Laimers in München

I recently had lunch at Laimers Wirtshaus and it was great. The lunch menu offers a good selection of delicious dishes, and the food tasted very good. The beer garden is particularly nice and is really inviting when the weather is nice. Domi, the innkeeper, creates a great atmosphere with his friendly manner and makes the stay even more pleasant. The service was quick and attentive. I'll definitely be back, especially when the weather is nice and you can sit in the beer garden!

Really nice inn, never been here as a Munich resident. Very tasty roast pork . Little tip: the skin actually resembles chicharron from Mexico

Great restaurant with a good vegan selection - only a vegan dessert is missing. Otherwise great: various vegan bowls and salads, but also delicious curry and a vegan Bolognese. The soups are super tasty and are actually enough as a main course. Service was very friendly and competent: when something got mixed up with the order, we were invited for a coffee at the end. Always my pleasure

All ages and types of customers are represented here, the food is delicious and we look forward to our next visit.

We really enjoy going there. However, more because of the beautiful beer garden and the nice waiters and atmosphere than because of the food. The food is usually good but the price/performance ratio is not right.

Roast pork was very dry. The burger meat wasn't freshly prepared either. It was very loud in there because of the large, high rooms. Because of the good reviews, we were expecting at least more from the food, but even that was unfortunately disappointing.

Unfortunately I can't give such a great review overall: The food is nothing special, I had to add seasoning both times I've been here, even though I don't usually eat that spicy food. I found the service to be mixed. Some waitresses are very polite, friendly and accommodating, with others you have the feeling that you have to be careful... then an order doesn't come quickly enough and people snort and roll their eyes; or when the drinks are brought and you order another light one because you ran out of it in the meantime, you can prepare yourself for some shit as to why you didn't order at the same time as the others. Well, I don't want to send anyone back and forth unnecessarily, but if you don't feel like doing the job, then you just shouldn't do it. My opinion. It's also loud in the store, so it's difficult to have a comfortable conversation. All in all, there are a lot of taverns in Laim and Pasing where you will definitely be served better than here.

A wonderful restaurant! It looks nondescript from the outside, but is a hidden gem. It has a modern and clean environment, the staff is helpful and nice, and the food is delicious! I had a goat-cheese-bowl, which was totally worth it for the price. I would definitely go here again!

Anything you want ....warm and fresh

The Laimers is the perfect all-rounder. Here you can have a very good and extensive breakfast but also eat very well for lunch and dinner. The Mexican Burger and the Breznschnitzel are highly recommended. The insider tip for breakfast is whole grain bread. Good long drinks and cocktails are also offered. There is also a very comfortable outdoor area. The staff is well-coordinated, very friendly and helpful. Finally: you can get a very good espresso martini here.

Went there quite spontaneously with 2 children. Get a table straight away. The staff was very friendly, the food was fantastic, as was the ambience. The price is absolutely fair. We were thrilled and can only recommend it.

I can only agree with Vito. Splendid restaurant very close to the a&o hostel where we slept for two nights. Maximum ten minutes on foot. Modern place, very kind staff and abundant and really delicious dishes. In the photo two soups, one based on chestnuts, divine, and one based on pumpkin and ginger, equally delicious. Spectacular venison goulash, with a cocoa aftertaste with cheese spatzle, cranberries and slightly acidic stewed onion. Some chicken cutlets with the same spatzle and two mega double hamburger sandwiches that my boys really liked. Munchen hell beer is light and easy to drink, slightly fruity on the finish, sweets and digestives crowned a three days that I will remember with pleasure not only for the beauties of the city but also thanks to this truly unique restaurant. Special thanks to the room service guys who do their job really well, despite having the menu only in German, when they realized that we were having some difficulties, they sent us a waitress who spoke Italian very well. When it comes to luck and attention to the customer. Thanks guys. Excellent value for money. Seven of us had dinner €33 each. If you pass through Munich you can't miss it. Bon appetit😋😋

Coming from Agnes-Bernauer-Straße you don't immediately see the Laimers. But if you come from Landsberger Straße you take Agricolastr. taking straight to it, can't miss it. Even from the outside there is a beautiful ambience that arouses curiosity. Inside there are various areas with a nice “tavern atmosphere”. It's really easy to sit and eat (if you're not sitting under a ventilation fan). The selection of food (including vegans, of course), drinks and, to highlight, cocktails leaves something for everyone. But the best thing is that you can have a nice meal here - before or after a visit to the "Neues Rex" cinema. This is how “small cinemas become really big”. Highly recommended! And when the weather is nice, outside in the beer garden, surrounded by beautiful old buildings.

Service and ambience as well as the dishes were very good. I can only recommend a visit to Laimers. We celebrated our Christmas party here and were satisfied!

The Laimers is always a good place to go for food and drinks, we had schnitzel very tasty, unfortunately all the tables were reserved, but after asking when a table would be reserved later, we agreed with the waitress. 1.5 hours until reservation is enough to eat one star Deduction from the ambience because there is little sound-absorbing material, for example. Curtains tapestry is present and therefore quite loud and echoes in the restaurant just go there

Reservations recommended for Thursday evening, the two of us only found a place on standing stools at the bar. Classic burger with wedges not recommended. The meat tasted tough and the wedges stuck together. Ketchup was available in portions from a plastic bag. This is better with the Golden M, at a much lower price.

Good menu and friendly service.

