Be careful! Breakfast is not included in the price! Very basic furnishings, outdated bathroom, wobbly sink. Unfortunately, no one (host) on site - the whole thing feels very impersonal.

A cozy room with a great view of the lake, and the location is also well connected to the lakeside towns. The breakfast was excellent, and much of it was even prepared by the owner himself, and all requests were taken care of. The vegan option is just as good as the animal option (both are great!). Overall, all the staff were very friendly, and we were well looked after. We would love to come back!

Highly recommended. Exceptional, innovative compositions. If you enjoy good food and aren't afraid of unexpected tastes, this is the place for you. The incredibly friendly staff creates a welcoming and familiar atmosphere in the heart of a beautiful inn with an unparalleled view of Lake Chiemsee.

We had booked and paid for a one-night parking space for our motorhome in advance. The contact was nice. When we arrived late, the tiny parking lot was completely full. There was no room for us. No one was there to help us. The turnaround in the middle of the night was unbearable. A neighbor then showed us a good spot. So, offering this perfectly ordinary parking space as a motorhome parking space is cheeky, especially since all car guests have to park there.

Quite close to the lake, nice view of the lake from the small balcony, very basic furnishings, very small bathroom, completely flooded when showering, sink too small and therefore barely usable, simple mattress and pillows, room quite cramped. It's clean, and the owner is nice too – but overall, far too expensive for the service.

One or two nights are fine for me, but for a longer stay for two, the room and bathroom are too small for me personally. I also prefer personal contact upon arrival rather than using the key safe. Our room wasn't cleaned because we weren't informed about the cleaning system. There was an unsightly hole in the bathroom that wasn't properly repaired.

We stayed here for a weekend and were more than thrilled. The arrival was super easy, and there are plenty of parking spaces. Since the hotel isn't always staffed, our key was left in a safe, and the code was given to us on the day of arrival. We were also asked directly if we would like to reserve a table that evening, as the restaurant was open that evening with a small snack menu. Co-owner and head chef Patrick deserves special praise. You can feel how much love and effort goes into the food and the restaurant. We received a warm welcome, and what he served us was beautifully presented. We were also thrilled at breakfast (where I definitely recommend the large package). There was a selection of cold cuts and cheeses, as well as homemade jam, along with fresh rolls. There was also the option of croissants. We were also asked for egg dishes and white sausages. Again, praise goes to Patrick. I've never eaten such good scrambled eggs in my life! As a plus, the menu is very amusingly written. The rooms were nicely furnished and clean. Unfortunately, it's a bit noisy, but they know about that and are working on changing it. The lake view from the room is stunning, though! We'll be booking here again on our next visit to Chiemsee. An insider tip: If you can get it, try the asparagus ice cream ;)

Okay for an overnight stay while passing through. The room was a hodgepodge of older Ikea pieces. The price was a bit high.

Sehr netter Inhaber, hat sich sehr um uns gekümmert und uns einen schönen Aufenthalt bereitet. Das Frühstück war ausgiebig und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich. Alles in allem gebe ich 10 von 10 Punkte. Sollte ich nochmal an den Chiemsee fahren,so ist dieses Landgasthof meine erste Adresse für einen weiteren Aufenthalt.

It was a very nice and short one-night stay. We had a beautiful view from our balcony. Our room was comfortably furnished.

Wir hatten zwei sehr schöne Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick auf den Chiemsee. Das Frühstück fiel zwar kurzfristig aus aber wir erhielten dafür kostenlose Brunchpakete und konnten auf unserem Balkon wunderbar frühstücken. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Great location, very nice view of the lake

A beautiful, simple hotel in a rural idyll with a fantastic view of Lake Chiemsee. Breakfast is personally prepared. We felt very comfortable. A heartfelt thank you to Patrick!

Very pleasant check-in is also possible outside opening hours using the key box in front of the door. Rooms are very well maintained and furnished with love. The view of Lake Chiemsee from the balcony is of course an absolute highlight. Briefly met one of the owners at checkout. Was very friendly. Overall, absolutely recommended! Keep it up 👍🏼

Sehr ruhige Lage mit tollem Seeblick vom Balkon aus Zimmer sauber und ordentlich. Ich war zufrieden mit der Unterkunft.

Very nice inn. We were only there for one night. The building is located on the edge of the forest surrounded by nature. There are parking spaces at the front and side. The room was very nice. There were processes that were not light-tight. Bathroom was sufficient. Everything clean. The contact was unproblematic and friendly. We could also see the chickens behind the house.

