Linde in Offenburg

An absolutely fantastic restaurant – we give it 5 stars, without a doubt! We visited on our way home from our vacation in Spain and were more than pleasantly surprised. The dishes are fresh and homemade; you can simply taste the quality. The buttery beef cheeks, the schnitzel, and the homemade spaetzle are particularly recommended – simply fantastic! They also cater to families: children are given their own children's cutlery, which I think is really great. The service is very friendly, attentive, and creates a pleasant atmosphere. Even during the week, the restaurant is busy, which, to me, is a clear sign of how popular it is – and quite rightly so! We will definitely be back and can highly recommend it to everyone.

The Linde in Weier isn't just a restaurant, an inn, or a village pub. It's an institution. And it has been for decades, or rather, for over 120 years. Rainer and Alexandra Werner took over Horst "Eckel" Werner's legacy many years ago and developed it further. Meanwhile, their son Valentin has also returned to the kitchen in Weier after completing his training as a chef in fine dining; so hopefully, the successor is already secured. What can I say? The food and the quality of the products are outstanding. The service is top-notch, and the feel-good factor is wonderful. The value for money is almost unbeatable. We always enjoy coming back to the Linde, where I was also able to celebrate my 60th birthday in 2024 with many guests. At this point, I'd like to express my sincere gratitude on behalf of many very satisfied guests. A side tip: The "Linde" inn, which has been family-owned since 1900, has been more than just good friends with top winemaker Andreas Männle from beautiful Durbach for many decades. That's why, for example, Männle's Pinot Gris, an absolute top-quality wine, is available by the glass for a small price. This, too, is a unique selling point. The only minor drawback: the decor and furnishings could use an upgrade. But that's completely irrelevant overall. The Linde is very popular, and not just with the people of Weier. Therefore, a table reservation a few days in advance is recommended.

Traditional restaurant with good German cuisine, attentive service in the 80s dining room. 8 friends were all satisfied. Gladly again.

Truly delicious food with incredibly friendly staff! We had a medical emergency at our table, and they immediately selflessly helped us with advice and assistance! The food was consistently very good, what you would call "good, home-style" cooking. Nevertheless, there were some beautifully created dishes on the menu, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The ambiance is like that of a typical village inn, but that's precisely what makes it so cozy and makes you feel at home. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back!

Simply a truly fantastic restaurant! Five of us came here for lunch because the restaurant was practically on our way home and had such good reviews. What can I say: We were not disappointed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We are so impressed with the service, the food, the absolutely fair prices, and the restaurant itself that we can easily imagine coming back here anytime – whenever we're in the area. On the way home from vacation, we spontaneously decided to have dinner at the Linde thanks to the previous recessions. The food was delicious, very tasty, beautifully presented and great portions at absolutely reasonable prices. Good middle-class family business, highly recommended. Tip: we were traveling by car and caravan, good parking nearby and conveniently located near the motorway.

One of the best meals in the region! Four of us ate, everyone had a different dish - they were all very tasty!! Nice attentive service! We'd love to come back!

Yesterday evening we had our fortnightly skat evening again in the Linde in Weier. In addition to playing skat, it is also common to eat something. I ordered the beef steak with green pepper, croquettes and market vegetables. I don't think there is anything better in Offenburg and the surrounding area. It was just perfect. Beautifully prepared, pink inside and super tender. Unfortunately, at a table next to us there were a bunch of older women (and a man who could make you feel sorry for them) who were talking very loudly and animatedly before and after the meal. P.S. It's definitely worth going to the Linde in Weier because of the excellent cuisine.

Leckere gut-bürgerliche Küche. Das Essen für 8 Personen (kalte und warme Gerichte) kam gleichzeitig, war heiß, lecker gewürzt und schmeckte phantastisch! Auf jeden Fall eine Einkehr wert!

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Speisen sind sehr gut und die Portionen reichlich. Ich komme schon seit Jahren und kann sagen das die Qualität jedes Mal Top war. Preislich vollkommen in Ordnung. Wer lecker badisch Essen möchte ist hier genau richtig.

Seit vielen Jahren unsere Wirtschaft für Familienfeiern. Wenn ich in der Nähe wohnen würde, wäre ich öfters hier. Es schmeckt immer sehr lecker und das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Es ist eine nette Gaststätte, mit freundlichem und nettem Service. Das Essen war richtig gut und auch die Portionsgröße war dem Preis angemessen. Allem in allem sehr zufrieden.

Wir waren dort zur Taufe meiner Tochter, und was soll ich sagen!? Es war einfach nur Phantastisch.. Das Essen war einfach super. Die Schweinelendchen waren auf den Punkt gebraten, auch der Rest ließ keine Wünsche offen. Dem Personal würde ich auch gerne 5 Sterne geben.. Sehr Nett, sehr aufmerksam, und immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht!

Haben dieses Restaurant nach dem Europapark zufällig ausgewählt da wir lust auf deutsche Küche hatten. Ein Traum. Man sollte sich von der Einrichtung nicht täuschen lassen, das Essen ist Wahnsinn. Wird auch bei unserem nächsten Besuch im Europapark unsere Anlaufstelle werden👍👍
