Lily Burger in Berlin

Positive: Very friendly service Interesting decoration Very cool selection of drinks (Elephant Bay, for example) The fries were delicious Negative: The restaurant doesn't look like the pictures There are no smash burgers. The menu says "No Smash", which is why we assumed that these were the burgers that weren't smashed. According to the waiter, however, these are exactly the smash burgers. So we ordered the burgers - of course they weren't smash burgers. When we asked, we were told that the patties were so thick because it was double smash... Mac N' Cheese was okay, but far from the original Conclusion: Unfortunately not again, but the waiter was very friendly.

In my opinion not much has changed. Review from 2 years ago: -Service outstandingly good. -Menu inadequate (how many grams of patties etc. information is missing). -Menu physical would be desirable. -Burgers are ok, but ours were on the menu for €29.90, so I paid ~€38 each (for whatever reason, I realized too late) -For €38 I get a killer steak at Block House. -Unfortunately, in the grill club, the meat takes a backseat, even though it is available at any desired cooking level and is of high quality. This is probably due to the massive onion rings etc. that are on the castles. (They taste great too) -The height/size of some burgers is extreme (you can't see it on the menu at all), unfortunately you can't even hold it in your hand (you should probably describe that). 3 people - 3 burgers - 3x curly fries + drinks = 140€ If it wasn't so damn expensive I would come back.

My son says he's never had fast food so good. But it's not a quick meal either, because the food here is fresh and really good. We had Phili Cheese Steak, Loaded Fries, Pastrami Sandwich. Almost the same price as Artemis, but much hotter. The shop is simply beautifully decorated, we felt very comfortable. Thank you very much for your hospitality, we would love to come back.

Yesterday I ate there with my girlfriend, the cook was very friendly, we received recommendations about the food. We ordered two of the burgers and portion of fries. Everything got done quickly and it was massive so rich and full. It was amazing, left us speechless!

So I'll put it this way: if you have no idea what you're offering, you should stay away from it. I have the “john.f. “Kennedy chopped cheese” delivered, and let me put it this way: good and tasty is something completely different. Those were 2 different worlds, only I got the bad one of both. The meat on top was burnt, unchewable and the minced meat in the bun was indefinably seasoned and matchy. Overall it's just a dark mess. Unfortunately, this shows me that if one restaurant has too many, 161 YES REALLY!!! Offering 161 different dishes on Uber Eats, it can't be good! At the price of €50 it wasn't worth 1%. You don't have to cover everything on cramp. The food I ordered was far from what you would expect from this food.

I ordered through the website. Right at the beginning I got a message saying that the order was delayed and would arrive in an hour, which wasn't a problem at all. After the food didn't arrive at the specified time, I called and was told the driver was on his way. After that call, I had to call 2 more times because the employees didn't contact the delivery person and I didn't know when the food would finally arrive. The last time I called, they said that the driver had been contacted and that he should arrive in 5 minutes. In the end he only arrived in 15 minutes and we had to wait a total of 2 hours and 20 minutes for our food. When the order finally arrived, we noticed that it was cold and the nachos were soggy. It also said online that there were dips with it, but these were missing. Also the meat, which you could choose to accompany the fries. Unfortunately, after the previous story, I didn't feel like contacting me again and saying that the products were still missing. After this experience I will definitely not eat or order here again.

Food took a little while to arrive because it was cooked fresh, and was amazing when it arrived. Possibly the best burger I've had, certainly the biggest. 'Spectacular' indeed.

