Früher war der Gasthof echt toll ! Das Essen heute war grauenhaft. Leberle waren teilweise roh und zu groß geschnitten. Das was Spätzle sein sollte war zu ölig, gelb und nicht genießbar. Die Vorspeise war ganz okay. Von der früheren feinen Küche meilenweit entfernt. Schade um das Geld.

Wir haben in dem Landgasthof auf unserer Heimfahrt übernachtet. Unser Zimmer erschien etwas in die Jahre gekommen, besonders der Teppichboden. Das Frühstück war gut und das Personal sehr nett. Insgesamt ist der Gasthof empfehlenswert.

Es war fantastisch. Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Landschaft wunderschön und friedlich, und die Toiletten waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Essen war hervorragend und köstlich. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ich habe zwei Nächte in diesem unglaublich authentischen Hotel verbracht und war absolut begeistert. Die Zimmer waren zwar einfach eingerichtet, hatten aber eine unaufdringliche, gehobene Atmosphäre. Noch wichtiger war aber, dass ich dort zweimal zu Abend gegessen habe und beide Male eine absolut positive Überraschung war. Jedes einzelne Gericht, das ich bestellt habe, war köstlich!

Wir waren zum 2mal mit unserem kleinen Hund im Rebstock. Zimmer, sauber, gross, genügend Ablageflächen und das Bett ausgezeichnet. Was aber fehlt ist eine TV-Senderliste. z.B. ZDF ?? Auch das Frühstück war lecker. Alle Mitarbeiter freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir können den Rebstock weiter empfehlen und kommen bestimmt wieder. Jacqueline, Erich, Filou

Sie brauchen kein Aryuveda, noch Verjüngungskuren - sie müssen einfach nur ins Rebstock gehen zum Übernachten und Essen :-). Mein EZ war sicherlich aus den achtziger Jahren, Teppichboden in Dunkelrot mit Blumen, Stuhlkissen in Orange :-). Alles war aber super sauber. Das Personal ist total freundlich, das Essen lecker - nur die Preise stimmen nicht so ganz. Käsespätzle 28 Euro und ein kleiner Salat für 11 Euro sind schon bisschen übertrieben. Lecker war das Essen aber die Preise sind wohl durch die Nähe zur Schweiz versaut! Schade..... aber das Hotel ist empfehlenswert! Ach und auch so richtig "retro" - Teppichboden im Restaurant 😅

Gutes Restaurant mit großen Essensportionen,oft aber ohne Beilagensalat

Wir haben am Samstagabend auf der Rückreise von Freiburg in die Schweiz, spontan nach einem Tisch für 4 Personen gefragt.Trotz Fullhouse hat man uns sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend sogar noch den Stammtisch wunderschön zurechtgemacht und uns sehr herzlich, kompetent und zuvorkommend bedient. Wir haben uns sofort sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war wie erwartet genau so top wie das Personal und so können wir nur tolle 5 Sterne an den Landgasthof Rebstock vergeben. Wir besuchen ihn bestimmt mal wieder und empfehlen ihn gerne weiter. Nochmals herzlichen Dank und liebe Grüsse aus der Schweiz.

Es war einfach köstlich! Und relativ günstig. Der Service auf Englisch war hervorragend. Sehr freundlich – mit diesem Restaurant kann man nichts falsch machen, es ist definitiv einen Besuch wert! Kreditkarten werden akzeptiert. Vielen Dank.

Hervorragende Küche in rustikalem Ambiente. Ein luftiger Rösti mit Geschnetzeltes waren hervorragend, selbst der günstigste Dessert enttäuschte nicht. Das ganze mit einem süffigen Gutedel abgerundet, flott zubereitet trotz viel Kundenverkehr. Professionell und ohne Schnickschnack.

