Langfeldsmühle in Babenhausen

As part of a multi-day e-bike tour, we visited the Langfeldsmühle in May 2025. Here, we were able to easily charge our bikes' batteries. (We had the charger with us). We also enjoyed a delicious meal. The menu is extensive and should have something for everyone. There are several seasonal specialties here... In May, we had asparagus dishes... It's noteworthy that, in addition to the restaurant, guests are offered two outdoor areas. ...a beer garden surrounded by greenery... and the option to sit in the courtyard of the historic property. The courtyard is very tastefully decorated with various agricultural items from ancient times. We thank you for your hospitality and will definitely return.

The food was truly delicious. The service was super friendly and attentive. We'll be back.

After a few months there was a follow-up visit from us as a duo: -VERY friendly and attentive service, -The chosen meal of rump steak and onion schnitzel was again perfect, and in our opinion it was a good value for money -very nice to sit in the inner courtyard of the Hofreite. There is NOTHING that speaks against another future visit. Unfortunately, the noise in the winter garden was relatively high. Despite the high number of guests, our food came relatively quickly and the cooked cheese schnitzel fully met our expectations. The side salad was also really tasty. The staff were really bustling around, but still managed to keep an eye on all the tables. There are a few parking spaces in front of the mill, which were unfortunately all occupied when we visited. From our side there is nothing that speaks against coming back again.

I ate my first asparagus there this year, there were plenty of asparagus spears, cooked just right with cooked ham and at a moderate price. Sitting nicely with a very nice atmosphere. My husband had wild goulash, which was also great

We have been there many times now and are again completely satisfied. You can sit nicely in the courtyard of the old mill, or inside in the cozy guest area. You are well looked after and get great food. All selected dishes tasted good and the portions were more than sufficient. That's how it should be.

The onion schnitzel was not onion schnitzel But a schnitzel with onion sauce. The plastic water bottle that was served was completely unprofessional. But I will go there again 👍 Food is really very good. The ambience is also really nice and the service is also top👍👍👍

When you walk through the door it's like stepping into an oyster. Inconspicuous on the outside and a dream on the inside. A very good and personal service with humor and pep. I think it's good that you can order salad and everything individually. So you can adjust it to your desired portion. The quantity is plentiful and simply delicious. I recently celebrated my birthday here. We felt very comfortable in the cozy atmosphere of the Christmas-themed conservatory. The extremely friendly and attentive staff served us delicious food and drinks. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for helping make my celebration so special.

We passed the mill around 3:30 p.m. in the afternoon and decided to stop by. Despite 3 dogs, we were able to sit at a quiet table inside. We had pepper and boiled cheese schnitzel. Very, very tasty 😋 The service is really attentive. Another recommendation is the homemade lemonade - very tasty and not very sweet. The only drawback: only cash payment. But we were able to live with it and would love to come back ❤️

Two of us had dinner here last night. The service was on point and super friendly! The schnitzels were very good and are recommended. We were here on a Wednesday around 3:30 p.m. when the weather was great. All seats in the beer garden and courtyard were occupied. All seats inside were free. There was room for us here. We ordered tarte flambée for 9 euros each. The food was excellent as always. We liked it.

We sat outside by the water. Really nice and pleasant. The employees were super nice and friendly and were up for a few jokes. The food was really good. I had a burger. The meat was so juicy and delicious. I can really only recommend it. At a late hour you should perhaps take insect protection like autan with you because of the adjacent stream and a few mosquitoes. Really recommended. We'd love to come back.

The spare ribs were perfectly tender and rich in flavor, and the tiramisu for dessert was to die for – so creamy and just the right touch of espresso. A great dining experience that I will surely repeat. Clear recommendation!

