Lily Burger in Berlin

The food was great, the prices aren't exactly cheap, and the air quality inside isn't so good. I'd actually give it 3.5 stars, but since the food is really excellent, I'm giving it 4.

The food took over two hours to arrive, which is unacceptable. On top of that, the burger was incredibly soggy and not even what I ordered. If I could return it, I would.

Unfortunately, I can't confirm all the hype. The seating area is rather uncomfortable and small. The benches are very wobbly. It took a very long time for the burgers to be ready. And most importantly, the burgers were unfortunately dry and partly burnt, so my child didn't want to eat them. There was only one person in the kitchen, who was also handling the cash register. He definitely needed more support; he seemed a bit overwhelmed.

Big talk, but he delivered again! I personally love the social media presence of the self-proclaimed Smashburger Killer, and he absolutely lives up to the hype! The burgers are sensational. I had the 250g black Angus dry-aged steak burger and the lemon garlic tenders. Both are unparalleled! The ambiance isn't really my thing, hence the slight deduction. But for me, there's no question about the service and the food. Outstanding!

The service and person taking our order were great and lovely! The food itself wasn't. The burgers were small and unimpressive. The meat was dry. The sauces were unimaginative. The fries were okay. The worst parts were the "Mac and cheese" and "coleslaw". If if I'd buy Mac and cheese at the store, I'd have to actively try very hard to achieve a worse result than whatever yellow in yellow substance is being served here. For a similar price but better bang for your buck, head a bit farther up the street towards Schloß Charlottenburg. There is a nicer burger place to the right, just 25-ish meters away. Lastly, again the staff was lovely and chill.

Delivery time was extremely long. The macaroni and cheese were soggy. I'm unfortunately not satisfied, and the burgers are definitely not the best in Europe... they're missing something.

Pathetic. Three hours after ordering, the order was canceled, re-added, and extended multiple times. We called five times. In the end, it was canceled, and we were told to order again. However, the restaurant had already closed when Uber Eats reported it and didn't reopen as promised. We were simply lied to...

I ordered two veggie sandwiches and after an 80minute wait I received two chicken sandwiches without the sides mentioned on Ubereats. I called the restaurant and they didn’t help at all, just said to make the claim via ubereats, which only has an AI menu for claims, and then order again, so I have to wait for another 80minutes for the right order? No compensation, no help, either from the restaurant or Ubereats. Terrible service, not inclusive at all for a place called “Vegan”.

At two o'clock in the morning on a Sunday, the friendly gentleman conjured up such a delicious vegan burger for us that it bordered on a miracle.

The food was very good, both the vegetarian mac 'n cheese and the vegan meal with burger, fries, and vegan mac 'n cheese! The service was very friendly. However, due to the ambiance, we can only give it 3 stars overall. All the walls were covered in graffiti, and some marks hadn't been cleaned in the women's restroom. The men's restroom wasn't particularly clean either.

7 years ago i went to lilyburger at friedrichshain for the first time and it was the best Restaurant experience of my life up to that point, since then I go to lilyburger every year once just to test how it has (unfortunately) degraded over the years. After 2019 the friedrichshain lilyburger served disgusting food for abysmal prices and never improved ever again. I tried this Lilyburger in Charlottenburg once and I am seriously shocked on how terrible of a stay I had here. The girl working service had a terrible vibe, which complemented the bitter vegan burger I ordered perfectly. It was terrible and seeing how this store has more than 3 Stars made it obligatory for me to post this. I am so mad about paying 30 Euro for that joke of a meal, even after a year after. I should have spoken up, but i am a shy guy. Hope you guys improve or decide to close down this establishment for good.

I'm only reviewing the food here: I ordered from Uber Eats and unfortunately, I have to say it didn't taste good at all. The BBQ sauce was very acidic, the chicken was tender, and the fries were okay in terms of texture. I didn't find the taste good, and the way it arrived wasn't very appetizing either.

