Lila Sushi & Thai kitchen in Dresden

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was very friendly, attentive, and courteous! Highly recommended restaurant with a modern ambiance.

Today we ate at Lila. As long-time fans of Asian food, we went there for dinner (Wednesday, around 6:00 PM). The street side seemed too noisy, and there was "only" room for a maximum of four people. Inside, there were plenty of options on the upper level. It also offers a nice view of the street and the people. Everything was clean and tidy. The design isn't very "Thai," but it's appealing. We received friendly and welcoming service. We ordered appetizers, hot dishes, and a vegetarian sushi menu. We shared everything so everyone could try something. The drinks arrived quickly, followed by the appetizers shortly after. We had to wait maybe 15 minutes for the main course (it felt like it, not measured). They provide comparatively high-quality chopsticks. For our appetizer, we had chicken summer rolls. Decent portions with a light, spicy sauce. Larger than what you'd normally get. This was accompanied by a papaya salad with a proper Thai spice 🥵. It was quite tasty, but we felt it lacked a bit of garlic, the taste of (dried) shrimp, and it could have used a bit more peanuts. As frequent Thailand vacationers, we try Pad Thai almost everywhere. It was quite okay here. Unfortunately, the seasoning at Lila's was a bit too light for us. I would have liked more garlic, tamarind paste, fish sauce, and oyster sauce. Since the latter was somehow lacking, the saltiness was lacking. Here, we got one of the few salt grinders available. It was also a bit dry—the so-called slight sloppiness was missing. Since not everyone liked shrimp, we ordered the chicken version. In our opinion, it was more like duck. We would rate the Pad Thai 7 out of 10 😄. Our group also had the Crispy Duck and Gaeng Phed (no pictures). It was deliciously prepared. The vegetables were crunchy and there were no added flavor enhancers (at least there were no after-effects). There was "nothing wrong" with the sushi. What we had there (veggie menu) was very tasty and nicely decorated. The ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce were plentiful. Paying by card was no problem. We would come back – just for the summer rolls and sushi.

Attentive servers who didn't stress us out about finishing (even though we arrived quite late). We enjoyed all the dishes and they arrived quickly. Super nice and helpful - they gave us a vase for a bouquet of flowers we brought with us.

Probably the best sushi I’ve had in Germany. I’ve been disappointed with the quality of sushi I had during my trip around Germany (especially in Düsseldorf even though it has a Little Tokyo), but this spot in Dresden was very memorable. My friend and I got Pad Thai, sushi, and drinks and they were all delicious! We enjoyed a nice evening stroll afterwards and walked around the romantic city of Dresden. It was a vibe!! I highly recommend going to the Theatreplatz after having a nice dinner here.

Food was great. Tried the chicken Pad Thai which was delicious and my wife had the crispy duck fried rice which was very tasty. We had a spicy tuna and mango roll for appetizer and that was good too. The staff was very helpful and made an extra effort to understand two non-German speakers. All in a very good experience.

The menu offers a wide selection of freshly prepared sushi - from classic maki to creative inside-out rolls - as well as Thai dishes such as pad thai, massaman curry and crispy bowls. The chicken tempura and the sake maki with salmon are particularly recommended. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, with great attention to detail. The staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the visit particularly pleasant. The central location in the Wilsdruffer Vorstadt/Seevorstadt-West makes it easy to reach the restaurant and take a walk through the old town after your meal. Price-performance ratio is absolutely right here – it’s worth a visit!

The food and cocktails tasted very good. The summer rolls were really generously filled. The sushi was tasty, although the mango roll, for example, didn't hold together very well. The staff was nice, although not particularly child-friendly.

My partner and I decided to have dinner here by chance. It turned out that in Dresden it is very difficult to eat in a restaurant without a reservation, but in this establishment we were received very warmly! And we were pleasantly surprised, a nice waitress recommended me a couple of rolls according to my tastes and my boyfriend ordered duck! It was delicious! The price corresponds to the quality and size of these dishes! These are traditional Asian dishes that are adapted to European tastes

Neither taste nor joy. There are boxes at the entrance that you have to climb over. The service was intrusive and unpleasant. The waiter mixed up our orders twice and took the plate right in front of me. I ordered a bowl: the fish was tasteless, the cucumbers were too watery, and the rice had to be looked for under a microscope. I visited this restaurant for the first time based on Google reviews - and will not be returning.

For me the best sushi restaurant in Dresden! The food is always freshly prepared, the boss and the entire team are very friendly and attentive - and of course it tastes heavenly. A smooth 10/10! The only thing that stood out negatively was that when we made our reservations by phone, it happened twice that we weren't in the book and were then simply seated where there was still room. That's a bit of a shame, especially if you reserve well in advance. We would still be happy to come to you and hope that the table reservation will work out next time!

