Very tasty food at reasonable prices. Good service. Gladly again.

We were at L etable on Sunday lunchtime and enjoyed a fantastic menu. The food was high quality and beautifully presented. The service was competent and professional. We'd love to come back.

My criticism does not refer to Letable, but to the Restaurant Zum Stern. The quality of the food is not at the desired level for my taste. It doesn't do justice to the reputation of the house or the price. It may have been a poor day's performance. Let's see what it will be like next time.

More than 50 years ago from LKR HEF (Niederjossa) "emigrated" to the Rhineland to K/Bergisch Gladbach is an annual event “Positive must”: visiting (often twice) the Bad Hersfeld Festival! This also applies to this WE with friends from GL. This is of course combined with dinner. The gastronomy in the “Hotel zum Stern” was still the same as last year We have fond memories, which is why, as regular overnight guests at the B&F Hotel in HEF, we wanted to treat ourselves to the gourmet restaurant "L'etable" for the first time. A premiere, so to speak. Our friends from Bergisch Gladbach also love the "starred gastronomy", which is available there so “a lot” in our region.. Back in January we had reserved a table in the gourmet restaurant “L’etable” for the evening of July 22, 2023 to visit the festival. Is also highly recommended during this “exceptional time” in Bad Hersfeld. After a very successful one We had our table for the King Lear performance in the afternoon in the “Stiftsruine” at 7 p.m. The conclusion of this evening, which was unforgettable for us in terms of the service, the quality of the food and the wine, was: Excellently coordinated, aromatic menu with delicious wine and extremely attentive, friendly and competent service. In view of the “culinary atmosphere, kitchen greetings, refreshments and endings”, the - Nomen est Omen - (selection made easy for this occasion) “FESTIVE MENU” offered a very good price-performance ratio. Our friends and we, who are able to enjoy “starred cuisine” every now and then due to the larger selection in the Cologne area, were completely satisfied with the variety of flavors and menu selection. What was unusual for us - our friends didn't know it at all - was that the regional and Hessian specialty cooked cheese was served alongside salt and salted butter alongside the very tasty home-baked bread. An absolute “childhood memory” for me and my wife. Even the usual caraway was not missing, a “delight”…..! The following is absolutely worth mentioning and a huge compliment to the extremely attentive head waiter: Of course, his “infatuation with cooked cheese” didn’t go unnoticed by him and he happily served us two more bowls of the delicious cooked cheese. What a hospitable gesture. We were completely happy with this menu; The photos speak for themselves….! To make the visit to the “Hotel zum Stern” completely unforgettable, this incident happened the next morning. As is usual in Bad Hersfeld, the next day we had a “breakfast pint” on the outdoor terrace of the Hotel zum Stern early at noon and enjoyed, among other things, a delicious Radeberger Pils. As the weather this week would have it, there was a stormy wind that caused the parasols/umbrellas to sway alarmingly. To be on the safe side, we went inside to the hotel bar with our glasses half full. The nice and attentive head waiter from the previous evening noticed us and remembered our “affinity for cooked cheese” and spontaneously gave us two bowls of cooked cheese with pretzel pastry. WOW, what a hospitable gesture. In the current times the catering industry is currently going through, it's extraordinary! 👍 We will remember this evening and this experience for a long time and will be happy to be guests at “L'etable” again in the certainty that there will be a “Festival in Bad Hersfeld” again in 2024.

We ate there on June 30, 23. Great wines and a bombastic menu. Definitely worth a visit.

Essen auf sehr hohem Niveau....einfach perfekt

Wahrscheinlich hatte das Restaurant einen schlechten Tag. Musste hungrig nachause fahren. -Spargel war bitter. -Amüs ist für mich nicht gekommen. Die Männliche Services Kraft war leider unfähig und unfreundlich für einen Restaurant dieser angeblichen super Klasse. Darum nur 3 Sternchen Hier sollten definitiv die Sterne Prüfer noch ein paar mal genauer hin schauen .

Sehr freundlicher Service, sehr faires Preis-Leistungsverhältnis - eher zu unseren Gunsten gerechnet. Trotz Zeitdrucks (Vorstellung in der Stiftsruine) perfektes Timing ohne Hast. Sehr leckere Kompositionen, viele sehr geschmackvolle Kleinigkeiten zwischendurch. Das Restaurant hätte Räume mit mehr Ambiente verdient

Schlechter Service, gute Zutaten und langweilige Umsetzung

Ausgezeichnetes Sternerestaurant. Kreative und moderne Küche. Hohe Qualität der eingesetzten Produkte. Geschmackvoll zubereite Speisen. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die Fischgerichte. Ansprechende Getränkekarte. Freundlicher und kompetenter Service. Schönes Ambiente. Die Preise sind angemessen.

schwierig ... Zusammengefasst: - Essen 4 Sterne - Ambiente 2 Stern - Service 3 Sterne (wobei ich da berücksichtige, dass ein ganz junger Mitarbeiter da war, der auch das Recht hat, mal nicht super souverän zu sein). Zum Essen: Ob es jetzt einen Stern verdient hat oder nicht, darüber kann man sich streiten, es war jedenfalls nah dran. Alles war sehr gut und kreativ, es gab gleich mehrere Grüße aus der Küche, lecker, optisch schön und auch handwerklich einfach gut. Lecker. Ambiente: Geht gar nicht. Ein fensterloser kleiner Raum, mit Teppich, 90er-Jahre Lampen, die Blume am Tisch etwas verwelkt. Klar, das Hotel kann sein zweites Restaurant, das vermutlich 90% des Ertrags macht, nicht nach innen setzen. Aber man kann auch aus einem fensterlosen Raum viel mehr machen, man braucht einfach nen guten Innenarchitekten und ein gutes Lichtkonzept. Die Küche ist direkt gegenüber, es wurde mit großem "Schwung" Besteck eingeräumt, das Geklimper war einfach nervig. Das geht einfach nicht, wenn man ein Sternerestaurant auf der anderen Seite des Gangs hat. Service: Bemüht, aber nicht wirklich souverän. Schon die Dame am Eingang ließ uns erst mal stehen, die Weinkarte wurde nicht gebracht, etc. Das war alles kein Beinbruch, aber nicht in einem Restaurant mit Stern. Fazit: Gute Küche in einem unpassenden Umfeld.

Extrem teuer. Uns ging's schlecht nach dem Essen. Zuviele Geschmacksrichtungen bei den verschiedenen Gängen. Inneneinrichtung lässt zu Wünschen übrig. Fande die Weine nicht passend zum Essen. Wir waren leider enttäuscht.

Einfach fantastisch. Tatsächlich sollte man nicht hungrig hingehen. Die Gänge sind nicht üppig aber geschmacklich perfekt abgestimmt. Geschmacklich kreativ und erlebnisreich ist. Erfreulich sind die vielen Grüße aus der Küche. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Gourmetrestaurants passt hier auch die Weinbegleitung. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist der fensterlose Raum, was aber nichts mit dem Essen zu tun hat.

Alles sehr, sehr gut und absolut zu empfehlen. Toll, dass es in unserer Heimat doch noch ein Küchenmeister mit dem Stern gebacken bekommt und das zurecht! In dieser Preisklasse muss es für 5 Sterne dann aber wirklich perfekt sein. Bei meinem Besuch hätte ich mir etwas mehr Kreativität vom Service erhofft.

Wirklich toll, sehr zu empfehlen.

Preise mögen gehoben sein, dafür haben sie die mir beste bekannteste grüne Soße die ich kenne! Alleine dafür sollte man einen Besuch wagen.
