Wir waren heute hier frühstücken und haben ein Frühstück für Zwei bestellt. Perfekter Service, super nettes und sehr freundliches Personal. Jetzt komme ich zum aber 😄 Das Frühstück war selbst für zwei Leute viel zu viel. Mit so viel Auswahl an Wurst, Käse, Aufstrich usw haben wir null gerechnet. Schade drum das wir nicht alles aufgegessen haben 🫣. Beim nächsten Mal kommen wir zum Gambas essen ✌🏻 (all you can eat)

Es war an sich nicht laut, aber die Tische standen nah beieinander und wir waren nachher bestens informiert über die medizinische Versorgung der allesamt deutlich älteren Tischnachbarn (soll abends aber anders sein). An der Wand waren Suppespritzer o.ä.. Auswahl an Frühstücken war schon da, auch Stullen, eine Bowl, viele Eierspeisen. Das herzhafte Frühstück konnte vegetarisch bestellt werden, aber der Belag (Käse, eine Ecke suspekt) reichte dann erstmal nicht (wir bekamen aber noch nach). 3 Teelöffel Joghurt im Gläschen dazu, nicht mehr ganz frische Trauben. Bunt gefüllte Etageren auf den Fotos zeigen das Frühstück für 2 für 28,- ohne Getränke außer einem Sekt. Kaffee war ok. Insgesamt kein gutes P-L-V bei unserer Wahl und zumindest zum Frühstück würde ich nicht mehr hingehen. Die Servicekraft war sehr nett.

Waren dort zu zweit Frühstücken. Waren sehr früh da, daher war noch alles leer, aber es füllt sich sehr schnell da es sehr beliebt ist. Preislich ist es auch der Qualität entsprechend.

Wir hatten am Donnerstag " Gambas all you can eat" Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal hier. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wunderschön eingerichtet, mit 2 Servicekräften den vollen Laden am Laufen gehalten. Leckere Weine und kühles Bier. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Warum ein Stern weniger? Der Aufschlag für das Wienerschnitzel zum Spargel mit Kartoffeln ist nicht gerechtfertigt. Viel zu klein für den Preis.

Die Küche ist tadellos, kreativ, en Point, nur der Service wirkt- auf symphatische Weise - schnell überfordert.

Wir waren schon lange nicht mehr da aber es ist immer noch super. Das Frühstück für zwei ist echt zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es reagiert sofort wenn etwas fehlt oder man noch was möchte. Absolut zu empfehlen

Wir waren heute zum Frühstücken dort. Die Bedienung war freundlich und das bestellte Frühstück sehr schnell am Tisch. Das Ambiente war sehr angenehm. Leider hat uns weder die Qualität des Käse-/Wurstaufschnitts entsprochen, noch waren die süßen Optionen (zwei Sorten Marmelade) geschmacklich fruchtig sondern eher einfach nur süß. Der Milchcafe war nicht sehr gut und wurde „nur“ über einen Vollautomaten serviert, das hätte ich bei der Preisstruktur anders erwartet. Wir hatten einen Orangensaft dabei, auch hier war qualitativ noch Luft nach oben.

Schöne Brasserie mit gutem Essen.

Leider hat sich die Preispolitik in die falsche Richtung entwickelt, haben für Spargel, Kartoffeln und ein sehr kleines Schnitzel 43,90 bezahlt, da haben wir mehr erwartet !

Exzellenter Service und ein warmes, elegantes Ambiente. Wir hatten die Bratwurst 1910 mit Pommes frites – eine großzügige Portion, die köstlich war 😋

Vorsicht! Die All You Can Eat Angebote sind lediglich Lockangebote. Kommt man spontan vorbei, wie auf der Webseite empfohlen, bekommt man sie einfach nicht, sondern wird abgewimmelt, dass man sie hätte vorbestellen müssen. Sehr ärgerlich, den Weg umsonst gemacht zu haben.

Ich bin seit der Eröffnung Kundin und habe mich anfangs sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist perfekt und die Einrichtung im französischen Stil wirklich schön. In der Vergangenheit gab es einige Punkte, die verbesserungswürdig waren – insbesondere beim Service und bei den Wartezeiten. Allerdings möchte ich ausdrücklich erwähnen, dass sich dies im letzten Jahr deutlich positiv entwickelt hat. Das Personal ist inzwischen freundlicher, aufmerksamer und auch deutlich schneller geworden. Ich komme mittlerweile wieder sehr gerne hierher und fühle mich insgesamt gut aufgehoben. Eine schöne Entwicklung, die ich sehr schätze. 👍🏻

Ein Beispiel, Argentinisches Stack, Preis 35€ Geht's gar nicht für(Stack fast kalt serviert, wie Gummi, zwei Blätter Salat)pommes o.k. Das geht nicht Nie wieder

Wir waren gegen 19.00 Uhr da, haben gut gegessen und uns in Ruhe unterhalten. Die Geräuschkulisse ist leise, auch wenn die Tische belegt sind noch angenehm. Ein angenehmes Ambiente!

