Calamari We do not have calamari on our menu – accordingly, we could not have served it. This information is simply incorrect. 2. Burgers & Fries Our burgers are freshly prepared. – We do not use cheese sauce in any of our burgers. – Soggy fries are very unlikely here: Our frying oil is changed every two days, and its care is documented in writing and can be viewed on-site at any time. 3. Vegetarian Options We offer numerous vegetarian dishes, as you can see from our menu. We do not offer sandwiches – this is another case of confusion. 4. Child-Friendliness Children are very welcome here. We automatically provide coloring books and pencils as soon as a child is seated at the table. Our menu also includes a separate children's menu, clearly visible to all guests. 5. Ambience Taste and atmosphere are subjective – we naturally accept that you may not personally like our ambiance. 6. Value for Money Our prices are transparent and fairly calculated – just look at our menu. We don't offer a burger for €30; this is easy to verify. Conclusion: If your visit had really been so negative, we would have liked you to speak to our management directly on site. I was really excited about the Leonhard Diner: A stylish American diner in Karlsfeld with a large terrace – the ambiance is actually the only thing that's even remotely convincing here. The decor is pleasantly reminiscent of a classic American diner, and there's even a separate area for the diner and restaurant – which initially seems appealing on paper. But then the major disappointment begins: ⸻ 1. Disastrous Service The staff tried hard, but were completely uncoordinated. We waited forever for a waiter to take additional requests – after more than 30 minutes, there was still no response. Even polite inquiries were dismissed with an annoyed tone, as if we were being a nuisance. ⸻ 2. Lukewarm and Disappointing Food Ordered calamari as an appetizer – according to older reviews, it used to be good. Here: rubbery, greasy, and tasteless. The main course – a burger – arrived lukewarm, the meat seemed overpowered, and the flavor was carried solely by too much cheese sauce. The fries were soggy, presumably from an old deep fryer. ⸻ 3. Unsuitable for Vegetarians Vegetarian options? Barely any. A lackluster salad, a baked sandwich with barely recognizable vegetables – that's it. No veggie-friendly main courses, no plant-based patty, no alternatives upon request. Absolutely out of step for a modern restaurant. ⸻ 4. Children are not welcome here The diner is also not very suitable for families. No children's menu, no consideration for smaller guests. We felt like our children were simply not welcome – the staff's tone was impatient, almost brusque, whenever they asked questions or took a little longer. A place where you don't feel welcome with children – unfortunately. ⸻ 5. Ambience: Quickly Overwhelming At first glance, a cool retro design, but it quickly wears off. Garish colors, monotonous music, and a rather uncomfortable feeling – after a short time, it simply becomes tiring rather than atmospheric. ⸻ 6. Value for Money is Completely Out of Line Prices of up to €30 for burgers and the like are disproportionate to the quality offered. There are specials like happy hour or daily specials, but they don't save it. Our cocktails were sweet, artificial, and seemed like they were made from ready-made concentrate. The drinks followed the same principle as the food: all show, little substance. ⸻ Conclusion The Leonhard Diner has potential – but none of it is realized. The location is nice, but the service, food, and atmosphere are disappointing across the board. Unsuitable for vegetarians, unpleasant for families, and overall too expensive for what you get. Definitely not a recommendation – we won't be back.

Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing visit. The waitress was rude from the start, made us wait a long time for the menu, and became rude when we paid because we didn't leave a tip. One of my friends didn't even get the correct change. As we left, we were even given the middle finger. Absolutely disrespectful – we definitely won't be back.

The only reason I didn't give it just one star was the friendly and attentive service and the pleasant atmosphere. I don't think the breakfast is good value for money. Is there a legitimate reason to only accept cash these days? Luckily, there's an ATM in the parking lot.

Disappointing..... I often have steak dinner with you... Everything was always right... Today for breakfast, it was a lesson for me....never again.... Our drinks came immediately (my coffee was spilled in the saucer, a fresh one was brought to me immediately after I complained about it)... We had to wait 30 minutes for our breakfast (Karlsfelder and Munich breakfasts, which were really good) (coffee was of course cold by now). we need something else... Therefore not recommended for “breakfast”....

