Best Kumpir in Hanover! Huge portion and super delicious!

This restaurant is worth a visit. The baked potatoes are cooked to perfection, fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The toppings are fresh, generous, and flavorful. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and filling meal.

The food was perfect; there were two of us and we each had a kumpir. A good portion for the price, and very tasty. However, I would only recommend this place if you have cash on you. I find it sad that in 2025, you still can't pay with a card everywhere. Hence, one star deducted.

Had potato with salmon (+extra salmon) and a friend had vegetarian. Both were super delicious and both didn't make it all the way through :+) I like to eat medium-sized meals. It's just a strange atmosphere. I'd rather take it with me, but it's delicious in both cases. ;+)

This was our second time eating here. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the toppings this time. A slice of beetroot, two torn rocket leaves, minimal bulgur, etc. The potato was nice and big, but unfortunately the topping wasn't enough to fill every bite. There was simply savings. It also took a long time for the potatoes to come to the table. If there had been other guests in the store, I can't imagine how long we would have had to wait. It's a shame - we'll eat somewhere else next time.

The shop smells strongly of oil, the music is too loud, and the staff often seem to be in a bad mood. Kumpir doesn't taste bad, but it's overpriced because the vegetables are clearly not fresh. So if so, it's better to order/pick up at home.

It was an absolute delight :3 the first time kumpir in my life and I chose the right shop to lose my kumpir virginity. Gladly again

I really like this store. I've been coming in and out here for years now and eating great Kumpir with consistent quality. For me, always the vegetarian or vegan versions. Great for anyone looking for a healthier alternative to pizza and kebab at a fair price.

Ambience corresponds to a small shop with 2 tables. Clean and tidy. Kumpir is delicious. Service very friendly

We really liked it. The potatoes are huge and super tasty. You have a huge selection of toppings and sauces. Nice atmosphere and really cozy. The highlight is the old cast iron oven.

You can't rate the food because they cancel the order 5 minutes before closing time (you ordered an hour before and they made you wait that long for nothing!) Really bad service

The first falafel was a little too cross, but the second order was very good. The taste is also very good. They were my first Falfel (I'm a meat eater), delicious.

If you’re an American who only knows the usual baked potato, come here. Change your life for the better. I made a special trip to Kuchengarten for this. And thank you to for the great service.

I recommend the Pilz-Kumpir, which is incredibly tasty and varied and has a very good price-performance ratio. The vegan version, on the other hand, unfortunately has very little vegan seitan and is therefore a bit small. Service friendly.

I had a very tasty meal here, I could choose from different side dishes, everything was fresh, it was delicious! I highly recommend the homemade yellow curry sauce

A comfortable restaurant with delicious food and acceptable prices

The taste at Kumpirs is good and, in my opinion, better than the other shops in Hanover (but they are also recommended!). The portions leave me more than satisfied and the staff is always friendly. The selection of different Kumpirs is also good. There should be something for (almost) everyone - there are also potato-free dishes. You can also sit in the shop, a bit comfortable but not too cramped.

Falafel are self-made and tasty, the price was okay-ish. Unfortunately they don't accept card payments.

Sehr nette Bedienung. Es wurde gefragt ob man es mit oder ohne scharfer Sauce haben möchte. Gericht wurde schnell an den Tisch gebracht. Sowohl Plätze im kleinen Innenbereich als auch draußen.

Ich liebe das Essen hier, die Abwechslung und das Angebot gefallen mir gut. Allerdings würde ich bevorzugen das Essen mitzunehmen.

Eigentlich mein Lieblings-Kumpir! Aber beim letzten Mal hat man sehr sehr gespart am Käse und am Lachs (beides wirklich nur in sehr kleinen Mengen drin...) So kenne ich das hier eigentlich nicht...

Kleiner Imbiss mit leckeren Kumpir-Variationen. Grundsätzlich gibt es eine große Auswahl und auch die Preise sind vertretbar. Lediglich mehr Aufmerksamkeit vom Personal wäre wünschenswert. Ich hatte bei meiner Bestellung angegeben, dass bitte eine Zutat weggelassen werden soll, da ich sie einfach nicht mag. Leider wurde das dann aber vergessen. Das Personal kratzte die ungewünschte Zutat vom Teller, aber natürlich war das nicht vollständig möglich und so puhlte ich hinterher im Essen herum. Hoffentlich klappt das nächstes Mal besser. Ansonsten empfehlenswert!

Auf Empfehlung von meinem Bruder haben wir das Menü "Chicken Kumpir mit Curry" gegessen und waren positiv überrascht. :-) Wer mal etwas anderes als Döner oder Pizza testen möchte wird hier fündig! Faire Portion, Guter Preis, Netter Laden. Gerne Wieder :-) 5/5
