Very tasty food and enough choice. Unfortunately our steak could have been a little hotter. There is a fixed menu and a changing one. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant - country house style, I didn't see the outside area. The nice waiter and bartender round off the pleasant evening :-)

Das Restaurant ist gemütlich und wir hatten einen guten und freundlichen Service. Leider fanden wir alle Gerichte nicht gut: Flammkuchen (klassisch) zu voll beladen und nicht kross gebacken, die Rumpsteaks waren zäh und lagen mit Soße ertränkt auf den Pommes so dass diese matschig waren Mein Kalbschnitzel mit Rahmsoße: fade braune (fertig?-)Sauce und paniertes Schnitzel. Auch die Spätzle waren geschmacklos. Die Entenbrust war nicht rosa, sondern durchgebraten und fest. Ein Graus! Nach Beschwerde gab’s das Angebot, eine neue Entenbrust zu machen, was mein Vater aber nicht wollte. Daraufhin bekam er ein sehr gutes Glas Weißwein. Zudem ist alles sehr teuer, Kalbschnitzel 27 € Rumpsteak 30 €. Für den Preis sollte man etwas Gutes erwarten.

Bottomless. I made a reservation at the Landhaus restaurant on the occasion of my grandmother's birthday. Aside from the fact that the food was below average, my grandma was served a (burnt) dessert with chocolate, to which she is severely allergic. This was not mentioned in the menu when describing the dish, nor was the chocolate visible at first glance. So now she has eaten half of the dessert. The birthday was ruined and the best part: we were also charged for the burnt dessert with the allergens. By the way, the only thing the waiter said was “sorry”. I deeply regret the visit to the country house, I have never experienced anything like it. One star for the beautiful ambience of the store.

On November 10th, 2024 we celebrated our daughter's wedding. It was so wonderful and we felt really comfortable. The food was great. The staff was courteous, loving and very, very nice, especially Dennis the service manager is a really great, wonderful person. This evening we ate here again. Simply great. We love this restaurant and can only recommend it.

Actually everything is OK. Just too few waitresses. We waited quite a long time for the food. The next room was converted into a garage. Very unfortunate.

We celebrated a very nice birthday with 50 guests. As a host, you want everyone to enjoy the food, to be provided with drinks, to feel comfortable and to be happy to be there. That's exactly how it was!!! The guests chose delicious food from a smaller, varied menu, which was served table by table. Everyone at the table had something to eat, whether it was a starter or a side salad. The main course was then served hot. The kitchen and the team were really well organized! The service staff were very attentive and provided the guests with drinks in a very friendly manner. It was a great evening for everyone – as a host you would want it to be exactly the same! Many thanks to the country house team!

We ate sea bream and zander fillet with side dishes. Vegetables inedible, potatoes still hard. A lot of money for nothing. Now the second time. The waitress was sorry and said maybe we had used the wrong chef as they had several. We go out to eat without asking first if the right chef is there.

Very nice and cozy outside and inside. However, the food suffers from ups and downs. Went to the country house again with 5 people. A side dish was completely over salted, truffle spaghetti without truffles because there were none. Cordon Bleu not through and tasteless. Detox drink too sweet. Was told to the waitress in a friendly manner, who took note of it quite indifferently. Otherwise not a word was said about it. If it were my restaurant, I would have bought a drink. We won't be coming back any time soon.

The restaurant is attractive and the staff is nice and friendly. Unfortunately the food doesn't come with it. The portions are huge and not manageable for a normal eater, but the schnitzel was firm and chewy (obviously a convenience product), the fries were over-fried and the mushroom cream sauce was a dark ready-made sauce. The price-performance ratio doesn't fit in terms of quality.

A very good Wiener clip portion. The second clip was left uneaten because it couldn't fit in the stomach.

