Wir waren mittlerweile schon öfter hier (Innenbereich) und sind immer wieder begeistert. Das Essen ist sehr lecker (vor allem das American Pulled Pork) und der Service ist sehr nett, auch wenn's mal stressig ist. Das Ambiente ist einladend. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ok. Immer wieder gerne und definitiv eine Empfehlung!

Great ambience of an enjoyable restaurant

We were supposed to be with a group of 12 people, but since one couple became ill with gastrointestinal illness at short notice, we decided to come with 10 people. Since a short-term cancellation (of just 10% of the guests!!!) is unfortunately not tolerated in the restaurant's terms and conditions, we had to pay the extremely high service fee. The two of them probably wouldn't have eaten that much once. This is not good behavior and so it was our last visit to the actually beautiful and very tasty restaurant. A pity!! It should also be mentioned that 2 of the service staff (not the one who served us at the table!) were incredibly unfriendly, they leave you standing in the middle of a sentence and roll your eyes... Absolutely out of place in the service. All in all, it was actually a great place, but the poor management and poor service ruined the mood at our family celebration. We definitely do not recommend the restaurant.

Very nice beer garden with good service. Unfortunately, I was a little unlucky with my food. The braised beef cheeks were very tough and a bit too fatty, the rest was okay. Maybe I'll have better luck next time. Everyone should get a second chance.

We celebrated our wedding at the Limburg monastery ruins. The event location is very suitable and recommended for larger events. We received good advice from the event manager and the process was great. The locations, the food and the supporting program were prepared as discussed and the service was also very professional. We always enjoy coming here. Special atmosphere within the old walls. The menu is very broad, including dishes that you would expect in the Palatinate as well as dishes that are of a higher standard. Lovingly prepared.

I celebrated my birthday there. The room was very nicely decorated. The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious as usual. The location was of course unbeatable. A clear recommendation every time.

First of all, the atmosphere is really nice, it's really nice to sit there surrounded by old walls. Unfortunately, the staff is not very friendly, sometimes even snippy. The homepage says there is an allergen menu on site. When I asked, I was told with a laugh that it existed, but that it was no longer current. The lady also laughed at my gluten intolerance and dismissed it as “standard”. Afterwards there was a wishy-washy "should go/should be okay/shouldn't have anything in it" explanation of the card. This is completely unacceptable; especially the behavior of the staff. If we hadn't had the tickets for the Limburg summer, we would have gone again. People with allergies don't choose them, it's no fun and no laughing matter. No matter how nice the ambience is, we won't be able to eat anymore.

Wir waren im Aussenbereich gesessen. Hier bestellt man an der Theke. Essen wird dann serviert. Klappt ganz gut. Wir hatten Bowls mit Lachs und Falafel. Vorab den Ziegenkäse. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt und das Ambiente war sehr schön

We were there today and it was a well-preserved ruin from the 11th century near Bad Dürkheim that was well worth seeing. you really have to go in and take in the huge walls and size of this facility. We were very impressed by this monument of history. A visit is definitely worth it because there is a restaurant and events

Today we were again in the beer garden at Konrad 2. It was very 😋. Even with a lot of people, everything was super organized. We got married up here 14 years ago and always enjoy coming back.

It's a shame that a potential for an exciting Mother's Day event was wasted by a wait time of almost an hour and half and a more than arrogant and unfriendly waiter. Part of the problem was not the number of people waiting, lack of personnel or a slow kitchen, but two waiters who spent more time hiding behind a van and smoking than bringing out food.

The Limburg Monastery is a former Benedictine abbey that existed from the 11th century until the Reformation. It is one of the largest and most important monuments of early Salian architecture. And it is also perfect as a place to take a break: the former cloister is home to one of the very few beautiful beer gardens in the Palatinate Forest. The atmosphere here in the former Gothic cloister is incomparable - and thankfully there is not only Saumagen and the Sieben Schnitzel - a rarity in the Palatinate Forest, which is often unfortunately rather underdeveloped in terms of hiking cuisine.

We celebrated our dream wedding on the Limburg in Bad Dürkheim! Everything was perfect! Mr. Deutscher put a lot of thought into it and did everything he could to ensure we had an unforgettable celebration. The food was great, as was the ambience. We are more than satisfied! Keep it up!

It was our first time there and due to the weather we sat inside in the cozy dining room. We had schnitzel (French fries delicious and cross as they should be) and the monastery bread with goat cheese, accompanied by a large fresh salad. The food was visually very appealing and tasty. The service was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back and are looking forward to the outdoor area.

They give you a table first and then ask you to go to a smaller table. There are a lot of empty tables. It's better to just look at the castle.

