The KostBar im Schlosscafé DOES NOT NEED YOUR BUSINESS. Sunday evening, we arrive at 1923 (Closing time is 2000) with the intention of enjoying a single glass of wine. We were immediately informed that they were no longer serving anything to anyone even though it was 37 minutes to closing. If you want to be closed at 1900 then post that time for you customers please. Unfortunately it seems the KostBar has joined so many other restaurants where mediocre service is all one can expect and pay a lot for it too!

Bistro with passion. Good selection of Italian dishes and good wines (also from the region ;-)) Again at any time.

Nice Italian bistro. Nice service. Were just here for a drink. Modern design. Good drinks and wine list. Changing wines available by the glass.

Absolutely unfriendly. Instead of being served you would be sent away with the sentence: "The chairs are not for sitting on!".

Unfortunately we were treated rudely and a waiter or the owner loudly insulted a passer-by. Was unpleasant for everyone.

Never experienced it before. In an almost empty restaurant we are assigned a seat on the aisle, which I decline. The waitress then turns around and we are “allowed” to leave. Kind of cool.

As always and for years: super friendly, delicious food, excellent wines, great ambience! Again and again!!

Wir waren zur Mahnwache gegen Rechts am Ludwigsplatz und wollten eine Rieslingschorle trinken. Im Lokal trotz 3 Leuten hinter der Theke eine längere Schlange vor dem Ausschank, die bei näherer Betrachtung daher rührte, dass eine Dame für das Öffnen der Flaschen zuständig war, ein Herr zum Einschenken und eine Dame zum Kassieren, das dauert. Es kostete 10,50€ inkl. Pfand von 5€. In Ermangelung einer 50ct Münze habe ich 12€ hingelegt, die vereinnahmt wurden ohne das entsprechende Wechselgeld herauszugeben. Auf meine Beschwerde, dass da noch was an Wechselgeld fehlt, wurde mir mit den Worten „Madre Dio“ noch 1€ hingeworfen. Auf meine Worte „ da fehlt aber immer noch was, hier zieht man sein Trinkgeld wohl selber ab“ erhielt ich die sehr aggressive Ansage des Chefs:“ Beschwer dich draußen bei den Politikern!“ So ein unverschämtes Verhalten ist mir noch nie zuvor untergekommen. Mein Fazit: NIE WIEDER KOSTBAR!

What a pity…. for such a statement from one of the owners!!! I can't think of any words to say about this... Not exactly a dog friendly restaurant… In the last few weeks we have learned to love and appreciate the precious. To date, we have always felt comfortable here as guests (and with our four-legged friends). After a strenuous day at work, the Kostbar was usually our go-to place to leave the stress of Bad Dürkheim's business world behind us. The restaurant was our absolute heart recommendation! A small, fine location in a prime location, right next to the spa gardens, nice modern ambience in a relaxed atmosphere! Value for money, great for consistently high quality food, top wines. It was always fun to be here, meet up with friends and because we love good food and good wine…!!! Until a few days ago... since we always treat people and animals with respect, we wanted to reserve a table, as we should, in my opinion, and also to show our appreciation to the restaurateur for ensuring that the restaurant planning runs smoothly. Then one of the owners said that unfortunately there were no tables available and that dogs would no longer be allowed in the restaurant in the future. Some guests complained that the dogs smelled, were dirty, that some of them were dangerous and that they could no longer enjoy the food in peace... HELLO, has anyone ever asked the four-legged friends how some people stink??? Yes... it's a shame for this statement, especially in today's difficult times for restaurateurs with regard to the economic situation and the adjustment of the VAT from 7% back to the normal 19%. Since I have been able to get a detailed picture of the restaurant in the last few weeks, I am firmly of the opinion that the owners have not done themselves a business favor with this statement, as we are not the only pet owners in Bad Dürkheim like some owners like : Hunters - seniors who don't want to or can't be alone - business people from the region - spa & hotel guests & precious guests. But like I said… this is my personal opinion and review. To date, the Kostbar has been highly recommended and always worth a visit for the best Pinsas in the area. Kind regards from a former guest who is convinced of the Kostbar concept....