We were guests at the Landgasthof Hittenkirchen last weekend. Our visit was wonderful. Since I didn't know what time we would be there before we arrived, I called to see if we could check in earlier so that we didn't have to wait because we were invited to a wedding. Luckily this was possible without any problems. It would have been possible even earlier, but due to some fault of my own, I made a mistake when entering my cell phone number. The room was very nicely decorated and clean. The view of Lake Chiemsee from the balcony was also wonderful. The breakfast was also very tasty and fresh. There was also a great alternative for my friend, who is vegetarian. It should also be emphasized that we didn't have to ask for a vegetarian alternative but were asked directly. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we will come again. (also with children, because we also discovered a "children's corner" with games)

Klassisches altes Gasthaus mit Historie. Typischer Gastraum mit viel Holz und schönen Ausblick auf den See und eine Streuobstwiese Das Zimmer war kühl und einfach eingerichtet. Alles sehr konsequent angegangen. Sehr schöner Ausblick vom Balkon auf den See. Das Frühstück war gut , der Inhaber freundlich und aufmerksam. Für ein Landhotel in dieser Preisklasse War ich sehr zufrieden Werde bestimmt nochmal einkehren Bernd Heil

We were here for breakfast, Patrick is very friendly and accommodating. Everything is there, nothing is missing. Sweet buffet including sparkling wine, juices, coffee, tea with wonderful homemade delicacies. Egg dishes, white sausages and cheese/sausage/jam are served directly on site. You will be asked in advance whether you eat animal products. Otherwise there would have been a different choice. Really a great breakfast, highly recommended. The children were also here for the cookie baking course and it was a big highlight. Patrick has the necessary sensitivity and patience for this :) we are looking forward to the children's cooking courses and hope that we can get a place :)

A role model for belief in the good in people! Today we were able to experience an example of selfless love and human togetherness at the Landgasthof Hittenkirchen. Every year people who deserve to be valuable to society are invited to the country inn at Christmas time. Children, young people, adults and seniors sat together in the cozy room with joyful anticipation and hearts full of gratitude. The incredible, delicious and extraordinary meal was atmospherically accompanied by an impressive accordion musician. Thank you very much for the beautiful, atmospheric background music! Thanks to everyone who served us warmly and patiently! Thank you for the welcoming welcome! I would like to thank all the people who have dedicated their hearts, hands and minds to this matter of the heart! All people in the background and foreground. To everyone who selflessly donated food and their life for a few beautiful hours for others!!! Everything was free but not for nothing!!! Thank you for the wonderful example of charity!!! Ich war mit meiner Tocher eine Nacht im Gasthof auf der Durchreise. Super unkompliziert und nett. Zimmer war sehr schön mit tollem Ausblick auf den Chiemsee. Würde jederzeit wieder buchen.

Hassle-free check-in. Pleasantly quiet room and a lovingly prepared breakfast table, daily changing offer of fresh products from sustainable, regional production made my stay a pleasant one. I would like to emphasize the friendly and personal hospitality and approach from the hotel. Conclusion: I recommend the house and will come here again as a guest myself.

So warm and uncomplicated. 5☆ for that. Also a great breakfast. There was a request for vegan or vegetarian options. Very rich and we were allowed to pack something for the trip. We stayed in the country inn for 2 nights. All I can say is “absolutely top” Breakfast was a blast and the room was also absolutely great. The view of Lake Chiemsee is simply incredibly beautiful. Very nice rooms, very well maintained, we were greeted very nicely. Unfortunately there was no dinner, but we were allowed to watch breakfast being prepared [we were assigned a nice table with the opportunity to have a view of the kitchen] Homemade gooseberry jam was very tasty, the wild ham is something new that you should definitely try if you have the opportunity has. Slightly smoked but not dry, keep it up. Some of the breakfast was brought to the table and some was at the counter. Keep it up, you're doing a great job.

Sehr idyllisch gelegen auf einem Berg mit einem Fernblick auf den Chiemsee. Der kleine Landgasthof ist ideal, wenn man dem stressigen Alltag entfliehen möchte. Auch Radsportler oder Trailläufer finden schöne Strecken.

Sehr netter und freundlicher Empfang. Ruhige und schöne Lage mit Blick auf den Chiemsee. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht da, hatten es als Rückreise-Zwischenstopp gebucht. Frühstück ist täglich verfügbar, Abendessen wird nur an bestimmten Terminen als ‚Dinner Club‘ angeboten, das sollte man vorher auf der Website checken.

Der Gasthof ist gut gelegen in wenigen minuten kann man alles gut erreichen der Wirt war sehr freundlich die Zimmer sauber und es gab genügend Parkplätze komme immer wieder gern dort hin zurück

Toller Ausblick, netter Inhaber, sehr gutes Restaurant. Für den Preis sind die Zimmer aber nicht zufriedenstellend: sehr hellhörig, das Schnarchen des Nachbars drang durch, und im Bad war sein Zähneputzen quasi live zu erleben.