Had a horrendous experience at Lily Burger this evening. Wanted to treat my daughter to a burger and had read good things about this place. I made a reservation earlier in the day. Arrived and no one greeted us so we asked if we should just sit down as it looked super casual and was very empty. The guy behind the bar (turned out to be the owner) was eventually summoned and he looked particularly unhappy to see us. I explained we had a reservation so he reluctantly let us have a table. To say we didn't feel welcome was an understatement. About 5 minutes after sitting down the waitress came and asked if we would mind moving tables as there was a large group coming. We were surprised and pointed out again that we had a reservation but we moved anyway. Literally 2 minutes later she came back and asked us to move to the other side of the restaurant. We were obviously pretty outraged at this as we had already moved all our stuff and got comfortable again. Then ...and you're not going to believe this....she came back again and said they needed us to move again because another big group was coming. At this point I refused and said it was completely unacceptable and ridiculous. The owner guy came over and basically insisted we move. He was completely unapologetic. In fact he was dismissive and completely disrespectful. I honestly would have walked out at that point if it wasn't getting late and my daughter was really hungry. I also realised we had to get our order in quickly if a load of people were about to arrive. We found ourselves sitting at the back of the restaurant in the worst seat by the toilet. At this point I should point out that the waitress was just following the orders of the owner and cannot be blamed in any way for any of this. She took our order and brought our food pretty quickly. The burgers were really good as is reflected in our review. But I was so angry by the time we ate it was very hard to relax and have a nice time. The owner of this business had decided it was fine to treat us appallingly because he had the prospect of a full restaurant. No apologies were forthcoming at the end of our meal. In fact he had the audacity to stare rudely at us as we left. I don't think he'd done himself any favours accepting the large group bookings because as we left only one of the party of about 20 people had received any food and when it arrived there was a round of applause from all the others that were still waiting. One last thing. The restaurant is in a different venue to the one depicted in the photos. It's a lot more basic, 'grungy' and the tables are basically planks paid across drinks crates. The one star for ambience reflects the quite uncomfortable seats and lack of atmosphere.

Was eating there recently and can recommend the sandwich that they have now to everyone. Employee of the year for me Daniel Supertyp 👏🏽 Finally someone who can read the customer's wishes and prepare them quickly and cleanly.

Food was ok, online reservation didn't work well (did they forget??). We waited over 30 minutes to order and another hour for the food to arrive. We had to actively ask for the food to come. The side dishes were forgotten.

There was 30 minutes between “you’ll have a place in five minutes” and “we can’t do magic”.

Today (after being inspired by Tiktok) we were in the new branch on Schlossstr. to visit. The worst experience we have ever had with a “food spot”. It was unclean, every table was dirty, the waitress threw around technical jargon from Neukölln. We felt extremely uncomfortable as the seating area absolutely stank of fish. The menu was 1. very expensive and 2. “packaged” in a folder. Simply an unpleasant experience after the restaurants online looked so beautiful and, above all, diverse. We won't be coming back.

Top store for years. There are a lot of burger shops in Berlin, but in my opinion Lilyburger doesn't just make burgers, but really art. Be it visually, as well as the taste and quality of the food, simply top!

I have rarely had such an extraordinary burger experience as at “Lily”! From the first bite it was clear that the work here was done with love and dedication. The burgers are not only delicious, but truly a masterpiece. The meat – a juicy, perfectly grilled patty – has an intense, natural flavor that is perfectly accentuated by the careful preparation. The bun is soft but firm enough to hold the generous patty and toppings without falling apart. And the homemade sauces? Simply indescribably good! Each individual sauce harmonizes perfectly with the other ingredients and takes the taste of the burger to a whole new level. The selection of burgers is huge, and each one seems to play with creative, high-quality ingredients and combinations. The combination of savory, sweet and smoky was just perfect. The accompaniments – especially the handmade fries – were also to die for: crispy, golden brown and perfectly seasoned. The service is particularly noteworthy. The team is incredibly friendly, attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. You immediately notice that quality is important here - and you can also tell in the taste. Conclusion: The "Lily Burger" is not just a burger shop, but an experience in itself. Everything is just right here – from the taste to the atmosphere to the service. For anyone who loves exceptional burgers, this place is an absolute must. I will definitely come back!

