Lara Café-Restaurant in München

Unfortunately, the service was poor. I ordered two biryani meals. The rice was extremely cold, and they only gave me a tiny piece of meat that was barely visible in the dish. There were no side dishes, no salad, and no sauce except for a very spicy sauce. They were aware that there were children present, and there were no spoons or napkins.

I ordered shawarma and sausage. The sausages looked like they were made more than three days ago, stale and very hard, hardly edible. The shawarma looked old, and the meat was black and tasted awful. Is this what a plate looks like for 13 euros?!

Looking for kibbeh? Found kibbeh. Good shop, delicious food, and lovely people.

The Syrian food tastes very good and authentic, just a bit too salty. The soup would be nicer if it were served in a bowl instead of eating it straight from the pot—it would make the experience more pleasant. The staff is very friendly and attentive, which rounds off the overall positive experience. I'd be happy to come back!

What impressed me most, however, is the courtesy and professionalism of the staff. You are treated with respect; the team is friendly, attentive, yet unobtrusive – you never feel rushed or patronized. Especially in times when friendly service is no longer a given, this polite, courteous approach is very positive. You can also tell that the staff is truly proud of the restaurant and enjoys their work, without it seeming artificial. Everything feels very authentic and pleasant. For me, it's a place where you are completely satisfied, both culinary and human. I highly recommend it to anyone who values ​​good food and respectful service.

The food is amazing! We tried the Fattoush — it was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. As for the shawarma, it's honestly one of the tastiest we've ever had. Highly recommended!

Since I came to Germany a year ago, I haven't eaten food as delicious or tasty as this. Praise be to God, the food is amazing and the guys there are like honey. The food is all delicious, but I advise you to try the lamb's head fatteh, it's amazing.

Very friendly host and a large selection for such a relatively small restaurant. You have to try the lamb shank with rice (as of July 2025, price €17.90). I could sit down, it's so delicious 😋😋😋

A truly great Syrian restaurant! The oriental food is incredibly delicious, especially the Jordanian Mansaf and Tabbouleh full of authentic flavor. To top it off, they even offer complimentary tea. Wonderful hospitality and a must-visit for lovers of Middle Eastern cuisine!

These are the best Arab Restaurants in Deutschland. It can be empty. This machine is warm every day. The food was very good. We tried the cooking and the crumbs. The cooking was very good. The staff were very polite and respectful. The food took less than 5 minutes and was ready. The cleanliness was top. I advise everyone who comes to Munich to come and eat at Lara Restaurant.

I heard about this place and since its next to my work place I was excited to try it after work. When i arrived there was a group of vulgar people sitting on one of the tables (+6 people) and they were recording voice tapes and videos very loudly and creating disturbance. As no rules were broken I can see how the restaurant can allow it. However, the atmosphere with that group of vandals was dreadful. When the food arrived, it was not as good as i hoped. In short, i ate what i could, packed the remainder, paid and left as soon as possible. Wasnt enjoyable experience.

They deserve zero stars I was in this restaurant today and I have to say I wasn't really impressed. The food wasn't as tasty as expected and it was so expensive and the service wasn't particularly friendly either. It was a shame that my drink wasn't taken back even though it wasn't even open. The cashier said he couldn't change it because he had already entered it. Overall, I unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant. The food and service did not meet my expectations. It's better to spend your money somewhere else. I hope my experience helps others with their decision. Maybe the restaurant should rethink its operations to avoid such problems in the future.

The first and last visit, ambience in the restaurant is so bad, the service is like the employees are forced to come to work. The food was bad, after eating I got flatulence and nausea because apparently the hygiene is very good. I will not recommend the restaurant to anyone.

Wollten unbedingt Mal wieder Mansaf essen nach unserem Jordanien Urlaub.Es war gut auch wenn wir es für etwas zu teuer halten.Sauberkeit so lala am Tisch klebte leider alles.Getranke muss man aus der Flasche trinken ,ist halt ein Imbiss und nicht wie wir erwartet hatten ein Restaurant.
