I had the pleasure of dining at Trattoria Remo's, and it was a fantastic experience. Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly and attentive team who made the evening a pleasant one from the very beginning. The ambiance is very cozy, perfect for a relaxed dinner or a special occasion/evening. The menu offers a great selection of dishes, prepared with great attention to detail. I was particularly impressed by a dish created by the owner, which was highly recommended to me and tasted simply outstanding. Thank you so much for this. We were absolutely thrilled with the food: fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and lovingly prepared. The spaghetti with shrimp in a white wine sauce was a particular highlight! The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy and inviting, making you feel immediately at home. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend it to everyone!

Great ambience in the winding restaurant, provides peace and quiet even when the house is full. Large portions of pasta definitely fill you up, while portions of meat tend to lack side dishes. - Daily specials are definitely an eye-catcher 😋

The restaurant is very conveniently located near the Reeperbahn, so it was full when we visited. There is a loud, yet somehow cozy tavern atmosphere, which is further enhanced by the location in the basement. There seem to be a lot of regular guests, it felt like every other person greeted the waiter with a hug or a handshake. We were there at prime time, Saturday at 7:00 p.m., it was full, cramped and loud. You have to like that! The food was very tasty, from pizza to ravioli and pasta to lamb fillet. However, the portions of the meat dishes are very small. Some people might still go home hungry afterwards. Maybe I'll try the shop again at lunchtime, in the evening the waiters were extremely stressed. Bread was only available upon request and the menus were only available after 15 minutes...

In any case! Very tasty food, great ambience and affordable prices! Any time!

The waiters were super nice and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy. As a starter we had carpaccio, which was OK. As a main course, pizza funghi and seafood pasta. Unfortunately, due to the dough and the taste, the pizza felt suspiciously like frozen goods. The seafood pasta was just bland and lacking in flavor. We would rate the red wine Primitivo and the espresso as very good.

The three of us went to Remo's relatively early on a Saturday (5:00 p.m.). We were warmly welcomed and the restaurant was simple but with a pleasant atmosphere. We were served quickly. The drinks came quickly and the food didn't take long to arrive either. The pasta and fish were really delicious! Even when the store filled up around 6:30 p.m., it was still possible to have a pleasant conversation. Clear recommendation for those who want to eat something delicious away from the hustle and bustle of the Reeperbahn.

Incredibly loud and relaxed place with constantly shouting waiters. At the entrance we were informed by the boss that we could only use a table for 1.5 hours. No problem for us. After 40 minutes we were rudely asked to pay. I was then allowed to extinguish my drink. Pizza was absolutely below average. Never again!

The food was incredibly delicious. The service was attentive but not particularly friendly either. When it comes to friendliness, the younger gentlemen are welcome to go the extra mile. However, the food was super tasty and that is the most important point in my opinion. The restaurant is somehow quaint and cozy. The location is simply perfect to spend a great evening.

Great atmospheric Italian restaurant in a location between Kiez and Schanze with friendly and courteous service. The price-performance ratio of the pizza is great. The beef fillet is also a delight. Limoncello on the house. What more could you want? We'd love to come back!

The store is a scam! the pizza is anything but freshly made, frozen and supermarket level. In my opinion, I don't recommend it, the only good thing is that it is warm here. Pasta is very tasty...

We were warmly welcomed and shown to the table. It took a while for the orders to be taken, but the food and drinks came quite quickly. The pasta was al dente and the salmon in the cream sauce was plentiful. The pizza is light and tasty with toppings. The tiramisu was a bit Christmassy made with orange and also delicious. The prices are absolutely fine. You can walk a few steps from the Reeperbahn. Feel free to try it.

Absolute disaster!! I made a reservation and even called by phone to ask if the reservation was made. I was told by phone that it was confirmed and I could come over. When I arrived, the boss insulted me as to why I was there and that he had no room. I haven't experienced anything so unprofessional in a long time! I am totally shocked at how customers are treated here. Never again!!

One star because 0 stars wasn't possible. Back in August I made reservations for a Christmas party for 10 people, which was confirmed to me both by phone and email. Today, the day before the Christmas party, I called again to ask if we could book two people in, as I haven't been able to reach anyone by phone or email for weeks. So when I got through today, they were a bit confused because there couldn't be any bookings tomorrow and they had canceled everything because there was a bigger event planned. We have received neither a call nor an email regarding this. We were basically canceled the day before, we would have stood in front of the store and would have had to reorient ourselves. Spontaneous. On a Friday evening. With 12 people. So in short, even a confirmation from the restaurant is nothing but smoke and mirrors, you can't rely on it.

