Absolute Empfehlung! Ein wunderbares, rustikales Restaurant mit absolutem Wohlfühlcharakter. Das Essen ist hervorragend, und bei den großzügigen Portionen wird Jeder mehr als satt. Auch die Terrasse mit dem Blick auf das teils geschäftige Treiben auf dem Rathausplatz ist ein Highlight. Dazu eine sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung – wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Die Speisekarte war natürlich nur auf Deutsch, und ich verstand kein Wort, aber der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und zeigte mir Bilder, um mir bei der Auswahl zu helfen. Mein Essen war perfekt, und das Bier auch.

Eine schöne urige Beiz. Essen wird frisch zubereitet. Kann es bestätigen. Bin Stammgast. Sehr lecker. Es hat immer eine wechselnde Tageskarte und Specials neben der zum Glück kleinen Hauptkarte. Auch da ein Indiz, dass mit frischen Zutaten gekocht wird. Zudem hatte ich oft ein nette Gespräche mit dem Inhabern bzw Mitarbeiter und Küche. Ein muss nicht nur für Pils Liebhaber die es frisch gezapft mögen. Man wird zudem immer herzlich Empfangen. Top Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Auch die Getränke Preise sind sehr human. Hunde sind ebenfalls willkommen. Auch die Papierservietten sind von hoher Qualität. Als Servietten Fan achtet man auch darauf. Ah ja geile Currywurst.

We didn't take any photos of our delicious meal, but it was absolutely outstanding. The braised onions was fantastic and cooked medium as ordered! The veal cordon bleu was at least as good. We received a friendly welcome and were very full and satisfied. 😊👍

We had the Gordon Bleu with croquettes, a large and very tasty portion, and the Winzer Rösti (winemaker's pan-fried rösti). The portion was just right, the rösti wasn't too greasy, the raclette was generously topped, the egg was cooked to perfection, and the bacon was nice and crispy. It was simply delicious despite the large number of guests, and we didn't have to wait too long.

I had the Cordon Bleu with fries and I have to say, it was simply fantastic! It's excellent value for money and tastes amazing. I highly recommend it!

We stopped in spontaneously and had a delicious and generous meal. The cordon bleu was excellent. I can recommend it. I'd gladly come again.

From the outside it looks more like a pub; if we hadn't read the good reviews beforehand, we probably wouldn't have gone. Very attentive service, delicious food. We had to wait a while for our food, but it was also busy...shady spots on the terrace. A few meters away there's a fountain where the kids can cool their feet. It's perfect that parents have a good view, so the kids don't get bored. Parking is available in an underground garage a few meters away.

We celebrated our champagne reception after our civil wedding in the Alte Zunft and couldn't have imagined a better place! The atmosphere was warm and stylish, the service attentive and extremely friendly. The prices are fair and absolutely justified for the quality on offer here. The food was simply excellent – ​​our guests and we were thrilled! Particularly noteworthy is the great selection of drinks, which left nothing to be desired. When you see the restaurant you don't think you can eat so well here. We were very positively surprised. The ambience outside briefly reminds you of the local pub around the corner, but inside it's cozy. We had a child and dog with us and it worked out 👍 the food, especially the cordon bleu, was very tasty. Very friendly staff and very helpful. We'll definitely come by again.

The old guild is a very rustic restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. It was pretty warm inside today, early August. The food tasted great, the selection was regional and the local people were very friendly. Only the waiting time was a bit too long at more than an hour.

We were very surprised, the external appearance does not correspond to the inside of the restaurant. The food was excellent, I would say one of the best Cordon Bleu I have ever eaten. Fries were wonderful on both plates. Burger could perhaps use a little more sauce, but still very convincing. In the Old Guild you will always receive a friendly and warm welcome. You feel like you belong to a family. The menu leaves nothing to be desired and you get good home-style cuisine, which is very rich and of course tastes good.

We came to Germany on a trip from Spain, we didn't know what to eat in Weil am Rhein and we found this restaurant on Google, it was very worth it. The staff was very friendly and helped us in English.

Super great food, top quality and rich at an affordable price, nice courteous service! It was our first time here, but this went from zero to the personal restaurant charts. We can highly recommend it.

Rustic atmosphere, very nice hosts. Anyone who likes to eat schnitzel and burgers is in good hands here. But there are also other dishes that we haven't tried yet. Maybe next time. We will be back definitely.
