I once ordered takeout from here, salmon with vegetables. It was a very large portion and very tasty. The service was also very friendly and answered questions patiently. After ordering, the food was prepared fresh immediately. I'll definitely be back. Edit: I've been here several times now. Each time, I'm served in a friendly and quick manner. The food is delicious and the price is completely reasonable. I'm happy that it's now open on Sundays. Thank you, and keep up the good work!

This is our second visit. The advice about the food is very good. The selected dish, grilled mango chicken breast, was excellent. The advice from the young waitress couldn't have been better. His recommendation was spot on for us. The service was also very fast and friendly. The portions are very generous. Nicely and appetizingly presented. Nice and warm, and the fillet was crispy, but not hard. The Vietnamese-style coffee, I wouldn't order again. There was too much ice in it for me. If it's very hot, it might be pleasant. The prices are reasonable, especially for the food. (2 portions €25.80) Coffee €4.50, still water €3.30 Tea would have been a better option. The food offers are very good. The restaurant was well-filled at lunchtime. And we will definitely go there again.

Wow I went to many good Vietnamese restaurants already but this one raises the bar to a totally different level. I took a set meal. Just amazing, deserves 6 stars! Please keep it like this!!

Perfect. The food was very good, not overly seasoned. Vegetarian and vegan options were available. Very friendly service made you feel truly welcome as a guest.

An absolute recommendation. A very good Vietnamese restaurant with many dishes you can't find everywhere. The staff is super friendly, and the food is 10/10. Ambience is certainly a matter of taste, but I think it's a great place to sit and eat with groups of up to four people. In summer, the fans keep it pleasantly cool.

It's a bit inconspicuous among the countless snack bars between the city center and the train station. That's why we've walked past it a few times. But a visit is definitely recommended. The shop is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is surprising, fresh, and delicious, with a certain authenticity. Definitely not your usual salt-and-glutamate monotony. We'll be walking past it less often in the future!

We stopped in here by chance and, as we glanced inside, were tempted by the beautifully presented dishes of other guests. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the drinks and food were served at the counter after ordering. The food was beautifully presented on a separate tray, the portions were perfect, and the taste was a dream. I've rarely had such good Asian food. Highly recommended insider tip!

Found it at Sponti Schmonti when I was feeling peckish. I ordered the red curry with duck and found it soooo delicious 😍😈 I highly recommend it. The waiter who served us was also super friendly and personable. If I'm acutely hungry again, I'll run there and be happy again 😎

I visited this restaurant today and was absolutely thrilled. The food was incredibly delicious and freshly prepared; I enjoyed every bite. The staff were all super friendly and attentive; I immediately felt welcome. I especially liked how child-friendly the restaurant is. The little ones even get their own dishes, which makes everything even more special. The atmosphere was really lovely and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal and enjoying the moment. Bland to tasteless. Since the waitress said all the meat was deep-fried, I opted for the vegetables with peanut sauce. A bad choice; the vegetables had no taste (frozen vegetables?) and the sauce was too salty. Plus, the snack bar smells so strongly of deep-fryer grease that the odor sticks to your clothes. I have no idea where the good reviews come from; you'll never see me here again.

A very good Asian restaurant with creative desserts and non-alcoholic cocktails. Many vegetarian and vegan options. A super nice atmosphere and friendly staff. After moving from Brühl to Mannheim, Le Lotus has become more of a proper restaurant than a takeaway. Nevertheless, the Vietnamese street food charm remains somehow well-preserved.

The first time I ate Vietnamese dishes, it was also very tasty, but it was quite coriander-heavy, which is not my cup of tea.

Really good Vietnamese restaurant with a lot of potentials. We ordered Ca phe sua da and homemade ginger tea with honey as our drinks. I especially love the ginger tea. As a starter, we ordered Goi cuon ga and it was the biggest Vietnamese spring roll we have ever eaten. It was really delicious as well. The chicken was nicely seasoned, the wrap was not tough, and the sauce complements everything well. For the main dishes, we ordered the Mam ga kho set and Com sot dau phong. The Mam set was a fun way of eating Vietnamese side dishes, soup, and dessert alongside with the main meal. For me, the braised chicken was too salty but the portion was generous. The chicken was fried perfectly for the Com sot dau phong. It was crispy delicious. However, we would love it if the peanut sauce was richer with a bolder taste. In overall, we would love to try other dishes from here.

Dinner 02/05/2025 - work carried out since my last visits, the restaurant has a larger menu with much more choice and 4 desserts. The dishes are as good as ever, and new bobun the crunchy vegetables and overall the fragrant dishes - Big downside the desserts Tiramisu, very liquid and the Vietnamese coconut pudding, a form of gelatin with no taste, not even that of coconut with red beans. The staff is helpful and smiling. Very clean. This restaurant is close to the train station and just before the main Wassertum axis

Today I went to eat "Fish Ball Noodles" at Le Lotus. It was really wonderful, the broth was sweet and the fish cakes were fresh, chewy and soft. The broth is not too salty, just right, making the dish extremely delicious. The fresh "fish cake" retains its natural sweetness and is crispy and melts in your mouth. This is a dish you must try when you come to Le lotus, everyone. In addition, there are many other dishes such as Bun Mat, Beef Pho, Goi Cuon, I will definitely come next time to experience other dishes☺️

Modern images of Vietnam, delicious delicacies such as rice noodle salads and spring rolls. The Pineapple Daydream made from Earl Grey, pineapple juice and lime was particularly delicious. The service was very accommodating.

For just under 20 euros you get a generous menu, including a drink (in my case a cola). The food is good both in quantity and taste. The service is very attentive and the restaurant is nicely decorated.

Vietnamese restaurant with many Vietnamese dishes such as Bun Salat or Mam Set. The food here is fresh and delicious, seasoned to suit your taste. I ordered the Rice Set with many side dishes such as soup, salad, pickles, tofu, and stir-fried beef which was very delicious and soft and also Obstsalat for dessert. Great combination. The space is decorated with many lanterns and typical Vietnamese photos. It's worth a try

I ordered rice with duck, it was really delicious, the staff was also very nice and cheerful.

The decor is very nice and the service is very pleasant. The portion is rather small and the taste is not authentic. My grilled pork (bún thịt nướng) cost €15.90. I think that's too expensive for a children's portion with a lack of taste.

Very friendly welcome at the front door and escort to the table. You can then place the order immediately. Pho Bo was extremely tasty and came quite quickly. I felt comfortable, both from the staff and the atmosphere. I give it a 100% recommendation!

Nice little VN restaurant. Food is on the salty side (common problem in Germany I find). Mâm (combo with meat, salad, soup, etc.) is a nice idea to showcase how we normally have home cooked meals. Bún cá was also good, which you don’t normally get at VN eateries.

Le Lotus has very delicious food, especially the chicken noodles and spring rolls👌 The staff is very friendly and helpful (holds the door open for older guests), which makes you feel really comfortable there. The atmosphere is relaxed, nicely decorated with bright colors, pictures and everything has an aesthetic look. What I would still like would be cocktails/drinks, so far there are only soft drinks or water. But that is already in progress👍 Am very satisfied

For me it's definitely the best (quick) Asian restaurant in Mannheim, I often go there on my lunch break or after work. Mega delicious dishes (I'm just saying mango sauce, summer rolls, etc - always fresh), super nice staff, great atmosphere, you just feel totally at home there. The whole team puts their heart and soul into it - and that definitely rubs off on the dishes and the guests, simply great! Please keep it up, you are just wonderful! ❤️👍
