Landhaus Gietmann in Alpen

We celebrated our wedding in the barn a few years ago. We also had our outdoor ceremony under the linden tree. It was a dream from beginning to end. Lovely hosts, delicious food, top-notch service! Completely carefree. The other events are always planned with great care and perfectly suited to the seasons and holidays. There's always so much love in the details, which you notice everywhere ❤️🍀

We went to the St. Martin's Day market and had kale there on November 9th, 2025. The atmosphere was nice. The kale was very bland (I think they forgot the salt). The St. Martin's Day pastries looked like lumps of dough thrown out of a tin. You could just barely make out the arms and legs. Very expensive. The server took a long time to calculate the bill. I probably won't go there again.

Halloween Discofox Party, October 31, 2021 The music was rather boring, the DJ seemed disinterested and made no effort to improve the situation. The drink prices were too high, and the atmosphere was simply lacking. The only positive was the dance floor, which was very pleasant. Perhaps it will be better next time. It was good that there was no cover charge.

We were invited to a party there! We were thrilled 😄. We were even allowed to stay overnight with our motorhome and enjoyed a hearty breakfast in the morning. We're self-sufficient and not a burden to anyone ;-))), which we don't want to do. Very quiet at night. We reserved breakfast in advance, of course. We'd be happy to come back 😊.

It was truly outstanding. We were there for breakfast and felt very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, fresh, and very, very delicious. The homemade raisin rolls alone were worth the visit. Highly recommended!

We celebrated a wedding there. It was absolutely beautiful! The outdoor area is spacious, and a large sandpit gives children plenty of room to run around. The service was fantastic; we were all served promptly, and there was everything our hearts could desire. 🥰 Many thanks to the entire team there.

A country café in a very quiet location, very well run, with homemade and truly delicious cakes, great staff, and very friendly service. There are many terraces around the main building. There are plenty of tables to enjoy and relax under the trees or in the sun. A lovely destination for coffee time! Reasonable prices! We really enjoyed our stay at Landhaus Gietmann!!! There's plenty of space for parking, and there's also a designated area for bicycles next to the entrance. Larger cycling groups aren't an issue for the team; advance notice is preferred. We visited Landhaus Gietmann by bike for a relaxing break!

All in all, great location, good breakfast buffet and really friendly staff.

We celebrated our wedding at Landhaus Gietmann last weekend. From the initial contact to picking up the decorations the day after the reception, everything was superbly organized! Our waitress Katrin did a fantastic job and always knew who wanted what. The food (cake and barbecue buffet) left nothing to be desired. We really enjoyed the ambiance in the gourmet garden. It was the perfect celebration for us!

Hello, we went to Gietman's for breakfast with four people in May. We were very surprised by the great selection and we really enjoyed it. We will be visiting this place more often in the future.

The house is a farmhouse for a different purpose with rooms for three groups of guests. The agricultural buildings have been tastefully converted. A children's playground is attached, as is a large parking lot.

Big compliments to the Gietmann team for the phenomenal New Year's Eve party 2024, food, drinks, service, music, Fireworks, delivery service, everything was perfect!!! We are looking forward to the next time

The grill buffet was very tasty and the quantity was more than sufficient. I would have liked a little more choice for dessert. The service was very satisfactory. Last night we went to dinner and were pleasantly surprised. It is an interesting alternative to food preparation. The iron hat is heated with fuel paste and you can use it to fry the pieces of meat yourself. We liked it very much.

Breakfast on the weekend? Reserve a table at Gietmann! In summer you can also enjoy being in the garden. Birthday coffee with fantastic cakes á la carte for 10 people? Reserve a table at Gietmann! Rustic wedding for 100 people? Reserve the barn at Gietmann’s! Bike tour with friends and thirst for coffee? Off to Gietmann! But be careful: sometimes the country café is closed!

Great atmosphere, but very expensive!!! A piece of cake 4.70 and a very thin coffee from the thermos 2.90 🤷🏼‍♂️🤔 It's a shame, but that was the first and last visit. ☝️

We became aware of the Landhaus Gietmann on the recommendation of our wedding photographers. We were completely convinced during the first consultation. Ms. Gietmann took a lot of time for us, showed us the location and was very friendly. At the meeting a few weeks before the wedding ceremony, she specifically addressed our wishes. Landhaus Gietmann demonstrated creativity and flexibility in relation to our request for a vegetarian - vegan BBQ as a wedding meal, even though this is not on the menu. What should we say? Not only we, our guests were absolutely thrilled with the food too! The location itself is a dream and the service staff is very attentive. A very nice location in the country. The food was good and the service was friendly even though there was a lot to do. The cakes are large and apparently very tasty because they are in high demand. The hamburger was good and completely sufficient.

We were there for the gourmet buffet "breakfast", very nice restaurant and ambience, great location. BUT...phew the breakfast buffet was rather mediocre...everything was fresh but a very small selection, unfortunately only baked rolls and the homemade bread was unfortunately totally dried out. There were only half eggs, cold ones, no freshly cooked warm or scrambled eggs. All in all rather disappointing AND then the price at the end was €21.90 per person, phew...unfortunately there has to be a lot more, which is a shame. We would like to try dinner again, which should be very good.

I, or rather we, were there in a small group and were thrilled. The location of the Landhaus Gietmann between the fields is simply great and gives you a lot of peace. The ambience was simply great for us, we sat in a beautifully overgrown courtyard when the outside temperature was 30 degrees. The food and drinks are simply great. We had the pleasure of listening to the host's live singing during our stay.