Were there yesterday, sat in the outdoor lighting. It started to drip, my husband came in and asked if they were putting up the umbrellas. Independently of us, a lady at the next table asked the same question and received the same answer. OK. Stupid, but that's how it is. Another group simply put up the umbrella. So we thought "Aha, if you ask too long, you'll be wrong" and put up an umbrella and the two ladies sat under it with us. Then, as if bitten by a tarantula, a male service worker came, put the umbrella down, muttered something very unfriendly about "The umbrellas are not self-service" and then opened the umbrella again.... In the meantime, a group he knew came shopping. The umbrella was immediately opened, something was said about the risk of injury and "then something would happen" Um... the probability of you tripping over something and falling into the glass that you have to remove yourself and getting injured is probably higher than that to put up an umbrella. Finally, I would like to say that we didn't just have a drink. The staff probably expected us to eat our food in the rain. The cuisine is expensive, so we expect respectful behavior. That was underground...

We were there for Easter brunch today and were very disappointed. Very unfriendly, especially the boss, you weren't greeted very friendly nor were you said goodbye. For us, the food wasn't great for the money. Soup was cold, not much choice of hot dishes, rolls not fresh, no baguette or other bread or croissants. We paid for 3 hours and when we allocated space we were told only until 1:30 p.m., but we didn't want any longer. For us it was a letdown, when we talked to other guests they had the same opinion. A PITY!!!!

Very nice beer garden with an unusual menu and very good wines. That was our last review. Because we are often satisfied guests in the monastery ruins, we invited our family to brunch. It was a huge disappointment. The reception alone was very slow and we had to wait on the stairs in the rain until we got in. Our table (second meal time) wasn't really newly set. Since we like to take our time during brunch, some pots were empty and were not refilled even after we asked. Unfortunately, the otherwise good dishes are not available at brunch. The worst was a pasta bake. We all agreed that the restaurant would have been the better choice.

One thing in advance: I had a normal meal in the restaurant a few times last year and was thrilled every time. That's why I was really looking forward to the Easter brunch. However, I was even more disappointed. The quality of the food has nothing to do with that of the normal restaurant... it was simply cheap and bad. By “Palatinate-international gourmet dishes” I mean something different than, among other things, ready-made salads and pasta casseroles with peas. I couldn't even try some of the dishes because they quickly ran out and weren't refilled. Drinks were not included at all... not even juice or water, as you would find in much cheaper brunch offers. And to top it all off, the service was largely completely overwhelmed, which is why we had to wait 10-15 minutes in the rain before brunch before we even got to our table. I will definitely eat in the monastery ruins again, but the brunch was the first and last time - it's a shame!

Unfortunately I have to agree with the previous criticism. It was very crowded (too crowded for the room). It was cramped and confusing at the buffet, which was really disappointing. The quality of the food was simply not adequate for the price. Dessert consisted, among other things, of thawed donuts and Berliners like you would find in the discount store...it just didn't fit. You can then pay extra for drinks on top of that. BUT: basically a really great location, but unfortunately this time it went completely wrong A pity

We paid a lot of money for Easter brunch and were hugely disappointed. The photos and reviews so far have suggested delicious food. It was a tiny buffet with really poor quality food. There were 5 of us and together we found the bread and the cheese spaetzle tasty, everything else was really not good. In addition, it was extremely cold in the basement, despite the radiant heater. No water, no juice, nothing was included in terms of drinks and overall it was a buffet, which could have been done much better. It would also be good to point out that it is difficult for people with walking difficulties to reach the rooms.

I've been there several times. In the summer in the beer garden in the inner courtyard, last night again in the restaurant on the 1st floor and in January for brunch in the wine cellar, which unfortunately only takes place around Christmas and certain days. There is self-service in the courtyard, but otherwise I was very satisfied with the service. However, I was there when it wasn't so crowded. The food is delicious, slightly above average, but the price-performance ratio is right. Sometimes there are special events, even if someone is celebrating a wedding there, sometimes the restaurant is closed, so make sure to check beforehand whether it is really open, because I have already found the doors closed.

An enchanting place in an absolutely great (view) location high above DÜW. We spontaneously decided to take a lunch break with a “little something” to strengthen us. We absolutely loved what we were served! Visually and qualitatively very appealing and an absolute recommendation! Anytime again (probably even more beautiful in the summer/garden season)!

Last year I was with my family in this restaurant, I did not like either the food or the service. I wrote a review and gave it 3 stars. Today I received a message from Google that they complained about my comment, claiming that I was not there and in general I am not a real person!!! This is how they remove ratings they don’t like! The castle is beautiful, but the restaurant ruined the whole atmosphere, with cheap furniture on the highway, terrible dishes. The quality of the food does not match the price, that is, the markup is only for the location. Maybe you can just have a glass of wine there, but their food is bad.

Klosterzauber ist sehr schön. Leider gibt es für kleine Kinder nicht wirklich etwas. Die "Snacks" sind für kleine nicht geeignet. Es wäre schön, wenn es vielleicht Brezeln oder Knackwürtste im Brötchen geben würde. Vielleicht für die Zukunft...