We came based on a recommendation because this was probably the greatest burger shop in Berlin. I can't confirm. The burger is big and tastes good, but everything is way too overpriced. Furthermore, it is very narrow and loud there and the "tables" are partly coffee tables where you don't know how to eat without soiling your pants. This is quite thoughtless. Apart from the disgusting toilets, even if that's probably intentional. Now something unsightly like that is considered a “scene” in Berlin. In the end I said to myself, it was delicious, but I don't have to go there again, there are much better things in terms of price-performance ratio and I don't have to go through this colorful variety.

I've eaten a lot of hyped things in Berlin now, but at Lily's the hype is real. This tastes like it's from another dimension. I came from Karlsruhe specifically to eat it. You're awesome. We finished eating at 11:30 p.m. We had an XXL Speedy Gonzales Tower and an XXL New York burger. These burgers are from another world😍 big respect to the kitchen for creating such masterpieces😍😋 I'll definitely be back👌

I was excited about TikTok, went to Schloss Straße and was disappointed 😞. I think that's good when working with gloves, but collecting the money with the gloves. Hygiene regulations, well, walking back and forth to the kitchen with jackets on, which isn't so nice. The shop was really cold and we had to wait a long time for our food even though there was nothing to do. The fries were fried three times and the citizens nothing special. I didn't get an invoice either. It's clear why a visit to the tax office would be really necessary and they always have the bad recessions deleted because they only want top ratings!! I have pictures, but I won't post them because it's not worth it! My recommendation for you is to spend more time on service, to create a better atmosphere and to be there for the customers. I've been a restaurateur for 30 years, but it's a complete disaster!

Disappointing as a vegan. I ordered, so can't comment on the service or facility. We ordered 3 dishes - the chicken, the ribs and the Philly cheese steak - which all consisted of the same vegan mince that wasn't even seasoned differently. Ribs were barely marinated. When ordering, non-vegan sauces were suggested for vegan dishes without any labeling. The food may be good for meat eaters, but putting "Vegan" in the name of my restaurant makes me wish there was a little more consideration and inspiration for the matter.

Apart from the fact that the waitress doesn't listen to you and you repeat yourself & she cheekily says "I heard it", we had 8 + 4 chicken tenders or whatever they are called and we were there as a large group and wanted to pay separately. The 8 tenders were paid and then the 4. Then I wanted to pay mine and saw the tenders were open on the cash register and wanted to pay them because I thought my girlfriend had forgotten. My friends pointed out to me that they paid and he said yes but I didn't take it off the ad. Then why do we have to pay AGAIN? Long discussion then the nice boss came. We explain the situation to him and he says everything is going well and we say no, if something is open then it's ok, very accommodating but twisting the facts even though we have paid is blatant. Then we talk NORMALLY and he says, don't scream like that, very very unprofessional, our feet will never go there again The cherry on top: the food was a disaster. Mc'n cheese tasted like water Meat was medium wear instead of wear and the workers and the boss were a complete disaster. We hope that other customers never experience this. Be careful, dear friends

We had the Birria Melt Sandwich and the Philly Cheese Steak. The birria sandwich was incredible - for dessert we had a pancake that was out of this world too. All highly recommended. In addition, the boys were all very accommodating and polite. We felt very comfortable. Big praise!

Great shop, the burgers were incredibly good! It takes a while for the food to arrive, but it is really different and much better than what every other burger shop has to offer. The chicken waffle was also good and something new, but not recommended given the fantastic burgers.

It's my first time in Berlin and I found this restaurant on Tiktok and I have to say, I don't regret coming there one bit!! The ambience is so nice but also chilled, you automatically feel comfortable. The service was great, as was the waitress, more than friendly and personable. The food was truly a 12/10! I can only recommend it to everyone. In addition to the food, the highlight was that I was able to immortalize myself on the wall, super cool!! I fell in LOVE with the restaurant!!

Visit on Sunday (12/15/24). I can only agree with the previous reviews with one star. The waiting time was almost 1 hour, when the food finally came the taste was simply not there. I haven't eaten so badly in a long time.

The selection of vegan options is simply impressive. The food impressed our entire group (whether it was vegan or with meat, everyone was impressed) and the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. We'll definitely be back!