Unkomplizierte Abwicklung. Online- CheckIn mit Schlüsselkasten. Liebevoll eingerichtet mit kleinen schönen Details 😀. Frühstück war ausreichend und tolle Auswahl. Gern wieder.

Der Gasthof ist von der Autobahn schnell zu erreichen und liegt trotzdem ruhig und absolut idyllisch. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt mit Chiemseeblick sehr genossen, auch das leckere Frühstück und die freundliche Atmospäre.

A real insider tip. Great quality of ingredients and everything is freshly prepared. I like to eat there, you can also have breakfast and the delicious cakes or desserts are very popular. Wir waren für eine Zwischenübernachtung dort und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Die Lage etwas abgelegen, aber mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf den Chiemsee. Zimmer liebevoll und modern eingerichtet, Inhaber sehr freundlich, an und Abreise unkompliziert, Frühstück absolut ausreichend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

A cozy bed and breakfast type of place. We enjoyed one of their small breakfast trays they offer. Facilities were very clean. Patrick and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Schön gelegenes Hotel mit tollem Ambiente und sehr netten und engagierten Chef Patrick. Frühstück gut, fanden wir etwas überteuert, jedoch sehr schön zubereitet , Abendessen , kleine Karte mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wein sehr überteuert, hatten leider keine Weinkarte auf dem wir dies hätten auswählen können. Zimmer sehr hellhörig , hat uns aber nicht gestört.

Das Essen war wirklich toll und etwas ganz besonderes. Patrick gibt sich so viel Mühe mit seinen Gerichten und man merkt wie viel Kochleidenschaft bei jedem einzelnen Gericht dahinter steckt. Wir können es nur empfehlen dort essen zu gehen. Ganz tolles Lokal.

The arrogance with which the tenant of this inn responds to the negative reviews says it all. The will to deal with negative experiences and to change something seems to be non-existent. Für eine oder zwei Nächte in Ordnung, Leider waren Staubnester auf dem Boden, der Seifenspender war defekt, nicht ausreichende Decken ( die Nacht war zu kalt deshalb die dünne Bettdecke nicht ausreichend), Bett sehr bequem, die Aussicht toll

We weren't satisfied and didn't eat there or move into the room. When you arrive you will receive a message with information and a personal code for the room. We booked there based on the information and photos on the internet. I asked if we could eat something after we arrived, but was told that the restaurant was closed. After arriving we took the key to our room number 2 and went upstairs. Room 2 has a balcony with a view of Lake Chiemsee. If the photo of room 2 had been posted on the homepage, I wouldn't have booked there, it wasn't appealing to us. When we entered the bathroom, we found that it was not clean, so we decided not to stay there. We called the owner and informed him that we would not be taking the room and also asked him about the findings in the bathroom. He said he personally cleaned the room with bathroom and we got what we booked. In our opinion, this is not possible at all, especially after Corona. A day later I received a WhatsApp message saying he had just looked at our room again and must have forgotten to clean parts of the bathroom. He apologized for this and was ready to talk about a settlement. I did not make a suggestion on this issue, but noted that it would be up to him to decide how to deal with legitimate criticism. The full amount was also billed to the credit card. In any case, we were very disappointed, also with the statements made, and will book other hotels/accommodations in the future. There's nothing like a friendly, personal welcome at a hotel reception and a beautifully furnished room with a clean bathroom. The holiday day starts differently. Weeks later, the owner contacted me again via WhatsApp and said that it had particularly bothered and annoyed him that we only returned the room key on the day of our planned departure and that this meant he had to rent out the room we had paid for but not occupied had escaped. In my opinion, this documented that it is not about making the guest happy, but about making money, no matter how. I don't have to do any further details about this!!!! Even sidelined!!!

Wir waren für eine Woche im Landgasthof im Urlaub. Die Aussicht vom Zimmer auf den Chiemsee war traumhaft. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und reichhaltig, es gab jeden Tag eine neue Überraschung. Der Inhaber ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Es war rundum schön und wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Wir waren zu einem Familientreffen für eine Nacht im Landgasthof. Das Zimmer war okay, der Blick über den See sehr schön, das Bad ist viel zu klein, man passt kaum in die Dusche, das Waschbecken mini. Das Wasser zum duschen wurde nicht warm. Für eine Nacht war es okay, aber für einen Urlaub nicht zu empfehlen. Kommunikation ließ auch zu wünschen übrig.