Beautifully located all-apartment complex with large parking lot. The three of us were there for breakfast and were positively impressed. Well-kept interiors, in summer a very nice outdoor area in various sections in the courtyard and around the building complex. Children's playground available. One downer: the price seems a bit excessive for breakfast in relation to the buffet offering. I know of significantly cheaper places in the area with at least an equivalent offer that is 40% or more cheaper. Anyone who can tolerate that is in good hands there!

Doesn't take the horses in the neighborhood into account with his fireworks display, which takes place almost every Saturday. A simple phone call with advance warning is probably too easy. An accident will probably have to happen on the farm before insight comes! Impossible!!!

I was at a company event at the Landhaus Gietmann in Alpen. It was a wonderful evening. All employees were very friendly, polite and accommodating. The food (grill buffet) was very varied, tasty and tasty. The atmosphere was very pleasant, bright and friendly. There was seating for every occasion. I would be happy to come back again privately.

When we were looking for a wedding location, a couple who were friends recommended Landhaus Gietmann to us. After the first consultation it was clear that this was our dream location! The location itself, but above all the friendly staff - and especially the owners Mr and Mrs Gietmann - immediately convinced us! From planning to the end of our day (and pickup the day after), everything went smoothly! We received excellent advice and the price was more than fair! We had our class reunion/year group meeting in the country house, as bad weather was forecast, we had to find a location at short notice. The owner made this possible for us, thank you for your flexibility. The service and food were great, I can do that Highly recommend restaurant. The prices were also completely reasonable.

Booked a room and ate there at a party. The rooms were very clean and tidy, ours was also large with a balcony. The food at the celebration was good and plentiful, and the service both day and evening was very friendly and attentive. The beer garden is also very nice. The only thing that was difficult was the parking garage, but that was because other guests parked inconsiderately or incorrectly. It's just not that big and it's difficult to park around it.

We celebrated our civil wedding with a champagne reception and BBQ at the Landhaus Gietmann and had an absolutely perfect day! The arrangements in advance worked really well, we were able to bring in all our wishes and our own ideas and always felt like we were in good hands. The wedding ceremony outside was beautifully prepared, everything was clean and tidy, the setup for eating was also perfectly prepared, the service was great, always on point and very attentive. The grill buffet was very tasty, all guests praised the food, it was fresh and tasted great! Clear recommendation from the bottom of my heart :-)!

We were invited here to a family celebration some time ago. The ambience and service was good. Unfortunately the food wasn't good. There was simply a lack of taste in everything, it seemed as if they had completely forgotten the spices. Maybe we were just unlucky now, but after this experience we won't be coming back again.

We had our wedding there. A wonderful day in itself. However, we were no longer allowed to take photos at the location and were pressured to leave because another wedding was taking place an hour later. The bill we received six months later was absolutely insane. The amount that was communicated to us at the beginning in a personal conversation was increased by €140 without consultation, etc. Unfortunately, we are not the only ones. I hear the same problems more and more often among our friends. Personally, we feel pretty unfairly treated and, to be honest, a bit ripped off. So I would stay away from it or get the amount to be paid in writing.

I went to this location for the first time (Thursday February 22nd, 2024) with a friend through a recommendation. Clean, cozy atmosphere. Consumption: Mega delicious range of cakes. Since the chef tried out new variations, we were allowed to taste them based on several samples. Everything made in-house… Good composition and taste, simply successful. I'm already looking forward to the first barbecue days/evenings on the cozy terrace. Conclusion: I can only recommend it to everyone

This time we were there for coffee in the afternoon, and once again everything we ordered was excellent. The homemade cakes were very tasty. The service is absolutely great, no wishes remain unfulfilled. We can only recommend this café and restaurant in the middle of nature to everyone. We'd love to come back.

Surprising location, we were on our way home from Düsseldorf and came across this restaurant via Google maps, we were pleasantly surprised by the location, hospitality, menu and quality of the food. This evening we were the only guests, I think it was due to the bad weather.

We had a rich breakfast with various sausages, cheese and fish. There was enough coffee and orange juice and waffles. Simply great, the manager of the house entertained us with live music. But the best thing, the young ladies who looked after us. A perfect morning. Many thanks again to the team at Landhaus Gietmann.

Zu aller erst... Das Essen hätte nicht besser sein können! Wir hatten ein Grill Buffet mit Schwein, Rind, Würstchen, Geflügel, salate, Brot und Soßen. Alles war heiß, durch und hatte einen sehr guten Geschmack. Zum Nachtisch gab es Herrencreme, Mandarinen Joguhrt, und schwarzwälderCreme. Auch am Nachtisch war absolut nichts auszusetzen!!!! Die Bedienungen waren extrem schnell und äußerst freundlich. Parkplätze gibt es genug. Wir kommen wieder! 😊

Immer einen Besuch wert, ob zum Tanzen, Feiern oder mit Freunden einen schönen Abend genießen. Frühstücken kann man auch sehr gut.

Wir haben heute ganz wunderbar im Ladhaus Gietmann gefrühstückt in sehr freundlicher, familiärer Atmosphäre.... vor ein paar Wochen haben wir dort auch nach einer Fahrtadtour den Wein und einen leckeren Flammkuchen genossen ... wir werden definitiv wiederkommen ... ein herrlicher Platz , ich liebe den Ausblick in den wunderschönen Garten mit den alten Bäumen ...
