Visited my mates in Germany and invited them for a Dinner a while ago, surprisingly it was a well served Buffet with Rips, Schnitzel and more. Just lovely friendly atmosphere. Loved every minute.

Yes, there was a lot going on on Saturday at 6 p.m. But there is a reason for that. Great selection at the buffet. Starters, main courses, desserts, everything was as delicious as your mother's. We have to come back as we couldn't try everything. So much choice. But what's awesome, after Corona, unfortunately you don't see that often anymore, the super nice and quick service staff. Chapeau.

Our visit was as a family of 4 adults. We found space outside at a good 25°C. The service was quick and friendly. The waiting times for food are justified. Lunch as a buffet, simply tasty. Everything was smooth sailing. We'd love to come back.

Overall, the restaurant impressed us. As described in the advertising, we expected traditional German cuisine and it was more than adequately delivered. There were also other culinary influences that were delicious. The staff was very courteous and reliable. The atmosphere and facilities were convincing. We also think it's great that the dishes at the buffet change daily, making a second visit even more worthwhile. Even as a large group, we were served quickly. We were particularly impressed by the diverse selection of desserts.

Always eaten buffet so far. Because the bowls are not always replaced when the food is overcooked, but usually only when it is gone, a star deduction. The service could use a boost during peak hours. The drinks take too long and the plates sometimes pile up. If you still have to settle the bill, you can feel a slight hecticness. You should also avoid passing/placing drinks across the table or touching the edge of the glass. => But everyone is ALWAYS friendly and has good manners. The ambience is sometimes treated a bit "pansy" but the concept of home cooking comes across clearly.

Rich food buffet including starters and desserts. Good selection (flat rate €16.50). Unfortunately, à la carte is not offered.

What a good meal at Leinemahl. Lunch buffet. A rich buffet with fresh dishes. Everything is deliciously prepared and always refilled. Crunchy salads and spicy sauces, desserts, fruit and even soft ice cream. For a price that is probably unparalleled. The service at the table was extremely friendly and accommodating. The drinks came quickly and were well chilled. Anyone who comes here will certainly not be disappointed. We'd love to come back

Had a buffet lunch today, everything was hot, clean, very tasty and it was always refilled straight away. Service was very friendly, and used plates were cleared away immediately. We were very satisfied and pleased.

We've been coming here for years and loved it - they used to have the best spareribs outside of the USA. Unfortunately, the number of dishes and the creativity decreased significantly after the introduction of the buffet. Unfortunately for us, the lunch buffet has now taken on the character of a canteen. But the price-performance ratio is absolutely given. The ingredients are high quality. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We want the old line meal back.

So the buffet is really great, I recommend going there in the evening and eating the buffet, it's really delicious. The service was really super friendly and the people there were really super friendly. I can highly recommend it. And the selection is really huge, and for the money it's really a bargain and mega mega mega tasty, the meat is butter tender just the way you like it, the fish is cooked to perfection so it's really worth recommending. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. For 16.90 an entire buffet including starters and a large selection of desserts. You can't even get a main course for that in other restaurants these days! In our opinion, one of the best restaurants in the Hildesheim district.

Traveled from Hildesheim and didn't regret it. Been there for the second time and was overwhelmed for the second time. Delicious and always fresh. My duck was also there and knew how to behave in this atmosphere. The animal was not a problem in the store.

We were in Leinemal Essen on Easter Monday. There was a buffet and it was super tasty and the rooms were very rustic. The waitress was also great, helpful, courteous and friendly. We were lucky that we got a table. Table reservation is highly recommended! We'd love to come back.

Today we were able to enjoy the lunch buffet at the unbeatable price of 11.90 euros per person. It was our first time in this restaurant and we were greeted extremely friendly and asked if we had been here before. When we said no, the friendly young man who served us explained to us how the buffet was set up and where we could find something. Excellent! From a creamy vegetable soup as a starter with a baguette, which you can cut fresh yourself, to a rich salad buffet with fresh, crunchy and delicious salads as well as a fabulous selection of main courses and not forgetting a large selection of desserts and fresh fruit, everything is available the price-performance ratio is absolutely harmonious. The main dishes offered in the buffet today included croquettes, fried potatoes with fresh mushrooms, sweet potato fries, crunchy green beans, emperor vegetables, chicken served in a tasty chickpea and sweet potato vegetable, schnitzel, hake in a dill cream sauce, hollandaise and a delicious sambal sauce. All thumbs up from us, we will be back and would be happy to recommend Leinemahl.