We felt very comfortable. Luckily we weren't there that late. With eight people you have to get a seat in the early evening without a reservation. We barely sat down before all the tables were occupied. The food was super tasty, everyone was totally satisfied. We will definitely come back again when we visit Hamburg again 🙂👍🏻

Absolutely trendy shop and sensational food! The service is very fast and all dishes are super tasty & fresh! Price-performance ratio very suitable. On Saturdays it usually gets very crowded and you have to make a reservation. Lots of young people are there and celebrities can be seen here every now and then! I can only recommend it! Quite a nice boss by the way, who always makes a very warm impression and sometimes even has a drink with you.

I would only use the pizza as a doormat and that would be a disgrace for my shoes. I'm happy to leave the diarrhea at the restaurant. The pizza was so bad it would cause world hunger. The parmesan on the pizza is more like a fitted sheet than an animal product. With the amount of oil on the pizza I could fry jumbo packs of fries for half a year. If I had one wish, I wouldn't want world peace but rather the demolition of this mess.

The pizza was simply subpar - see picture. Unfortunately, this doesn't have much to do with pizza. The “Parmesan” - a rather chemical cheese substitute product - tasted even worse than the way it was prepared visually. At least the atmosphere was cozy and the boss gave us a few Ramazotti as an apology.

The food was really bad. The pizza really tastes identical from the freezer. Too much oil everywhere and completely carelessly done. We definitely won't eat here anymore. The food is so bad that even the staff or ambience can't improve the rating.

We have been guests of the owner Rudi several times and each time it was the right decision to visit him. The food, staff, ambience and especially the owner are simply outstanding. You don't often get such great value for money in Hamburg anymore. This store is something special and recommended for everyone. I'm also looking forward to many more evenings at Trattoria Remos.

Impossible store with terrible service. There were 11 of us and after 1 hour (the starters had just been reserved) the landlord came and asked how long we wanted to stay. Because they supposedly still needed the tables. Apparently we should have ordered more wine. That being said; The quality of the food was below average and carelessly prepared, the Prosecco was poor. Ultimately not worth the money!

I wouldn't give it fewer stars unless there was something "bad". And that wasn't it. The quality just wasn't particularly high. Tomato mozzarella with pesto on top? You can do that - but the tomatoes and mozzarella had so little flavor that the pesto drowned it out. The pickled pepperoni finally put an end to the Italian style of mozzarella as a starter. The pizza tasted okay and the quality of the topping was much better - but the Italian flavor is missing here too, it was definitely not baked in a stone oven at over 300°C, as the edge was evenly light without bubbles or brown spots. Service was also rather mediocre, there wasn't really an opportunity to order coffee or a digestive after the meal. There was kindly a schnapps on the house with the bill - but even if it was free, the grappa fit seamlessly into the rest of the experience: you definitely get something for your money here and it's not bad - you just shouldn't expect authentic Italian food.

The Trattoria Remo in Hamburg impresses with an excellent selection of Italian delicacies. The varied starter platter in particular offers a great start to the menu and leaves nothing to be desired. The fillet was perfectly cooked and of high quality. The service is super friendly and attentive, which further enriches the visit. Absolutely recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere!

Conditions like at the main train station. The waiters shout through half the restaurant. When ordering, a sound like in the barracks. Incredibly loud. I have never experienced such an un-relaxed meal. Never again👎

It was incredibly loud, I've never experienced anything like it. Every space is used for tables and chairs, you can't get up without bothering your neighbor. Food wasn't good either. Pizza was tasteless, pasta was fine. Bruschetta was best. Waiters tried very hard, but they can hardly serve the people at the tables as it is so tight.

You've never eaten so relaxed, you barely understood your own words. The tables are too close together. The pizza wasn't typical for an Italian restaurant, so it wasn't good, the pasta sauce was tasteless. We preferred to skip dessert... No recommendation from us. The only thing that deserves stars is the staff.

This shop has been my favorite Italian restaurant in Hamburg for 7 years. You can hardly find such a price-performance ratio here anymore! I recently went to Trattoria Remos and absolutely loved it! The pizza was simply incredible - the dough was perfectly crispy, the toppings were fresh and aromatic, and the cheese was wonderfully tender. It was honestly the tastiest pizza I've ever eaten. The service was also excellent, the staff friendly and attentive. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. I was here with my family in late June 2024. Two kids on 7 years. The service was good, it was busy in the resturant. Many customers . All of us had Lasagna al forno. It was OK, but no Italian ;) A bit too much cheese. Price was fine.

Super easy to get a reservation for a bigger group (called on Tuesday to reserve for 14 people for Friday), the waiters are very accommodating – they were even blasting the music at some point for one of the tables and our table joined in loud singing! As per food, I would definitely rather recommend going for pasta than for pizza. Pizza was very small and it seemed like it was a frozen one, while all pasta sauces that I tried were great!

It was super full, but we were greeted warmly and offered a nice seat straight away. Friendly waiters and the food was simply wonderful. Full recommendation!!!

Great tent, just be careful when paying, the waiter quickly added 10 euros when paying with your debit card, so check the amount you pay carefully!!
