Very good ceviche. Very mediocre main course - 100% fried - fish, mussels, shrimp. Very poor service - staff only behind the counter - sat next to an uncovered neighboring table almost the whole time. Too bad!

Limas Restobar offered a promotion on the Fork app. I made two reservations that were confirmed and then canceled by them. When I called I was told that this promotion was no longer offered. But when I made the reservation, the promotion was available and confirmed. They deleted the promotion today and I think that's unfair because I made the reservation when the promotion was still valid. You should respect that. Yes, I have visited this restaurant before and I think it was not good value for money. The portions were small for the price, and the order took forever to arrive. I would have given it one star back then. With the promotion, the price would have been appropriate given the quality of the food and service.

I have tried several Peruvian restaurants and this is the best! You have to wait a bit for the food, but it is freshly prepared and it's worth the wait! The ceviche and lomo saltado are great and all traditionally prepared. The selection of dishes is not too large but it represents good cuisine and all the important main courses from Peru are there :-) Please keep it up!

If you value your time, don't go to this restaurant. We waited more than an hour and a half for our order. Everything else has no meaning against this background.

A small restaurant that takes a long time to cook. The food was delicious, but 1.5 hours passed from the moment we ordered until we ate. This is honestly too much. The waiter answered my questions that this is a restaurant, not fast food 🤣

Wow, what a good place, it's cozy, small, it has a lot of Peruvian decoration, the service is good, it's just that the dishes take a while to arrive. The food is very good, very seasoned, meets the real flavor and the truth is that every euro is worth it. I would always return and hope to take my mother <3 you can pay by card. The lomo saltado is exquisite and filling, the ceviche is very delicious but it is not enough if you share it.

Es un buen restaurante pero la gestión de atención al cliente la llevan muy mal, son antipáticos siempre llevan el NO por delante, creo que no saben gestionarlo. A ver si intentan entender de que el cliente es lo más importante . Cada vez que he ido parece que me están haciendo un favor, y repito porque la comida , lo hacen bien. Suspenden en la atención al cliente. No tengo discrepancias con la comida, es buena

The food was delicious, unfortunately it took over an hour and a half until it was ready (from the time of ordering). So if you're hungry, it's better to go somewhere else. But the atmosphere is very pleasant and the waiters are super nice.

We had a wonderful evening in Lima’s RestoBar. Many Latinas and Latinos also eat here. Guests come from all over North Rhine-Westphalia.

I don't like giving bad reviews to small restaurants, but unfortunately I have to say that Limas really disappointed us. We had to wait almost 40 minutes for our starters and then another 20 minutes for our main courses. We were all alone in the restaurant and there were 3-4 people in the kitchen. Since the portions weren't particularly large and the taste was solid (not outstanding but not super bad either), we thought we'd share a dessert between the two of us. These already had a long preparation on the menu - well, we were already used to that. So we asked what long meant, the waitress said about 15-20 minutes. After 30 minutes she came to our table and told us that the food was being prepared right away. As I said, we are now waiting as usual. Another 10 minutes later she came back with the card, saying that the kitchen had noticed that they didn't have it today 😂 10 minutes ago it was still in preparation, now it's no longer available. To compensate we got a free dessert. Well after a 2 hour stay we were really ready to leave and asked for the bill. That was the next thing for a tiny pot of sauce (maybe half to three-quarters of a ketchup sachet, which I ordered with my rice without sauce €2.95, a large water bottle €8. So I'm happy to pay for my food, but that was really cheeky . So no recommendation from me.

A very friendly restaurant. The area is very unassuming from the outside. The inside is very lovingly furnished. The staff is very warm. I came for the ceviche, my absolute favorite dish and I wasn't disappointed at all. A very good price-performance ratio. There were large pieces of fish in excellent citrus juice. There were also empanadas and manok fries. Everything was very delicious. I wouldn't order the Peruvian Cola again, it wasn't really my taste.

The quality of the food is very good, the taste makes you remember as if you were in Peru. At the beginning they give you a snack. The decoration of the place is nice. It is a small place, but very nice. I saw that it is possible to bring dogs 🐕, they are petfriendly. The big problem is the time they need to serve both the starter, even more so the main dishes, and the picarones (if you want to order them, it's better to order them at the beginning, because they take forever). We were only two people and we spent almost 3 hours in the restaurant... The portions of the dishes are small, the prices are very high for the overall service obtained. Das Essen ist ganz gut, sehr lecker!!! The Restaurant has one of the best Peruvian decorations. The Restaurant is Petfriendly. 🐕 Das Problem ist die Zeit, die sie brauchen um alles fertig zu haben. Wir waren dort fast 3 Stunden... Der Preis ist hoch und die Portionen von den Gerichten sind klein.

Good food. Will definitely be back

The food was very tasty, but we had to wait over an hour for our food as several tables cannot be served at once... and unfortunately there are a lot of smells from the kitchen in the dining room...

