Lindengarten in München

We received a flawless, delicious dinner. Very plentiful, with individual dishes perfectly separated in the packaging... and the food was actually still piping hot. We are completely satisfied (and full) and have decided to visit the "Lindengarten" in person as soon as possible.

Can only be recommended! Excellent modern and traditional home cooking with a twist, very good service and the quality is right!

If I am correct, there was a recent change of tenant (as of March 2025). A lot has improved since the new tenant came to the premises. The food (typical for a Bavarian restaurant) is very good: roast pork, schnitzel, kässpätzle, etc. Unfortunately, the beer garden is relatively small compared to classic beer gardens, such as the nearby Franziskanergarten. Therefore the name “Lindengarten” is a bit misleading, because the inn is actually dominant compared to the beer garden. But still: You can eat and drink very well there, so I highly recommend it.

I couldn't have made the duck better. The sauce is great, the staff is nice and they fulfill every wish. Super cool and the apple whiskey, cinnamon, apple juice stuff is awesome. Unfortunately I ate first and then took the photo 🫣🤫

Sensational! For 10 years we have been inviting our customers to eat and celebrate together at a trade fair in January with another company. The boss and employees at the Lindengarten are sensationally on their toes, friendly, flexible, accommodating, and the food and service were once again simply terrific. Our guests were thrilled this time too! Thanks.

Local is definitely recommended. The dishes taste very good, portions are decent, nicely decorated. There is a large selection, dishes made from poultry, pork, game and fish, unfortunately not many beef dishes. Vegetarians will also find something nice. The service is very nice, people are always welcome and small requests (exchanging side dishes or something similar) are never a problem. Ambience is not unusual, typical for Bavarian restaurants, looks clean, including toilet. Since part of the family (parents who are less mobile) live in the area, we come there relatively often to celebrate birthdays and the like. In my opinion - by far the best restaurant in the area.

Quaint location, the first impression is more of a bar or pub. But a look at the menu shows that there is more here, modern food at a good price. We ate very, very well, and the staff was excellent, everything is very well organized here

Large restaurant with adjoining rooms that is showing its age. Down-to-earth cuisine with occasional unusual dishes on the weekly menu. The service staff are friendly and attentive. In summer there is a beautiful beer garden with old chestnut trees. Parking on the streets is extremely difficult or even impossible, especially in the evenings.

You eat very well here. Staff very friendly and attentive. The semolina dumpling soup tastes very good, but one more dumpling wouldn't hurt. Fish with potato and cucumber salad was also very good. Dessert looked good too. Come again.

Yesterday we celebrated our daughter's baptism in the Lindengarten and were/are very excited. The planning was completely uncomplicated, the service was super attentive and the food was delicious :-) Thank you very much and see you soon!

We stopped here completely by chance because the beer garden was on the way to Lake Riem. The service was very friendly and, above all, child-friendly. The kids were thrilled with the wooden toy boat and were very busy. Food and price/performance also good.

Nice decor, very tasteful. Service absolutely top. The food. I can only rate the meat plants. A bit mushy. Why there has to be a gingerbread sauce with this remains a mystery to me. It fits like a glove. But very nicely prepared. Pretty expensive, the store. 16.80 euros for the not so great plants is clearly too much.

The food is of good quality. However, the prices are quite steep. The service is a bit too relaxed. You have to wait a long time to reorder a drink or pay. The many mosquitoes in the beer garden are also annoying.

Splinters of glass in the food Good service and friendly waiters, However, today I had a 2 cm glass splinter in the schnitzel. Luckily I noticed it while chewing. The waiter reacted very professionally and brought me a new schnitzel without any problems. But something like that simply can't happen.

Delicious dinner, large portions. Main course for four people including salad as side dish and drinks about €125. We were seated in a large garden at reasonable distance from the road; traffic noise did not bother us and we could not see it. Toilets are clean.

Despite the bad weather, we received a warm welcome in a super nice rustic atmosphere. The food was not only delicious, but also served very quickly and we also got tips for getting to the Adele concert using public transport. Will come back on the next trip. Thank you dear team.

This was our fourth time eating here (within 3 months). The food is incredibly good and high quality! The pork roast is from the shoulder (low fat) with a great crust! Incredibly nice service! Employees and owners can be proud of what they have achieved! We will be back!

