Landgasthaus Hennies in Elze

We recently had dinner at the country inn. There was duck. The food was also absolutely delicious, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The ambience seemed like a country house style but a bit old-fashioned, but still cozy. The heating was via a fireplace, it wasn't cold but it wasn't nice and warm either, towards the end it got cooler and cooler. Unfortunately, the staff seemed totally overwhelmed, we waited forever for the ice cream at the bedside table, and the staff were completely overwhelmed when it came to taking the ice cream order. Which unfortunately wasn't good either, you can only pay in cash there, that's no longer up to date, there was no notice of this at the entrance, and there was also no card where you could look up prices. In the old fashioned way, everyone had a beer mat where the drinks were written down. At just under €85 for two people it was far too expensive for the service offered

Actually… a journey through time! In the early 80s. You can love that, because you can't find that atmosphere anymore today. This extends from the counter room to the guest room. The type and extent of the food is also a beautiful and warm memory.

A rustic country inn with tasty dishes (food like your mother's). Very !! recommended!!!

I ate cutlet with mushrooms and fried potatoes. It was very good and also a lot.

Un lugar muy acogedor. Sobre todo guardan las normas en esta época. Cuentan con Salones amplios y su decoración es especial. Sus Platos y Gastronomía especial y muy rica. Tiene un hermoso jardín.

Super Grünkohl.Brägenwust und Bratkartoffel sehr lecker.

Die Gaststätte ist ja wie in einer guten Stube eingerichtet, alles bestens, wir hatten nur Sitzung, hatten nur Getränke, ich kenne die Gastgeber schon länger, da wurde auf dem Saal gefeiert, einfach Spitze....ALLES....👍👍👍

Wir gehen seit ein paar Jahren zum Entenessen zu Hennies, wer da hungrig nach Hause geht ist selber Schuld. Super lecker, mehr als reichlich und alles aus eigener Zucht! Ein sehr großes Lob an Familie Hennies, auch für die herzliche, familiäre Atmosphäre! 👍

Wir waren mit einer kleinen Gesellschaft zur konfirmationsfeier dort. Der Service war super und das Essen noch besser! Die Suppe war lecker, das Fleisch zart, die Soße würzig und es gab auch vielfältiges Gemüse. Alles in allem einfach köstlich. Die Atmosphäre war rustikal. Es kam einem vor, als würde man bei der Großmutter zum Sonntagsessen sein. Ich kann diese Gaststätte in jedem fall weiterempfehlen!