ZumFrühstücken sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Geschirr und Besteck war teilweise dreckig und die Freundlichkeit der Bedienung war auch ausbaufähig. Das Ambiente ist ganz nett.

Ein sehr liebevolles Café wo man sehr gut Frühstücken ,Kaffee und Kuchen sehr lecker👍👍 schön zu empfehlen ,,Kaiserschmarrn" mit dem Liebsten teilen🥰♥️😘,sowie auch die warmen Speisen sehr lecker.🫠 Wir finden Sabine macht jeden glücklich mit ihrem freundlichen Charme. Kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Breakfast wasn't worth the price. The avocado toast had only a few drops of avocado sauce, no fresh avocado, and three-quarters of the plate was salad. It wasn't a culinary highlight either. The server rolled her eyes when she brought us the wrong order.

The food was fantastic. We were there today, Boxing Day, with 14 people plus two small children. It was wonderful. Everyone was happy with everything. Friendly service, excellent food. We've already booked for next year.

Bad day or bad restaurant? The restaurant was pretty empty when we were there for lunch. After waiting at least 15 minutes for a waitress just to get the menu, we were told the asparagus dishes were out, okay. We then chose something else, and the second waitress told us, "Excuse me, we don't have four more dishes available." It would be nice if A knew what B was doing! We had to wait another 30 minutes for our food, despite the restaurant being empty. The burger was mediocre at best. Ready-made ingredients, very little sauce, a dry bun, and the fries weren't cooked properly. To pay, we had to go outside the restaurant and ask the waitresses to interrupt their smoking break.

nice ambience and very attentive service

A very good shop, centrally located in Castrop. The counter and restrooms are clean, and the servers are super friendly and chatty. The service is fast and impeccable; a nice bonus for us was that we received a small cake with our coffee. Take your time here to relax and chat, and enjoy the nice weather. The shop is spread over two floors and has modern furnishings.

As always, top-notch service and quality. We'll be back.

Hospitable, great team, great food, nice ambience, great all around

An evening with friends. We had free choice of table. After a short time, the very friendly waitress came and took our drink order and asked us if we would like to eat something, and we were then given the menus straight away. The choice of food is unusual and stands out completely from other restaurants, but every palate will still find what it is looking for. One of us asked whether the dish contains lactose or is lactose-free because of an intolerance. The waitress shouted throughout the restaurant whether the dish was lactose-free. Very unpleasant - topics like this should be dealt with more discreetly in the restaurant. The dishes came quite quickly / the quality was normal. We ordered mayo with the fries, which was only added later - so we had to cope without mayo at first - it would be better to organize that, since we had already eaten 45% of our dish and only then did the mayo come. We wanted to order drinks from another waitress, who said very inappropriately, "I'll tell my colleague" - you can also say that in a friendly way / if you don't like working there, you should perhaps think about changing jobs. Her colleague “the friendly waitress” then took the drink order and brought it very quickly. When paying, the next point that simply needs to be made better today, for a restaurant like the one in 1910. Separate numbers - please come to the checkout - So please, we work like customer-oriented again - have you ever heard of mental arithmetic? Or from paper and pen? Ask the customer to pay because the system can't do that. Sorry, then either a different cash register system or a customer-oriented solution please. The conclusion - you can go there - but you don't have to - it's not an experience. Probably a service desert and the question of customer orientation arises. We were disappointed and won't be coming back for the time being.

Eigentlich sehr schön, die MitarbeiterINNEN sind sehr nett, aber der ältere Herr, der dort arbeitet, war total unfreundlich – direkt als wir reinkamen. Und das schon zum zweiten Mal?! Ich habe das Gefühl, dass jüngere Menschen dort nicht so gern gesehen sind. Schade…

Unfortunately a disappointment. The waiter was unfriendly and arrogant - no greeting, slammed the menu on the table in annoyance. My chosen dish “supposedly” didn’t exist. That was enough, we moved to Café Extrablatt - the service there was much better. We won't come here again!

We spontaneously decided on this restaurant. The ambiance and the food were really great. The staff were also very friendly. My husband's mashed potatoes were served separately so we could offer some to our 11-month-old son. We thought that was really sweet, and the little one left almost nothing for his dad. The cake at the counter even smiled at us and was allowed to take it home. We'd love to come back! 😊☀️

Perfect breakfast great atmosphere very nice waiter. Everything was great all around, we would love to come back. We were there with grandma and a 3 year old and it is absolutely recommended, even though the shop was full and the waiter was all alone, it was perfect all around!!!

