La Vita in Weiden i.d.OPf.

Unfriendly service. Pizza tastes bland, pizza base is tough. Extra garlic was on the bill, but it wasn't on the pizza. Scalloppine al Limone - what reminded of lemon was the core. Not the taste. In the end it was “cash only”. Nobody pointed this out at the beginning. "Forget". No thanks - we won't go there anymore.

Very good service and good food. There were four of us there with a reservation. Gladly again!

Apart from the rather unfriendly and quickly overwhelmed service, there is nothing to complain about. To this day we ask ourselves what is so difficult about correctly noting 2 pizzas and 1 pasta and then bringing them accordingly. She seemed very annoyed. Otherwise still the best Italian menu in Weiden!!

Went there several times, the food was cold and we had to wait for more than an hour and there weren't any of the dishes and drinks that were on the menu. Staff was extremely unfriendly. When we paid we were yelled at because there was no tip. Not recommended!

Very unfriendly service, one lady does everything, two others stand around and chat. Waited 1/2 hour for the menu, the pizza was extremely greasy. Then I wanted to pay by card, the card machine was defective. This should have been pointed out beforehand, not everyone always has cash with them. Dirty table, way too loud, chairs were wet. Overall, an absolute disgrace. Never again.

Terrible, unfriendly!! Food was okay. We also got the food on time and were invisible to the wait staff after we got the food. We called or waved 3-5 times that we would like to pay. She looked at us and ignored us. We ended up waiting half an hour until she finally came and we could pay. I left some pasta left and she commented, “You didn’t eat much.” ——so what?? why does such a statement have to be —— When we answered “yes” to her question about whether we would like to pay separately, she rolled her eyes and made an annoyed sound. We didn't tip much because we didn't think the service warranted it. The waitress then said that next time we should cook at home or shop at the supermarket if we tip so little!!! This sentence shocked us and we didn't know what to say to it. That's it for us with La Vita... what a shame

Ambience loveless Service completely overwhelmed...she was alone Food was better... the salad had better days and my son had two hairs in his food... it's a real shame, we always liked going here but the price-performance ratio is no longer right at all... We had to wait an hour after eating so that we could finally pay the waitress paid attention to us again

Took far too long, eaten food in 5 minutes but waited 1:30 hours.

Ordered pizza and was told I could pick it up in 15-20 minutes. After 30 minutes I arrive and no one knew about the pizza I ordered. Unfortunately, it has happened several times before

We waited 1.5 hours for our food. Unfortunately in vain. Asked twice. The service seemed overwhelmed and couldn't tell us why the food didn't come. Was the last time we were here. It hasn't been running smoothly here for a long time.

Very rude staff presumably as we were English speaking. Kicked us out despite having a reservation then after checking with the host got re seated only to have every part of the order messed up (which again I can only assume is intentional at that point). There are lots of good Italian restaurants here, I won’t be visiting this one again

Very very unfriendly service. Four of us had dinner. When we wanted to pay, the waitress decided how to pay. It was half charged even though we said otherwise. When we received a small tip, we rolled our eyes and said in a very unfriendly tone "great, I can now buy a lollipop." That was definitely our last visit to La Vita!

We had a spontaneous meal there yesterday. Unfortunately we didn't have good experiences. It started with the fact that we had to wait over 15 minutes until a condition with menus came. He seemed pretty annoyed and was also pretty unfriendly. It took some time to take the order. (Other tables after us were accepted earlier) However, food came relatively quickly (the only plus point) We all had pasta dishes, some of which were served with rocket. Unfortunately it was rotten. When asked, the answer was “okay” with a pat on the shoulder. Unfortunately, the food itself didn't taste like anything. Sometimes there were peas and ham in one of the dishes that weren't supposed to be there according to the menu. Unfortunately, during the stay we didn't ask once if everything was okay or if we wanted to order anything else. Unfortunately, we had to wait more than 20 minutes to pay - even after asking several questions - because the waitress preferred to smoke several times in the meantime.