Very nice atmosphere, friendly service and very tasty food! I ordered the ox meat in horseradish sauce with parsley potatoes and was not disappointed! The meat was very tender and the flavor was well balanced with the sauce. The potatoes were cooked to perfection, heavenly!

The waitress was pushing at first and wanted to take the order before you even took a look at the menu. Food came very quickly. After that it was almost impossible to get the waiter back to the table to order more drinks.

We love the linden garden! The food is always fantastic and what we have to praise every time is the friendliness of the staff! We were there spontaneously on Saturday and we got a place in the next room due to an (almost) closed party - which was totally fine for us, after all we hadn't made a reservation and there was a huge party there. Nevertheless, we were offered a table and we were so happy. We two adults and our 2 year old son. Despite the full house, the waitresses were so friendly, quick and accommodating, it's amazing! Even on “normal” days :-) We still love coming! It should also be mentioned that we pre-ordered two ducks for Christmas, which we then finished at home on Christmas Eve - they were fantastic too! Thank you and see you soon!

Much more than just a restaurant with a beer garden: a place of comfort, conversation, good food, meeting friends, etc. Extremely nice and committed waitresses, where you can tell that they enjoy their job and do their utmost to satisfy their guests. In addition, Cilli, Marion, Peter and the other employees simply spread joy and happiness! The innkeeper has really succeeded in creating a place of comfort, with an almost family atmosphere, to which you will always enjoy going to recharge your batteries, to enjoy good food or just to switch off! We visited the Lindengarten on the evening of December 9th, 2023. The food was delicious and didn't take long to arrive. Our waiter was also very personable and always attentive. We'd love to come back.

I ate roast pork, the meat with crust was very good. Plenty, good potato dumplings. Only the sauce wasn't suitable for roast pork. Nevertheless, the food was good. Starter: pumpkin cream soup ×××××stars I will come back The service 5×××××

Was jedoch wirklich herausragend war, ist die außergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit des Personals. Vom Moment meiner Ankunft bis zu Abschied fühlte ich mich herzlich willkommen und gut umsorgt. Das gesamte Team war stets aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und hatte immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen. Es war eine wahre Freude, von solch einem herzlichen und professionellen Personal umgeben zu sein. Alles in allem kann ich das Lindengarten in Trudering nur wärmstens empfehlen. Das Essen ist exzellent und das Personal ist einfach unschlagbar freundlich. Wir hatten uns im Biergarten unter den Linden einen schattigen Platz gesucht. Fast alle Tische liegen im Schatten. Der Schweinebraten mit Kartoffelknödel wurde in Dunkelbiersauce serviert. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Gerne werden wir wieder hier einkehren.

Es war alles gut und sehr schöner Biergarten, nur ist die Aussage beim bezahlen, Woche gleich folgt nicht nachvollziehbar. "Sie können nur mit EC Karte bezahlen oder Bar und Bar ist mir lieber" zum einen, warum keine Kreditkarten, es gibt die viele Abrechnungssysteme die nicht mehr ein Vermögen verlangen bei Kreditkarten Zahlung und die Vorgabe nur EC Karte... Die wird gerade von den meisten Banken abgeschafft und gibt es eigentlich schon seit Jahren nicht mehr!

Lecker frisch und freundlich, cooler lindengarten, leider etwas teurer als zb. Tegernsee Brauhaus, aber es ist halt München....

Schön gelegenes Restaurant mit tollem Biergarten. Der Service war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Speisekarte bietet bayrisches/lokales Essen mit ausreichendem Getränkeangebot. Zusätzlich können einige Cocktails/Drinks bestellt werden. Die Karte hält dazu auch spezielle und ansprechende, saisonale Angebote bereitet. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Demnach sind auch die etwas höheren Preise angebracht. Da sind gut und gerne mal 40€ pro Person drin. Dennoch vielen Dank für den schönen Abend!

In der heutigen Zeit ist es schwierig etwas besonderes zu finden. Hier haben wir etwas BESONDERES! Nicht nur das Ambiente sonder auch die Bedienung waren richtig Klasse! Das Essen war absolut top!!! Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder!!!!!

Super lecker, eine tolle Speisekarte mit vielen Gerichte, wo eins besser klingt, als das andere. Und das zu einem spitzen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Absolut empfehlenswert.
