delicious and authentic indian food restaurant in Dresden. There were two of us and we took Dal Makhni, Paneer Lababdar, Lacha Paratha, Garlic Naan, and Roohafza. Hot plates were served so that the food can stay hot. They serve different Spice levels for curries and we took level 1 for Dal Makhni & 1.5 for Paneer Lababdar. It was perfect for north indian taste buds. Also, our feedback was taken everytime, hence great service. Highly recommended to visit here whenever in Dresden. Make sure to reserve a table as this restaurant is in high demand due to its authentic indian flavours.

A manageable restaurant with fast and friendly service. We had Chicken Biryani and Batterchicken and were very satisfied. It was extremely well seasoned and generously portioned. We'll definitely be back. 😌

Best meal I've had in a while, I had lamb madras. If you want, you can bring back the leftover sauce. The service was attentive and made sure I'm comfortable when they noticed it's my first time here. Everyone was chatting lively too.

Small, inconspicuous restaurant that we can only recommend. It is located in Dresden's Neustadt and offers an extensive Indian menu. At the beginning there is a greeting from the kitchen and you don't have to rush to eat as you have enough time between the starter and the main course. The food was very tasty and more than sufficient in quantity. The only thing that takes some getting used to is the area in which the restaurant is located. As a woman, I would never go here alone as the area does take some getting used to.

The food is great, I like coming for lunch and am happy about the variety on my thali. 🙏 Ambiance: it's all very nice and kind, but with the endless loop of elevator music (20 seconds of piano in a continuous loop over hours and months) I somehow feel like I'm not being taken seriously or that I'm misunderstood as a guest. The eager owner uses a kind of German-like box. Admittedly, finding music to accompany your meal is tricky, but then maybe it's better not to listen to music? Service: varies depending on the person and the day.

If Malaysians want to eat Indian food, it is not recommended to come here. The spices are not as fragrant as those in Malaysia. Everyone had to order one, but it was impossible to finish it all. There isn't much meat in Quah, so it's not worth going to McD. The store only accepted cash and German credit cards, so I ended up going to the ATM to pay and was charged an exchange rate hahaha.

We were last here 5 years ago. The overall impression has deteriorated significantly. Service (1 star): A meal was served incorrectly. When we ordered two different meals, they wanted to serve us either rice or bread, even though according to the menu there was either a portion of rice or a portion of bread to choose from for each meal. The rice was served in a small bowl. After the portion served was not enough, we were served a second portion upon request, but it was charged extra!!! We sat outside. I noticed the building across the street (from another Indian restaurant) that had an emblem on it that meant it was a cultural monument. I was researching the meaning of this emblem on Google when the slightly older waiter came over to take our order. He asked me to put the phone away. I think he didn't want me to pay attention to the competing restaurant's building!!! While serving the second portion of rice, the same waiter tipped over my bottle of Coke! Food (3 stars) The food was good. However, the basmati rice was either of poor quality or poorly prepared. The familiar, beautiful scent of basmati rice was not noticeable. The portions were sufficient (except rice), but compared to the prices they were smaller than at other Indian restaurants. Ambience (2 stars) The table was placed outside far too close to the entrance of the restaurant, so I was pretty much stuck between the table and the chair. Regarding the service staff: The younger waiter was very courteous and communicative, which cannot be said about his older colleague. All in all, I think it's a shame how the restaurant has deteriorated since our last visit.

The restaurant was extremely accommodating of our large group and offered quick service. We ate outside of the restaurant but never felt under-attended. The owner served us and was extremely nice, funny, and kind - he even took a photo with us! The presentation, quality, and flavor of the food was wonderful, and there’s plenty of variety in dishes. Overall, this was a great experience, and it made my day in Dresden!

