There were two of us eating and the price-performance ratio was really okay, the starter was excellent and the pizzas were a dream, the restaurant was full and we waited about 40 minutes for the pizza but it was really tasty and I'm happy to wait for quality. The service, however, was on the ball and always friendly on our next visit to Neu Ulm. 1 star deducted for the ambience as there are nicer rooms

My friend and I went there for dinner on Friday evening. We really liked it, so we decided to eat there again the next day. Werner, the landlord is super friendly and personable and prepares a super delicious pizza!

Totally inflexible. Not good service.

Staff very rude. After making reservations for a group of 19 people two weeks in advance, we were unfortunately disappointed. Tables were not prepared for us, we all had to sit apart and after we asked to push the tables together OURSELVES, we were not met at all and in the end we were even recommended another restaurant. Apparently this restaurant doesn't need it.

Great pizza, especially the dough, which is very easy to digest compared to the usual ones. Very friendly, but unfortunately, due to staff shortages, it can sometimes take a little longer, but other restaurants with more staff often don't do any better. Small but excellent selection, and with special requests, you can get almost anything. We've been very satisfied every time.

First of all: We had a wonderful evening with excellent food thanks to LaCantera! We are so excited that we are happy to drive 30 minutes just to be served the best pizza I have ever eaten in Germany! We spontaneously looked for a restaurant and even though it was busy, the owner was extremely friendly and happy to accommodate any special requests. The place may not be the fanciest, but the ambience is perfectly fine. Now to the best part: As mentioned at the beginning, the pizza is incredible and second to none. The dough alone is so delicious that you'll love eating just the edge. If I could have given 6 stars for the food, I would have done so without hesitation. The owner is very attentive and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of service. We were very impressed with the service and especially the food. I can only find words of praise for the starter and dessert, as I already said, we are completely satisfied and will 100% come back! The price-performance ratio is also outstanding. You rarely pay such prices for dinner. Thank you for the wonderful evening yesterday and also for the nice conversations with the owner!

The owner was alone on site and unfortunately everything seemed very disorganized. There were things everywhere and the entire bar was overloaded with bottles. Fortunately, after we ordered directly at the counter, it went very quickly. Guests sitting on the terrace weren't so lucky - the waiter didn't show up there for about an hour, and some guests brought their own plates back, as you would at a fast food restaurant. The food was ok but only pizza as the other dishes from the menu were not available. The prices are relatively cheap, but my tip would be to increase the prices by one euro and hire an additional employee. The store definitely has potential, but lacks the organization and service staff to fully utilize it.

Das LaCantera in Neu-Ulm hat mich begeistert! Besonders die Pizza ist ein absolutes Highlight – man schmeckt sofort, dass der Teig mit viel Liebe selbst gemacht wird. Die perfekte Mischung aus knusprig und fluffig macht jede Pizza zu einem Genuss. Die frischen Zutaten und die sorgfältige Zubereitung zeigen die Liebe zum Detail in jedem Gericht. Auch der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, was den Besuch zu einem rundum gelungenen Erlebnis macht. Wer authentische, handgemachte Speisen in gemütlichem Ambiente sucht, ist hier genau richtig! The food was delicious and the owner was very friendly. The prices are very fair and the food was really good. The salad was plentiful and fresh, and the pizza was so delicious that even my picky son ate the crust. I can really only recommend it.

He put his laptop on the table for us so that we could watch the European Championship game live! Rarely have I seen such a friendly owner!

Completely inconspicuous from the outside, really cozy inside. We wanted to have something to eat with the family shortly before the Florian Zimmer Magic Show. According to the boss, the cook wasn't there that evening. He could only offer us pizza. It was awesome - only fresh ingredients and served quickly. Really delicious. Big compliment and gladly again.

Chemical smell in the store. Looks like it was freshly painted. But it is not. Christmas decorations in February. The pizza was tasteless and more cookie than pizza. Way too long in the oven. The salmon dish wasn't good either. I have to praise the coffee. That was really good. But otherwise I wouldn't go there again.

The best beef fillet steak I have ever eaten and at the age of 60 I have already eaten a lot, other dishes are great too. Wonderful fries 🍟 freshly prepared, you can forget about the fast food from the others. You have to wait a bit but you will be rewarded with very tasty food. Typical bar atmosphere with South American music 🎶 sounds. Highly recommended. We didn't let a few negative reviews put us off and we were rewarded for it.

