Traditional Swabian inn, excellent quality & very attentive service.

We went there for a birthday dinner on September 15, 2025, and there were six of us. We were very impressed with the service and the food was delicious. Very satisfied with the price/performance ratio. We'd be happy to come back.

Nice ambiance (despite only having artificial flowers on the table). The noise level was perfectly acceptable, even when it was busy. There was plenty of space (the seats were quite comfortable) and it was peaceful. The staff was friendly and attentive. There doesn't seem to be a drinks and dessert menu. At least, we didn't have one. We ordered what we had when we asked. For the price (which is rather high compared to other places), I definitely won't be ordering the food again. Everything looked nicely presented on the plate, and both the food and the plates were at a comfortable temperature. Unfortunately, the fries were so extremely hard that it spoiled the experience (this was also mentioned when paying). In contrast, the meat was nice and tender, cooked medium as ordered. The side dishes and the sauce were tasty. The cutlery was also inadequate. The knives were so dull that they struggled even with a perfectly cooked filet. The forks were useless, which was certainly due to the hard fries. I don't need to go there for dinner again. Maybe I'll drop by again sometime in the summer for a drink on the terrace when I'm in the area. It looks quite nice.

Delicious food at unbeatable prices, and the place is always packed at lunchtime. If you definitely want a table, it's best to reserve a table 🙂
