Highly recommended Spanish restaurant, with a very cozy atmosphere and perfect food. Highly recommended. Anyone visiting a restaurant in Hattingen must stop here. The service was very courteous, including by extremely friendly staff. This rounded off the visit 100%. Please bring more of this. Highly recommended.

Another great meal at short notice! We called quickly and luckily got a table for 1.5 hours almost immediately! Unfortunately, we haven't been able to eat with you for a while due to our new baby. Luckily, we were able to do it today after all. The food and service are, as usual, first-class! Every dish was and still is delicious! The wait staff are all friendly, courteous, cheerful, and extremely competent. We'll be back as soon as possible!

My meal was good; I had a salad and bread with aioli. My friend's meal arrived wrong, and then only after we asked twice. We also only got our drinks after asking several times. I had almost finished my meal before the drinks and the second meal arrived. We had to pay inside because no one else came to our table. I wouldn't go here again.

The tapas are excellent and a taste experience. The accompanying wine is highly recommended. The service was very friendly, but communication wasn't always perfect. The location in Hattingen isn't quite as nice, but the seating is very comfortable.

Very good and authentic Spanish tapas. Prices are still reasonable, as are the wait times. If Hattingen were closer to Cologne, I would definitely eat there more often.

We visited Las Olas on Saturday evening on the recommendation of friends. The three dishes we each chose arrived promptly and were very tasty. Nothing to complain about. But when I then wanted crema catalana, the evening, which had been going well up until then, took a serious hit. After 20 minutes without any dessert cream, I asked a waiter where the dessert was?! This went on for another 10 minutes without a result. After a total of 35 minutes, I got up and asked the waiter again about dessert. Is it being prepared immediately?! After another 5 minutes, it was finally on the table. And I had already had the coffee and cake 😡. The dessert was, to be fair, on the house with an apology. Then I asked for the bill. Again, time passed and the bill didn't arrive... The next table was also disgruntled because of the long wait. My conclusion: the food was very good, but the surroundings, like the service, are also important. And that was absolutely not right on our first evening here, and it ruined my evening. Therefore, there won't be a second visit. The first impression was too disappointing and annoying. Since I had already been to another Spanish restaurant in Hattingen some time ago, I was able to make direct comparisons and would rather book a table at the competitor.

Unfortunately, everything was bland and tasteless. Even though we were the first to arrive, we had to wait almost an hour for our tapas. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio here was not right!

Four of us went there for dinner today, July 20th. Unfortunately, a lot of things went wrong, starting with the reservation, where they wrote down the wrong name even though I spelled it correctly. Then they wrote down four people plus a dog, even though we don't have one. We ordered tapas, and the waitress (yes, she was new and yes, she still has to learn this, which I understand) couldn't even tell us whether the dishes we were served were the ones we ordered individually or from the menu. But he didn't refer us to a colleague, but left us alone at the table with those words. It's a shame, because the food was delicious, but the service wasn't so good at times.

If you want to enjoy great Spanish food with high quality and attentive staff, this is the right place

Good food, Above-average prices.

The menu offers a large selection of tapas, as well as main courses like steaks... we were looking forward to tapas, as we're used to them from Spain. Small bites that you can put together yourself for a reasonable price. That was the first disappointment. Four tapas easily cost the price of a main course, which was still bearable given the reasonable portion sizes. However, they were served like a four-course meal in Alsace, over a period of 70 minutes. Sorry, that's not possible, and then you have to run around the dining room with your food looking for help, wondering who ordered what. You shouldn't be thirsty either; after asking twice, a drink only arrived after 30 minutes. Another visit is out of the question.

This restaurant is worth to visit. We had a great meal and wine. The staff was very nice, professional and could speak English. The place itself has a really pleasant atmosphere. Would I ever go to Hatting I would definitely stop here.

