We were allowed to be guests at the Brandenburg Landgasthaus today! The food was great, super tender meat and the portions, you don't need to say anything about that. It goes without saying that if you can't make it, you'll be given packing material to take with you! The service was exceptionally friendly, they even took the time to put together a meal 😉👍🏻. The country inn is rustic but clean. It should also be mentioned that we were called back when we wanted to order the table but no one was there yet. We would love to come back and hope you stay as you are 🌟🌟🌟🌟 THANK YOU 🤩

The Landgasthaus Brandenburg is the perfect place for everyone who loves large and delicious schnitzels! Particularly known for its generous portions, this time I chose the Schnitzel Potpourri. You get three schnitzels, which are described as “small” but would easily pass as regular schnitzels in other restaurants. The special thing: Each schnitzel can be topped individually! The selection of toppings is impressive: from classic sauces such as gypsy sauce, mushroom cream sauce, pepper cream sauce or paprika cream sauce to baked versions with ham and cheese, tomato and cheese or broccoli with Béarnaise sauce - there is something for every taste here. Specialties such as the Brandenburg schnitzel (fresh mushrooms, braised onions and fried egg) or the Béarnaise schnitzel (fresh mushrooms gratinated with Béarnaise sauce) are also particularly interesting. I decided on a colorful mix and was thrilled with all the variations! Ambiance & Service The restaurant is cozy, although a bit old. The table decoration is rustic, but it fits with the country inn charm. The plates were partly damaged, but since they are large and heavy, this is probably due to long-term use - but of course this has no influence on the taste. Price-performance I paid €30.20 for my Schnitzel Potpourri and a Cola Zero - an absolutely fair price for the huge portion and the quality of the food. Tip: Be sure to reserve in advance as the restaurant is very busy! Conclusion If you're looking for really good schnitzels in XXL size and with a huge selection of toppings, you've come to the right place. The Landgasthaus Brandenburg impresses with its taste, portion size and fair prices. There are small deductions for the slightly worn furnishings and the damaged plates - but the food makes up for it all!

Have eaten here several times now. There was always super friendly staff on site. The food always tasted very good and the portions are insane... I like to eat schnitzel here. Keep it up 😊

We are there several times a year, absolutely great and friendly staff. Food is great and more than filling.

We were there on Sunday December 8th, 2024. We had originally reserved a table for eight people for 1:00 p.m. Unfortunately three people had to cancel at short notice. But that wasn't a problem in the restaurant. Nobody was mad. We were then given a smaller table, which was perfectly fine. Service was again great this time. The food tasted delicious so you can't complain. It was really great and I'll always come back

Placed the order and inspected the other plates. And thought: yeah, they look good. And then our plates came. OMG who is going to eat all that. It was super tasty and at the end you also get containers so you can take what you can't manage with you. So anyone who wants to eat great schnitzel is in good hands here. Super tasty and huge schnitzels. Very courteous and nice staff. The location in summer is definitely a hit, but in the autumn in the beer garden, it wasn't really our thing. Otherwise everything was great and definitely worth recommending.

We have been to the SCHNITZEL PARADIES Landgasthaus Brandenburg several times. And we have never been disappointed.🤤👍😀 Reservation can't hurt as it's quite busy. You should bring a good appetite as the large schnitzels are really big. By the way, the fries are really tasty. You can get the sauce afterwards.😀 And if you can't finish your schnitzel, it's easier to take with you.😁

Went there spontaneously after a long time, it still tastes just as good as it did back then =) The Potpourrir also gives you a good selection of sauces if you can't decide.

We called at short notice and got a table for 12 people through a competent person. We were extremely happy with the ambience of the country inn. My large schnitzel with cheese and ham gratinated tasted great and was unsurpassable in size. The employees were super nice. We've been enjoying going here for years when we feel like "schnitzel"... The large schnitzels are as big as a toilet seat! Since I need a little variety, I always take the potpourri, 3 medium schnitzels with a topping of your choice. The quality is very good, the food is consistently delicious. Price is right too, thumbs up. The beer garden could use a little more love, but that's complaining at a high level.

There were five of us at the inn for dinner - 2 adults and three children aged 10, 4 and 1 year. We wanted to sit inside because we were worried about the wasps. But that wasn't a problem and we were immediately assigned a table. We were the only guests IN the house at the time. There was a lot going on in the beer garden. The waiter, a young man, was very friendly and our orders were delivered quickly. The food also came really quickly. The food was great in terms of taste and quality!!! The children were also excited. However, further service was a disaster. A rather older woman (boss?) kept walking past our table and kept saying to a gentleman at the counter: "Well, we'll probably have to get a big broom"! She actually did this four times. Until I got up during dinner to pick up my 13-month-old daughter's dropped fries. I would have done it anyway, we always do it like that. But preferably after dinner, then I only have to do it once. Our four-year-old daughter ran around the back of the restaurant and looked at everything. Pictures, table decorations, etc. We thought it would be OK because there was no one in the restaurant except us and we had an eye on them. She was constantly greeted with a very strange "Helloooooo?" addressed. Of course she couldn't make any sense of it and we finally brought her back and sat her down at the table again. She didn't touch anything there or bother other people. She was just curious 🤷 We actually disappeared very quickly after eating there and unfortunately we won't be coming back. It's a shame because the food was really good!!!

The location of the restaurant is far from the beaten track, as they say, but makes it relatively pleasant if you want to eat in peace and in the countryside. The portions are really huge, you shouldn't have eaten all day. The taste and appearance can be improved, I've eaten a lot of Cordon Bleu and unfortunately this was the worst. Price wise it's okay considering the size. The ambience is nothing special, but the heat builds up quickly and there is no air conditioning. There is also a small beer garden outside.

Great inn in the middle of the green in Essen Burgaltendorf. The schnitzels are unbeatably large and the selection is also extensive. Unfortunately there was no dessert🤔 but most people can hardly manage the schitzel😅. I would say I would happily recommend going!!!

We had a wonderful Friday evening at the Landgasthaus Brandenburg. Together with friends we enjoyed delicious schnitzel and a freshly tapped Stauder. The quality of the food was excellent – ​​crispy breading, juicy meat and the portions were more than sufficient. "Small" schnitzel with spaetzle + schnitzel potpourri (recommended) - not possible in terms of quantity... maybe lower the prices and make smaller portions, then you wouldn't have to give so many (sometimes plastic) "dog bags"... We went there by bike from Gelsenkirchen, based on a recommendation. First of all I would like to say that the food was great. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is known for its schnitzels. If I'm honest, the seating was worn out. You had to make sure you didn't fall with the chairs. Very cheap garden chairs, no cushions. The place is very old and rancid. Not at all nice or comfortable. Honor came down. Wouldn't go there in bad weather. The bike tour there was great, the food was great too, but we probably won't come back.

Too many drinks were booked on our table. Despite the good tip, I would soon have paid more. The food isn't particularly good. The portions are huge. Unfortunately, you can't enjoy the beautiful view that the good location promises.

I was in this restaurant again after a few years because I remembered really delicious giant schnitzels with delicious sauces. Unfortunately, now only the schnitzels are quite good, although of course skin-thin, but heavily breaded. The sauces are all so stretched and elongated that they no longer taste like much. The gypsy sauce, for example, was significantly worse than in any other chip shop. A pity! The currywurst wasn't fried, just boiled and had probably been in the sauce for a long time, so you didn't have to chew it anymore. The price-performance ratio for the schnitzels, which you can easily eat for two days, is still very good. The service was quick and attentive. I think that's why the store is doing so well. If the same food were available in normal portions at normal prices, the customers would quickly leave and the ratings wouldn't be as high.
