La Villa Restaurant Mediterran in Glauchau

La Villa is an excellent restaurant with an upscale atmosphere. The selection of dishes is very extensive! Despite this, the quality and presentation of the dishes are always consistently excellent! My patients from all over Germany and abroad are always enthusiastic and surprised by the restaurant's selection and quality. Therefore, I can only give it a five-star rating.

Very tasty Mediterranean/Greek food, cool location, pleasant staff.

It was my first experience with this restaurant. Bearing in mind that there was a wedding on Saturday evening, we made a reservation for four people, including the time. We entered the restaurant from the garden side. A beautiful park with large trees and lovely paths led us to the villa. (It was a shame that the small pond resembled a pool due to its water level.) We continued across the terrace area to the restaurant. Noting the densely packed seating on the terrace, we opted for a table inside. Our path led us past the bar, where a plethora of used glasses were waiting to be cleared. We were assigned a nice table. The service started promisingly. The menu arrived promptly, as did the drinks service. The food order was also prompt. It should be noted: The food is very appealing, the selection is quite opulent, and the price/performance ratio is excellent. The waiters 1 and 2 at our table were also excellent. - A 90-minute wait between ordering and receiving food, - A waiter with 10 dirty fingernails (which were as black as if he'd just changed an engine) However, this isn't a gesture of appreciation for any guest. From that evening onward, at least four waiters were on duty, but their service felt restructured. There's room for improvement. I think I'll still visit them again, just for their food. We spontaneously stopped by for dinner last night. We're from the Black Forest and happened upon this restaurant while passing through. The food was incredibly delicious, the service was very friendly and attentive, and the ambiance couldn't be more beautiful! A truly lovely evening! Keep up the great work!

Highly recommended and delicious, with a lovely atmosphere. The only downside: it's much too far from home (we were just passing through). But I'll definitely keep it in my mind for when I'm back in the area; the detour from the highway is definitely worth it.

The wait was a little longer, but completely understandable. My only minor criticism: the music was a bit too loud for relaxed conversation. Otherwise, a very enjoyable evening.

Restaurant in a very beautiful villa. We all enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, the two cocktails we ordered consisted primarily of ice cubes. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo of that. Otherwise, everything was fine. Another general thought – not specifically related to this restaurant: Charging €1 for a takeaway container of leftover food is a bad practice that seems to be spreading. I strongly doubt that this packaging unit costs that much to purchase. And making extra money for food that has already been paid for and is now at an increasingly high price level is something I find rather odd. By the way – if a guest expresses possibly inappropriate criticism, it is not productive to respond at the same or lower level. Unfortunately, this is becoming more and more common. Update: Thank you for the constructive response. I will reconsider the criticism of the packaging fee.

We spent a pleasant evening with friends in the garden area. The food was plentiful and very delicious. We chose Albanian, Greek and Italian dishes, all of which were excellent. The wines are also special. The service is fast and friendly. Excellent value for money. I can recommend it to everyone. It is worth booking a table in advance.

We were just trying to eat. The entire restaurant was empty. The waiter offered us a table for two, but as I mentioned, there were no customers, so we chose another table in a nicer spot. We were reminded that it was for six and asked to move. We declined. The decor was nice, but it's worth mentioning that it didn't even smell like food. The owner's response? Well... it borders on the theatrical monologue of an offended backyard pizza king. Thank you for your response, although its tone and content genuinely surprised me. Instead of responding factually to my review, in which I merely described the visit—without insulting anyone—I received public accusations and threats of police and court action. This is not only unprofessional, but also disproportionate to the situation. Yes, we were seated at a table for six—in an empty room. We were reprimanded and asked to move, which we considered unfriendly and decided to leave. This isn't an "attack" – it's a subjective customer opinion, to which everyone is entitled. Instead of outrage, a little empathy and a simple, "We're sorry, rules are rules – but we're glad you visited us" would have been enough. That would have earned me respect for the establishment, and perhaps even encouraged me to return in the future. Instead – I received a response that says more about the service culture than my review. Regardless, I wish you good luck and fewer stressful reactions in the future.

