Food that inspires. There are no Michelin-star decorators at work here, but the food is truly excellent. There's no frills here, just honest dishes that are simply unbelievably delicious.

We were in an area that led through the courtyard. The atmosphere reminded me of a covered campsite; the cleanliness left much to be desired. There was no comfort at all. The service was very difficult for visitors to choose. The food was not good, and the prices were far too high.

First time ordering from there and last time. Where do I begin? The delivery time was 7 p.m., and it arrived by 6 p.m. Luckily, I got home. The fries were cold, even though the restaurant was a maximum of 400 meters away. The bruchetta was cold, soggy, and poorly prepared. Five loaves of bread were packed in, and from what looked like a big spoonful had just been slapped over it. It looked like vomit.

We had a great meal here; the plates looked beautifully presented, and special requests were accommodated. There's plenty of parking just a few minutes' walk away, along the city wall.

I had to wait over an hour for it to be delivered. There were onions in the salad, even though I had requested no onions. The tomato soup also included onions, other vegetables, and rice, but this wasn't stated on the menu. I don't like rice, and I didn't like the other vegetables either; it just didn't taste like a typical tomato soup. The schnitzel was mostly dry; in other words, the food wasn't worth the money, so I threw it away. The sauce wasn't that great either. I tried calling and wanted to speak to someone, but no one answered. I won't be ordering food from there again.

We love eating here and eat there often. The food is simply excellent. I highly recommend the cheeseburger ;) I love the beer in a stein, and the food is served quickly. Plus, the staff is friendly. They offer everything you need for a great evening.

We ordered food from Roter Hahn in the evening. The delivery arrived on time and exactly at the specified time – that worked out well. I ordered the pljeskavica. Unfortunately, there was hardly any feta cheese in it, even though it was supposed to be filled with it. The rice was also completely missing. The fries were unfortunately a bit soft and not warm enough. The onions were cut into large rings, making them difficult to eat. Overall, the service was okay, but the food itself still leaves room for improvement.

Went here for lunch on Easter Monday. 4 different meals e.g. hamburger, penne, cream schnitzel or fish, all dishes tasted good, right size with brisk and fast service. I just have to recommend it!!!

The shop is pretty old-fashioned, the prices are not appropriate, I imagine a grill plate to be different. Everyone should try it and decide for themselves. You used to get a pancake with ice cream for free, but now you can get it for 9.50 euros

Ate on site with seven of us. First of all we had to wait a long time for food. The two meat dishes were not edible: Cevapcici was bacony and tasteless, rump steak was tough and the new one was totally raw. Mistakes were also made when ordering and the cola was lukewarm and non-carbonated/stale. We're not coming anymore...

Nicely located in the old town, with outdoor seating. Fast, good service, large selection of different food and drinks. The food was really, really good and was brought to the table relatively quickly. All in all a nice atmosphere.

First time and last time. It's a shame that I had it delivered and wasn't there directly. Or maybe it's better like this. Otherwise it would have been different. Ordered four. One pizza, one Jägerschnitzel and two chicken burgers. The Jägerschnitzel had fries and salad. Salad was forgotten. There was only half a slice of orange and a pepper and five leaves of arugula. That was a side salad. Fries were so mushy to burger that you could just crumble them and crush them. More mush inside so crispy fries. The lettuce on the burger was like it had been wilting for 10 weeks. Including hair inside. It was all so bad. Four of us have never eaten something so bad in our lives. And that should cost €53. An impudence. Also arrived 20 minutes late. I won't let it go. I'll definitely call there tomorrow.

My meal was beef strips with lots of peppers and onions... The beef was tough... Had to cut the meat very small to get it small... I asked if I could get the Balkan plate with chicken instead of turkey... He didn't know and didn't make any attempt to ask the boss... What else bothered me... Didn't get an invoice...

Wir waren gestern Abend zu Abendessen dort mit 10 Personen und alle sehr unzufrieden Fleisch war nicht druch dann Pommes kalt , Latte Macchito kalt, vom Nachtisch der Teig in der Mitte noch flüssig und alles sehr teuer.