Top Essen zu guten Preisen. Komme gerne wieder

Vermutlich aufgetaute Massenware, schade. Leider nicht besonders lecker. Frisches Gemüse usw selbst angebraten oder gedünstet wäre mal eine Idee. Aber die Preise sprechen schon mal dagegen, die sind okay und auch der Service war in Ordnung. Wegen des Essens war dies jedoch der erste und letzte Besuch.

Wollten erst zum Diner im Dietrichs Kino,da war dann Essensaufnahme-Stop. Sind dann kurzerhand hier her gegangen. Was soll ich sagen Essen tipp topp - gibts nichts! Preis - Leistung topp in Ordnung. Gehen jetzt immer hierher vor oder nach dem Kino.

Schlimmer wie der Schwimmbadkiosk! Absolut keine Empfehlung.

We zijn hier met 9 Personen geweest, van 16 tot 66 jaar. We hebben allemaal ontzettend gesmuld van de gerechten die we uitgekozen hadden. Iedereen was enthousiast. Ook werden we nog verleid tot een geweldig toetje; choco-kaffe-creme of zo, een heerlijke mouse. Kosten zijn in vergelijking met andere restaurants met dezelfde kwaliteit een stuk betaalbaarder. Ontzettend leuke gastheer en dus ook een geweldige kok. Wat ons betreft voor herhaling vatbaar, een echte aanrader. En we zijn hier alleen gekomen doordat de gastheer bij Hotel Oranje een hork is en er geen glutenvrije gerechten aangeboden werden in het hotel. Zo zie je maar weer, even verder kijken is vaak de moeite waard.

Immer wieder ein Besuch wert. Die beste Küche, der beste Service... Immer wieder gerne.

Hebben er vanavond met een groep gegeten. Een klein restaurantje met bijpassende kaart maar het eten was echt voortreffelijk! Ook glutenvrij is hier mogelijk. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Een echte aanrader wat mij betreft.

Ein sehr kleines gemütliches lokal. Einer der besten Pizzen sie ich je gegessen habe. Sehr frisch und nicht trocken. Manchmal dauert das Essen etwas, aber im großen und ganzen ein sehr sehr toller Inhaber. Die Mittagskarte ist preislich sehr gut.

Waren im Rahmen eines Firmenevents in 2022 dort. Die Servierten Speisen waren lecker, die Getränke auch. Das Personal hat unter dem spontanen Ansturm von 100 Gästen etwas Federn gelassen, ich gehe aber davon aus, dass unter normalen Bedingungen alles gut geht.

Came mainly for the bar aspect as advertised outside, had no cocktails at all, and was pretty unfriendly when asking about the lack of them. Might be too much to ask but from a place that advertises itself as a bar and has a bar as its main centre piece I expect at least the bare minimum of the most common cocktails.

Hier sollte jeder mal gewesen sein. Bestes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, jedes Gericht mega-lecker, man kann einfach nichts falsch machen. Wir haben das Restaurant nach den Bewertungen ausgesucht. Leider darf man die auch nicht trauen. Es waren ca 6 Gäste da, dennoch dauerte zwei Lasagnen über eine Stunde. Das Essen war dennoch lecker. Der Raum ist sehr dunkel und leblos. Wir hatten uns leider mehr erwartet.

Wer ein schönen Abend haben will ob kleinen Veranstaltungen oder Romantisches Candellight dinner zu humanen Preisen ist hier genau richtig. Kinderfreundlich sehr gute Küche egal ob Mittagstisch oder Abendessen. Es ist kein schnell Restaurant mit einem Koch der weiß was er tut.

Leider hat sich der erste wenig positive Eindruck der lieblosen Einrichtung dann beim Verhalten der unfreundlichen männlichen Servicekraft bestätigt. Schon als wir in der Tür standen ohne ein hallo oder lächeln „haben Sie reserviert?!“ und als wir dann die Karten bekamen die kurze Erklärung dass es auf der einen A4 Seite nur noch das (eine) Gericht gäbe und auf der nächsten Seite nur noch diese beiden. Als dann die Antwort auf unsere Frage, ob auch mit Karte bezahlt werden könne mit „wenn ich Zeit habe“ beantwortet wurde sind wir aufgestanden und in ein anderes Restaurant gegangen. Für so etwas muss man kein Geld ausgeben.

Just ok restaurant to visit before movies 100m away. Basic non-surprising but tasty food. Soup of the day Steinpilzen and from list the sesamsalmon (not catch of the day but still juicy). One hour is tight if any other customers.