Wrong lemonade brought even though there were only two types! The food (tarte flambée) wasn't particularly tasty, sparingly topped and not enough to fill you up. The frozen tarte flambée from the supermarket tastes better. That's really sad. He was also burned underneath. The two waitresses were listless at work. She also took away the large bottle of water from us, even though there was still water in the bottle. The only positive thing was the waffle. It was extremely cold and drafty in the restaurant (November). All in all very disappointing. We won't be coming back.

Can't recommend. Place not clean. The service was pretty smug and the breakfast wasn't good either. Fruit wasn't fresh.

Good food / friendly service / cozy atmosphere

Was there recently for the first time, service was super nice! Drinks were quickly brought to the table. A really beautifully decorated shop that invites you to stay! Unfortunately I didn't try the food, but I'll do it later (it looked very tasty and the size of the food was also very good!). In the store you can easily forget everything around you (and time). Will definitely stop by more often!

Was there for the first time. Food very tasty. Ambience also quite nice. Service also very nice. I came in with a friend and an employee immediately asked what we would like to eat and freed up a seat for us.

Everything OK. There could be a larger selection at breakfast. You can go, but somehow it didn't quite suit our taste.

We were deeply disappointed with this Proscetta for €7.90. There were 3 mini, thin baguetta slices with diced tomatoes, Topped with onion and rocket, in a bowl about 15cm in diameter, which tasted bland. I'd rather go to the Italian Enzo, but at the same price it's a culinary delight.

Nice staff, good tasty breakfast. I would definitely prefer Leuthold's to Extrablatt.

Absolutely disgraceful. Open according to Google, but you're in front of a closed restaurant. And this has happened several times in the last 3 weeks. Well then you just go to the extra sheet. They at least manage to open on time. And we're not talking about '5 minutes later' but also at 8:50 a.m. Doesn't work at all

Looks disappointing. After the rain all the tables and chairs outside were wet. I'm standing at a table and the tall waiter ignores me. He looks in that direction every now and then and prefers to talk to other guests. Even after waiting for this conversation, he doesn't come to dry the chair and table and greet us, but goes back in after a quick look. I then left the café disappointed!

We had lovely evening. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. The problem was that we could not pay by debit card because we didn't have a GERMAN card! They do not accept foreign credit/debit cards. Is it possible in 2024? It was so unfair. They don't trust people from other countries, do they?!!

Food was very tasty. The service was very friendly. But please don't make the expensive veal schnitzel in the deep fryer, otherwise it would have been given 5 stars.

I like to eat the salad with tuna here, very tasty. I'll just leave out the sheep's cheese next time because it always tastes like it's a little over the top.

Were there for the all you can eat shrimp on Thursday. Unfortunately we didn't like the shrimp at all. For our personal taste they were rather flabby and totally overcooked. But that is our personal feeling. The lemon mayonnaise tasted like artificial lemon flavoring from the baking shelf. But what is an absolute no go is if you find two hairs in your food. We completely lost our appetite and canceled our meal. We were apologized but the evening was over for us. We paid for our drinks and left. The service person apologized to us. I would also like to mention that. Still an absolute no go

Went to 1910 again and wanted something to eat. We've always had to wait to be served, but yesterday we left after 20 minutes without being noticed. Then you don't have to be surprised if the guests stay away. Just FYI: it wasn't well attended, if anyone thinks so. Was there last time.

Very old-fashioned restaurant, which exactly corresponds to the name. The food and quality are particularly noteworthy and the location on the market square is also very suitable for the concept :)

Das Restaurant hat ein sehr nettes Ambiente. Die Speisen sind sehr lecker und vielfältig. Zudem ist das Restaurant teilweise Barrierefrei. Eingang keine Stufen. Großer Toilettenraum, aber ohne Haltegriffe.

Leckeres Essen, freundliche Bedienung. War an zwei Abenden dort.

Ambiente und Preise sind nicht so schlecht, der Rest aber schon.. Sauber war kein Stuhl, alle samt Kaffee oder Lebensmittel beschmiert. Der Service war auch nicht überragend. Kaffee, Waffel und Eiskaffee waren ganz OK.

Spontan eingekehrt, es gab guten Cappuccino und eine fabelhafte Creme Brulee dazu. Danach dann noch was herzhaftes genascht und gut satt geworden, für einen kleinen Preis. Da es sehr voll war, war die Bedienung gut am rotieren, hat uns aber nicht zu lange warten lassen und war sehr nett. Das Ambiente entspricht dem Namen - Anfang 1900, mit den passenden Dekorelementen, tres chic :)

Gambas all you can eat war unsere Wahl. Kann man machen, ist lecker und das Personal ist sehr freundlich.