Will not return to La Bella Vita. The last time a group of friends and I dined there, the waitress lied and told they only accept cash whereas we had paid with card several times in the past including two weeks prior. Pizzas are mediocre - I’ve had much better in Italy and in the States (blasphemous, I know). This is primarily because the restaurant uses a poor quality pizza dough and/or yeast and overcooks the crust. Pastas are decent. All of this being said, the restaurant is in a nice location in the Weiden plaza and has a large amount of indoor and outdoor seating, so overall the atmosphere is good. I just wish they were honest about their cash/card policy.

Had a spontaneous lunch at La Vita yesterday. The service didn't work at all. We wanted to order cocktails and were only met with a “not today”. Well, you could have said that beforehand when we were given the cards. The food was quick and tasted good (the only plus point here). Our drinks were empty and we weren't asked if we wanted anything else. My plate, which still had half the pizza, was only asked if it could be taken away, and the eyes were rolled to "yes, but please pack it up." Then when my girls wanted to pay, it was too much for them to figure everything out at the table and they had to go in with me. Didn't say this in a friendly tone either. When they didn't give much or no tip for this service, they just complained about something "typically German". I was very disappointed because it was my JGA and I was really looking forward to delicious food and nice service and a great cocktail, as we used to know.

I always like to come back, nice service, excellent food and, on top of that, reduced prices for pizza and pasta on weekdays at lunchtime.

A lovely Italian restaurant in the heart of the Altstadt. A great view to watch life go by. The food was delicous, as was the wine. I had a wonderful dish of spaghetti baked with prawns in tomato sauce, all folded up into a swan shape in foil. It was utterly delicious. I lived in Napoli for 4 years and this was right up there with the wonderful taste of the south! The waitress who served us was quite busy, but she did a very very good job. Well done! We would return.

Service extremely bad, unfriendly. The bill wasn't correct, there were several items on it that we hadn't consumed. Insalata mista with completely wilted rocket. Gnocchi mediocre, totally inferior ham. Never again!

Sind angekommen, und haben gleich einen Platz bekommen, top. Kurz darauf wurden wir gleich gefragt was wir trinken wollen. Ich hatte mir einen alkoholfreien Cocktail ausgesucht und meine Freundin einen Wein. Wurde ich gleich gestoßen und energisch darauf hingewiesen dass es heute „keine Theke gibt“ (Freitag 21 Uhr am 10.05.24) und dass ich doch einen Wein trinken soll. Ich war Fahrer und lehnte dankend ab. Sie darauf „ich fahr auch und trinke Wein also nehmen sie einen Wein!“… (ich nahm eine saftschorle). Danach bestellten wir einen Salat welcher zu 70% aus hartem Dekosalat und Melone bestand. Als die Rechnung kam, lag der Betrag für mich bei 22,10€ ich zahlte mit 50€ und sie gab mir 27€ zurück, stieß mich wieder und forderte mich auf in ihren Geldbeutel zu sehen. Damit wollte sie mir zeigen, wie wenig Kleingeld sie doch hatte und dass sie mir auch gern nur 25€ geben hätte können. Zuerst sagte ich ziemlich verwirrt nur „ok“ , daraufhin nahm sie unsere LAMPE (?!?!) und unsere (noch gefüllten) Gläser mit und ging. -> ohne Licht, unzufrieden und verwirrt zurückgelassen:)

Very nice staff and delicious food. Something for young and old. Very nice atmosphere. Also suitable for celebrations. Marcello and his team are simply great. Always available for a quick chat. You just enjoy going there. The pizza is simply delicious. But the other dishes are also very good.

You wait for 2 hours only to get the wrong thing from the waiter and then be rudely told that he knows exactly what his guests have ordered

The only thing La Vita can score points with is the location and the ambience. Otherwise the service is unfriendly. But the restaurant owner tops it off with unfriendliness. The food is below average. We were there twice. Had the same experience every time. Was a waste of money.

