You have to look at Lavanderia Vecchia as an overall experience. The backyard restaurant is located in an old industrial laundry room and makes this a highlight: simple furniture, clotheslines and towels on the ceilings and a decidedly uncomplicated ambience with lots of humor. Exactly two menus are offered, one of which is vegetarian. The food is simply brought to the table in large bowls from which you can help yourself. In addition to the four courses, the fixed price of €60 also includes bread, water and a genuine house wine (empty bottles are immediately refilled). The staff is quick and relaxed and the grappa at the exit rounds off the experience. The consistently high quality of the food alone might not justify the price, but the overall concept works and makes you want to come back.

Very tasty dinner, no problem switching a course to the vegetarian version because a fish component just wasn't our thing. In addition to the excellent food, what is particularly noteworthy is the hospitality of the hostess, daughter of the original owners and incredibly warm, natural and friendly. Where should I start? The restaurant is just cool, I felt very good from the first moment. And this is what my 11 friends who celebrated my birthday with me last Saturday also said. Special ambience, attentive service, good concept

Es war ein fabelhaftes, kulinarisches Erlebnis. Die Gänge waren sehr gut aufeinander abgestimmt, kamen in ausreichend zeitlichen Abstand. Als Gast hatte man den Eindruck wirklich jederzeit wahrgenommen und besonders wertgeschätzt zu werden. Der Service und das Konzept des Lokals überzeugten rundweg und können nur nachdrücklich zum Besuch empfohlen werden.

Sehr leckeres Essen, guter Service und eine angenehme Atmosphäre, ud das alles in einem sehr originell eingerichteten Lokal, wo es auch etwas fürs Auge gibt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We chose this highly rated Italian restaurant for a special meal on a special day, but they even served the first bread salad without burrata to the table. I can say that the pasta that arrived was a disgrace and beyond. If we had microwaved something at home and eaten it, I'm sure it would have been more delicious. I just liked the lighting on site.

Finally Italian cuisine like it is cooked in Italy. Price performance (59.- for the 5 course menu including 1 bottle of water and 1 bottle of good wine, café and digestive) is very good. Antipasti: Caponata and Insalata di Pulpo simple but very good. Prime: Homemade pasta with swordfish, olive, etc. extremely tasty with equally fine flavors. Secondo: Salmon fried with green asparagus (2 pieces!) and a very neutral cream. Unfortunately, it was a bit bland compared to the dishes we previously enjoyed. Dolce: Cheeskake with strawberry topping/fruit was delicious. Hans goes home satisfied and will definitely come back. 🖖😎

This laundry is an expensive canteen. The food was boring. Lots of courses, everything somehow the same, except for the soup and the espresso (which was excellent, though). Service is unprofessional, seems cool or overly nice. I was there a year ago and the store had a top menu. There doesn't seem to be anything left, except for the glowing beer mats. I won't be coming back for a while.

We were here in a large group! Unfortunately everything was either unsalted, over-salted or straight out of the canteen! Please try to define the dishes and not change them too often! The potential is there, but the taste also has to be an experience.

Great atmosphere and amazing food. The restaurant is very well decorated with dim lighting and there’s a smoking room in the back for smokers. The food was outstanding, and you get your money’s worth. Delicious Italian dishes and a very good house wine. The fix price includes 2 appetizers, 2 mains, fantastic bread, desert, unlimited sparkling water, a bottle of wine, coffee, and a digestif. We had the vegetarian menu which was a real treat. Pro tip: if you go for dinner definitely skip lunch because it’s a lot of food 😋 The only cons I saw were: -The open kitchen isn’t very well ventilated so if you’re sitting next to it you’ll have the kitchen grease smells. (Not that the food was greasy, but just that classic food-cooking-in-oil smell from big kitchens) -Some of the dishes were slightly over-salted. Overall it was a great experience and the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion such as birthday or anniversary.

Der Empfang war nett, das Ambiente ist super und das Konzept an sich finde ich persönlich sehr gelungen. Ein 5 Gänge Menü mit Getränken für den Preis ist toll aber das Essen hat überhaupt nicht überzeugt. Die Menge war mehr als ausreichend aber es hat in jedem Gericht an Geschmack und Kreativität gefehlt. Ich würde sogar soweit gehen, dass nicht Mal die basics erfüllt waren z.B. eine Pasta mit Meeresfrüchten an der kein Knoblauch ist, ein Stück Lachs an dem die Haut nicht knusprig ist und einem Dessert was ein Catering Service mindestens genauso gut hinbekommt. Wenn ich zu einem 5 Gänge Essen gehen auch in der niedrigsten Preisklasse möchte ich kulinarisch überrascht werden und keine Standard Gerichte bekommen welche ich mir ohne Aufwand zu Hause selber kochen kann. Der Focus sollte auf dem Geschmack und der Qualität der Zutaten liegen und das wurde hier einfach nicht erfüllt.

Unfortunately after reading all these great reviews i must admit that i am more than disappointed. The food was at best lukewarm when served. Even the fish was not cooked through. Food in general had very neutral taste. No spices whatsoever.. Service staff was very attentive and friendly. Wine was good

Meine Frau und ich haben hier zu Mittag gegessen. Die kleine, feine Mittagskarte war sehr interessant und das Essen sehr lecker. Vor allem die günstigen Getränkepreise fand ich sehr sympathisch. Ein Liter Wasser für 1,80 Euro und ein Espresso für 1,00 Euro, das habe ich wirklich noch nirgendwo anders gesehen.