Ob zur Hochzeit oder zum gemütlichen Abendessen wurden wir noch nie weder vom Essen noch vom Service enttäuscht. Der Service jederzeit freundlich und sehr aufmerksam und das Essen war immer lecker. Jiri als Gastgeber bleibt sehr in guter Erinnerung!

Toller Mittagsgenuss im Rebstock Haltingen! Bœuf Stroganoff zart und würzig mit knusprigen Rösti, Mousse au Chocolat samtig-fruchtig – ein Highlight! Service: freundlich, aufmerksam, herzlich – absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir kennen den Rebstock von früher, damals war das Essen hervorragend.Deshalb haben wir dieses Mal eine Übernachtung und ein Abendessen gebucht. Schon der Empfang war ungewöhnlich, es musste sofort bezahlt werden. Das Zimmer hatte einen unbrauchbaren Fernsehapparat, nicht mal ARD oder ZDF waren zu empfangen. Die Toilettenbürste war zerbrochen. Das Essen hatte das Niveau einer Großküche und war überteuert. Der Service schlecht. Frühstück dürftig. Verabschiedung: keine. Wegen eines vergessenen Schlafanzuges sollten wir zurückgerufen werden, dies ist nicht geschehen. Fazit: Nie wieder !!!

Das Hotel eignet sich perfekt für einen längeren Aufenthalt oder Urlaub: ein komfortables und geräumiges Apartment, eine schöne Aussicht aus dem Fenster, Ruhe und Frieden, ein sehr freundliches Personal, das sich bemüht, den Gästen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu bereiten, und eine wunderschöne Umgebung.

Ein bodenständiges Hotel und Restaurant mit sehr kompetenten, herzlichen Personal. Das Essen ist grandios, ich empfehle das Wiener Schnitzel und den Spargel zur Spargelzeit. Es liegt perfekt, man erreicht sowohl den Vitra Campus als auch das Carhartt Outlet innerhalb von wenigen Minuten und in Basel ist man auch sehr schnell. Eine absolute Empfehlung ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Geschäftliches Weihnachtsessen im Rebstock in Haltingen Zum wiederholten male durften wir die Gastfreundschaft und das ausgezeichnete Essen im Rebstock in Haltingen genießen. Der Service war ausgezeichnet, die Speisen an Qualität und Frische nicht zu übertreffen. Besonders erwähnenswert ist Tommy der uns quasi jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen hat.

Der Rebstock war schon immer eine tolle Gaststätte. Der junge Wirt versteht sein Handwerk. Wir übernachten dort immer wieder gerne und lassen uns im Restaurant von der zuvorkommenden Mannschaft verwöhnen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das fantastische Eis zum Dessert Fazit. Im Rebstock werden alle Wünsche vollumfänglich erfüllt!

Die Gänseleber in Scheiben rustikal gebraten und mit grünem Salat /Mayosauce serviert. Das Quittengeleé dazu geschmacksneutral aber üppig. Feine Küche geht anders.

For us, one of the best restaurants in the region. Accordingly, it's pricey, but you don't have to come every day.

We came with high expectations for a game dinner. The portions were, let's say, small, considering that a saddle of venison costs over 50 euros. The ambiance is okay, but it doesn't quite match the very high pricing. Unfortunately, the service wasn't what we expected. The tone and manner could definitely be improved, to put it mildly. Guests should feel comfortable, especially at these prices.

Excellent location just steps from Basel. Polite and friendly. Very clean rooms.

Great rooms, the shower is a bit small for tall or wide people, but the bed is comfortable. The kitchen is fantastic; you absolutely must eat in the restaurant, and the service is excellent.

A bit cold, much too loud, my wild boar was excellent, the cream sauce on the cream schnitzel was awful, and the potato salad with the schnitzel wasn't seasoned enough. An hour's wait after ordering is unfortunately too long.

