Lebrechts Scheunenfest in Esslingen am Neckar

Was closed, we were there after 10 km. hiking so looking forward to a refreshment 😥.

Reservation by phone worked great. The question as to whether there was live music was confirmed as YES. At the entrance we had to pay an entrance fee of 20 euros per person. The reason for this was live music => that wasn't what we were told on the phone! Payment for this is cash ONLY! There was no receipt and the money was put into a separate cash register. Regarding the food => Large and extensive selection from meat to vegetarian. However, the food came to the table a little cold. The portions are a bit lean for the price and could have been a little more. Which is also a NOGO if the cork of the wine bottle is not opened on site and comes already open! Ambiance => Cozy and pleasant. Prices: Well I have to admit it's not exactly a fair shop, it's a bit expensive! All in all: Price performance doesn't quite fit together!!

Really tasty food. A local restaurant with good quality. Try the homemade Lassi!

Great ambience and friendly service. Unfortunately my onion rostbaten was rather well done than medium. Otherwise everything was great. Will definitely come back.
