A definite recommendation! The food was plentiful and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is fantastic. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, the bush pilot is just the thing!

I ate here twice, once as a couple and once as a group of ten. The food was generally very delicious, and the location and atmosphere in the park are lovely. Because I was satisfied with the first visit, I made a reservation for my birthday with a group. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. I had reserved well in advance, and yet we were seated so that there was a pillar between the two tables where my guests and I were sitting. I found this very annoying, as we weren't really sitting "together," which was exactly the opposite of what I wanted. I think they should have at least pointed this out so I could have considered it. The service also seemed a bit overwhelmed and not very attentive. We had to wait a while for our food, and one of our meals didn't arrive together with the others. We also had to repeatedly call for attention to ourselves, for example, if we wanted to order another drink. The service didn't often come on its own. There were also a few minor issues, such as missing salt and pepper on the table, so I had to get them myself from the bar for my guests. Given the delicious food and the beautiful location, I wouldn't advise against the restaurant, but I wouldn't return with a group, as I found the experience somewhat disappointing.

The service and ambiance were unbeatable. A very pleasantly small menu. A large, varied drinks list. We received superbly professional yet attentive service. Every wish was fulfilled.

The location of the Buschpilot in the green area of ​​Villa Berg is, of course, beautiful. Especially in summer, when you can sit upright on the large terrace. The food selection is excellent, including many vegetarian dishes. There's also a good selection of drinks. The prices for the food feel above average, but you get good, seasonal food. We visited twice. Our only criticism on the second visit was the service. It wasn't busy; we got our first drink, then our meal later. We would have all liked something to drink with our meal, so we had to actively ask for another order. Even afterward, we didn't feel like anyone was trying to sell us more drinks. What a shame.

If you want good food at fair prices surrounded by greenery, this is the place for you. Always worth a visit.

A cozy restaurant with a small but fine menu and a changing weekly special. The terrace invites you to sit outside in the greenery, where, in good weather, you can enjoy the truly excellent food. I'd be happy to come back if I ever find myself in the Kessel again.

Wonderful. The interior is very ambiance, and the terrace is as beautiful as a botanical garden. Very friendly service, excellent coffee from a small roastery, truly gourmet. Delicious cakes. Everything was very positive.

A cozy and spacious establishment. There are places both inside and on the terrace. Lots of light and bulbs. Large tables for a large company. Nice staff. You can come here with children and dogs. The wait for food is not long and it is delicious. Overall, everything is pretty great and I liked everything.

I recently went to eat at Buschpilot with a larger group. Not only was the location beautiful, but the food was also top-notch. You can tell the chef knows what they're doing. Plus, Tobi, the manager, is very helpful ;) I can only recommend it.

Place to be, wonderful to have a drink in a really beautiful green setting. The Buschpilot is beautifully embedded in the park and the view is simply a highlight. It's easy to reach by bike or train. I didn't choose food so I can't write anything about it.

Good standard food but too expensive for a restaurant of this type. I would have been happy to just eat a few fries or a normal dinner for a maximum of €15. There's probably no such thing in Stuttgart anymore. I still have to get used to it somehow. But maybe only well-earning hipsters live in Stuttgart with a four-day week and yoga chills that I just can't get the hang of yet. Otherwise a really nice place. I felt really comfortable there on the slope in the evening sun.

For me, the Buschpilot is a little insider tip in the east of Stuttgart. Great location on the edge of Villa Berg Park on the way to the castle gardens. A beautiful outdoor terrace for the warm days and hours of the year. The food is great, as is the ambience and the staff is really attentive and friendly. All in all, a clear recommendation 😋👍

GOOD BOCIAL CUISINE I recently went to Bush Pilot with a few people and overall we were happy with the food and service. The location is in the middle of the countryside, when it's full the acoustics can be a bit of a problem. You don't have to wait long for food and drinks and we all like the food - regardless of whether it's vegetarian or with meat.

Overall the restaurant offers good value for money. The pork medallions were delicious and the portion was absolutely reasonable – a highlight of the visit! On the other hand, we found the Flädlesuppe to be a bit overpriced, and it was also very heavily salted. Maybe it can be adjusted here. A small point of criticism concerns the path to the restaurant: it was not paved during our visit and was therefore very slippery in the icy temperatures. For safety reasons, you could pay a little more attention here and sprinkle split. Despite minor deficiencies, the visit was overall worthwhile. Thank you and see you next time!

Food tastes very good, the location is also very nice. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the food is too expensive and the portions are too small. I think cheese spaetzle for €18 and two Maultaschen with a bit of potato salad for €18 are a bit too much. Nevertheless, a nice location.

A great view at a steep price. We ended up here after a day in the park. We were able to sit on the terrace and the location and view are really great. The food was delicious and of good quality! For the price, however, it was too "lax" for us. The quantity was sufficient, but for an average of €19.00 per dish you would expect a little more. It wasn't bad by any means and is a good place to go for a decent meal, but we still expected a little more.