I don't even know where to begin. I'm more than disappointed. We reserved a table for 8 p.m. today. There were four of us and we ordered tapas. First of all, we waited a really long time for drinks to arrive. The food took even longer. Then six things were forgotten. That was supposed to come later. At 9:40 p.m. two things were still missing. We reported this again. Then the waitress came to us, apologized and said the kitchen was closed and she was sorry! What is that? I ordered three things! I only got two. I was still hungry and she told me the kitchen was closed? Even though I ordered the food shortly after 8 p.m.? That's not right! And because they're so nice, she said she would take it off our bill 😂. Then I didn't know what else to say. Thanks for that? I order something that doesn't arrive and then she kindly takes it out. No concessions or discounts or anything else! So never again!

Good selection of delicious tapas. The service was friendly, but unfortunately a bit uncoordinated at times, so tapas were missing. So you have to keep track of what you have ordered and what you get. The shop has tight seating and it gets quite loud. Reservation recommended

The service was courteous. We only had tapas: The food was so-so. The octopus was burned. A lot of it wasn't very tasteful. What bothered us the most was that the tapas came to the table step by step over a very long period of time (>1 hour). The red wine was very good though! 😀 We paid €165 for 4 people.

We ordered tapas for 2 people. Some dishes were too oily for me personally and I thought there was too little overall. I was expecting everything to be served at once but instead the food was brought in 3 courses.

We were there for the menu carousel and after three hours we only received the first two courses! The drinks were only refilled upon request and in very small quantities. We left after three and a half hours, still hungry and very upset. But even then, no one made an effort to discuss the circumstances with us. Therefore - never again!!!!

I can recommend it with a clear conscience. Very cozy, 😋 delicious. Top rating from me.

We'd love to come back. No matter what day of the week, no matter what time. The restaurant is always busy and that simply speaks for top quality. Everyone is super nice and accommodating, the food is served hot and is super tasty. The map is very diverse. It's best to reserve a table.

The food was great. Originally we wanted to go to a table in the restaurant. Unfortunately someone got sick so we picked up the food, which was very spontaneous (really, we called half an hour in advance and everything worked out). The food was great. It tasted so good, I'll be dreaming about it for a long time. We got a specialist to pick it up locally. The staff were all super nice too! We'll definitely go there again.

Large selection of different tapas and main courses, the salads are also really good. Whether meat, fish or vegetarian, everyone gets their money's worth and wine lovers are also in good hands. The service is quite quick with the drinks, the food naturally takes a while - but it's worth it. In the summer you can sit outside wonderfully, but it is also very cozy inside.

Were there for the second time, this time in the bodega opposite. This was probably rented to cope with the rush, which is absolutely right 😁. Since we eat tapas very often and have been able to enjoy the original very often in Spain, we can distinguish the good ones from the not so good ones. And here they are very good. My wife and I had a main course of grilled plates and lamb skewers, received after 90 minutes. The meat was dry and poured over the fried potatoes mojo.

Paying 8.50 euros for 100 grams of spinach leaves, 3 pine nuts, 5 garlic cloves and 10 grams of paprika is the bottom of the barrel. In return you get a complete meal. Unfortunately it doesn't work at all. Other tapas are so tiny that it's outrageous to even use a plate for them. Disappointed 😞

We had a nice lunch. It was quite crowded. Because of this, ordering drinks was a bit lengthy. But it didn't do any harm. Food was very good!

Very crowded, little space between tables, therefore noisy. Not a relaxed environment. Service overwhelmed. Waited over 30 minutes for the first drink. The food also came very slowly. Everything tasted good and flawless. Fewer guests in the same space could solve the problem. Then the guests will come back.

Still the best Spaniard in Hattingen. Always well attended and there are reasons for that. All dishes are seasoned in a very balanced way and not too spicy. The sangria is excellent. Attentive service.

Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is no longer right. The prices are high and the portions are small. For 2 people just under 100 euros and just got enough. The "big" men's restroom was permanently closed. That doesn't actually work at all.