Unfortunately, our visit to Limas Restobar wasn't perfect. Our reservation, confirmed by an employee via email, was not available. We waited a whole hour for our food even though the restaurant wasn't fully booked. The neighboring tables also waited forever. Maybe the food and I weren't on the same wavelength in terms of taste, I didn't like it. The prices were also 20% too high for the portions.

We were in a group of eight people in the RestoBar, we had a very nice evening. The dishes were all very tasty and beautifully prepared. The service itself could have been a little faster, but a lot was compensated for by the warm manner. Only the kitchen may need a new hood, as a lot of smells from the kitchen find their way into the dining room.

The cuisine is super delicious, I recommend the leche de tigre, very delicious, but the service, ufff, they should hire more gentle and friendly people... It doesn't have tropical juices, but if it has pisco, I recommend the chicha morada, it was very delicious. This is also not a normal Peruvian restaurant. A German restaurant is as chic as homey.

We had a wonderful evening with wonderful food. The Valentine's Day menu was outstanding. Price / offer: Very good. The reception was a little bumpy because all the guests arrived at the same time. Unfortunately, this meant that it took a very long time until we got our aperitif. I only mention this so that it can perhaps be improved in the future.

I think that the price-performance ratio is not right. I don't like being aggressively alerted to a tip of up to 25% through the loan payment. I find that too pushy

I had a really interesting and tasty meal there. Really good and authentic cuisine, extremely nice service. It's actually a very nice ambience if you don't sit directly at the table by the window in sub-zero temperatures.

Locale piccolo, accogliente, con i tavoli un po' troppo vicini e un servizio assai cordiale. Se il riscaldamento potesse alzare la temperatura di qualche grado non sarebbe male , tuttavia, dopo un po' che si è seduti, ci si acclimata e tutto va bene. Io e il mio collega (che frequentiamo Dusseldorf da tanti anni, in occasione del salone nautico) siamo concordi nell'affermare che qui abbiamo goduto della migliore cena in assoluto: portate molto curate, originali, deliziose, culminate in dolci davvero eccellenti, il tutto accompagnato da vino peruviano davvero ottimo. Conto pari a quello dei tanti ristoranti dai quali siamo usciti per nulla soddisfatti. In questo caso, invece, uscendo dal locale ci siamo complimentati vivamente con il personale (tutti molto giovani). Bravi bravi bravi.

It was the best ceviche I ever had!

The food was great but the service was unbelievable. There was another large group there and they were being served. We waited 2 hours for food and the drinks and desserts were wrong. Then the people in the group all paid individually, since no one knew how they had what they had, we had to wait another hour until we could pay. I haven't experienced so much chaos in a long time

An adventure trip through Peruvian specialty cuisine. From the corn nibbles to the beef heart to the ultra-sweet dessert. Plus the local drinks. Everything delicious and with love. I now fancy a Lima vacation including an Ayahuasca Experience 🤭

Ein herzlicher Empfang und eine lockere, freundliche Servicekraft, so das man sich rundum wohl fühlte. Das Ambiente war gemütlich, modern und edel. Die Gerichte waren wunderschön angerichtet und haben sehr gut geschmeckt. An der kleinen Speisekarte war schon zu erkennen, dass man hier nichts falsch machen kann. Wir durften unseren Hund mitbringen, was den Abend perfekt gemacht hat.

Leche de Tigre, a personal favorite now, was a standout even on my inaugural taste. Samantha, our gracious server, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I highly recommend this dining experience to everyone in the neighborhood. Lima’s RestoBar is a definite must-try.

Authentische und sehr leckere Küche. Restaurant klein aber gemütlich. Ceviche kann auch als Hauptgang bestellt werden, uneingeschränkte Empfehlung. Service sehr freundlich und dafür, dass sie sich entschuldigt hatten, dass es sehr voll ist und es etwas länger dauern kann ging alles wirklich sehr zügig. Klare Empfehlung und jederzeit gerne wieder.

Ich war zum ersten Mal Peruanisch essen und… bin völlig begeistert! In diesem kleinen Restaurant schmeckt einfach alles. Perfekt ausgewogen, für mich eine neue Geschmacksrichtung und von der Kellnerin freundlich und herzlich auf die scharfen Peperoni hingewiesen. Das war eine tolle Erfahrung und wurde durch schmackhafte Coktails perfekt abgerundet. Vielleicht ein wenig teuer, für ein Landei wie mich, aber jeden Cent absolut wert! Küche top, Service super freundlich und tolle Getränke! Danke für diesen tollen Abend!