Unfortunately thumbs down. We have reserved a side room for 40-70 people, for coffee and cake, and some may even eat soup. We were told that none of this would be a problem. Since we couldn't accurately estimate the number of people, nor how many would drink coffee or how many would eat soup, it was agreed that a few pots of coffee would be ready when we arrived. We ordered enough cake. Mind you; we were there twice to discuss. On day Dinner plates were available as cake plates, the cake forks were completely missing, and there was only sugar on all the tables, no milk. Coffee spoons were only included with some cups. There were 2-3 large pump pots of coffee on all the tables. That was very annoying because it wasn't discussed that way and in the end we paid €479 for the entire coffee, just for the straightened coffee pots, which didn't include the cake. Many of the cans were still full when we left the restaurant and were probably thrown away - it had already been paid for. Unfortunately, the employee with whom we discussed everything was not on site that day, even though she assured us two days in advance that she would be there that day and would be responsible for us in the next room. We later found out that she was off work. Planning and organization were an absolute catastrophe, even though everything had been discussed twice beforehand and entered into the appointment book, and even the chef was sometimes present Unfortunately, this was all very disappointing.

Leider Daumen nach unten. Nebenraum wurde von uns reserviert, für Kaffee und Kuchen, manche eventuell auch ein Süppchen und ein Bier. für ca. 50-70 Personen. Da wir die Personenzahl nicht genau einschätzen konnten, auch nicht wieviele Kaffee trinken oder wieviele ein Süppchen essen, wurde vereinbart, dass ein paar Kannen Kaffee beim Eintreffen schon bereit stehen. Kuchen hatten wir ausreichend bestellt. Wohlgemerkt; wir waren zweimal da gewesen zum besprechen. Am Tag X war dann eine Tafel gerichtet mit all den Kuchen, die weder geschnitten waren, noch lagen Messer und Tortenheber dabei. Als Kuchenteller standen Ess-Teller bereit, die Kuchengabeln dazu fehlten komplett, sowie auch auf allen Tischen nur Zucker stand, keine Milch. Kaffeelöffel lagen nur bei manchen Tassen bei. Auf allen Tischen standen 2 - 3 große Pumpkannen mit Kaffee. Dieser hätte gereicht für mindestens 100 Personen. Das war sehr ärgerlich, denn besprochen war das so nicht und letztendlich haben wir für den kompletten Kaffee 479€ bezahlt, nur für die gerichteten Kaffeekannen, der Kuchen war da nicht inbegriffen. Viele Kannen waren noch voll als wir das Lokal verließen und wurde wahrscheinlich weggekippt- bezahlt war er ja. Leider war auch die Mitarbeiterin mit der wir alles besprochen hatten, an diesem Tag nicht vor Ort, obwohl sie uns zwei Tage vorher versicherte, dass sie an diesem Tag da sei und für uns im Nebenraum zuständig wäre. Später erfuhren wir, dass sie einfach frei hatte. Planung und Organisation waren eine absolute Katastrophe, obwohl zuvor alles zweimal besprochen war und auch ins Terminbuch eingetragen wurde, selbst der Küchenchef war teilweise anwesend Leider war dies alles sehr enttäuschend.

The restaurant has a very nice ambience, spacious outdoor area and super nice and attentive staff, as well as a great selection of sophisticated dishes. We had a grilled rump steak (approx. 300g) with fried potatoes and a side salad, linguine with fried shrimps, a Viennese-style schnitzel with chanterelles and, for the junior, a schnitzel with fries. The little guests have also been thought of with a small playground area. We will definitely come back to spend a nice evening there.

The service really tried to accommodate the rush. Unfortunately, one trained service person and one helper were not enough. The beer garden was completely full and tables inside were also occupied. The drinks took a very long time. The meal is relatively short. The portion was large and there was a lot of toppings on the salad. Taste also good. The chairs didn't all have a seat cushion - it wasn't clear whether there was one. The service slow.