Very tasty food, well presented, in a nice atmosphere. Food served after 15 minutes. Wine prices are reasonable and grappa on the house at the end.

Auf die Frage nach einem Tisch wurde uns barsch mitgeteilt wir sollen uns zu setzen wo Platz ist(13:40Uhr) , und die Karten wurden uns die Hand gedrückt. Nach 20 Minuten warten, hat mein Sohn höflich gefragt, ob wir wenigstens was zu trinken bestellen könnten und auch gleich was zu essen. Die Antwort war : Die Küche schließt um 14 Uhr , (das war es 13:59) es gibt nichts mehr, wir sollen hätten vor 14 Uhr kommen müssen ?! . Ich habe wirklich vollstes Verständnis , viel los , Sonne , alle wollen raus . Wir hätten sehr gerne gewartet , bzw. Hätten wir uns nicht gesetzt, wenn die Dame uns informiert hätte , dass sie im 14 Uhr schließen . Die Schönwetterlaune meiner beiden Kids war somit dahin .

Very tasty pizza but the knives are unreasonable. As a precaution, the pizza is already cut into pieces. You are really forced to eat by hand... There was a salad with it but it was stale and we only tried it. Then it’s better not to have one…

Was there with my mom and my brother. Food was really great, the man who served us was super nice. So everything fits.

The food is very tasty but the waitress takes more than an hour to take my order. Thank God I was able to eat after 2 hours. Simply bottomless

Unfortunately my experience was disappointing. Service took an unusually long time and staff seemed to have difficulty processing orders correctly. Some of our dishes were even forgotten.

Food was pretty good. Service was really bad. Took forever to take our first order. Then it took forever to get the food at to pay. Never asked if we wanted more drinks, or desert. When we finnaly got to pay he said they did not accept cards, even though they flash with visa and mastercard logos on their door. If you don't want to sit and wait the whole evening. Stay away.

Unfortunately it is almost impossible to reach anyone! I've tried to reserve a table several times but without success.

A great restaurant in itself, unfortunately the service leaves more and more to be desired. You can get a table quickly, but you have to wait 30 minutes until you are served. The appetizers come before you even get your drinks. There was another long waiting time between courses and even after ordering the bill. Card payment is also not possible - which should at least be communicated to the customer somewhere beforehand (e.g. sign on the door). Food really tasted great - service & waiting times were more than bad.

I live the seating the presentation and the options in such a nice ambient. My seating was in a candle lite room which resembled a tunnel like area. Which was beautiful and the Spaghetti 🍝 was covered in tin foil dressed as a bird 🦢 shape. Almost like a swan which was awesome to open and eat. Everything was perfect. 😊☕️

Wir waren heute das erste und vermutlich auch das letzte Mal nach langer Zeit wieder im LaVita essen. Ich finde es einfach unglaublich störend, dass die Bewegungsfreiheit durch die enge Platzierung der Tische ziemlich eingeschränkt ist. Das Essen war insgesamt durchschnittlich. Die bestellten Nudeln wurden nicht überbacken geliefert. Es fehlte auch die versprochene Chilisoße. Insgesamt bekommt man ein Getränk und es wird zwischendurch nicht nochmal nachgefragt. Zum krönenden Abschluss wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass die Kartenzahlung HEUTE nicht funktioniert. Also einmal quer durch die Fußgängerzone und auch noch Gebühren zahlen. Was mich nach dem Durchlesen der anderen Bewertungen allerdings am meisten ärgert, ist, dass die Kartenzahlung nicht nur HEUTE sondern seit MONATEN nicht funktioniert.

Super pizza um mal schick essen zu gehen, aber auch zum mitnehmen, für 9,50 eine pizza mit sogar einen kleinen salat dazu, bedienung freundlich, einfach top

Incredible friendly!! We went there with a dog and they gave her free food and water. The food came fast and the waiters were all really nice. The price is good, not cheap but not expensive either. Would definitely go there again.