Sehr gemütliches authentisches Restaurant War das erste mal peruanisch essen. Sowohl Vorspeise als auch Hauptspeise und dessert waren sehr sehr lecker. Das Personal war super nett und zuvorkommend als wir den Tisch an einem Samstag Abend wechseln wollten weil noch spontan freunde dazu kamen dann wurde noch Happy Birthday für uns gespielt weil wir ein Geburtstagskind in der Runde hatten. Und mit Amex zahlen war auch möglich 👍👍

I celebrate my birthday every year in this place since 3 years now. They are very attentive, the food is always on point: ceviche and anticuchos are one of the best! Pisco sours are very good too. Decoration and ambiance is authentic, making this always an immersive experience into the Peruvian culture.

I cannot believe not having tried this place before. Famous restaurants around the world like Coya serve Peruvian style food and ceviche is really what for them on the map. This little joint on Muenster Strasse is a fresh reminder of what that will look like in Lima. My only wish would be that the lomo plates would contain more meat (at a higher price) and less carbs.

I wouldn't normally post such good reviews but this restaurant just left me really happy. Amazing Peruvian food in a really small and authentic setting. The staff is all Spanish speaking and the food is sublime. Really nice decoration, music, and general vibe. It felt like a small holiday in the busy Düsseldorf. Recommended: The Lomo Saltado was absolutely amazing, get it either with rice or pasta!

Ristorante ben curato, con personale molto cordiale e preparato. Il cibo è molto buono, la carne è ben cotta (quindi occhio se cercate del lomo saltado). Cocktail della casa fatto da un barman abbastanza esperto, consigliato! (ah, non prendete le tagliatelle ma andate di lomo semplice)

Not a good first impression for me I would say. But definitely I want to start saying that a friend made a reservation at 6pm and since we came from Bonn, trams were delayed so we arrived at 6.30 (indeed late). However, in the reservation they did not specify that we only had until 8pm to stay at the table. We only knew about this when we arrived. When we got the table, and knowing that we only had 1.5 hours to be there, we ordered a starter and 2 dishes. Starter came fast, but the main dishes took very long to arrive. Even if we ordered at 7.05, the main dishes arrived at 7.45 pm , when they arrived and looking at the time I didn't think they would tell as something at 8pm because I didn't think they would expect us to eat in 15 min. But it was 8.08pm and the girl came to us, when we were still eating, saying that the people from that table were already here and that we needed to finish eating in the bar. At that moment, I told her that the dishes arrived late and she argued that we also arrived late, which was true, but dishes were also late, for me the experience was ruined because of the way she argued. I didn't think it was friendly, and because of the bitter feeling I didn't continue eating. What is more surprising is that, I agreed to go to the bar to finish eating, obviously cause we were not gonna eat outside, so even after they pushed or hurryed us, they took 20 min to give us the bill. I was feeling already uncomfortable because they were pressuring us but then took long to charge us, btw they didn't gave us the space in the bar. As they were taking long to relocate us, we ask for the remaining for take away. For me, it would have been so much better that they let us finish eating and then say that the other guests were here. I would completely agreed, but interrupting our dinner, and then taking their time to give us the bill was disrespectful for me. That is my personal opinion. I hope you have a different experience. And I recommend the restaurant to let people know in the reservation that you only have 2 hours to be there, would make things much easier. Regarding the food, everything fine but the Lomo saltado was a little dry, and overcooked. Pisco sour and anticuchos good. Btw, I am Peruvian and I am talking from personal experience that Lomo saltado is very juicy. All in all flavour was good

In Düsseldorf ein Einzelstück 💎 super süßes peruanisches Lokal. Limas Redtobar ist zentral in Düsseldorf Derendorf gelegen. Das Essen war außergewöhnlich gut gewürzt und die Bedienung aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir hatten die Empanadas und Maniokstäbchen mit pikanter Soße zur Vorspeise und Ají de Gallina, eine Hauptspeise mit Hühnerbrust, Kartoffelscheiben Reis und einer Sauce mit Parmesan. Zum dahinschmelzen 🇵🇪❤️

Really nice restaurant! Is not that big so you can do a reservation through their website. The food has a good portion and the flavor is good, the prices are a little bit expensive, but for a special occasion is great. For two pisco sours, leche de tigre, ají de gallina and alfajor is 50 euros in average.

Petit resto péruvien avec une ambiance agréable et des plats typiques préparés sur place. Bon cadre pour un dîner à deux. Les boissons péruviennes complémentent bien les saveurs des plats.

Delicious food! The restaurant was able to seat us even though we did not have reservations. While we waited for our food, they provided some sort of roasted maize (or corn) salted kernels which were addicting to snack on! We ordered Lomo Saltado Clasico and Leche De Tigre. Lomo Saltado Clasico was amazing in texture and flavor with the meat ever so slightly crispy on the exterior, not too tough in overall texture, and an assertive savory flavor. The Leche De Tigre is one you may need to brace yourself for as the flavor was intense, so eat in small portions to get used to it if it is your first time trying it. I recommend this place for intimate dinners :)
