Despite the full house, the service worked smoothly and was very friendly. The food tasted good, but was very carelessly prepared. I don't think we'll eat there on holidays anymore. It appeared that tables had been added additionally. Chairs bumped into each other.

Went to the Lika Grill for a long time and were very disappointed. Ordered a non-alcoholic shandy, got a bottle of beer and a carafe of lemonade, without a glass, after asking several times we got the glass. Price for this drink over 7€. I didn't get the dish I ordered either, but a different one. I complained about this and was told that I had ordered this and that it was correct. After asking for the card and reading it again, it turned out I was right. When my husband was finished eating I got mine. My husband ordered something with fries but didn't get any fries. We thought they would definitely come in a bowl...so started eating. When the waiter comes with a new plate, he takes away my husband's because it's wrong. On the whole, the staff wasn't on point, and the price wasn't good either. Probably won't go there again Too bad

We ate here with our grandma. Very tasty, cozy atmosphere.

Food was very tasty. Staff super friendly. I would really like to recommend it to others. Again and again.

Just ordered by phone... Schnitzel with campion cream sauce, Duveci rice, bread and goulash soup.. we got Viennese schnitzel, goulash soup, sauce with mushrooms.. no Duveci, no Champions just light sauce, no bread.. No one tried to clarify even though the shop was empty. Rip off! Never again!

We had plastic in our food and moldy cheese was brought to us. There was no apology for it either. Portions are good for the price.

The food is super tasty, the portions are definitely enough to fill you up and the prices are moderate. The ambience is a bit stuck in time, but nevertheless I felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Been here again for ages. The food is really of almost no quality (here it's almost all about quantity not quality), the prices have really risen and the service is, with one exception, really bad. Won't be coming back again

Full marks, super friendly service, really nice, lovingly furnished atmosphere. And amazingly fast cuisine. The medallions were really big and delicate. I rarely got such a large cordon bleu, it was definitely homemade and had a lot of cheese inside. The only small drawback were the side dishes. Vegetables, salad, fries and croquettes. All tasty but maybe a little little. The price was relatively cheap so you can't complain.

I always enjoy going here to eat and have been doing so for many years. Recently arrived here from Pulheim for dinner.

Nicely designed space for family celebrations. Unfortunately only a limited selection of drinks. Food was average and not exceptional

Centrally located in the city center area not far from the so-called main train station with its own large customer parking lot, the restaurant is easily accessible. Since it is quite large and has many tables, reservations are not mandatory, but are recommended during peak times. We went there again for lunch after a few years. The ambience is rustic, but cozy and not so uncomfortable with lots of niches and corners. This means that people next to you don't become as unpleasant as they do in large restaurant halls. The sanitary facilities are older, but perfectly clean. Every member of the staff is very friendly and accommodating, yet appropriately reserved and never intrusive. The menu is very extensive and of course typically meat-heavy. Ultimately, there should be something suitable for everyone, perhaps apart from vegans. Since, like the Greeks, the meat from the contact grill is usually too dry for me, I prefer to stick to steaks or pan-fried dishes with appropriate sauce. This time it was a beef stroganoff, a very well prepared stir-fry dish. Our 12 year old had a grill plate. Thanks to lots of Djuvec rice and Ayvar, there are plenty of moist side dishes. The wife had a pan of schnitzel with rösti, also perfect. In advance there was an onion soup for 7 euros and a small cheese platter for 10 euros. With 2 bottles of water, a wine and a still water we came out at 108 euros. And at this point you have to say that the drinks are a bit expensive. The main courses averaged 24 euros. Considering the quality, that's completely fine, but you can't get any bargains at Lika Grill. The food we ordered came quickly, starters and main courses at the same time and everything was as ordered without any errors. The portions were large enough and there was usually something left over. As seen at neighboring tables, leftover food is well packaged to take away. Payment is made in cash or by EC, tips are cash as is appropriate. Conclusion: A long-established gastronomy, honest, tasty prepared dishes with, as far as can be determined, decent basic ingredients. Not exactly cheap, but still reasonably priced.