Good average. You immediately feel in good hands here. Staff is unobtrusive, but still very attentive. My food was okay and the price was absolutely acceptable. For my taste, the last bit of spice was missing, but that's my own opinion. I can absolutely recommend it.

6 of us had lunch today. There wasn't much going on. The service was quick and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, it wasn't until we got home that we noticed that the salad hadn't been brought to two of us. They had cordon bleu and cream schnitzel. Unfortunately it didn't come with salad according to the menu, so a star deduction because that shouldn't happen with such low occupancy. It's also a shame that the homepage itself doesn't offer any contact options via email for feedback or reservations.

Schönes Restaurant mit sehr leckeren Speisen und großen Portionen. Für Familienveranstaltungen kann das Obergeschoss gebucht werden. Es gibt sogar Beamer und Leinwand für Fotopräsentationen. Sehr gelungene Location für Feiern aller Art. Es gab sogar die Möglichkeit eine kleinere Karte mit einem eingeschränkten Angebot auszusuchen.

Super lecker, sehr zu empfehlen. Waren mit einer Gruppe von 50 Leuten da. Steaks fabelhaft, Hamburger sogar noch besser als in speziellen Burgerläden. Auch Die Balkanplatte ist sagenhaft. Top!!!

Super Essen und ein netter Service. Genau so muss es sein

Ich hatte die Balkan-Platte... Geschmacklich deutlich schlechter als ich es in der Vergangenheit kennengelernt hatte. Schwach gewürzt, etwas in Öl gebadet. Bezüglich des Hackfleisch gefüllt mit Schafskäse war das Fleisch knorpelig. Somit war ich relativ schnell satt! Service absolut freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gemütlich, sauber, einladend. Dies ist vorerst mein letzter Besuch... Der zusätzlich bestellte Reis ging aufs Haus.

Bedienungen super Nett, Essen gut und die Auswahl ist groß.

Super leckeres Essen. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen und ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Der überdachte Biergarten ist einfach sehr schön designed und strahlt mit der angrenzenden Bar viel Gemütlichkeit aus.Macht einfach Freude, dort lecker essen zu gehen. Und die Preise sind absolut angemessen.

Immer wieder lecker und immer wieder für eine positive Überraschung offen! Bin froh dass es hier in Babenhausen noch gutes Essen und freundlichen Service gibt. Ein Lob an das Team Roter Hahn.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Ambiente und die Bedienung einfach suppi ..das Essen ist auch richtig lecker es ist auf jeden fall ein besuch werd .

das Lokal ist nett eingerichtet, gerade auch der überdachte Aussenbereich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam. Allerdings fand ich das Essen nicht lecker. Die Balkan- Platte sah zwar gut aus, aber sowohl das Fleisch der Cevapcici als auch des Pleskjavica war sehr knorpelig und, wie auch der Spiess, relativ fad. Wegen des Ambiente und des Personals testen wir es noch einmal.

Wir haben abends draußen gesessen, wurden aufmerksam bedient und als es kühl wurde durfte ich mir eine Decke nehmen. Da ich das Restaurant noch nicht kannte, wurde ich herumgeführt. Alle Speisen waren sehr lecker.

Ich bewerte eine Bestellung.. Wir hatten Burrito con pollo und einen cheese burger mit Pommes. Angefangen damit dass der burrito komplett mit guacamole überzogen war obwohl guacamole nicht dabei stand war es geschmacklich einfach kein burrito und für mich nicht genießbar. Die Pommes waren kalt und schmeckten einfach nicht gut. Der Burger war okay. Wir hatten vor einigen Monaten schon einmal etwas anderes dort bestellt, was uns ebenfalls nicht geschmeckt hat. Aufgrund von zahlreicher empfehlungen haben wir es noch einmal probiert. Vielleicht ist das Essen vor Ort besser. Wir würden aber nicht noch mal bestellen. Der Service war gut und freundlich.

