Yesterday was our first time at the mill, but definitely not our last! 👍 It's so nice that a place like this still exists. A pub like the ones I remember and love from my youth – no frills, no fuss. The very friendly and attentive staff also deserve special mention. The food arrived very quickly after we ordered. As I said, excellent service. Highly recommended. Thank you, please stay just as you are and leave everything as it is.

We spontaneously decided to eat there today after a short hike. It was a bit busy, but they still managed to get us a small table. The service was incredibly friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended, although a reservation is definitely advisable for larger groups.

Everyone enjoyed the family meal with children and grandchildren; each dish was truly delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive; we would be happy to come back.

One of the few traditional inns, and that in every respect. The surroundings and location are simply beautiful. The food is traditional and very tasty. An extensive snack menu with everything you need. Many items are made in-house. Attentive staff and always friendly. Tip: Just go there.

There are very beautiful paths to the country inn. It is beautifully situated in a valley with a stream running through it. The mill wheel is in operation. The terrace is a pleasant place to sit and enjoy views over the valley and all the way to the forests. They offer delicious homemade sausage to take away. The portions are reasonable for the price.

We've been visiting this country inn from time to time for 15 years. The food has always been excellent. We enjoy the mill's beautiful location time and time again. We can recommend it at any time and are always happy to return.

The meat on the grill was perfectly prepared. Getting different degrees of doneness on the plate at the same time is almost impossible. Everything was perfect here. We wanted to make a reservation in advance, but the owner was very busy and asked us to call back later. This was a smart solution and better than losing the reservation. The ambiance was also very stylish. We felt welcome at all times.

Beautifully situated in a small valley, overlooking the wooded hills of the Odenwald. The restaurant offers delicious food and friendly staff.

A beautiful, idyllic spot. Very quiet, with a small stream that turns the mill wheel, where little guests can splash and cool off. The staff is truly friendly and remains calm even in stressful situations. You receive attentive service and, as is becoming increasingly common, you don't have to fetch your food yourself... The clientele is very diverse: young couples, older people, hikers, cyclists, and bikers. There's a very open atmosphere. And then there's the food: the world's best schnitzel, pan-fried with a delicious breading, accompanied by a delicious homemade sauce and salad variations that leave nothing to be desired. The guests at the other tables were also enthusiastic and said they would definitely come back. I will definitely do so and can give it a definite thumbs up.

When I consider that I first hiked here almost 55 years ago as a small peg from the school camp down the stream, and that this beautifully located inn still exists, that's great in today's gastronomic crisis. We were just doing something to quench our thirst, but the dishes look so delicious that we'll definitely come here to eat when we're in the area again. Promised!

We ate at the mill for the first time today...the location of the restaurant is idyllically located in a hiking area...the restaurant makes a clean impression, with a simple ambience...the food was good to average...due to the... However, we expected a different level of positive reviews, especially since the prices are a little higher... unfortunately the price/performance ratio was not there for us...

A really great upscale restaurant surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The waitresses are very friendly and they serve great food to the table. ;-) There were a bit few spaetzles on the plate but we got a couple straight away when we were told. All in all, a great dinner in a cozy atmosphere.

Im Landgasthof Zur Mühle bekommt man wirklich sehr gutes gutbürgerliches Essen in einer großen Auswahl. Wir gehen mit Familie und Kollegen dort immer wieder gerne hin, weil auch die Lage sehr idyllisch ist, man könnte im Schwarzwald sein, und das mitten im Odenwald. Unsere Empfehlung sind das Zwiebelschnitzel, die Bratwürste, die Spinatknödel und die Grünkernküchle. Nicht zu vergessen die leckeren Spätzle, die unsere Kinder nach wie vor lieben. Für uns alles Top - wir kommen immer wieder gerne!

During a spontaneous visit without a reservation, the waitress assigned us a table, and after a short time a strange man was also seated at our table (without asking us). But it didn't bother us until he started saying some stupid things to the waiter about his food (cordon bleu too small, salad unnecessary, number of ice cream balls from the dessert). But the waitress lost her calm and countered at times (she obviously knew the regular customer). All food and drinks were consumed quickly, with the person sitting next to us who arrived later getting their food first, strange time management. But our food came a few minutes later and tasted perfect, the quantity was sufficient and the price was also ok. At lunchtime all the seats outside in the beer garden were occupied, so reservations are recommended. The country inn is located away from the main routes and can be reached via a "rustic" road, the location in the valley is beautiful!

Completely secluded location in Höllgrund. Bread, butter, cider and meat and sausage are made in-house. In summer you can sit outside nicely. Even now, at the beginning of October, the outside was still open. The cuisine is down-to-earth and price-worthy. Nice service.

Today we ate here for the first time. The weather was so nice that we were able to sit outside. Wow, what a great view. It almost felt like you were in the Shire from Lord of the Rings! The service was very friendly and on the ball, the food came surprisingly quickly and was super tasty! Moderate prices with good quality - it's definitely not the last time we've been here!

Went there for lunch today - super friendly staff. I ate pork loin steak gratinated with black pudding, steamed onions and a dollop of apple sauce. It tasted super delicious. If I eat here again, it will definitely be the same again. Stop by and try it

Gutes Essen schnell serviert. Etwas hochpreisig, aber man kann sich ja vorher informieren. Das Ambiente ist der einer alten Gastwirtschaft

Durch Zufall sind wir auf das Restaurant aufmerksam geworden. Da es sehr ländlich liegt, muß man mit engen Straßen bei der Anfahrt rechnen. Das Restaurant ist wunderschön in einem Tal gelegen, mitten im Grünen. Muß bei Wanderern und Radfahrer sehr beliebt sein, es waren viele da. Das Essen war sehr gut und auch wenn die Preise vielleicht etwas höher sind, fanden wir es nicht zu teuer. Das Wirtshaus merken wir uns, da gehn wir jetzt öfter hin. Absolute Weiterempfehlung.

Ich hatte von dem Lokal von Bekannten gehört. Unsere Cordon Bleus waren ziemlich klein, geschmacklich ok. Hatte mir aber mehr versprochen. Lage des Restaurants ist etwas abgelegen aber schön. Schöner Außenbereich zum sitzen.