Der Service ließ zu wünschen übrig! Auf einem Teller versteckte sich unter der Orangenscheibe ein Haar. Beim abräumen der Teller teilten wir dem Kellner dieses mit doch leider keine Reaktion! Auf die Cappuccinos nach dem Essen haben wie ewig gewartet, trotzdem das es echt leer war für einen Samstagabend. Alles in Allem ist es nicht mehr das Restaurant was es mal war!

The waiter seemed very uninterested. When the food was brought to the table, it looked very carelessly prepared and also not appetizing. As we ate the food, we quickly noticed that the food was heavily seasoned, which isn't even an understatement. The fries were very salty and the meat was inedible, so we left more than half of the food behind. The only good thing was the alcohol, which lightened the mood a bit. It was our first and last time in this restaurant. If you still want to go there, the alcohol is worth it, just not the price.

Update 2024: Staff has decreased, value for money is no longer there for us, we don't go there anymore. Old: Not exactly cheap lately, but otherwise good. Very old Balkan restaurant in Remscheid. Waiting time relatively short, comfortable, toilets clean, food good, portion size sufficient, staff friendly, clean, free schnapps afterwards, free parking nearby, we'll be back.

The times with courteous staff, full, delicious plates and plenty of juicy, well-seasoned meat, like in the 80s to the early 2000s with a good price/performance ratio, are completely over here! Tablecloth with stains and cutlery dirty and partly with sticky hairs. There's a musty smell to go with it, and it opens at 5:30 p.m. Cola Zero was served without carbonation, but was replaced immediately after a complaint. The meat was knocked down from EUR 3 to EUR 14 and the inedible breading is significantly thicker in addition to the dry meat. The small portions are served on huge plates and the whole 4 frozen croquettes catch the eye. To get more drinks you have to ask the staff because you prefer to spend the time outside the door. The staff appear like they're in a snack bar, some with baggy yellow T-shirts loosely over their jeans and long unkempt hair. And so the price/performance ratio is not only underground, but really outrageous. This store won't see us again! It's a shame about the old Lika as we once knew it.

We were at Lika Grill with 9 people and we were disappointed. In the salad plate with strips of turkey breast, the meat was not cooked through. The apple spritzer with lots of ice cubes and almost no carbonation, the desired side salad with balsamic dressing was just vinegar and oil. Some dishes are carelessly prepared. But the most unpleasant thing was when the service staff reached into the empty glasses with their fingers to clear them away, very unhygienic. It would be nice to clear the plates professionally instead of building towers. I would like the owners to read this and revise their concept, then we would like to give the Lika Grill another chance. Otherwise the prices are not justified for the quality and service.

Unfortunately, you have to say that 1. it has become very expensive and 2. the quality has unfortunately dropped. There are definitely restaurants in the area that are priced significantly lower and are also better quality. Unfortunately the meat was way too well done... Unfortunately we weren't given a friendly welcome. After we got our drinks (in our opinion the cola was very lightly carbonated), we had to wait an hour for our food, even though it was very empty. The food was only served lukewarm or sometimes even cold. The sauces tasted bland, not like what we were used to in the restaurant; we have actually enjoyed going there for many years. After we expressed criticism, we only apologized once. But nothing was deducted from the price or we were accommodated in any way. At the end we were not told a nice evening, a thank you or even a goodbye. Unfortunately we won't be going here anymore.

Overall, my conclusion is positive. The food was good, the prices were OK, friendly and a nice atmosphere. Parking spaces nearby. The only small drawback was that my soft drink had ice in it without asking and it was a bit stale. But man I can tell the waiter to leave out the ice cream next time. Although the quality of the food is still at a good level, the price-performance ratio is unfortunately no longer the same after the change of ownership! Although the service is still very good, the portions are both smaller and more expensive. Maybe that explains the unusual emptiness on a Sunday evening. .? There are no side salads anymore and in the end there are three of us Paid 120 euros, which actually seemed extremely unreasonable to us. A mousse au chocolat for 11 euros and an almost empty plate for 31 euros unfortunately reflect a different, unusual level. Unfortunately, this will be our last visit for the time being, even though we have eaten there regularly for 40 years. All the best to the new owners!