Great beer garden, very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. Despite having an asparagus menu, there was no more asparagus. We were looking forward to it at the end of the season and checked beforehand to see whether it was still on the menu. Then there was a problem with the gas stove, all pasta dishes were also canceled. So my friend, who wanted to switch to pasta instead of asparagus, decided on the veal schnitzel - according to the menu with spaetzle. No spaetzle, just like noodles. My other friend chose a pork tomahawk. It was actually just fat/rind. Hardly any real meat. 3/4 remained lying because of sloppy fat. And the baked potato on the side wasn't cooked through. My fried potatoes were very soggy and almost cold. The rump steak was not medium rare, as ordered and announced, but could hardly be described as medium. We said everything honestly, apart from a small sorry there was nothing from the otherwise extremely friendly service staff. After so many disappointments, a concession or at least a Ramazotti would have been appropriate. Especially since we left between €45 - €50 per person there. Conclusion: very nice location but the cooking skills of the kitchen team are the obvious, and suggested to the guest that the claim was unfortunately not met. It's a shame, the atmosphere would have had potential for a new favorite location.

I have to admit, it's been a long time since I've eaten out as well as I did in the country house. German cuisine at the highest level. Fresh ingredients, the chef loves his craft, super friendly service, very attentive and a relaxed atmosphere. Price-performance is absolutely fine. You get something for your money. We would like to come again.

The dishes are overpriced and not worth the price. The lady who served us was very friendly, but the gruff gentleman behind the bar doesn't work at all. Unpleasant appearances and guests paying separately are rather annoying to him. Everyone had to come to the bar to pay...the music was too loud and the flowers on all the tables had long since wilted...it's a shame, but you don't have to go there anymore...

Children's schnitzel was not well cooked, veal at Cordembleu was of poor quality for the price, pepper sauce at Ochsenspies came across like something out of a bag. All in all disappointing and not worth the money.

The food is just good and so are the prices, service/Kelner swhr is nice and friendly, and I can recommend the rhum steak with fries is a very large portion. As a dessert I would recommend the waffle with cherry grits, simply delicious 😋 highly recommended

A nice restaurant with a very inviting beer garden in summer. The menu is clear, but this is more of a quality feature here. The dishes are all delicious and very appetizingly prepared. The portions are enormously large, which further improves the price-performance ratio. The service is very attentive and friendly and responds to special requests. If you don't want the side salad in a dip of ready-made salad dressing, you should say so when ordering. What disturbs the overall impression, however, is that after an evening in the restaurant, the clothes smell very much of the kitchen or frying oil, even if you were not sitting near the kitchen. So far I have had to air or wash my clothes overnight after every visit. There are two types of chairs, one is uncomfortable (straw-like covering) and the other is fine. I simply swapped each time. Four stars instead of five because of the smell. Maybe something can be done with the ventilation, otherwise it's really great.

Went there for a cozy Sunday lunch and arrived relaxed and returned home very satisfied. Service was very accommodating and everyone enjoyed the food. The room is very bright and has enough space for children/strollers. Gladly again!

Gutes Essen angenehme Atmosphäre optimal sich mit Freunden nach Feierabend zu treffen

