Very tasty meal at a beautiful place next to the Cathedral. Service was fantastic even after a chaotic downpour after which we received enormous help. The lasagna, bolognese and Caesar salad with shrimp were definitely recommended. We would definitely come back here!

Terrible service: the waiter spilled a whole glass of wine on my white pants, brought a dirty piece of cloth to dry out the pants, and said he would not charge me for the spilled wine. When complained to the manager, I got a reply: “he is a nice guy, why are you so unhappy”.

We were asked by the service staff at the entrance whether we just wanted to drink something or also order something to eat. Since it was the European Championships and there was a free spot right on the side with a good view, we politely asked if we could sit there. We were seated directly at the back table with poor visibility even though we were not moved when we asked further. Subsequent guests were then seated at these better seats (with the justification that they would each order a main course. Addition: no food was ordered). Schnitzel for 28€ overpriced and not fair to the price (worse quality) + soggy fries. Wouldn't recommend a visit due to the service.

Wanted to have a quick drink at the Leger am Dom this afternoon. If 15 minutes were ignored, there were enough tables available. Were then rejected. "The table is only served with food" Closed due to wealth, but unfortunately that was nothing. We've been sitting relaxed in the Franciscan since then.

My family and I stumbled across this restaurant when walking around Munich. The staff was so friendly and our waiter, Nikolaos, was very polite and patient with us since two people in the family only spoke English. The cappuccino was excellent along with the Currywurst. After going to Köln many times, this Currywurst is up to par. We also got the burrata, which was creamy and delicious. Enjoyed this place and would definitely go again!

Great location and very modern atmosphere. A little away from the hustle and bustle of Kaufingerstrasse, right next to the cathedral. Went there for lunch and all in all good. The service was very friendly, although a little slow, even though it wasn't busy. Beef fillet was on point medium - which is what you would expect for €36. Unfortunately, we found the sauce for the truffle pasta to be a bit bland and very runny. For me the ideal place for a coffee break or drinks. There are better places to eat in the neighborhood :-)

After your shopping tour, one of the best places to stop by and enjoy a beer or coffee. Veggie pizza was delicious. They also have chili oil which is rare in most places. I enjoyed my time here so much. Highly recommend

Quite nice from the outside, but a drowned carpaccio in olive oil without any taste, then saying that it was terrible, and that the German also says thank you, is pretty bad. Weizen was just fine, so just go with it for beer only

As a single lady, I was asked away from the table for four, even though at 2 p.m. on Thursday, the restaurant was almost empty...All the tables for four were and remained empty! Outrageous. The first and last time. Such misogynistic behavior towards single women is the lowest level. Could only give 1* but since I couldn't try the food as I lost my appetite. Therefore 3* out of fairness.

Incredibly beautiful place in a top location and soooo lovely staff. You feel very welcome and your personal wishes are also taken into account. We spent around €50 on two drinks, a tarte flambée and a pinsa. A little pricey but totally worth it. You could taste every ingredient extremely well and so did the quality. Very, very happy again!

Worst meal in Munich. Service very poor. Ordered spaghetti bolognese. Sauce was very watery. Had to ask for Bread even though other tables were served it. Asked for a simple glass of ice water with our meal but told we had to Buy an overpriced bottle of water to get the ice. Waitress was a snob. We saw her turning people away at 08:30 even though they closed at 09:00 pm Food way overpriced. Will definitely not be back.

Great burger and excellent service.

Very strange evening, at first we had to wait a few minutes because the seats were assigned, the speed of the waitresses was already noticeable here, not too fast to put it nicely. When ordering, some little things were missing, the ordered mayo, a knife, and the wrong drink was brought to the table. This is all still within reason. However, at 9:34 p.m. a waiter came to the table and said we had to order one last round of drinks because the bar closed at 10 p.m. Our glasses were still full, but we still ordered another round because the waiter also said that we could stay seated until 11 p.m. From 9:50 p.m. onwards it became hectic, the waiters who had previously been so lethargic suddenly became quite quick, cleared away all the tables that were already free, and it was approaching the end of the working day. Shortly after 10 p.m. we were politely asked to finish our drinks and leave. It's a shame, because the location of the restaurant is great, the ambience is wonderful, the food and drinks are unfortunately too expensive compared to the neighbors and the waitresses' behavior unfortunately prevented me from visiting Leger again.

Went to the restaurant last night. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the food was also very good and plentiful. The prices are relatively reasonable, as the restaurant is located directly in the shadow of the Frauenkirche. The terrace invites you to linger. The toilets are clean and tidy. The overall impression of the restaurant was very good. We had a friendly, attentive but unobtrusive waiter, something you rarely find today. The eye is always on the guest, but still unobtrusive. (Since I worked in the catering industry for a long time, I pay a lot of attention to the service ;o) ) In a short conversation we learned that his name is Daniel and that he is originally from Romania. We liked his authenticity and professionalism. More waiters and waitresses like this, please!

Great food, great hospitality from Sanja, she is very nice and friendly and really quick. We came by bike and will soon be back here from Freising. Great thing.

Ένας χώρος που σε κερδίζει αμέσως. Ο Ντάνιελ που μας καλωσόρισε ήταν ένας αληθινός επαγγελματίας, με τις γνώσεις και το χιούμορ του μας έκανε να νιώθουμε πολύ όμορφα. Το φαγητό ήταν καταπληκτικό ότι δοκιμάσαμε, όπως και το Ιταλικό κρασί. Ευγενεστατη η κοπέλα από το Βιετνάμ. Το προτείνω θα περάσετε υπέροχα. Ευχαριστούμε από Ελλάδα. Είναι ο καλύτερος σολωμός που έφαγα στο Μόναχο.