It's true that at times the steaks were no longer very good, but only quite good. But today I ate better here than ever. REALLY. Don't always create an apocalyptic mood. A - perhaps the only restaurant - that has existed in Remscheid for so long can sometimes falter. There are people at work! Clearly...no one wants bad food for a lot of money. First of all, I have appreciated and loved the Likagrill for decades, but yesterday we were there again for a long time. A table was ordered for 7 p.m. Although the reservation was noted, there was no table available for 6 people, so 2 tables were pushed together. It was more of a bad idea than it was right. It was very tight .After about 45! Minutes later, after repeated requests on our part, the drinks were taken. We were told several times that we would take food straight away. Here too, we had to remind us three times. Food came after another 30 minutes. Unfortunately, it also decreased significantly. Then we wanted to pay and no one here either We came to the counter after 20 minutes. What a shame what happened to the Likagrill...unfortunately our last visit after over 30 years of loyalty...PS Jägermeister for 4 euros? Incomprehensible

The food was good, not very good but good. But service and friendliness left a pretty unprofessional impression. In order to clear the plates and get the next drink, you have to go to the kitchen and then ask for someone to come to the table. When an employee left a laptop playing music at the next table and then walked away, we had the feeling that we were asked to leave, because the mix of piped music and laptop music was really unpleasant. We didn't feel comfortable in the Lika Grill and will avoid the restaurant in the future.

The food was partly only lukewarm and the meat was grilled to death. The waitress preferred to sit in the kitchen rather than do her job. Unfortunately it's no longer worth the money.

Today on Valentine's Day I want to go out and eat something delicious with my girlfriend again. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Meat very dry. When asked if they had a new chef, the waitress said yes, he's an idiot. Instead of coming to meet us, we had to pay the full price of €23 and €24. As compensation they wanted to sell us a coffee. The waitress was overwhelmed by the whole thing. The table next to us also complained. It's a shame we always liked going there but after this statement we definitely won't anymore. Wir waren 1. Weihnachten dort essen und haben 1,5 Stunden auf unser Essen gewartet. Der Grillteller, der Fisch die waren leider zweimal gestorben die armen Tiere. Alles kaputt gebraten. Die Leber war zu weit gebraten und somit sau trocken. Der Fisch war so weit gebraten das er trocken und ungeniessbar wurde. Ich hatte ein Steak rare bestellt und habe es medium bekommen. Meine Schwiegertochter hatte medium bestellt und bekam es durch gebraten. Ich würde behaupten der Koch war überfordert. Für den Preis der da verlangt wird ist das Essen schlecht. Nicht zu empfehlen. Und das Personal ist auch nicht besonders freundlich. Auf die Frage ob das Essen in Ordnung war und wir das nur verneinen konnten wurde überhaupt nicht reagiert. Eher bewußt weggehört. Preis-/ Leistung stimmen nicht.

Ich gehe schon seit Jahren dort Essen. Es gab nie etwas auszusetzen. Für mich perfekt.

Einen sehr schönen Abend mit tollen Essen dort verbracht

Hat sehr nachgelassen. Früher sind wir sehr gerne dorthin gegangen, war auch immer recht feucht und fröhlich. Nun waren mit acht Personen (davon zwei Rentner und ein Kind) zum Geburtstagsessen dort, und fühlten uns am Ende abgezockt. Hatten zweimal die Lika-Platte für je drei Personen, wobei jeweils das Schweinefleisch kalt war. Vorab servierte man uns Krautsalat, wir bestellten zusätzlich Mayo und Ketchup und tranken dabei auch nicht wenig. Da wir sonst immer zufrieden mit dem Service und Essen waren, haben wir uns erspart, uns bezüglich des kalten Essen zu beschweren, zudem war der Laden auch voll. Bei der Rechnung haben wir dann jedoch gestaunt. Für Mayo und Ketchup hat man uns für jedes Metro-Tütchen 80 Cent berechnet, davon haben wir von den zehn servierten Tütchen nur vier verbraucht, die anderen wurden trotzdem berechnet. Auch die zwei zusätzlichen Schälchen wurden, wie leider erst zu Hause festgestellt, mit je 5 EUR berechnet. Also, da fehlt schon das Fingerspitzengefühl, einfach Wucher. Sorry, hier waren wir zum letzten Mal.

Wir haben schon besser gegessen.Ich würde nicht noch mal hin gehen.