The restaurant is taking legal action against negative reviews in order to put itself in a better position. My review was already over 8 months old, so of course I no longer had a receipt to prove that I was really a customer. Unfortunately, Google reviews are no longer worth anything because they don't reflect reality. My rating of the food, service and ambience remains the same, but with such a ridiculous approach I have to revise my rating to 1 star. Just an indictment... Let's see how long the review stays until I have to write a new one. I've now made a special effort to look for a photo of my burger.

We were here for the first time today. All I can say is sensational. Everything is freshly prepared, so the wait is worth it. Flavor explosion, great homemade sauces, great meat. We have never eaten or seen anything like it. A completely different league! Seating could be a little more comfortable. Very nice staff with patience and good advice.

I was there with a few friends. The food was very tasty, especially the meat from the burger was great. The toilets still looked half under construction with a time switch on the motion detector in the men's toilet that was far too short. Prices range from the average price for a burger to exorbitant sums on the menu. The drinks were also slightly higher in price, but their house iced tea was very tasty, but it could have been bigger. Directly under the S-Bahn and long-distance railway tracks of the DB devalue the surrounding area a little. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit.

My daughter was eating in the store with her friends, she doesn't earn her own money yet and as a parent the money doesn't grow in my pockets, they have paid the price that they should pay. This wasn't enough for the service person and so the service person changed it three times until it was ok for themselves. And I think that's an absolute bummer because you should know what prices you have in your store and not try to make the children look like they can't do math and ask for more than what's on the menu. Nevertheless, the children enjoyed the food. Tip You should know your own prices that you have in the store.

I ordered takeout from Lily’s and tried a double burger, the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, and fries. The burger—especially the beef patty—was insanely delicious: juicy, perfectly seasoned, and unlike any other burger I’ve ever had. Honestly, no other patty I’ve tried can compare. The Philly cheesesteak sandwich was also a hit. The meat was tender, the cheese perfectly melty, and every bite was packed with flavor. It had that classic, authentic taste that made it incredibly satisfying. I also have to give a shoutout to the chef, who was so friendly, pleasant, and helpful with his recommendation (which doesn’t happen very often in Berlin!). He clearly has magic skills when it comes to grilling the perfect patty. Overall, all items were fantastic, but the burger truly stood out. I’m definitely coming back to Lily’s for more!

Cool shop with very friendly staff. It's not really comfortable to sit in and I think it took a bit of a long time. But the food was super tasty and fresh. Very creative burger selection and really something different.

It's been a while since I was there. On my first visit, I had ribs that were supposed to come with bacon, but they weren't available, so he gave me a finely chopped steak on top and served it with a small bowl of coleslaw. The ribs were very tender and buttery and literally fell off the bone, the spices came through well and the barbecue sauce also had a delicious smoky note. I ordered mac and cheese with it and I have to say it was the tastiest mac and cheese I've had in Charlottenburg so far. The man behind the grill and service was very personable and friendly. And the price-performance ratio is also okay. Definitely a good address if you want to enjoy delicious food.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The reality of the place doesn’t match the online photos at all—it markets itself as alternative and unique, but there’s nothing positive to take away from it. We waited over an hour for our food, only to be served a lackluster meal. It’s hard to imagine how a place could sustain itself with this level of quality. The men’s restroom is extremely cramped, and the cook was noticeably rude and unapproachable. When it came time to pay, we were asked to pay as a group because they didn’t have enough change. This could have been easily avoided if they accepted card payments. In short, I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are far better options in the area, like Burgermeister, where you can get a quicker and more enjoyable meal.

Doesn't look like the photos. I don't know if these are old photos from another location, but it has more of a bistro character there. Unfortunately the food wasn't good either. Onion rings were dripping with fat and the mac n cheese buns only tasted like dough. Also really juicy prices. Not recommended. There are some local places in Berlin that either have the right price and/or make better burgers. Wouldn't go back.