Very nice and very good service Salad dressing, a bit boring

I lived in Bavaria for five years decades ago and it was such a treat to be able to return and show Munich to my husband and young adult children. Stopping at Leger am DOM across from the famous Frauenkirche was a treat. New Year's Eve, we enjoyed excellent and efficient service and delicious German food. Our family was very happy sitting at a quiet place in the restaurant at our large table enjoying our pumpkin soups, pasta and truffles, and various cuisine. Visit Leger am DOM. It is a good restaurant. Be sure to check out the DOM, the Frauenkirche, across the pedestrian alley after your meal.

Es la primera vez en 8 años en la que veo a mi pareja, alemán, no dejar propina en un restaurante. El servicio se equivocó en las bebidas y puso mala cara cuando se le indicó. Olvidamos elegir guarnición con el Schnitzel, trajeron la contrario a la que queríamos. Cuando se le preguntó si podían cambiarla, respondieron secamente con un rotundo no (a pesar de que se trataba de una simple ensalada de patatas). Curioso, nunca antes había visto una contestación así en ningún sitio como cliente. Sitio “mono” aunque mesas muy juntas. Comida bastante media. Recomiendo cualquier sitio alrededor de la catedral, que, aunque sean turísticos, se come mucho mejor.

Ein tolle Restaurant, mit wenig Speisen deckt verschiedene Geschmäcke ab. Ganz Nah am Geschehen gut erreichbar. Empfehlung

Locale davvero molto bello, colori rilassanti e comodi divani in sezione privé. Buona scelta di prodotti locali, con molte sfumature italiane. Incontrato un cameriere davvero gentile e poliglotta, sempre con il sorriso. La cucina leggermente salata per i miei gusti, ma molto buona nei prodotti utilizzati.

Achtung: Mit Kinderwagen ist man nicht erwünscht. In der Stadt unterwegs und kurz wo Einkehren ist im Leger nicht möglich, hat man einen Kinderwagen dabei. “Alles sei reserviert “ ist die Ansage. Die nachfolgenden Gäste (gleiche Personen-Anzahl aber ohne Kind), werden auch ohne Reservierung durchgewunken - man hat sich ausgetauscht beim „Kreuzen“.

Gutes Essen, moderne/ gemütliche Einrichtung, freundliche Bedienung!

Ich kann die Bewertungen bezüglich unfreundlichem Personal nicht nachvollziehen! Sehr freundlich auch ohne Reservierung, zügig in der Abwicklung! Der Preis für die Currywurst etwas hoch aber man sitzt hier in bester Lage Münchens in der Innenstadt!

Um etwas zu trinken darf man nicht auf die Loungigen Sofas sondern wird an die zugige Tür an die die stehtische verwiesen. Hier ist der Kunde wohl nicht der König. Schade!

Wir haben am 3. Advent draußen gesessen. Schön geschmückt und direkt am Dom. Der Service war klasse.

It was an exploratory visit. And I did not regret it! Service was more than five stars. I had such a pleasant service crew person. She was polite, interactive, friendly and made me feel comfortable. What a joy to have at 7pm when I was sitting for an evening drink. The atmosphere was awesome. Great moment to sit and people watch. The lighting setup for Christmas was brilliant!!! Enjoyed the mulled wine and pinsa. Visit Leger Am Dom when in Munich. Sit outdoors. Ask for the heater (if you need it), ask for blankets and sheep skin for your seat.

A really nice restaurant in the middle of the Munich city. We walked around, find this place and immediately liked it. We visited the "Leger am Dom" for a few drinks and were very satisfied. Great ambience and nice service.

Good choice if you are looking to experience a typical Bavarian restaurant with typical dishes and interior. However, the restaurant is not suitable for vegetarians. It is a bit expensive, can sometimes be too crowded and the staff seemed a bit stressed at times.

Spontan im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes zu zweit "vorbeigeschneit" an einem kalten windigen Novembertag. ❄️ Ebenso spontan zwei relativ ruhige Plätze am Fenster bekommen. 👍 Karte war sehr übersichtlich, hätte mit etwas mehr Auswahl gerechnet. Dennoch oder gerade deswegen, waren Essen und Trinken schnell da, waren gut und haben satt gemacht. Wenn man bei den Gerichten mehr nach Preis, denn nach Lustgefühl geht, ist wie in unserem Fall der Preis noch in Ordnung. Sind nach dem Essen und bezahlen spontan noch etwas geblieben, ohne vorzeitig vertrieben zu werden, obwohl der Laden voll gewesen war. Danke dafür. Erst nachdem eine Reservierung für unseren Tisch angekündigt wurde, haben wir uns langsam auf den Weg gemacht. Für den schnellen Hunger und anregende Gespräche im Schatten des Liebfrauen-Doms gerne eine Empfehlung wert

Sehr schönes Lokal für deutsche Verhältnisse. Sehr freundliches Personal! Hunde sind auch erlaubt! Positiv!! Kleines Menü.. ja.. aber sehr leckeres Essen, deswegen besser so! Etwas teuer, aber wegen der Lage kann man es verstehen.