The restaurant has a super modern and inviting atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. The staff was friendly and the food was served quickly. Dessert included mochi, the varieties of which were a surprise - a nice idea. However, there were only three pieces for €10, which I find too expensive.

The three of us spontaneously came here in the evening, luckily we got a table, if there are several people it's better to make a reservation. Service was top, atmosphere is nice. The orders were processed quickly and correctly. The waiter/boss was very friendly. Reasonably priced, nicely prepared and presented. Special requests were taken into account and implemented to our complete satisfaction. Clear recommendation from us.

Small but very comfortably furnished sushi restaurant. Very friendly owner and super nice employees! Large selection of classic sushi variants, but also unusual creations! But everything was really delicious! In this case I can really say "everything" because yesterday a colleague ordered the entire sushi menu from start to finish - so you won't necessarily find the plates in the photos on the menu - haha. The dessert was also great! The lava cake with liquid chocolate inside is probably 5000 kcal - but definitely worth it!

We go there regularly to eat our fill of sushi. The quality absolutely justifies the price. The service is always very friendly.

Sushi is very good. The starters (spring rolls, edamame, wakame, mango salad) were also very good. The ambience is also appealing. Only the service took a long time until the drinks were there, until something could be reordered or until you wanted to pay. You always had to look several times and wave to make sure someone came to the table.

After the performance in the comedy, I spontaneously went to the Lila Shushi Kitchen.....Sushi and sashimi were super fresh, the tuna was great and the duck in red curry was delicious...the curry has a European-style spiciness. ..too lax for me personally. Service was friendly...Beer costs €5.90

Very tasty food across all courses. Highly recommended for both summer rolls, sushi and fried rice. Ambience also very relaxed and nice. One star deduction for the service because we were served very late at the beginning. But afterwards very nice service.

If you like sushi or Thai you have to stop by here. The food is super tasty and fresh. The service was very polite and accommodating. The atmosphere is cozy and invites you to linger. All in all, happy again. Thanks to the whole team.

We spontaneously went to Lila on Saturday and were thrilled! We really liked the atmosphere, the service was extremely friendly and we felt comfortable and welcome. There is a selection of vegetarian dishes, we chose curry/tofu and wok vegetables/tofu. The portions were really huge and the taste was very authentic! You can tell that the food is freshly cooked here, and we really enjoyed it. The tempura sushi roll was also amazing! And the price-performance ratio is really great! I would come back immediately if I was in Dresden again. I had one of the best and most authentic Thai curries. Thanks! 🥰

I had dinner there with my wife this week. It tasted great. Although the restaurant was well “filled”, the drinks and then the food came to our table quite quickly. The staff was very friendly and quick. Yes, in conclusion, if you want to eat good Asian food you are well advised there.

Our older son picked this place as it offers sushi and in walking distance from our place. Great sushi, selection of non-alcohol cocktails. Nice place, better to reserve a table as it can get busy in the evening hours, also during weekdays. Waiting time for us was 30min. Staff is friendly, could be nimbler though, especially with the drinks. Overall nice experience, definitely come back

This Lokas is very well attended. We had reserved seats. We had to wait 30 minutes for drinks and 90 minutes for food. My food wasn't very tasty either. But my guests were satisfied.

Very nice shop and very attentive and nice person. As the name suggests, it is a sushi shop (3 sides of it) that also has 6 Thai dishes (see picture). Would have liked to see more authentic Thai selection. But, we can say that what we ordered, Gaeng Phed & Yakitori I&O & Chicken Fried Rice are super delicious. Also try the soy sauce, tastes homemade. My favorite was the wasabi for my role, fresh and homemade. Recommended.

The cuisine was relatively good, but nothing particularly sushi. The ambience makes a different impression. The service was okay, but we had to wait first. The waiter apologized for that at the end. The menu was well filled and it's worth going there again

A must for all lovers of Thai cuisine

The service was good, the atmosphere was fine. The menu is quite limited, at least apart from the extensive sushi offering: no sate, only five or six main courses, Pad Thai only in the shrimp version. So maybe not the best restaurant for a Thai gourmet evening. In terms of taste, we definitely found it solid.

The reservation via email worked without any problems. The welcome on site was very warm and although it was a Tuesday evening, many tables were occupied. The service was very courteous and not intrusive. Unfortunately, the sushi didn't convince me. The Spicy Tuna Mango we ordered were rather bland and boring. The processed chives masked everything in terms of taste and the mango was not yet ripe and therefore tasteless. The prices are a little more expensive, but reasonable for the city center location.