Letztes Jahr hätte ich das La Vita noch deutlich besser bewertet. Das Ambiente ist weiterhin (natürlich) recht angenehm. Aber der Service erschien mir deutlich überfordert, kannte sich u.a. mit den Weinsorten überhaupt nicht aus, war aber dabei freundlich. Die Pizza fand ich lediglich durchschnittlich. Den Salat ebenfalls. Tatsächlich haben wir uns für das nächste Mal ein anderes Restaurant vorgenommen. Wir waren unterm Strich enttäuscht.

Tolles Essen, toller Service, stilvolles Ambiente. Lediglich die Toiletten sollte man besser im Blick haben, es fehlt häufig das Toilettenpapier.

So was kann man gar nicht essen unglaublich der Deutsche isst wirklich alles - einmal und nicht wieder… Da sollte man einfach lernen selbst zu kochen.

Good atmosphere, service ok ... but the pizza was really burned, 40% of the bottom was black. I shouldn't have eaten it (carcinogenic), but was too polite.

Mein Besuch war angenehm. Das Ambiente war ganz in Ordnung, das Essen war sehr gut und das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisekarte bot eine interessante Auswahl an Gerichten. Insgesamt eine gute Erfahrung, aber mir fehlte das gewisse Extra, das das Restaurant von anderen abheben würde.

Netter und Aufmerksamer Service. Lecker Essen.

Essen war super lecker! Wenn man es denn dann bekommen hat / bzw. Erstmal bestellen konnte. Wir sind angekommen und wurden auch direkt einem Tisch zugewiesen. Kurz nach uns kamen ebenfalls 3 Gäste die direkt neben uns Platz nahmen. Wir haben unsere Getränke rausgesucht. Auch das essen.... bis wir erstmal-auf Nachfrage- unsere Getränke bestellen konnten hatte der Nachbartisch schon alle Getränke erhalten. Wir haben dann bestimmt noch 30 minuten gewartet bis wir auf mehrfache Nachfrage dann endlich essen bestellen konnten! Inzwischen war der Nachbartisch schon fast fertig mit essen. Das war schon nicht so toll. Am Ende mussten wir dann feststellen, dass man nicht mit Karte zahlen konnte, also erst noch zur nächsten Bank vorm Zahlen. Wenigstens wurde uns was zum Trinken ausgegeben. Obwohl das Essen 1a war und auch vor allem im Restaurant das Ambiente richtig toll ist, werden wir wohl nicht mehr hier hin gehen. Schade!

Personal war nett, mussten auch nicht lange warten. Essen war in Ordnung. Mussten leider draußen sitzen, obwohl das Wetter nicht gut war. 2 Sterne, weil das Besteck dreckig war und die Gläser (sehr eklig) und mein Getränk war nicht bis zur Linie eingeschenkt, hab also weniger bekommen. Hatte bessere Erinnerungen daran.

An einem lauen Sommerabend ist es schön draußen zu sitzen, ambiente auf dem Marktplatz. Innen nicht viel gesehen, die Toiletten waren sehr sauber und schick. Personal war top, bis auf das man nicht mit Karte oder Kreditkarte zahlen kann. Schock für alle Gäste die nur ihre Karten dabei hatten. Das Essen war lecker und schön angerichtet.

Excellent and imaginative pizzas, but the best food are the Italian classics and pastas. Great wine list, grappas, and very attentive service.

The entire team is going out of their way to make your stay memorable. The noodles are to die for, same goes for the pizza and meat selection. Very small, very intimate, so good that you wanna come back as soon as possible. Also a great selection of wines.