Food was good but we got the wrong food and the waiter asked us to pay early and cash only what the sign on the toilets showed so it was not totally clear. After we almost finished we took tissues from the table next to us( the whole restaurant was empty ) and were then asked to get them from the register next time. Like the american touch tho

First of all: we had an exceptionally bright, competent, and very polite young waiter. It's not his fault, but it's quite surprising in 2025: apart from fries and a side salad, there's nothing, absolutely nothing, vegan. Lactose-intolerant people and others who don't want to consume cow's milk don't even have the option of ordering oat, soy, or almond milk. So if you're happy with a cup of black coffee and fries, go ahead! P.S. The completely empty cake display case is very decorative!

With no vegetarian or vegan options at all, but instead offering a "Cheesburger Challenge" (please do not confuse this with the Cheeseburger Challenge), this restaurant is pursuing a rather unusual concept these days. The staff was extremely attentive and polite, the coffee was warm, the beer was pleasantly cold, and the fries were crispy. There are several video cameras installed throughout the restaurant. A sign informing you about this is posted in the entrance area.

Have been there several times, and again yesterday. We had to wait a long time for the food, even though there was hardly anything going on (I came from the restaurant myself). Things went quicker the other day, even though the hut was full. Apparently they have a new chef because the dishes looked and tasted different than usual. Unfortunately the paddy on the bottom of my burger was burnt and my friend's steak was fried to death. Just the fact that the steaks are pounded like schnitzel 🤦🏻‍♀️ It's a shame, we were disappointed yesterday and ate it anyway because we were hungry and we didn't want to wait another 45 minutes for the food. At least the Kaiserschmarrn was good, although it was more for the price. Waitress was very friendly.

“Good” prices are quoted for what is on offer. When extra side dishes are added, beer is 0.4... it feels very expensive. Furnishings good, but fake, not authentic. Service tried hard, but this is precisely why there is a gastronomic disadvantage: "one" doesn't serve the plates (here wooden boards) when the other person at the table is still eating. And "you" always leave a glass (even if empty) for the guest until he/she leaves. Well, maybe too authentic here, because that's what the Americans do, but I'm in Germany.

Food was okay but I don't understand why you can only pay in cash! I don't care at all, we're in 2024 and they have to have a card machine available and not tell customers "go to Allguth and buy something so you can withdraw money!" Normally I would leave immediately but I stayed because of my friends ! The waiter should get a card reader instead of sending people to withdraw money!

We celebrated my friend's birthday at Sound Hünnt with 40 guests and it was simply fantastic! The boss took wonderful care of everything from the start and prepared everything with a lot of love. During the celebration, she made sure everything ran smoothly so that we could fully concentrate on celebrating. The food was super tasty and was well received by all guests. I had brought glasses for flowers and cake plates and I received them back a few days after the celebration, freshly washed and neatly packaged - a really great service. We will definitely be happy to organize our celebrations again. Thank you for this lovely evening.

Pretty nice here. Mixed crowd, something for everyone on the menu. But the staff obviously doesn't feel like it at all. No smile when greeting. The waitress has even less motivation than the guy at the bar. No please, thank you, “do you want something to eat”. Absolutely no go. Last round of drinks hour before the end.

We were actually looking forward to this restaurant - until we read a sentence in the menu: "Due to our government's generous ability to distribute our money around the world, we are unfortunately forced to adjust our food prices to reflect the 12% VAT increase." Sorry, but then the owner of the restaurant has no idea about the world and politics. So we look for another place.

Went to the US Car meeting on Sunday and there was a great atmosphere and a good mood. The staff was extremely friendly and immediately pointed out that the food was taking time because there was so much going on. Perfect, we'll be happy to come back and next time we'll eat something too 😀

The food is okay, unfortunately my family had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes for the food (despite the reduced day ticket at the US Car meeting). The friendly waitress tried her best.