Sehr nettes und gepflegtes Personal. Fleisch, sehr gute Qualität, schmeckt sehr gut. Toilette sehr sauber.

Dem Restaurant muss man zu Gute halten, dass die Tische alle gut mit Gästen gefüllt waren. Das Personal hatte sichtlich eine Herausforderung damit, alle Tische zeitnah zu bedienen, war aber jederzeit freundlich. Die Küche hat es leider nicht geschafft, unsere 5 Mahlzeiten gleichzeitig heiß zu bekommen. Der Grillteller für 2 Personen war spürbar früher fertig als die restlichen drei Einzelmahlzeiten. War vielleicht kein guter Abend und die heutige Wahrnehmung muss kein generelles Urteil sein.

Ein altbewährtes Remscheider Restaurant, indem man Leute trifft, von früher, die man lange nicht gesehen hat, dadurch fühlt man sich dort heimisch. Es ist dort sehr gemütlich. Immer wieder gerne.

Es war sehr bequem und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt sehr zu empfehlen

Lika grill jedes Mal ein Besuch wert, wen man seine alte Heimat besucht.. einziges Manko es gibt keine scharfen sossen..

Schlechter Service schlechtes Essen anders kann man es nicht sagen..die haben echt nachgelassen.. werden beim nächsten Mal woanders essen gehen.

Große Portionen aber nicht so lecker wie früher

Gestern Abend waren wir mit 4 Personen im Restaurant. Früher immer top, gestern absoluter Flop! Ein Grillteller wurde ohne Pommes sowie ohne Ayvar und Zwiebeln serviert, beim anderen Grillteller ist ein angeschnittenes Cevapcici serviert worden. Das Wiener Schnitzel war kaum zu schneiden. Auf unsere Reklamation ist der Kellner einfach weggegangen, die junge freundliche Kellnerin hat versucht, unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Sie tat mir leid. Aber der Koch sollte beruflich etwas anderes machen! Der Abend war nicht schön!! Die zwei Sterne für den Service gehen an die freundliche Kellnerin!

Man findet dort ein gemütliches Ambiente vor. Die Servicekräfte sind freundlich und das Essen ist lecker.

Waren nach Jahren mal wieder dort und ich muss sagen: dort ist die Zeit stehen geblieben. In die Jahre gekommene Ausstattung und leider auch nicht sauber. Sehr verstaubt. Auch das Essen war jetzt nicht so dolle. Versalzene Pommes, auf meinem Spargelschnitzel fand ich unter einem Holondaise versenkten Schnitzel ganze 2 Stangen. Einzig das Personal ist wie früher. Sehr freundlich und bemüht.

Waren gestern in ihrem Lokal und nicht zufrieden, Preis Leistung stimmt nicht und das Eis war nur eine Pampe. Kann man nicht weiter empfehlen.

Ein paar mal im Jahr,muß ich hin und eine Platte für 2 mit jemandem vertilgen. Hmmm lecker.....

Ich hab mich super wohl gefühlt. Essen klasse, Bedienung einmahlig klasse, Ambiente spitzen mäßig. Kann ich jedem empfehlen. Freu mich schon aufs nächste mal. Waren gestern dort essen, es war wieder super klasse.

Ich war an einem Donnerstag Abend hier und wollte nur noch eine Kleinigkeit essen. Da ich keine Lust auf Suppe hatte habe ich mich für ein sehr leckeres Carpaccio entschieden. Als die Küche schloß aß die ganze Belegschaft am Nachbartisch. Sehr familiär, freundlich! Sehr zu empfehlen! Auch bereits bei früheren Besuchen mit Kollegen wurden wir immer sehr zuvorkommend und bestens bedient.

Essen war verbrannt, Jägerschnitzel wie in der Pommesbude, aber die Preise anheben... Waren öfters da , jetzt ist Schluß.

Insgesamt mehr Quantität als Qualität, große Portionen, aber Fleisch ist hart und zäh, Djuwecreis ohne nennenswerten Geschmack, Pommes überhaupt nicht knusprig. Das kann jede Pommesbude mindestens genauso gut oder schlecht, nur günstiger. Der einzige Unterschied dazu ist, dass man hier ganz nett sitzen kann. Das ist aber auch schon alles.