Wir waren am 13.11.22 als Familie essen. Bekamen einen Tisch mit komplett verschmutzen Tischdecken (Essensreste von den Gästen zuvor und auch Haare!) und teilweise schmutzigen Besteck. Nachdem wir was gesagt haben wurden die Tischdecken nur teilweise gewechselt und teilweise schmutzig gelassen. Sogar der Tisch unter der Tischdecke war verschmutzt und wurde nur die Tischdecke darüber geschmissen. Sogar die Gläser auf den Tischen waren nicht sauber und hatten überall Fingerabdrücke. An den Lampen und überall Spinnenweben usw. Zwecks Sauberkeit kann ich bzw wir das La Vita absolut nicht empfehlen. Wir hatten reserviert und bekommen so einen Tisch. Eine Frechheit

Habe heute das schlechteste Saltimbocca meines Lebens in diesem Laden serviert bekommen. Fleisch 6cm dick, nicht durch und der Schinken einfach obendrauf gelegt. Auf meine Reklamation, dass es auch nicht sonderlich geschmeckt hat, wurde nicht reagiert.

Ein rundum tolles Lokal mit einem herrlichen Ambiente. Draussen zu sitzen u dem Treiben der Fussgängerzone mit einem sehr guten Wein u noch besserer Tagliatelle die Aussicht zu geniessen...hat was 😊😎 die tagliatelle al porcini waren hervorragend. Die Bedienung ist schnell u kompetent; gerne wieder!

Wegen Corona-Beschränkungen gab es nur Plätze im Außenbereich in einem offenen Zelt. Essen war hervorragend: Nudeln mit zweierlei Muscheln in toller Weinsauce! Der Service sehr flott und total freundlich.

In der Fussgängerzone von Weiden. Ganz coronaconform im Aussenbereich mit Abstand, Maske etc., trotzdem gemütlich mit wärmenden Heizpilzen u einer hoch motivierten Crew. Das Essen wie immer sehr sehr lecker. Foto hochgeladen; sehr gerne wieder...

besuche ich mit Freunden das Lokal mitten in der Fussgängerzone. Das Ambiente stimmt; man sitzt draussen an einem hübsch gedeckten Tisch u wird sehr freundlich u aufmerksam bedient. Die Speisekarte kann man sich jetzt zu Coronazeiten am Tisch scannen o auch gerne die Bedienung um eine Karte fragen. Wir waren sehr glücklich mit frischen Muscheln u einem hervorragenden Wein. Sehr gerne wieder...

Aus Besuchen im letzten Jahr kann ich zusammenfassen: Das Essen ist in Ordnung. Aber nichts Atemberaubendes. Besonders im hinteren Teil im EG sitzt man sehr dicht gedrängt. Zum Gefühl der Massenabfertigung trägt auch noch bei, dass die Bedienungen sehr überhastet und kurz angebunden sind und nicht nach weiteren Getränkewünschen fragen. Diesen August jetzt wollten wir dem Ganzen mal wieder eine Chance geben, aber konnten wir nicht: Anscheinend "Sommerferien". Das hätte man auch auf einen Anrufbeantworter sprechen können. Dann wüsste man was Sache ist und findet nicht nur im Vorbeigehen raus, dass der Laden dunkel und abgeschlossen.ist.

Es reconfortante encontrar lugares como el restaurante La Vita, donde se reivindica el patrimonio gastronómico de Italia con propuestas que consiguen satisfacer a todos los gustos y sabores. Desde suculentos platos de pasta pasando por una imprescindible variedad de pizzas y entrantes, La Vita se convierte en el lugar ideal para empaparte de Italia sin necesidad de cruzar frontera alguna.

This quite large restaurant is in center town, in a very interesting old (but nicely renovated) historic building. The different parts of the restaurant communicate with a few stairs up and down and sometimes you collide with the personnel because the gangways are narrow... The personnel is very friendly and open for special wishes. Since there was nothing for vegans (I mean with proteins, not just salad), I had a special wish: spaghetti con funghi porcini (ceps), which is a normal Italian dish, no need for big improvisation. Unluckily the kitchen was not as good as the waitress: on a ca. 200g plate of spaghetti I had to look for the mushrooms with a magnifying glass (I’m exaggerating in Mediterranean style...) but instead there was plenty of oil. My friends were satisfied, so my “disappointment” was relative to me.

I ordered a take out carbonara pasta all I literally got was noodles and eggs there were zero sauce in the pasta ...So dry and disgusting
