Landgasthof Röfleuten in Pfronten

Update October 2024: We ate twice. The first time we had spaetzle and for the husband, roast pork. Food was plentiful and tasted okay. On the second visit a week later we had schnitzel, once with cream sauce and once with pepper cream sauce. The schnitzel was carelessly placed on the plate, the croquettes were just as carelessly placed next to it and the sauce - well. The portion with the “normal” cream sauce was just as unmotivated. It seems like both sauces are the same, just added a few green pepper berries. The spaetzle was overwhelmed by nutmeg. No response from the chef after we told service what we complained about. It's a shame, but that was nothing. Delicious food and large portions. Very attentive staff!

Good country inn in Pfronten - Röfleuten. Delicious food and friendly service. Reservation is better, but sometimes it works without it.

What a lovingly run hotel by a young couple with their hearts in the right place… Unfortunately, due to a car breakdown, I didn't come in until breakfast... the charming waitress Sandy helped me with all her efforts to find the right cell phone cable and the breakfast was fresh and delicious... I would have liked to have checked in right away, but in a late emergency situation I'm not far away I ended up in an overpriced room without a private toilet or bathroom, where all the numerous guests shared a small shared toilet and shower and that too without breakfast at the high price. You also had to pay a lot to pick it up for 10 km. Here the boss chauffeured me back to the broken down vehicle in a futuristic, comfortable, new car and didn't accept any money. The hotel is beautifully located, not far from the picturesque church and with a great mountain and Falkenstein panorama... I can recommend it to all lovely people who want to feel comfortable and appreciate the price-performance ratio - thank you, thank you, thank you

This is a family-run, beautiful hotel where hospitality is LARGE. We received a warm welcome and were very well looked after throughout our stay. We would be happy to come back to the von Thennet family at the Röfleuten country inn. Many thanks to Sigi Lapp from Bad Homburg Obererlenbach

A very nice guesthouse to relax with beautifully modernized rooms, delicious food and very friendly staff. We had a family room with a bunk bed and a large double bed, everything was very clean and modern. The breakfast was very generous and good, and the dinner was very tasty. The restaurant area inside and outside are very cozy. Also a big compliment to the whole team, who are very friendly and make the whole thing a lot more comfortable. When you register you also get a Königscard which gives you lots of things like cable cars, swimming pools and other things for free. We were very satisfied and would like to come back.

Super nice contact 👌 and very good service. The room was also very good with a great location to the mountains 🏔 with a balcony and TV, everything you need. The breakfast was also very good 👍, nothing was missing. I can really only recommend it 💯 And although you need a car to get where you want, everything is close 😉.

I can only recommend it. The owners manage both the hotel and the restaurant “Am Rissbach”. Here even the chef comes to the guests and asks how it tasted. Family run, highly recommended

It was very nice, but with the parking prices they are outrageous at €12 per day and gravel space.

My husband and I were guests at the inn for the second time and were very impressed once again! This is a family-run inn, the hosts are very accommodating and friendly! The rooms were always clean and have been newly renovated. The surroundings and landscape are also really beautiful. The hospitality of the guests is commendable, the food is strikingly delicious and the service is very friendly. We can only recommend the inn and will definitely come back!

Quaint little family run hotel with newly renovated rooms in 2023 in a beautiful mountain setting with fabulous scenery and landscapes all around. Only a couple minutes drive to the Austrian border and possibly the best in House restaurant I've experienced in Germany thanks to the formidable Cook who used to work with non other than the legends Eckart Witzigmann and Harald Wohlfahrt. If you're down this way visiting schloss Neuschwanstein or any of the beautiful lakes this is a local secret well worth visiting for a nice meal in a german Biergarten or in the Winter by the fire in the restaurant.

We accidentally came across the offer of Landgasthof Röfleuten through a comparison portal when deciding to go to Bavaria in the spring. The cost of accommodation with breakfast seemed acceptable, especially since we wanted to have a view of the mountains and a parking lot at our disposal. On site, there was an additional surprise from the staff in the form of a gift card to many facilities in the Allgäu area, and the offer of attractions was really extensive! The facility itself is very well-kept, the rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly. Excellent breakfasts, but we were even more surprised by the restaurant located on the premises, where we ate delicious dinners and the local beer was equally delicious. Thank you very much, we will certainly come back in winter. Greetings to the owners and all staff!

Recommended in itself. What bothered me was that a sauna was advertised, but an additional 10 euros were charged on site to heat it up; and that with a high room price. Breakfast very good and plentiful. Room OK. Quiet location.

A very nice, clean, family-run hotel. You are welcomed very friendly and feel comfortable. Very good buffet-style breakfast, lots of choice, a bit of everything and it's always replenished! There is as much coffee pot on the table as you want. Dinner in the restaurant in star format! Seldom eaten as well as there! It is just a little bit away from the town, Pffonten is stretched out. Unfortunately the bus doesn't run often, something needs to be improved because there are some guesthouses or hotels. Otherwise we felt very comfortable! Gladly again!

Cozy hotel, in a beautiful location in the Allgäu...nice staff...small but nice rooms that are equipped with everything you need...all in all it was a nice vacation there