War mit meiner kleinen Tochter dort zum Essen. Wir gehen regelmäßig nach Wanderungen Essen. Heute haben wir das Konrad 2 auf der Limburg ausprobiert. Wir waren SEHR begeistert!!! Richtig klasse Atmosphäre, Gemütlich, Sauber, Spitze!!! Das Essen war der Hammer! Sehr lecker und schön hergerichtet. Auch die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles war prima! Meine Kleine war sehr begeistert und möchte da bald wieder hin. Mir geht es genauso!

Wir waren wandern und sind dann im Konrad 2 spontan eingekehrt. Positiv auch ohne Reservierung mit Hund einen Tisch bekommen. Darauf haben wir zum Sonntags Brunch am 3. Advent reserviert. Tolles Ambiente und sehr gutes Buffet.

Es war sehr schön weihnachtlich geschmückt. Lecker Glühwein und Chili con Carne gegessen. Abends sieht die Ruine so schön aus, wenn sie beleuchtet ist.

Egal ob eine komplette Mahlzeit in gemütlichem Ambiente Innen, Gewölbekeller und Ausenbereich oder gar nur ein Snack mit Schorle. In Verbindung mit einem schönen Waldspaziergang, ist ein Stop bei der Limburg im Konrad2 immer wieder eine tolle Erfahrung.

Schöne Klosterruine mit tollem Flair, Essen ist dort auch möglich, wurde aber von uns nicht genutzt.

Klosterruine ist sehenswert. Aber dieser angepriesen Klosterzauber mit Illumination der absolute Witz. So enttäuschent.

Wir wurden von Freunden überrascht die die Location ausgesucht hatten. Abends noch im Kloster Limburg ganz gemütlich essen mit nem schönen Gläschen Wein und sehr gutem Essen. Ich hatte den Sauerbraten mit Rotkohl und Klößen, der war echt lecker! Der Wein dazu auch passend. Die Kellernerin freundlich aufmerksam und nicht hektisch obwohl alleine für die Tische zuständig .Die Küche gibt sich nicht nur zufrieden mit der gekonnten Zubereitung der Lebensmittel ,sondern auch im Geschmack und anrichten der Speisen . Alles rundherum zu empfehlen.👍

Der Klosterzauber wurde sehr schnell entzaubert Keine gemütlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten keine Heizpilze. Aber das wäre noch verschmerzbar. Wir haben uns einen Glühwein bestellt und haben uns gewundert warum der Blechbecher (nicht gerade optimal für Glühwein zum warmhalten) nur halb voll war. Die Antwort war der Preis ist nur für 0,2 der Becher habe aber 0,4 also werden die Becher nur zur Hälfte gefüllt. Da wir alle Hunger hatten haben wir darauf verzichtet vor Ort zu essen (Wir hatten Bedenken, das wir auch nur eine halbe Portion bekommen) Also sind wir nach Bad Dürkheim gefahren und haben sehr gut gegessen

Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet und die Matratze super. Personal durchschnittlich freundlich. Essen: Frühstück war wirklich gut, Abendessen ebenfalls. Hätte mir aber etwas mehr Gemüse/Rohkost gewünscht. Mittagessen, war in Ordnung. Traf nicht immer meinen Geschmack und war mir persönlich zu wenig gewürzt.

Das Ambiente ist voll okay, alles ist sehr sauber, die Getränke sind auch gut, aber kommt hier nicht her wenn ihr hungrig seid. Wir haben für eine Suppe und einen Rindfleischsalat über eine Std. gewartet und der Laden war noch nicht mal zur Hälfte voll. Wir haben dann unser Essen, eine Std. nach unserer Bestellung wieder abbestellt, da der Koch noch nicht einmal damit angefangen hatte, wie uns vom Service nach mehrmaligem nachfragen dann ehrlich zugegeben wurde. Der Koch war wohl alleine in der Küche, aber das kann man doch dann den Gästen vorab mitteilen und sie immer noch selbst entscheiden lassen ob sie bleiben und dennoch etwas bestellen möchte oder eben nicht.

Bei unseren ersten beiden Besuchen waren wir eigentlich sehr zufrieden aber unser letzter Besuch war leider enttäuschend. Wir hatten uns so auf Tafelspitz gefreut und der war um 18 Uhr aus. . Ebenso der Thai Salat. Auf die Gans müssten wir ca1 Stunde warten. Wir haben dann Schnitzel und Cordon-Bleu bestellt die fett-triefend dann serviert wurden. Den Bergkäse darin habe ich vergeblich gesucht . Wir waren mit Freunden dort, hatten vorgeschwärmt wie lecker das Essen dort sei und dann das. .. Sorry das geht garnicht !!!
