Eating Baba for the first time was definitely positive. It's a good way to warm up and protect yourself from a possible cold. The food here is also very tasty. For a first date, this is a good option. My brother, trust me.

All the noodles and momo are homemade and delicious! The flavors were well-balanced. The portions were large. The service was quick and polite. There is a nice outdoor dining area, as well as a large indoor dining area.

We chose this Tibetan restaurant because of the reviews so it just goes to show that’s not always the best strategy. We were probably asking too much for a pepper-free noodle bowl but the owner assured me as such. The sauce was full of pepper and aside from tiny titbits of mushroom and capsicum the majority of the meal - more than 95% - remained uneaten. Also, you Need to allow 15 minutes if you ask for a glass of tap water - required to hose down the fire in my throat, as no one on staff knew how to provide a glass of water or just wanted us to buy a bottle ? My partner also complained about the small volume of food for the price Overall a really disappointing experience Hope this feedback helps the owner and the business improve deal with foreigner customer requests as language is often an Issue

We had reserved a table, when we arrived we reported and wanted a quiet table further away, which was refused to us, it was probably too far away from the chair where the waitress spent most of her time and was busy with her cell phone. The food we ordered was very tasty and, apart from the cucumber salad, looked very good and appealing. The taste of the cucumber salad was excellent, but it wasn't any fun to eat at all, the chunks of cucumber looked like someone had thrown 10 cucumbers on the table and then chopped them with a hatchet, there were pieces that barely fit in the mouth and then so small that there wasn't room for three forks, so you should think about getting a slicer or spiral cutter so that the salad looks as good as it tastes.

The prices are okay and the location is quiet. Pleasant to sit outside

Good food in the center of Bockenheim right on the Leipziger. The dumplings are delicious and are freshly prepared. The service is a bit inattentive given the price range. Card payment is not offered.

Until now, I was completely unfamiliar with Tibetan cuisine. There was nothing really new, but the momos (dumplings) are really delicious. They are available with different fillings such as beef, pork or vegetarian. Highly Recommended!

This Tibetan restaurant is an absolute gem in Frankfurt! My husband and I recently dined here and were thoroughly impressed. The dumplings are out of this world—I had the vegetarian ones, which were delicious, and my husband tried the pork ones and loved them just as much. Authentic and simple Tibetan food, dumplings and noodles are okay. They are delicious without relying on oil or spicy food. The butter tea is delicious and strong, but the restaurant is not small for such a simple food. It is okay to sit at the door in summer.

We were there for dinner. We ordered a dish and a bottle of water. They didn't bring the cutlery just brought the bottle and left it there, the glasses were late. But the order was also wrong. The carrots they put in our food tasted like soap. When we tried to describe the problem, they scolded us. They said don't pay and leave. However, we were just trying to figure out why. They said they marinated the carrots with vinegar, but the taste was definitely not the sour-sweet flavor that vinegar imparts. I wouldn't recommend going there unless you want to be insulted by the service team

One of the worst restaurants with bad behavior towards guests. We had to stand and they walked past us and took each other's orders. We waited patiently and asked several times if there was room, but they didn't answer and left us standing at the door. We wouldn't recommend such a place to anyone.

Delicious dumplings! I had Momo with pork filling and special ice tea. It was pretty good with relaxing atmosphere and a friendly service.

The restaurant welcomes you outside with a beautiful outdoor area. But there is also enough space inside for larger groups. The order took a little longer due to the large group, but there was not one mistake. The food itself is excellent and very tasty. Gladly again.

One of my favorite restaurants in Frankfurt! Always friendly service and great food. In summer you can sit outside beautifully. The fried momos with vegetables and the dish Lumen are particularly recommended.

Food is nice but one can only pay w GiroCard or in cash. So as a tourist one does have neither of both! That’s a shame. Also the prices went up almost 50%.

I've never been to Tibet, so I can't say how authentic the food is, but what's on offer here is delicious. Because the dumplings are always freshly prepared, it takes a while after ordering. But that's what you're told too.