Unfortunately we couldn't get a seat outside, but we showed up without booking in advance. Sitting outside is great but because the huge windows were open we felt like we were sitting outside. Very tasty, but I think you could serve a small mixed salad with the onion roast for the price and, especially for us Schwoba, a lot more sauce😆 But otherwise the meat was of very good quality, medium was very well done, the sauce was delicious and the spaetzle too

Today another great vegan meal at Buschpilot (potato pan with chanterelles, chard and broccoli). There is also a beautiful view on the terrace and very nice service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit when I'm in Stuttgart again.

Was our alternative location because the other one was crowded. Lady at the entrance was very friendly, the waiter outside seemed a bit uninterested and cold. Maybe it was just my impression that at times it was difficult to get someone to order. The drink selection is solid. Fair prices for cocktails and aperitifs (for Stuttgart standards). Unfortunately, the food was rather expensive and we would have expected more from the selection, so we didn't order anything to eat despite being hungry. Visually, what we saw looked appealing, even if there wasn't much ordering around us. Recommended for drinking. What was nice was that we quickly got a table outside. Unfortunately, cigarette smoke wafted in our direction from the neighboring table for a long time (maybe I'm a bit sensitive about that too). In the middle of the green. You feel undisturbed, but an insect spray is strongly recommended. Nevertheless, I was stung several times for the first time this year. Toilets are clean and modern but very narrow. Can be done for a few drinks. If there was another menu I would try the food.

Wonderful people and delicious food. A green oasis in the middle of the city. And there is wonderful coffee there from the roastery around the corner. I always enjoy visiting this restaurant.

This is a lovely beer garden inside a rather large park not too far from downtown Stuttgart. It's very popular so it's not easy to get a table, especially on warm spring or summer days. Staff can be a bit surly here, too. Still, the hearty Swabian food is good and you can never go wrong with a nice Hefeweizen, even if it costs 5€. Well, Stuttgart is not cheap

ACTUALLY I would like to classify the Buschpilot as an insider tip, but people, holy cow!!!!! The best, and I mean THE BEST roast beef I have ever eaten. End out. It doesn't get any better.

The card is balanced and has the right price-performance ratio. The kitchen team cooks with consistently great quality for everyone, including vegetarian or vegan-oriented guests. Even when the house is full, the waiting times are fair! We will be back.

Great location and vibe. A place loved by locals. The dishes are authentic local cuisine and they know how to cook meat right. "Deftig". Loved the cute walk here and around here.

I can only recommend the location because you can sit outside very well and the terrace is really nice 🤩. The menu is small but there is something great for everyone to eat. I ordered a mixed salad with fried Maultaschen, it tasted great🥘 and the prices are really humane. Service also really great. The service was very friendly and everything worked wonderfully.

Nice restaurant with nice staff. Unfortunately there was only one vegan option (and salad), which in this case also had no protein source. The seasoning is rather unspectacular. There is room for improvement in 2024 - how about vegan lentils with spaetzle (tastes the same!)

Warum Stöße ich gegen Richtlinie was hab ich da verbotenes geschrieben ??????ich habe keine Restaurant ich bin nicht Konkurrenz warum versuchen sie Rezession löschen lassen ! Versuchen sie das Fehler verbessern im Zukunft .

Wunderschön gelegen, familienfreundlich und Essen superlecker, Portionen für großen Hunger, toller Kaffee und Nachtisch dazu.In Stuttgart meiner Meinung nach das beste Restaurant, das schwäbische Küche bietet.

Wir waren als Wandergruppe mit zehn Personen im Buschpilot. Vegetarier und Fleischesser waren alle sehr zufrieden. Die Reservierung im voraus online war unkompliziert und hat perfekt geklappt. Service war sehr freundlich. Für ein vergessen aufgenommenes Essen wurde sofort ein Espresso als Entschuldigung angeboten.

Wer auf gute, schwäbische Küche, ein cooles Ambiente und lockere Atmosphäre steht, mit einer genialen Aussicht auf den Schlosspark und Naturkundemuseum genießen möchte, sollte in jedem Fall der Crew im Buschpilot einen Besuch abstatten! Bin immer wieder mal da und werde das auch so beibehalten 😀

It is a bit hidden away. But using maps, it's easy enough to find. The name might be misleading (as might be the decorations). As it is a typical southern German Restaurant/Bar. Swabian food and a nice selection of beer and wine. I won't rate the food, as I only had the sausages (which were fine).

Schöne Lage, gutes Essen und Service freundlich.

Jedesmal schmeckt uns das Essen, vor allem die Fischsuppe. Das Lokal liegt mitten im Park auch das gefällt uns. Harald