We really hated this place. We had to ask for ketchup five times — seriously? The burger came out burnt, we sent it back, and they literally returned the same one with the black parts scraped off. It looked disgusting, like someone had messed with my food. Terrible food, terrible service. Don’t waste your time or money here.

Don't order from there at all. The worst thing there is. They take over an hour to prepare the food and then they get rude on the phone or make fun of you by saying it's on its way even though you can see the driver standing at the shop. Never again. Your money will be refunded. So far the shop has never managed to deliver the order correctly. The order always came in a different way. I've ordered three times and each time the order was sometimes different. Really incompetent. The food isn't really convincing either. Tacos are really dry and bland, the Philly cheese sandwich is the same and a joke, the cheese sauce is made of chemical cheese and is inedible. The burgers are much too dry. Basically everything is just too dry. Don't order from there under any circumstances unless you want to throw money away.

I left the store 5 minutes ago, so the review is fresh, just as fresh as the food. It's my cousin's birthday and he's always watching the videos on TikTok, so he wanted to eat there today. I have to say: the staff are super friendly, the food was prepared quickly, and because we used gloves while eating, the food was even juicier. The variety of sauces, the individual spice levels, and the selection of snacks are amazing. The burger was also juicy. We ate burgers, fries, chicken wings, tenders, and ribs. So, we ate quite a bit. I highly recommend it. Cheers to the chef, the nice cashier, and also the manager, whom we met just before leaving. We'll be back, with reinforcements. Cheers, Hamad & Ahmad

We went to Lily Burger last Tuesday. We caught their attention thanks to a TikTok video showing a cheesesteak being prepared. So, we went after our workout and tried it out. First, the ambiance: The decor is more like Kberg, the walls are covered in graffiti. If you like it, I don't care, as long as the food is good. The decor is simple, which isn't a bad thing. People who expect fancy food are in the wrong place. Service: We received a friendly welcome, and our questions were answered to our satisfaction. He also gave us some advice. We had two cheesesteak menus: a 250g burger (I forgot the name) and a 125g burger, along with a couple of drinks. We had to wait a bit, which we didn't like at all because we're very impatient when we're hungry, but the wait was worth it. Food: I haven't had a Philly cheesesteak in Berlin yet, even close to being good. It's prepared from the right cut of ribeye, and they ask how you want it (well-done, medium, medium-rare, and rare), which is rather rare in a diner in Berlin. The cheesesteak came with crispy fries, mac and cheese (it was included, but I'm not a fan of that), and homemade coleslaw. The cheesesteak was delicious and cooked to perfection, very close to the original in Philly in terms of taste, only a bit smaller, but as a meal, I was sufficiently full. My American friend was surprisingly very satisfied with his burger (he worked in various restaurants and diners in San Francisco and has three restaurants here in Berlin). He described the burger as good, which is a huge compliment. The burger was grilled rare and very juicy. Since I haven't had a burger there yet, I'll be trying everything on the menu soon, including the fried chicken burgers. Conclusion: I highly recommend the burgers and cheesesteaks. Cheesesteak rating: 10/10. I can't say anything about the burgers yet, except that my companions were very satisfied. You can order side dishes, but you don't have to, so you can eat more burgers, etc. One really positive thing is that Lily Burger is open until 3:00 a.m. So, if you're ever in jail, you know where to get something in Charlottenburg. The price-performance ratio is also good, so you can't complain. Update soon! @everyone, don't be so lazy and order the burgers and have them delivered. Fresh from the grill to your table always tastes better.

Your videos with Holle21615 on YouTube are beyond embarrassing. Arrogance, bragging like you're in the star category, and the highlight is the incredibly dirty kitchen. Less chatter, more cleaning.

The owner is super friendly, gave us good advice, and took his time. The food is freshly prepared, which is why it takes a little longer, but it's worth it! The tacos are absolutely amazing, a definite recommendation!

