Excellent food, lovely ambiance with its wooden decor. Good value for money!

We had a delicious meal in this lovely beer garden. The dishes were delicious, everything fresh. The burgers were tasty, the pike-perch wasn't frozen, and the cordon bleu was homemade. We preceded it with warm cheese pretzels made on the house. The plastic butter packets could have been improved with a dipping bowl or a pot of herb butter, for example, but that's just a side note. The very young staff were really accommodating, attentive, and friendly, so we were happy to give them a generous tip. A truly lovely beer garden, well worth a visit, even with your bike, which is allowed in the courtyard. However, you should make a reservation. The interior is nostalgic and dated, but cozy. There are also rooms, but we didn't use them.

We went to the Hüttenschänke for dinner today. Unfortunately, all the outside seats were already reserved, so there's nothing we can do 🤷‍♂️. We also decided at short notice. We were offered a seat inside, and when we asked if our dog was allowed in, they smiled and said, "Of course." So, first of all, it's dog-friendly 👍, which was even more emphasized by the waitress and manager. The menu is very extensive, so everyone should find something to their liking, even vegans. The food served was excellent; there was absolutely nothing to complain about. The "Hüttengaudi" tarte flambée was the best tarte flambée I've ever eaten; kudos to the kitchen, a very beautiful creation. All the other dishes were also great! Portion size, temperature, taste—we give everything 5 stars. The service staff was very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend the Hüttenschenke; it truly deserves 5 stars! Stay the way you are and don't let the hectic summer season bother you. I can't comment on the hotel or the rooms; this review refers to the restaurant.

Always worth a visit. You have to make a reservation, though, otherwise it's always full. The salads are plentiful, and the sauces are great.

It's a very nice restaurant. There are various spaces for parties. The food was excellent and plentiful. The service was also very good and fast. The restaurant is highly recommended 😀👍😀 I didn't stay at the hotel.

This country inn, located a little outside the town, is definitely worth the drive. The large beer garden is a popular spot, especially in the summer months; reservations are highly recommended. The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable.

Top food, top service, beautiful beer garden

Highly recommended! I've had both the Westerwälder Krüstchen (a kind of sausage) and the Zander Knusperli (a kind of zander crispy). Tasty, perfectly prepared. Along with the respective side dishes, generous and visually appealing portions. Great, friendly service – attentive and prompt. Plus, an attractive, inviting beer garden.

We went here for dinner and, unfortunately, I have to say that the food wasn't particularly good. Very dry and not very tasty. The service wasn't up to scratch either, so you had to go to the bar to order in the beer garden. When you ordered a 0.5L spritzer, you got a wheat beer glass... not particularly appetizing. I can't understand the good reviews.

We stopped there spontaneously on a recommendation on our way back and managed to get a seat for two in the busy beer garden. Reservations are recommended if the weather is good. Service was very friendly, and the food (steak and tarte flambée) was excellent! Keep up the good work.

We took a tour through the Westerwald region (today) on Ascension Day with several trikes. Based on a recommendation, we reserved a table in the beer garden for lunch. Despite the mixed weather, the beer garden was busy and the place was packed. Our unanimous conclusion: Fast and attentive service, super delicious food, a very good selection (even for vegans), and great prices for the portions. Our CanAm group is happy to give it a very good review!

Unfortunately I cannot agree with the friendly reviews: After a criticism, the operation switched to enemy mode and that didn't change even after we tried several times to lighten the mood again. The beer garden itself is very nice and that's why it's all the more unfortunate that the atmosphere was so poisonous :-( Terrible

Unfortunately, I cannot share the enthusiasm for this location. The four of us were seated at a table that was much too small. The service wasn't particularly friendly and the boss (?) made fun of the service staff in front of the guests. My food wasn't tasty (personal opinion! -> vegetable couscous), but the others at our table enjoyed their food. The price-performance ratio is consistent.

There is also delicious food and more than one dish for vegetarians.

Once again I was able to conclude that a visit is definitely worth it. The dishes were all delicious and there were large portions at very good prices. All the staff were very attentive and friendly - we all really enjoyed it (again). Only the spatial and design ambience needs improvement - but that can be overlooked due to the otherwise positive impression

Very good cuisine. With the pepper cream schnitzel we were warned that the sauce was very spicy. She was too. Adequately spicy for our taste. We didn't need to add any seasoning. No matter what you ordered, every meal was a pleasure and a surprise for the eyes. The restaurant has a large, beautifully decorated beer garden. A true oasis of well-being on warm days. I definitely recommend reserving a spot, as everything is often full.

Mother's Day in the Hüttenschenke. The beer garden is a nice place to linger. The ladies and gentlemen in service were very attentive and friendly. All meat dishes, hussar skewers and schnitzel were very good. The croquettes with the dishes were good, but the fries were unfortunately far too hard and unfortunately fried to death. Unfortunately the side salad wasn't a success either, there's definitely room for improvement here! Again, meat very tasty, side dishes except for the croquettes need improvement!

It was very nice. Eaten and drank well. Can highly recommend the beer garden. I think it's open now.

I ate tagliatelle with asparagus and prawns and it was a poem. Noodles to the point, the asparagus was still crunchy and super prawns plus a salad that was really very very good. I can highly recommend the place with a clear conscience. And there were still places available on May 1st.

We went to the Hüttenschänke with a group of 10 people to hear the music group Smash and also ate there. The food was very tasty, the portions were large, the conditions were friendly and accommodating and the prices for the dishes were absolutely reasonable. We will definitely eat there again. Stay as you are and thank you again for the great food and the good hospitality

We had dinner there. Delicious regional cuisine. Hearty and delicious. Our children would be well looked after. The service is courteous and good. Overall, a lovely evening spent there.

We had reserved a table, which was certainly a good thing. The country inn was very well attended. The service staff was very friendly and the food was really very good. The various plates that were carried past us also looked very good. We were definitely NOT here for the last time. 👍😊 It should also be mentioned that we think it has a good price-performance ratio. You'll enjoy going out to eat there again. 🙂

Bowling followed by a meal. The service was quick and friendly. The ambience invites you to linger. Many smaller rooms create great privacy. The food was very tasty. The only exception was the creme brulee. Unfortunately, it was cold and couldn't keep up with the high standard of the starter and main course. Nevertheless, I would eat here again at any time.

Price-performance ratio is really good. There were sixteen of us and we tried a lot of things. Everything was good and plentiful. A problem due to the high number of people, we had to wait a long time for food. But the taste was worth the wait. But there are far too few parking spaces available. Still a good restaurant, always happy.

Essen dauerte leider sehr lang. Knapp zwei Stunden. Vorspeise war sehr gut. Hauptspeise war okay.

Essen und Service hervorragend.

War ok. Der Service war nett und engagiert, allerdings hat es lang gedauert, bis das Essen kam. In der Vorweihnachtszeit einerseits verständlich andererseits insgesamt 2 1/2 Stunden für Vorspeise & Hauptgang doch recht lang. Mit Kleinkind nicht ganz optimal. Das Essen war in Ordnung, die Vorspeise war lecker, der Hauptgang ging. Hat einen nicht vom Hocker gehauenen, war aber auch nicht schlecht.

Super Location zum feiern.. Personal ist super nett und auf Zack..