Six of us were here on a Sunday morning, half past 11. Waiting time for breakfast after ordering over a whole hour. That's just way too much for a few sausages, eggs and bacon. We were also there before the large crowds of car enthusiasts arrived. No card payment possible, that's an even bigger problem! Man, it's 2024, what speaks against the introduction of card terminals? Political statement in the menu that simply has no place there. The waitresses are friendly and do their best - so you can't blame the staff there. But the store needs more people during these rush hours. The music volume was way too high, the six of us could hardly talk together. The food and coffee were fine. We won't be coming back.

First time at the local american-mexican diner was pleasant. The outdoor sitting on a warm sunny day is perfect to enjoy a cool mojito with a side of mexican food. As for the food quality, I was a little disappointed as i expected the taste to be more spicy and with more queso! Drink was perfect with a cute marshmallow on the side. The wait staff was very responsive and kind to my requests. Would definitely go back to try the other things from their menu.

We really enjoyed being here with the family. However, the prices have become inhumane. At the same time, the food no longer tastes good, and instead of 3 sauces there are only 2, and they charge 4-5€ more for them. Back then the plates were really full, and the prices were already high at the time. Unfortunately, you have lost us as regular customers. However, I wish the great staff all the best.

We were there for breakfast. We ordered the breakfast menu for 2. Two FRESH-squeezed orange juices were advertised. However, these were very watery and unfortunately tasted more like tetra pack juice. We asked the waitress whether the juice was freshly squeezed. She said the juice was from yesterday... According to our inquiries, the conditions were no longer as friendly as at the beginning. The bread and rolls were baked and very soft. For a price of €40 we hope for more.

Wir waren zur Sylvester Feier dort. Chefin und Personal sind super freundlich. Die Bedienung sehr professionell und schnell. Dafür dass der Küchenchef das Essen an diesem Abend alleine"gewuppt" hat Respekt für das leckere Essen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke für den schönen Abend.

Das Diner ist gut eingerichtet jedoch sehr laut. Sehr große Auswahl. Die Taccos gut nur leider im Salat aufgeweicht. Schade

Erst gab es Komplikationen beim Servieren, obwohl vorher explizit nochmal alle Wünsche abgefragt worden sind. Danach wurde die Chefin persönlich und hat die Gäste angeschnauzt und zu guter Letzt hab es lauwarmes Essen. Traurigerweise ist der McDonald's nebenan in Sachen Qualität und Service die bessere Wahl. Ambiente ist ganz nett, aber nach so einer Aktion ist der Abend trotzdem gelaufen. Would not recommend.

Freundlich, Nett zuvorkommend, essen war schnell da und das Ambiente war super. Man merkt das sie wissen was Service ist. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und war der Perfekte Ausklang vom Tag. Zum Besuch auf dem US Car treffen einen Abstecher ins Diner gemacht. Die Terrasse ist schon gut besucht. Service war freundlich und unsere Bestellung wurde freundlich aufgenommen und zeitnah bekamen wir unsere Getränke und Speisen. Qualität entspricht was man von einem Diners erwartet. Die Einrichtung ist authentisch für ein Diners gehalten. Preis Leistung ist okay.

Essen ist lecker aber für einen Burger mit Pommes und ein Radler über 20 Euro zu verlangen ist frech. Um die 24 Euro wenn ich es noch richtig in Erinnerung habe.

Cooles Ambiente leider sehr instabilie Rückwand zum anlehnen nicht geeignet. Essen war in Ordnung allesärdings sind die Burgergrößen für den Preis eher mikrig.

Das Restaurant sieht sehr schön aus, das Essen ist toll aber ich finde da ist alles sehr teuer. Hab 8€ für ein Wasser bezahlt. Hab 1 Stunde auf das Essen gewartet und die Kellnerinnen waren sehr unhöflich zu mir. Nie wieder gehe ich dahin.