If you want to eat here, don't order from Wolt. The food was ice cold, all the packaging was open, and it was so messy that everything was leaking. The meat in the burger wasn't medium but raw, which I can't eat while pregnant. Unfortunately, the tacos had almost no flavor. The sides from the burger menu (salad and mac and cheese) were completely lacking. Spent almost €30 for a complete disappointment :( Such a shame, I was really looking forward to it after seeing the good reviews!

They have gluten-free burgers, and they were super delicious! Highly recommended. It was totally worth it :) Super great place and great atmosphere. I'd go back anytime!

The worst burger of my life. The bun was so moist that it completely fell apart when I lifted it. The mac & cheese was inedible—I stopped eating after one forkful, it was so disgusting. Even Kraft mac & cheese tastes 100x better. Both were cold and simply disgusting. Only the fries were good—and ironically, the only thing that was warm. Never again.

The cheese on the cheese fries is terrible, please avoid it. The burger was supposed to be thick and medium rare but I got a dry piece of meat instead. Disappointing from what I saw on the previous reviews. Maybe I just came on a very busy slot, as I had to wait quite long, and that's why I give 2 stars.

I was really disappointed with my visit. The food was absolutely delicious – the burgers were poorly prepared and bland. The mac and cheese was so watery, and the pasta was extremely overcooked. On top of that, there was an extremely long wait, even though the place wasn't particularly busy. What I found most disappointing, though, was the hygiene: The tables were sticky, the floor dirty, the kitchen filthy, and I don't even want to talk about the restrooms. Overall, everything seemed unkempt. Definitely not a place I would recommend or visit again. And the decor doesn't match the pictures at all!! The service was nice and tried their best, even though it's a self-service place!

The sight of this has put me out of my appetite. You should rethink your packaging. The burger arrives wrapped in soggy, soggy paper. The mac and cheese is completely unkind and tasteless. My husband and I went to eat at Der Schlossstrasse last night. We ordered at the window and when we went in to pay, we were shocked at how dirty the area where the food is prepared was. Partly because Lieferando orders got in the way, it was really busy for the two guys, but that's not how a food area should and shouldn't look. The food was okay, but not as it is portrayed on Instagram or Facebook. Let's just say we were full, but not with a "WOW" effect. The only positive thing was that the two guys were really nice and accommodating. But that is also the only highlight we had at Lily Burger. Guys, please close the shop for a day and give it a thorough cleaning!!!

I remember Lily Burger from its old location, so I'm only giving it 2 stars for the essentially nonexistent ambiance. The selection has unfortunately become much smaller. Nevertheless, I really like the concept of offering every burger in every variation – meat, veggie, vegan. It was just as delicious as it used to be, and the service was very friendly, too, although it's self-service now. The price-performance ratio is good for me. But: everything used to be better ;)

Behaviour is not good with customers

Extremely delicious food! We had to wait a bit, and we could hear the arguments in the kitchen, but the food was still really delicious. The fries had the perfect flavor and were very crispy, and the burgers were also really delicious. I've had the best Beyond Meat ever here, so it's also very suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Never eat from this shop because my friend who is worked there and they pay8€ per hour and they make in a filthy atmosphere and working conditions the quality of products was 0 and most the time cheese a pasta they served was old never go this.beef is rotten one too

We ordered from Uber Eats at 12:20 am. We called specifically to see how long it would take, but he said a maximum of half an hour. After an hour, my husband called and was told that the delivery person had apparently gone to the wrong part of town. That was at 1:30 am. My husband said we were going to sleep and that he should cancel it. At 2:46 am, my doorbell rang and the delivery person was seriously downstairs, over an hour late, and why they even rang the bell at 3 am, I don't know. The food was incredibly cold, the fries were ice-cold and soggy, and the burger was raw on the inside but burnt on the outside. Out of goodwill, we tried to take a few bites of the burger, but two hours later we ended up with food poisoning or something similar. Never again!