Our service person who served us was named Anthony. Incredibly friendly, accommodating and funny. The Lord really sweetened our evening. Also worth mentioning was Max. Also a service person. A professional through and through. Incredibly quick and attentive. The food was very good. My wife and I both ordered burgers. She the classic cheeseburger and I the western. Was a ten out of ten. Beforehand she had a parsnip apple soup. Please definitely try it. I can only recommend it because the package is simply perfect. Keep it up

Always cozy, top service and delicious food!

Always enjoy coming here for brunch. There are various breakfast creations. My favorite meal is Los Angeles breakfast. There is also a varied lunch menu. The cappuccino here is also one of my all-time favorites: strong aroma and smooth on the palate! In summer you can also sit nicely in the beer garden. The only drawback: it can get very loud inside when there is a lot going on.

I ate there during my visit to Munich. I'm not a restaurant professional, but everything runs smoothly there. There were probably over 10 of us and we all got our food at the same time. Even taking the order was done in no time. You probably have to deliver a performance like that if you run a restaurant in Munich. My vegetarian red curry was delicious. Beer garden top. I can only recommend it.

Extremely wide menu (Thai curry, burgers; Bavarian, tarte flambée, bowls, etc. Everyone can find something) - you guessed it, so the food is, diplomatically speaking, only mediocre. We've eaten a lot here, but it stays that way. Great for drinking in the beer garden or indoors. Wide audience from young to old as well as families with kids (playground available!), very great atmosphere and super-great service staff! That's why the location is always full!

Always nice, you can sit outside in the shade in summer. Next to Laimer's Rex cinema, so eat and drink well after going to the cinema.

This time our visit left a pretty disappointing aftertaste. Shameful for a restaurant/waitress not to take an allergy to hazelnuts seriously and not to clearly mark it on the menu. Personally, I react to hazelnuts with an allergic shock in the same way as many other people! In the worst case scenario, this can be quite dangerous. 1-2 nuts in my bowl were hazelnut shaped. The behavior of the waitress when I asked whether there were hazelnuts in the bowl was unfriendly, indifferent, disrespectful and not okay. The Laimers wouldn't mind accommodating me in any way, even if only with a little understanding and kind words or actions, e.g. bringing me the bowl again without (hazel) nuts. At this point I've completely lost my appetite...!

I've been to several beer gardens in Munich and what can I say? After many disappointments, I was finally shown again that it is possible to get delicious German food. All the waitresses were very polite and I felt very comfortable. I will definitely come back. Thanks!

Favorite restaurant! Top service, where the question of whether it was good is taken seriously and criticism is gladly accepted and passed on to the kitchen. In probably more than 100 visits I have complained about something maybe 3 times and the reaction from the staff was always courteous and appropriate. In my opinion one of the best restaurants in Munich!

Great beer garden right next to the Neues Rex cinema, highly recommended before or after visiting the cinema Accessible by public transport and on foot, it is not directly on the main street but in the middle of the residential area. The associated restaurant is modern but simple, only the toilet still needs optimization in terms of cleaning, otherwise it would be okay The menu is not overloaded and the young team is attentive and friendly. If there is too much demand, you may be a bit overwhelmed, but that will definitely happen. No master has fallen from heaven yet Conclusion: Perfect location to enjoy a beautiful day in peace and comfort!

Super Service, tolles Ambiente und sehr leckeres Essen. Zusätzlich zu der normalen Karte gibt es eine Wochenkarte mit sehr guten Gerichten. Wir hatten die Ofenkartoffeln, Ceasar Salad und die Lachs-Ravioli von der Wochenkarte. Alles war super Lecker und die Kellner, auch bei unseren Kindern, sehr geduldig!

Locally very good, beer garden nice but not very innovative. Burgers are great, bowls are delicious but the bowl is quite clear. The service is not worth writing about.

Very nice service and really good food. A tiny deduction because of the acoustics in the restaurant. It's very reverberant, a little sound-absorbing interior would be good...

So then I'll describe this evening. Four of us ate and drank there. My Almschnitzel was as dry as the sole of a shoe and my son's wedding soup was simply tipped over and therefore inedible. The whole thing was then garnished by a service worker who was more upset about people complaining about unhealthy food than apologizing for the fact that it ended up on the table. Thank you, I won't be coming back here again.

We often have lunch here when we have jobs nearby. There is enough space and there is enough for everyone from brunch to lunch 😀

We made a reservation for a Friday evening, which was a good thing because it got pretty full...service was super nice...the food was delicious...the Aperol spritz could have had a little more Aperol in it...but that That's complaining on a high level (I didn't want to get drunk)...price wise it's ok for Munich (I had the cheeseburger, an Aperol spritz, a large water (0.75) and the chocolate soufflè for dessert and was short Paid 40 €) ...easy to reach on foot from Laimer train station (according to maps a little less than 900 meters). I would love to come back...

The food was really tasty and so were the drinks, the service was a bit inattentive and close to rude, but not all of them, inside and outside it was very nice and pleasant, it wasn't overly full of guests either!

I have enjoyed going to Laimers for more than 30 years. The food is delicious, the team is extremely nice and the rooms are modern but comfortable. And in the summer it's wonderful to sit in the beer garden...

I reserved a table to come for lunch and the service was extremely slow. No one greeted me when I arrived. The waiter didn't serve me until I got up to get it, and he served people who arrived after me first. The meal took an inordinate amount of time. The food is good but the service is a disaster.