Feines Essen ist was anderes. Wir haben hier pinsa gegessen. Schlecht waren sie nicht, jedoch einfallslos, schall, ohne Raffinesse. Bedienung war freundlich. Das Ambiente ist sehr gut. Schönes Design. Mit italienische Küche hat es jedoch nichts zu tun. Manche schnell Imbisse können es besser. Preis sind hier jedoch Restaurant-mäßig.

Die beste Antipasti Vorspeise die ich bis lang gegessen habe. Die Pinsa ist der Wahnsinn . 👍👍👍🙏🏿

Für einen Vorspeisen Teller wurde 2 x 2.- zusätzlich verlangt obwohl wir zu dritt drei Hauptspeisen hatten. Abzocke total.

Gute Lage zwischen Städt'le und Kurpark. Die zwei Pinsa waren lecker, die Weinauswahl sowieso. Zu beobachten wäre im Sommer das vorzeitige zumachen, aber in Bad Dürkheim werden in der Innenstadt die Bordsteine halt eher früh hochgeklappt.

Leckere Pinsa mit frischen Zutaten! Tolle Tagesgerichte! Spannende Kombinationen und Gerichte mit italienischen Spezialitäten! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend. Das essen war sehr lecker. Die Pinza kann ich empfehlen sowie die Nudeln mit pulpus. Einfach hervorragend. Service und Besitzer nett und freundlich. Wir kommen wieder. :)

Super essen, sehr nettes Personal Würde immer wieder kommen

Ich war im Bad Dürkheim für 2 Tage Entspannung. Aus Zufall bin ich an der Kostabr vorbei gelaufen. Das ambiente und die Stimmung war wie eine italienische Piazza mit guten Weinen und gutem essen. DANKESCHÖN an allen den Mitarbeitern.

Eine kleine feine Lokalität in bester Lage. Das war es auch schon, leider. Die junge Bedienung super nett, aber die Pächter....ohne Worte. Wir gehen niemals mehr dahin. Es lag nur am Service der Pächter. Wir hoffen auf Besserung.

Sehr schönes Lokal, der Aussenbereich könnte ein paar mehr Pflanzen vertragen. Essen war gut und reichlich.

Bester Italiener, mit ganz viel Leidenschaft nicht nur beim wirklich vorzüglichen Essen, sondern auch beim Service. Hier fühlt man sich willkommen und als Gast geschätzt. Kulinarisch gibt es täglich wechselnde Gerichte, sowie natürlich eine feste Speisekarte. Ich habe hier noch nie etwas gegessen, was mich nicht absolut überzeugt hat. Die Qualität der unterschiedlichen und auch wechselnden Gerichte ist exzellent. PS: Auch in Sachen Wein, ist die KostBar eine Empfehlung wert. Man findet hier absolut exklusive Auswahl an Spirituosen. Bis bald ihr Lieben !

Wer mal wieder so richtig echt italienische Küche genießen will, der isst hier richtig. Bruschetta... aawww! Ein Träumchen! Und erst recht die Pizzen... knusprig, selbst der Rand ist soo lecker 😋 . Eine toller, zuvorkommender Service. Du brauchst unbedingt eine Reservierung!

Schönes Ambiente, freundliches Personal, Speisen gefühlt ein klein wenig zu teuer für die servierte Menge. Für einen Gastrobetrieb im Herzen von Bad dürkheim zu wenig Auswahl offener Weine.

Ob für einen Kaffee, Drink oder Essen - eine hübsche Lokalität. Im Sommer kann man toll auf der Straße sitzen, schönes Flair. Unbedingt reservieren! Ja - es ist gedrängt und laut - eben gesellig.

Wollten gerne um 21.25 Uhr noch einen Absacker trinken, leider nicht möglich, Hinweis: wie schließen um 22 Uhr... Der Laden war noch gut besucht, bis 22 Uhr wären wir auch wieder weg gewesen. Gastfreundschaft sieht anders aus!!!