In my opinion, the service was very poor and the kitchen was very dirty, so I will definitely never eat there again and I regret it very much. It's about the principle that with that money, I could buy groceries and feed 20 people. I simply regret visiting that store, driving there, and these reviews posted here. A burger in the three-digit range may attract attention, but it also raises the question of whether gastronomy should be understood as such: as an experience for social media or as honest craftsmanship with a fair price-performance ratio. As a guest, you feel less at the center of attention and more like part of a marketing experiment. I hope the operator reflects on whether this approach will build trust in the long term.

We were the only customers at lunchtime. The burgers were freshly prepared (which naturally meant it took a while), and everything arrived piping hot. A bit greasy (but they provided plastic gloves), but super tasty, and the portions were more than generous. Very friendly and attentive. The food isn't exactly cheap, but then, you don't go out for such a great meal every day. 😉

I just ordered from Wolt and specified no secret sauce, but it still came with secret sauce. I'm allergic to mayo and threw the whole sandwich away. Thanks for that. The one for the cheesesteak went straight into the trash.

The cooking levels are also good: Whether ordered medium or medium-rare – the width of the meat means everything is medium-rare. For me, it was the last time.

I ordered a "Classic Cheeseburger" from Lily Burger today. The burger patties are high quality, and you can definitely tell by the taste of the meat. However, there's a major problem here, and the owner should be informed. The "employees" seem to do whatever they want (this is the second time this has happened to me). I ordered two Classic Cheeseburgers today and received two burgers with bacon and jam. My order instructions were completely ignored. I'm not a big fan of bacon, and jam with meat is especially bad for me. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat the burgers properly. In the end, I only ate the meat because, as I mentioned, it's really good quality. What a shame.

Absolutely fantastic burgers to be found here! We tried the Original Chicken, Hot Honey Chicken and beef Tacos and all were fantastic! Very nice chef who is churning out top notch food here! Plenty of delivery drivers coming for pick ups as well which has to be a good sign it’s popular with locals!

Side dishes were all cold. Unjustified prices. Long wait times. The paint on the furniture is chipping and sticking everywhere!

I have to admit that the burgers aren't bad, but I worked there and wasn't paid, and I didn't have a contract. The work environment was very unfriendly. Once, the cook spilled the ketchup bucket on the dirty kitchen floor. I had to pick it up with a spoon, but it was still being used. In the back room, the manager and cook almost came to blows, and not just once in three weeks. All in all, a very poor rating from me.

First of all, I have to say that this burger place unfortunately gave me stomach problems because the patties on the double burger were unfortunately very burnt. Furthermore, you can't sit comfortably because the bases of the benches and tables are made of old beverage crates, which means there's not much legroom. What I just noticed is that almost all of the pictures of the place are misleading, as they don't reflect reality.

We came here randomly on a rainy day, and we found a real treasure. This place is great, the setting is quite atypical and subversive. As vegetarians, we were really surprised by the protein’s high quality for a low price like that?! It was an awesome experience and the chief was adorable. It’s a must!!!!!!

We ordered the Speedy Chili Burger as part of our meal, and it tasted amazing. I ordered my burger with two Pettys, and that's definitely enough for a couple. The staff was super friendly, and we'd definitely go back.

The burger with a Black Angus patty (250g) was delicious. The patty tastes fantastic, and the meat is of the highest quality. The fries and coleslaw complemented the burger very well and were great.

The food was really bad. The meat on the cheeseburger was bloody red on the inside and black on the outside. The Philly cheesesteak was 80% cheese and 20% meat. The mac and cheese was also unfortunately very bland and hard. It's a shame to pay so much money for it and then get this. I'd rather not give it any stars. A waste of money.

Not really a restaurant and more of a fast food joint. Never seen so much go into food only to get so little. Preparation took a little too long but I eventually got my burger which was truly a paradox. It was well-cooked without being satisfying, and had various accoutrements like sauce, cheese, beef bacon and pickles, but truly lacked any taste. Cole slaw on the side was just ok, and while the addition of zatar was an admirable attempt at creativity, it really doesn’t work. Anyway, I was hungry and it was there so I scarfed it down and left quickly. Not a place to return to for a truly good burger.