Superfreundliches Personal, sehr nettes entspanntes Ambiente. Das Essen war leider eine große Enttäuschung. Wir hatten zum Lunch als Hauptgang drei x Involtino, insofern können wir die Gerichte auch miteinander vergleichen und es ging nicht nur eine Zubereitung daneben. Bei allen drei Gerichten war das Fleisch entweder zäh oder noch roh. Ein Gast hat so gut wie gar nichts gegessen. Da hätte man üblicherweise auch nur zwei Gerichte berechnet und nicht drei oder zumindest den Kaffee spendiert. Schade, das war leider nichts.

This was our second time we had dinner here. First time was in 2013. It's a hidden gem. We really like this place. No nonsens good food, great vibe and friendly service.

Heute habe ich erstmalig die "Alte Wäscherei" besucht und bin positiv überrascht worden. Ein italienisches Restaurant mit einer kleinen Menükarte, die wöchentlich wechselt. Es wird Lunch und Dinner angeboten. Ich wählte zum Lunch ein Drei-Gang-Menü mit Karottencremesuppe, selbstgemachten Nudeln mit Schwertfisch und Mascapone zum Dessert. Alles war schmackhaft und die Portionen ausreichend. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, auch die Getränkepreise sind o.k. - Besonders überzeugt natürlich das Ambiente dieses alten Industriebaus. Also: Auf in den zweiten Hof.

Vi hade höga förväntningar innan vi kom dit med tanke på det ganska höga priset och att det var en omständlig procedur med bokningen, att man skulle garantera bokningen med kreditkort och även bekräfta sin ankomst några dagar innan. Vi trodde därför det skulle vara något utöver det vanliga med välsmakande mat, men maten var medioker och inte särskilt god. Fetasallad till antipasti som var helt ok, men inget speciellt. Därefter brushetta som var tråkig. Därefter pasta med en enkel tomatsås som inte smakade så mycket. Sedan en torr och smaklös fläskfilé, som vi fick vänta väldigt länge på. Vi som åt vegetariskt fick en gratinerad zucchini och fyllningen var oätlig, vi vet inte vad det var, en brun sörja med någon slags ost på. Efterrätten var någon slags pannacotta som var helt ok. Vinet som man fick till maten smakade som husets allra billigaste vin. Inredningen är charmig och personalen trevlig och glad men det väger inte upp mot maten. I samma område åt vi på andra restauranger med fantastisk mat och som ändå var betydligt billigare.

We've visited this place twice so far and both times it's been a great experience. We get the set menu which is about €54 per person and consists of 4 courses: 2 starters, a pasta, a meat/fish dish and a dessert. 2 drinks per person are also included in the price. The food is interesting and tasty. Some of the dishes are more hits than others, but the overall experience is really nice. The atmosphere is lovely, nicely decorated and the staff are super friendly and welcoming! Make sure to reserve :)

Tolle Location mit einem super Gastronomiekonzept! Tolle , lockere Atmosphäre……. aber bei dem Essen war bei unserem Besuch (am 08.06.) absolut noch Luft nach oben! Das Pasta-Zwischengericht war trocken und lauwarm. Ossobuco als Hauptgericht war eine einzige Enttäuschung und hatte mit dem italienischen Original nichts zu tun (Fleisch zäh / simple Tomatensauce). Der Abend war kurzweilig, aber kulinarisch leider enttäuschend!

Zum Geburtstag haben mich meine Freunde hier in dieses Restaurant entführt, da uns alle die kulinarik vereint. Ich muss sagen es war ein Volltreffer. Dieses Restaurant findet man nicht einfach, sondern ich glaube man geht gezielt hier her, da es auf dem zweiten Hinterhof angesiedelt ist. Der Empfang war unheimlich herzlich und freundlich. Von Anfang an hat man das Gefühl, man kehrt bei Freunden ein. Das Essen war vom ersten bis zum letzten Gang ein Genuss. Die offene Küche zeigt, dass hier nicht nur sauber gearbeitet, sondern auch bei der Reinigung sehr auf Sauberkeit geachtet wird. Das Restaurant selbst ist super eingerichtet und spielt mir seiner Vergangenheit als Wäscherei. Selbst als das Restaurant voll war, gab es keine Anzeichen für Stress. Man sieht wie eingespielt dieses Team ist. Ich kann mich nur auf diesem Wege für den wirklich tollen Abend bedanken. P.S. Das Focaccia welches zum Essen gereicht wird, ist ein Traum.

Ein absolut empfehlenswertes italienisches Restaurant. Das Ambiente ist einfach toll. Es gibt nur ein Menü, welches aus mehreren Gängen besteht. Der Wein passt sehr gut zu den Kreationen aus der Küche und ein echtes Highlight ist der Degestiv. Dieser wird klassisch italienisch im Stehen an der Bar eingenommen.

Mia moglie ed io abbiamo festeggiato il nostro matrimonio. In tutto eravamo 38 persone tra tedeschi ed italiani. Tutti sono rimasti contenti, sia per l'ambiente ma soprattutto per la grande cucina e la gentilezza di tutto il Team! Siamo veramente contenti di aver potuto celebrare il nostro grande giorno alla Lavanderia Vecchia. E di sicuro tornerò con mia moglie per passare una serata magica. Grazie di cuore a tutto il Team.

We had a fantastic mystical evening in this old laundrette. The staff was incredibly nice and funny. Mario such a joker feel like I have known him since my child hood. After all the delicious five dishes they called us over to the bar for some lovely espresso and limoncello. 100% recommend

Sehr gutes Essen. Ein kreativer Mix aus Tradition und moderner Küche. Das Lokal ist eine ehemalige Wäscherei und darum mit viel Liebe zum Detail mit Utensilien des Waschens aus der Vergangenheit dekoriert. Abends gibt es ein Menü mit mehreren Gängen. Ich war dort schon mehrfach zum Abendessen und lade auch gern Freunde dorthin ein.