Wir hatten für mehrere Personen geschäftlich abends einen Tisch reserviert, dies wurde auch schriftlich per Mail bestätigt. Als wir am Landhaus angekommen sind, kam mir die erste Mitarbeitende entgegen und sagte, es seien keine Plätze reserviert gewesen. Ich ging hinein und zeigt die Mail auf dem Smartphone vor und es wurde geflucht, anstatt etwas konstruktives zu unternehmen. Die Kellnerin war den ganz Abend über auch sehr patzig und ungehalten gegenüber Gästen und der anderen Kellnerin, welche sehr sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und toll war was ihren Service anging. Weiterhin waren noch ein Herr im Service, der sich sehr gut um die Erstversorgung (Wasser) unserer Hundes gekümmert hat, auch der Koch brachte Speisen zu den Gästen nach draußen. Das Essen war ok, einigen schmeckte es hervorragend, den anderen gar nicht, aber auch hier wurde nachgearbeitet seitens der Küche. Es war schlichtweg viel zu wenig Personal da und dafür aber der gesamte Gastraum geöffnet und der Garten, der wirklich nett ist - aber das ist mit einer willigen Kellnerin und einer Frau, die diesen Job sicherlich nicht aus Liebe sondern eher aus der Not macht nicht zu händeln. Wäre ich privat hier gewesen ohne eine Reservierung für XX Personen, wäre ich sicherlich gegangen und hätte zuhause einen Absacker getrunken, aber das kann man bei einem Sommerfest für seine Mitarbeitenden einfach nicht bringen. Es war uns jedoch wahnsinnig peinlich, da wir die Location ausgesucht haben und es nicht perfekt war, was unsere Leute jedoch verdient hätten.

Toller Service, super Kaffee. Das Restaurant ist ein großer Raum ohne Unterteilung, es war voll und daher sehr laut. Gemütlichekeit fehlt. Die Hausmacher Spätzle waren sehr lecker, die Portion Bandnudeln haben mir nur mittelmäßig geschmeckt..

Waren heute mit 11 Personen zum Weihnachtsessen da und ich kann die Kommentare vor mir absolut nicht verstehen. Es ist klar das es an Weihnachten eine spezielle Karte gibt damit die Küche trotz der Mengen an essen hinterher kommt. Es war für jeden etwas dabei und geschmacklich einfach top. Auch der Service absolut super freundlich und Getränke wurden auch regelmäßig geprüft und direkt nachgefüllt. Alles super 👍

Waren am 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag mit der Familie dort gewesen. Es gab nur eine Weihnachtskarte. Normalerweise auch nicht schlimm. Allerdings war das Schnitzel mit Pilz-Rahmsoße ohne Beilagensalat 10 € teurer als auf der Standard Speisekarte mit Salat. Die Spätzle waren kalt und die Pilze suchte man vergeblich . Bei der Reklamation ging man leider nicht auf uns ein. Der Service lies zu wünschen übrig. Wir mussten 2mal nachfragen ob wir das Essen bestellen können. Beim servieren der Speisen wurden uns die Teller überreicht, die unten total fettig waren. Ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten wurden wir erst garnicht gefragt. Wir saßen mit acht Personen an einem Tisch der nur für sechs Personen vorgesehen ist. Fazit: vorerst nicht mehr ☹️

Schon öfter da gewesen, Sommer toller Biergarten, Winter drinnen etwas laute Akustik. Toilettentüren quietschen stark. Netter Service, gutes Essen, nette Einrichtung. Kann man empfehlen Leider vergessen Fotos zu machen

Für Ludwigshafener Verhältnisse ein sehr sehr schönes Restaurant mit tollem Ambiente und schöner Außenterrasse im Sommer. Das Servicepersonal ist durchgehend super freundlich und richtig auf Zack. Essen schmeckt sehr lecker und es gibt eine schöne Auswahl. Lediglich unser Platz im Nebenraum war etwas dunkel,

Um 22 Uhr wurde abkassiert, dann musste man gehen.

Wie waren ganz spontan ins Landhaus gefahren , Auf eine Kleinigkeit was zu Trinken und Essen 🥣 ✨😊. Einen Flammkuchen und RieslingSchorle und AperolSpritz . Wir waren im Freien gesessen. Der Service war freundlich und gut gelaunt.✨🎶🍀 Der Schorle richtig Lecker ging wie Öl runter 🎃🥰😊 Der Cocktail war auch gut . Der Flammkuchen war gut , aber ich hab schon bessere gegessen. Das Essen was wir sahen wo an die umliegenden Tische kam war sehr schön angerichtet . Wir werden nochmal vorbeischauen und dann zum richtigen Essen …… bin gespannt 😎🍀✨