Food was good (7/10) and reasonably priced too. Staff was a bit disorganized but otherwise quite polite. Atmosphere was authentic and cozy. Definitely worth a visit :)

Super nice service, quick and very patient. We were there in a large group and all the dishes came together. A large selection that makes it difficult to decide on your first visit. Mo Thuk , was my choice. Very fresh and the dumplings were delicious. The seasoning was unusual. Overall we had a lovely evening in a lovely atmosphere, recommended as it was very good and also something completely different.

A great restaurant. Various traditional Tibetan specialties and some other dishes. The selection of dishes is good. The quality, taste and quantity of the food are very good. The prices are a bit high, but probably still in the middle range for Frankfurt standards. Starters can be shared with several people. The butter tea is delicious - please offer it in larger portions :) A selection of optional side dishes such as rice or bread would be great. 4.8 stars

I was recently in the lhamo bistro restaurant and was absolutely organic make you feel better specially in winter. Go there and you will get something which you need in winter season. After all health is most precious at the moment. So your secret of winter health is there in lhamo bistro. Just go for your health rest come automatically... health is first so hot organic soup and so many hot and delicious food ....most importantly organic and homemade at it best ...

The selection isn't that big, but at least everything is delicious (and inexpensive). Service was very friendly, competent and quick. Ambiance - well, everything correct but nothing special. Absolutely recommended.

What I liked: - handmade noodles - Big portions What I did not like: - it was a great place but it was not super comfy/ nice interior. If you improve that, this place would even be more great - Big glass of juice 4.50, half of the size 3.50

Must visit place for their momos. We tried the vegetarian momos. Their chilli sauce is simply out of the world we added a dash of soy sauce and it was yummy. We also tried the rice cake with red bean paste dessert and it was so yummy.

Authentic tasty Tibet food, their homemade noodle is highly recommended (zha-Jiang mian), decent portion. Although they don’t have lunch menu, price is ok in general. We ordered cucumber salad as Starter, a bit too light for me; steamed MoMo (dumpling) is good but I prefer Chinese or Japanese dumpling more. Overall good experience and will go again!

Super authentischer Laden. Die Auswahl an essen ist nicht groß, aber ich bin sicher dass dafür alle Gerichte super sind. Das was ich gegessen und probiert habe, war jedenfalls sehr lecker. Sitzen kann man draußen und drinnen. Alle Leute sind super nett.

Das Lhamo Bistro bietet köstliches Essen mit freundlichem Service. Ich esse besonders gerne die Suppen, in unterschiedlichen Variationen. Die Portionen sind groß, die Zutaten frisch - großartiges Comfort-food, sehr tröstend, schmackhaft und wohltuend.

Eine klare Empfehlung für die Küche, den Service und das Ambiente! An einer Ecke der Leipziger gelegen, mit Sitzbänken draußen und schön bepflanzt kann man es hier sehr gut einen ganzen Abend lang aushalten! Der Service ist sehr freundlich und schnell und das Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Vor allem die Momos und handgezogenen Nudeln sind sehr zu empfehlen! Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort hingehen!

Sehr authentisches tibetisches Restaurant in Bockenheim. Alles schmeckt super lecker. Ich empfehle von allem etwas zu bestellen und mit Freunden zu teilen :) Service könnte manchmal etwas aufmerksamer sein aber kommt glaube auch auf die Uhrzeit an. Ich werde auf jeden Fall noch oft wiederkommen!

Wir haben noch nie tibetisch gegessen. Und es war eine angenehme Überraschung. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, fein abgeschmeckte Gerichte (wir sind Vegetarier), sättigende Portionen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The place is generally nice and the food is tasty. However, staff can be quite uncooperative and unprofessional. They left my beer sit on the counter for 10 min and then before serving it to me they gave it a good stir so as to give me the impression they had just pulled it. They served a family of friends before us, despite us having sat down well before them. And when I asked whether I could have a portion of 5 dumplings instead of 10 they said they could not do it. The food is good but the service is poor.

Es gibt vor allem Teigtaschen (wie man sie auch aus China kennt) und recht dicke Nudeln. Viele (gefühlt alle) Menüs kann man vegetarisch oder mit verschiedenem Fleisch bestellen. Die von uns gewählten vegetarischen Menüs haben leider sehr fad geschmeckt. Die Portionen sind sehr reichlich. Personal ist sehr freundlich. Eine Hauptspeise kostet ca. 10 €. Ein Getränk unter 5 €.