Wir waren verg. Samstag Abend zu fünft mit vorheriger Reservierung um 18:00 Uhr dort und waren voll zufrieden. Ich habe mir vor meiner Bewertung mal ganz bewusst die bislang schlechten Rezensionen durchgelesen und wir kommen zu einem völlig anderen Ergebnis als zum Beispiel diejenigen, die glauben am Samstagabend einen Platz ohne Reservierung zu bekommen (wo lebt ihr denn!) oder derjenige, der offenbar nicht fähig war alleine die Toilette zu finden. Schon ärgerlich was man sich als Inhaber von unqualifizierten Gästen so alles gefallen lassen muss. Aber egal, nun wieder zum Thema: Reservierung und Platz 1A, dass qualitativ gute Essen (Knödel, Steak, 2x Schnitzel, Haxe) kam fast zu schnell und - wie es sich gehört - zeitgleich. Preise nicht günstig, aber dennoch noch angemessen, dafür bekommt man auch was, und genau deshalb geht man doch auch auswärts essen, oder!? Ach so ja, bis zur Toilette besteht keine Gefahr sich in die Hose zu machen, außerdem sind sie modern und sauber. Parkplätze: Ohne Ende. Gut, wer allerdings gerne bis an den Tisch fahren möchte, dass geht leider nicht! Und zu guter Letzt: Die Bedienung HILFIGER tat was er versprach, war äußerst aufmerksam - sorry, dass wir nicht mehr trinken konnten - und glänzte mit (fast) rheinischem Humor. Sehr schöne Atmosphäre, die Schnitzel köstlich aus der Pfanne. Schade fand ich, dass die Wedges ein Fertigprodukt waren und die Vegetarier ist die Auswahl äußerst klein, was mich persönlich jetzt nicht stört aber in unserem Bekanntenkreis auf jeden Fall schwierig ist.

Fast alles gut! Schmackhaftes Essen, gute Portionen, Gutes Ambiente, schnelle und freundliche Bedienung. Aber 4,70 Euro für das 0,4 Liter Pilsbier ist überteuert, deshalb nur 4 Sterne.

Sehr netter Kellner bei uns. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt nicht: eher durchschnittliches Essen plus eher kleine Portionen, d.h. insgesamt zu teuer (im Vergleich zu einem Top Restaurant in Babenhausen was mit Z anfängt). Die Preise für die Nachttische sind zu hoch, fast so teuer wie eine komplette Mahlzeit. Deswegen haben wir keinen bestellt. Ansonsten läuft der Haushund rum und geht zu jedem Tisch zum schnüffeln, was nicht jeder gerne hat. Kaum vegetarische Gerichte.

Gute Speise und Getränkeauswahl, div. Kuchen, netter Service. Gut besucht, Reservierung zu empfehlen.

Ein sehr schönes Lokal. Sehr schönes Ambiente und viel schönes altes Deco mit viel Charme. Ein schöner Innenhof .Wir hatten einen Rollifahrer dabei .Also die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich gestaltet .Und sehr lecker 😋 ich hatte Rösti mit Lachs. Einfach nur lecker 😋 wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hier sind 5 Sterne eindeutig Zuwenig.. wir sind heute bei unserem Spaziergang vom Regen überrascht hier gestrandet und waren vom ersten Moment begeistert. Diese alte Mühle ist wunderschön und es gibt zwei Außenbereiche zum sitzen als auch die urgemütliche Gaststube. Der Service ist super nett und auf Zack und wir haben trotz vollem Haus und übertaschendem Regen noch ein gemütliches Plätzchen bekommen. Die Bedienung hat uns vom ersten Moment das Gefühl gegeben willkommen zu sein obwohl echt viel los war. Das Essen war fix auf dem Tisch und lecker... Die hausgemachte Grapefruitlimonade yammy... Wir sind durchweg begeistert. Wir durften uns den tollen Saal anschauen, den man für kleines Geld für allerlei Festlichkeiten mieten kann und waren ganz sicher nicht das letzte Mal hier. Toll das es noch solche Lokale gibt. Künftig reservieren wir auf jeden Fall vorzeitig. Vielen Dank für den wirklich gemütlichen und lustigen Aufenthalt in der wunderschönen Langfeldsmühle...

Wir waren am Sonntag zur Mittagszeit gemeinsam mit Freunden Gäste in der gut besuchten "Langfeldsmühle". Es ist ein recht schönes historisches Anwesen mit einer ansehnlichen geschlossenen Hofreite. So richtig gemütliche Biergarten-Atmosphäre kommt für mich persönlich, aber weder unter den Nussbäumen, noch im Hof auf. Das "Schnitzel" und der "Beilagensalat" haben absolut anständig geschmeckt. Die "Kartoffelecken" und der recht schwere "Kochkäse" waren dagegen nichts besonderes. Der "Eiswagen" hat bei den Kinder natütlich für Begeisterungsstürme gesorgt und die Sorten "Zitrone" und "Schokolade" waren auch ganz gut.

Extrem schnell und freundlich, es waren zuviel Steckmücken im Biergarten,wo je keiner was dran ändern kann, aber das hat mich nur zu 4 Sternen animiert