My last visit to Rebstock was unfortunately very disappointing. The ambiance is more reminiscent of a village pub. No decor, very bad air, and no attention to detail. You don't get a very warm welcome. The food was OK, but here I was shocked by the presentation of the dishes. Everything was very poorly prepared. Even in a cafeteria, more emphasis is placed on presentation. In a restaurant like Rebstock claims to be, I definitely expect more. The bread had probably been cut long ago, as it was a bit dry. There was only olive oil and no butter. The fries with the beef fillet were swimming in the sauce, so they were completely soggy by the time the plate arrived at the table. The vegetables were rather hard rather than firm and completely unseasoned. The stroganoff, the spaetzle, was completely overcooked, and the meat portion was very meager and sometimes tough. Our waitress was nice, but I felt there was a lack of hospitality, and nothing was done to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Conclusion: The Rebstock is anything but an upscale restaurant. It's absolutely standard fare, with the decor and service rather below average. The prices are absolutely overpriced, arrogant, and don't do justice to the quality and taste of the food. Of course, we should have said something, but we had to wait almost an hour for our main course, and after seeing how other guests who had also waited a long time were treated, we wanted to leave as quickly as possible. So, if you like standard fare, poor service, and exorbitant prices, the Rebstock is the perfect place for you. I can get better quality at home in Zurich for the same price (total bill: €340) and don't have to get ripped off at the Rebstock.

We celebrated my mother's 75th birthday today at Rebstock Haltingen – unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The lamb's lettuce for €16 was tiny, and the croutons weren't homemade. The food arrived after over an hour and a half, the sauce was sparse, and the spaetzle didn't seem fresh. When I asked when we could expect the food, as my 9-year-old nephew was hungry, I was rudely dismissed: "Then you should have ordered for the child first." We're in the south of Germany, but not anywhere else in Southern Europe, and we enjoy eating together as a family. A dessert for my nephew as an apology – for us adults: nothing, no apology. Average taste, vegetables unseasoned, service without a smile. Once a restaurant with a good reputation, now disappointing. We didn't leave hungry, but we wouldn't recommend it to anyone. €340 for 6 people and no wow factor, quite the opposite. No photos, just disappointing. Word of mouth…

We were dining at a restaurant with a group of friends and were sadly shocked by one experience. At the next table, there was a group of older guests, and a waiter remarked that he was glad that a planned wedding dinner between two men had been canceled because he couldn't bear to see such a thing and found it "disgusting." Such statements are absolutely disrespectful and hurtful to us. We believe that a restaurant should be a place where everyone is welcome and treated equally, regardless of who they love or how they live their lives. This made us feel very uncomfortable and we will not be returning. I recommend that anyone who values ​​equality and respectful interaction should carefully consider whether they want to support this restaurant.

We were here for our wedding and were absolutely thrilled! The food was excellent, fresh, and lovingly prepared. The staff was warm, attentive, and always on hand, without being intrusive. After a lovely evening stroll, we wanted to enjoy a chilled drink or two in the lovely beer garden near Rebstock. After about 15 minutes, a young man came by with a menu and greeted us. After we pointed out that we'd just like a drink, he said that was possible and left the drinks menu. Meanwhile, the guests at the neighboring table left the beer garden without having eaten or drunk anything. After another 10 minutes, we left too. No drink(s), and that on such a wonderful evening. So, all that remains to be said is that they still exist – people who don't feel the need to treat all guests equally.

I was just in the beer garden with my husband for a drink. After a quarter of an hour, a staff member actually came and gave us a drink menu. After another 10 minutes, without anyone attending to our request, we left the beer garden. Meanwhile, another couple also left without being served! It's very likely that guests who also eat are given priority! But whatever – maybe the waiter was having a bad day, maybe it was the high temperatures, maybe it was just a coincidence – but service isn't the top priority.

We were passing through and spontaneously decided to eat there. We were able to bring our dog into the beautiful beer garden without any problems. He was greeted with treats, and the waitress was absolutely in love. 😁 The food was excellent, albeit not cheap. Decent portions, upscale ambiance. A truly great restaurant.