Die Portionen werden leider immer kleiner und die Preise immer höher. Das Hackfleisch schmeckte etwas gummiartig. Eigentlich würde ich dafür nur 2-3 Sterne vergeben, da mein Hund aber unaufgefordert einen Wassernapf bekam und es zum Abschluss noch einen Schnaps auf Haus gab, kann ich die 5 Sterne vertreten.

Sehr schöner Innenhof mit schließbarem Dach und 2 großen Kaminen. Das essen schmeckt sehr gut, ist preislich in Ordnung und bietet außerordentliche Speisen, die man sonst in Babenhausen nicht findet. Die Bedienung ist äußerst freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam.was man besonders hervorheben muss sind die vielfältigen vegetarischen Speisen. Der vegetarische Burger schmeckt überragend gut.

Super Essen 😋 noch nie enttäuscht worden

Ich liebe es dort essen zu gehen.. Der Biergarten ist mit liebe hergerichtet..! Ich esse dort so gerne die Balkan Platte (,Foto)..

Es hat uns super geschmeckt. Personal sehr freundlich und kompetent. Portionen sind sehr reichlich.

Mitten in der Fußgängerzone gelegen mit bequemen Bänken und Tischen vor dem Gssthaus. Sehr freundliche und kompetente Bedienungen. Ein sehr grosses Angebot an Speisen, was mich immer etwas irritiert. Aber ich muss zugeben es war sehr gut zubereitet und sehr schön angerichtet. Wir hatten zwei verschiedene Gerichte und waren mit beiden mehr als zufrieden, frisch, gut gewürzt und sehr schnell gemacht. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.

Am späten Nachmittag nach kleinem Waldspaziergang spontan entschieden, im Roten Hahn zu essen. Wir saßen im Freien vor dem Lokal....schönes Plätzchen. Service war sehr flott, wir wurden nett begrüßt, Getränke kamen umgehend und die Burritos und Fajitas wurden auch schon nach kurzer Zeit serviert. Hat lecker geschmeckt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen wieder.

Mit acht Personen lecker lecker gespeist!!! Sehr große Auswahl von Pizza über Burger zu Salaten zu Mexikanisch und Deutsch!!! Alle acht waren mehr als zufrieden und wir sind schön satt. Personal ist aufmerksam und freundlich und es ging richtig schnell mit den acht verschiedenen Essen. Auch der Nachtisch Lava Cupcake war ein Traum. Wir kommen wieder, wenn wir in der Nähe sind, radeln hier nur vorbei und sind Happy mit unserer Wahl.

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne zurück. Sehr angenehm, sehr lecker, freundliche Personal- sie sind so aufmerksam.

Hatte zwei Pizzen bestellt, wovon die eine sehr gut gebacken (knusprig) sein sollte. Was kam, waren zwei nicht durchgebackene Pizzen. Die eine Pizza war von sehr gut gebacken meilenweit entfernt. So macht man sich keine neuen Kunden.

Sehr leckere Gerichte! Wir waren alle mit dem Essen zufrieden, egal ob es Fleisch, Fisch, Pizza oder Salat war. Portionen zum satt essen. Zudem schönes Sitzen draußen vor dem Lokal, mit schnellem und freundlichem Service. Unbedingt mal probieren!

Wie immer lecker essen super Portion sehr schön dekoriert und die Preise top. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und aufmerksam 6 Sterne

Bisher häufig bestellt, immer mehr als zufrieden. Eher begeistert Heute 2x Steak geordert und leider totaler Reinfall. Wie immer Wunsch "well done" ignoriert aber das wird meist durch das überragende Fleisch ausgeglichen. Heute jedoch nur zwei fettige Stücke mit sehnen durchzogen.. Finde ich echt sehr schade wenn knapp die Hälfte nicht genießbar ist echt enttäuscht für heute und teure Müllbeutelfüllung.