Preis/Leistung waren gut, aber auch Verbesserungsfähig. Positiv: - günstige Erreichbarkeit von der Autobahn - einfacher Check In - saubere Zimmer, Betten bequem - schöner Blick auf den Chiemsee - Frühstück hatte ich nicht gebucht - genügend kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeiten Verbesserungsfähig: - Dusche sehr klein, für etwas kräftigere Personen schwierig - Wasserdruck in der Dusche sehr gering - Das Wasser lief in der Dusche auch sehr langsam ab - für Geschäftsreisende wie mich, wäre ein Abendessen schön, leider wird das nicht angeboten, ich kenne Hotels, da gibt es zumindest 2 Essen zur Auswahl. So muss man leider nochmal wegfahren. - für Geschäftsreisende könnte der Schreibtisch etwas größer sein.

Ich musste aus geschäftlichen Gründen in der Nähe meines Einsatzortes schnell eine Unterkunft finden. Ich hatte Glück! Hier hat alles reibungslos und perfekt geklappt: schnelle Online-Kontaktaufnahme, reinliches Zimmer, gute Sanitäreinrichtung und funktionierende Technik (Fernseher, WLAN etc.). Kein unnötiger Schnickschnack und alles da, was man brauchte. Ich bin äußerst zufrieden!

Disaster food Wild goulash was advertised on the menu. When questioned, the cook said he didn't know whether it was game goulash. It was something indefinable - a truck probably ran over a wild boar. Full of bones, totally overcooked. In short: inedible!!!!!

Wir waren auf der durchreise und wollten in der nähe der Autobahn sein, aber auch nicht zu nah (ca. 4km von der abfahrt). Alles war bestens hier! Super Preis/Leistung! Unsere kleine Hündin war auch ganz Happy!

Alles war einfach toll, vor allem das ausgezeichnete Frühstück. Ein rundum schöner, authentischer und gleichzeitig moderner Gasthof mit Seeblick in einem niedlichen Dorf mit Kühen, Schafen und Hühnern. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut durch die freundlichen Gastgeber betreut.

Wir haben in dem schönen Landgasthof Hittenkirchen übernachtet und morgens dort gefrühstückt. Es war das beste Frühstück, dass wir je in einem Hotel gegessen haben. Da waren wir uns alle einig. Patrick hat jeden Morgen neue Köstlichkeiten gezaubert. Sehr vieles selbstgemacht, nur Produkte aus der Region, Bioqualität, dazu tolles Porzellan und einen wunderbaren Blick über den Chiemsee. Einen schöneren Start für den Tag kann es nicht geben....

Übernachtung auf dem Weg in den Urlaub. Sehr gut und ruhig gelegen, nette Mitarbeiter, saubere Zimmer und nahe am Chiemsee.

Christmas dinner with the whole family, a complete disaster. It took almost 4 hours for 7 courses. Although all the corridors had already been clarified beforehand and had been fixed for weeks. The food didn't come really hot, and the taste wasn't for everyone. The kitchen was by no means prepared otherwise it would have worked. The service wasn't particularly good either; although the staff was very friendly, they seemed quite untrained. Conclusion: We cannot recommend this restaurant. Price/performance is by no means correct.

Übernachtung im DZ m. Gartenblick. Wirklich schöne und originelle Einrichtung im alten Bauernhaus. Einfacher Checkin m. Schlüssel im Safe an d. Außentür. Sehr ruhige Umgebung m. viel Natur. 5 Autominuten zum Chiemsee.

Ein Ort zum Entschleunigen für ein paar Tage oder auch als Stop-Over aufm Weg in den Urlaub. Morgens in geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmern, mit Blick über den Chiemsee, erwachen und mit einem reichhaltigen und qualitativen Frühstück in den Tag starten.

Ganz unvorbereitet ein kleines kulinarisches Juwel gefunden... Da wir noch von bayrischer gut bürgerlicher Küche ausgegangen sind-was es vorher war-waren wir erst ein wenig skeptisch, was wir wählen sollten. Die Speisekarte war übersichtlich an Gerichten, aber das was zur Auswahl stand war mega. Wir entschieden uns gegen ein 3-oder 5-Gängemenü, da immer noch leicht skeptisch... Und wählten Rippchen, mit hauseigenen Pommes und Rotkrautsalat, sowie einer Bouillabaisse mit heimischen Chiemseefischen und einen Nachtisch zum teilen. Es war ein Fest, ein wirklich unglaublich gutes geschmackliches Essen. Preislich völlig in Ordnung, aufgrund der hohen Qualität absolut gerechtfertigt. Probiert es aus, es ist wirklich toll! Wir werden im nächsten Urlaub sicher wieder einkehren. Toll fand ich auch, daß Servieren in den alten goldumrandeten Schüsseln oder die Pommes in der Sauciere...und die liebevoll gestaltete Terasse.

Das war kulinarisch herausragend. Regionale Produkte, kreativ zubereitet, zu einem angemessenen Preis und serviert mit höchstem Grad an Respekt und Freundlichkeit. Wir werden es bestimmt weiterempfehlen und freuen uns auf ein baldiges Wiederkommen 😊👌