A nice, manageable menu which is always a good sign and you could really taste the fat of the nuts in the pistachio panacotta. We were there for the first time yesterday, the food is delicious but the portion is really small, I had a schnitzel with fries, for 33 euros there were 2 small and very thin schnitzels and a really small portion of fries, the apple juice cost just under 10 euros, the nüssli salad cost 16 euros, that's just unrelated, don't get me wrong, we're happy to pay a little more, but we expect something in return :) There are much better inns with much larger portions for significantly less Money:)

A very charming property. The rooms were beautiful; we stayed on the 2nd floor of the annex building. Since it was the attic floor, I recommend taller guests be cautious when booking this room. Free parking and breakfast were included. Breakfast featured a variety of cheeses, cold cuts, boiled eggs, and bread. The staff were friendly and communicative. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Seit vielen Jahren besuchen wir mit der Familie oder mit Freunden das Restaurant Rebstock und können es sehr weiterempfehlen. Das Gebäude ist sehr schön, und auch drinnen ist es behaglich und gemütlich. Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Die Bedienung ist äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend, geht auf die Wünsche der Gäste ein und ist sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen ist köstlich, gleichgültig, ob es ein Schlemmermenue, ein herzhaftes Gericht oder eine vegetarische Speise ist. Alles wird mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet. Die Speisekarte ist abwechslungsreich. Im Sommer hat man die Möglichkeit, wunderschön draussen zu essen.

I had dinner there with my family on Sunday. We were absolutely satisfied, the food was very, very good, you can notice the freshness of the products. The game that is currently on offer was also absolutely top class. I was surprised by the friendliness, especially towards the children. Köstlicher Rehrücken, wie gewünscht rosa gebraten mit kreativem Maronen-Weintrauben-Rotkraut und Birne , letztere bissfest mit Preisselbeere, und unbeschreiblich guter Soße! Und ein ungewöhnlicher Nachtisch aus Honig-Kürbiskuchen mit Walnusseis, einzigartig, dazu sehr zugewandte, nicht aufdringliche Bedienung. Auch das Kalbsgeschnetzelte war sehr gut! Angenehm, dass es keine musikalische Beschallung gab, die Kommunikation am Tisch damit leichter viel. Gern hätte wir einen kleinen "Gruß aus der Küche" gehabt, um die Zeit der frischen Zubereitung zu überbrücken. Die Weinempfehlung passte uns gut. Ein genussvoller Abend in stilistisch sicherem Ambiente.

We celebrated our son's baptism here and are more than satisfied. The food is incredibly tasty, the staff is really very friendly. Grandma's allergies were also taken into account and a suitable menu was put together. There is a special children's menu for the little guests, which is really cute. There was something for everyone in the family (children, vegetarians, meat lovers, allergy sufferers) and everyone enjoyed it very much! Overall, simply top and absolutely recommended!

The hotel is situated only a couple of minutes from the A5 to Switzerland and the Swiss border. It lies in the middle of a quiet residential area. The rooms in the main building are spacious and clean. You can enjoy your diner inside or outside on the terrace. Quality is good. Personnel is more than friendly. A recommendable hotel if you’re looking for an overnight stay.

Das Restaurant ist sehr ansprechend und tip-top sauber. Der Service und das Essen gut aber entschieden zu teuer. Hauptgericht zu 33 Euro ist ohne Salat. Ein Glas Wein ab 9 Euro. Sehr gut und verhaltnismäßig günstig ist der hiesige Sekt. Trotzdem würde ich wiederkommen, da das Haus wunderschön ist und direkt an der Schweizer Grenze liegt, also für eine Zwischenübernachtung ideal ist.

This restaurant has bizarre prices. We spent more than €90 for 2 beers, a bottle of water and 2 schnitzels (with potato salad)! You can sit in a nice garden for that money...

Unfortunately, service with two people was totally overwhelmed that evening. The food itself, however, was great.