We kind of found this place by accident but we are very happy that we did. A big smile welcomed us at the door. As soon as we sat down at our table we were served complementary Papad and sweet and green chutney. They have lot of different dishes to choose from. A lot of vegetarian and vegan options too. A big plus : those were marked very clearly so you didn’t have to read through all the meat options first. Small minus : they don’t serve tap beer or big bottles. But the selection of the drinks is very good. We had one veg dish which was amazing specially the sauce. But we are only giving four stars for food because the lamb biryani didn’t taste like the real biryani. It seems like it was not made quite in the authentic way but rather the ingredients were mixed together shortly before serving. It tasted good but if you are expecting a proper biryani then this is not the dish for you. But they have plenty of other delicious options. Definitely worth a visit. We will come again for sure to try Lamb Kalimiri and other dishes.

Ate very tasty! Chicken and lamb. Small restaurant in the middle of the district. Without reservations it can be difficult. The price was also very good, we paid less than €50 for two people with drinks.

I was in Dresden in May last year and again in January this year. During our vacation in May, I spontaneously went to Little India with my girlfriend and we were lucky to get a place. So: reserve! We enjoyed the food so much that my friend wanted to celebrate her birthday there a few days later. Dishes I recommend: Samosas, Cheese Naan, all Korma, Tikken Masala and Palak dishes. And definitely a lassi as a drink. The experience was so good that I brought a group of friends with whom we were in Dresden in January to the restaurant again. Of course all four of us enjoyed it again!

I came based on a recommendation. The food was okay, but didn't blow me away. The restaurant is small and is reminiscent of a snack bar with seating.

First of all I have to say that I am not German and occasionally have a little problem understanding German. The food was ok. It cost €28 and the waiter told me how much it was in German. We gave him a €50 note and waited for change. He gave me €12 without a word and I waited a few seconds for change. Then he gave me another note for €10. I only write facts and nothing about my personal feelings. I would never come here again.

It is not possible to pay by card from another country.

A fantastic experience in Little India! The entire team, from the owner to the employees, was incredibly nice and accommodating. Although there was initially a small problem with our table reservation, it was resolved quickly and easily. The atmosphere was inviting and the food was simply delicious. By far the best Indian in town! Don't be fooled by the relatively simple furnishings. Although there is no pomp and circumstance here, the food is of high quality. Fresh spices such as cinnamon bark, anise and cardamom can be found in the rice. The dishes taste great and not like the one-size-fits-all that you get served everywhere else. Best Indian restaurant in all of Dresden! Seriously, every time we go here the food and service is absolutely amazing. Food is fresh, portions are generous, the ambiance of the place is very nice. If you’re looking for delicious food, this is the place! And it’s not even that expensive, which is just the cherry on top. An absolute must visit!

The expectations were very high given the many good reviews and it was a good dinner, but a few things weren't right, so only 3 stars: We had 2 curries and 1 naan. The biggest problem was that the curry and rice ratio wasn't right. We were sparing with the sauce, but we ended up with a big pile of rice and a piece of naan, which is just too dry. The vegetables weren't quite as soft as I'm used to. The potatoes and eggplant were somewhere between “still has a bite” and “hard”. But that was still within reason. Otherwise everything tasted good, it was a good evening, but I wouldn't necessarily come back.

Ein sehr schönes schlichtes Indisches Restaurant. Der Herr der uns bediente, kam als erstes mit dem Besteck und zwei Sekunden später mit der Suppe (ich muss raten...Kokos, Ingwer, Schnittlauch...😅, was passiert eigentlich wenn man nichts bestellt 😅? Denn das hatten wir noch nicht - Wir nahmen das Chicken - und das Lamm Thali. Beides war sehr lecker und reichlich.

Wichtig, auf die Anzeige vom Schärfegrad der Speisen achten, 1-3, wobei die "1" immer gesetzt ist. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen und unterhaltsamen Abend. Der Gastgeber war super nett und hatte immer einen lustigen Witz parat. Die Speisen waren sehr lecker und wer es gern extra scharf haben möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Beim nächsten Besuch versuchen wir uns am Schärfegrad 3 oder führen die noch nicht verfügbare Nummer 4 ein.