It was as if someone had added a touch of the Mediterranean to a park of Saxon greenery – thus began my culinary foray into the enchanting garden of a magnificent old villa. The ambiance: a gentle evening breeze, quiet conversations, and the gentle rippling of a fountain – pure serenity. I opted for one of the gigantic pizzas – seriously, bigger than many an inflated beach ball! The crust was crispy, but not crunchy, and the toppings exuded that classic Mediterranean aroma of tomato, basil, and mild cheese. I enjoyed it with a perfectly tapped, light beer – an excellent accompaniment to the sun slowly disappearing behind the trees. The pace of the kitchen is impressive. Although I wanted to relax, my food was in front of me as if someone had pressed "express mode." But who wants to wait forever when your stomach is growling? A glance at the menu reveals the variety: from bruschetta and carpaccio to souvlaki and lamb variations. I could practically taste the Greek charm – garlicky flavors, fresh herbs, and hearty Mediterranean sauces. A real highlight! The service was friendly, relaxed, and managed to operate with confidence even with a full house – I didn't experience overly pushy waiters, but would describe it as well-measured attention.

A rather inconspicuous building from the outside, but beautifully decorated inside. I have never seen anything so beautiful. Plenty of space at the tables, very bright. Really nice, friendly, attentive staff. The food is extremely good, the best I have had in a Greek restaurant. Super tasty. A very large restaurant, which you wouldn't expect from the outside. Highly recommended. Large parking lot behind the house. The driveway to the villa is rather narrow and inconspicuous, and you drive past it quickly.

If you are in Glauchau, it is almost a MUST to go to La Villa for dinner

The villa and the grounds are very beautiful even from the outside. The waiters' friendliness is particularly pleasant. The decor is a mix of Italian and Greek flair. We ordered grilled pepperoni, which was really very good, and I had gyros and calamari. The calamari was very salty, but the "meat" was very tasty. The gyros was juicy and deliciously seasoned. A definite recommendation, if you can cut down on the salt a bit. All in all, a successful visit. Definitely recommended. You can pay by card.

We've been here several times. Super friendly service, delicious food, and the ambiance to match. If you want a table for Friday or Saturday evening, be sure to make a reservation! Overall, the building and grounds could be much more utilized (perhaps they will). A start would be to get rid of the artificial plants ;-)

Beautiful villa, beautifully decorated. Unfortunately very inappropriate music and lighting. The card is colorfully diced, the only thing missing is the kebab plate. Staff is fine, service is slow. Had carbonara (curled, tasteless) and ravioli al forno with lamb (tasted like sauce, but ravioli were quite ok). The pizzas looked good, you have to weigh it up. Maybe you should make the menu smaller and concentrate on good dishes. Adjustment: Coincidentally, we just found the invoice again. They charged €1 for packing up the leftovers - I think that was an absolute disgrace, especially since they weren't informed about it.

There is Italian, Greek and Albanian cuisine. Something for every taste. We spent a wonderful evening with you. It's a shame that we live too far away, otherwise we would be here more often. We would like to thank you for the service and food for our big family celebration. It was successful evening. Despite the full house and garden, the employees were careful, friendly and hard-working, and the guests enjoyed the food. Gladly again.

We ordered at 7 p.m. and were allowed to order drinks after half an hour, but two were missing. After another 20 minutes then the food. In the meantime we were very rudely and arrogantly told that it might take longer in the restaurant. Not all the tables were occupied. Sometimes other guests simply left. After 1.5 hours the food was there and we only received a receipt. When I did the math, the bill was at least €10 more expensive than the prices on the menu. If you want an invoice you have to ask again. The house schnapps was offered to us twice and nothing ever came. What wasn't so nice was that it was very loud and later it got so dark that you could hardly see your food, even though there were enough free tables with better lighting. Conclusion: Food is recommended. Totally okay for the price. Most waitresses should look for a new job there. We've experienced this once as a family and that's enough for us.

After initial technical difficulties with the reservation via the official website, we were able to spend a romantic evening for two in this stylish restaurant at short notice. Great ambience. Very nice house. Very tasty food. The staff is friendly and knows exactly the boundary between the right distance from the guest and the friendly attention needed to feel cared for. Children are also welcome and are not treated as a nuisance by the staff or guests. We felt comfortable and will definitely come again.

A stunningly great atmosphere, both in the beer garden and in the old villa (with the huge aquarium!), where much of the stately furnishings have apparently been preserved. The food is delicious, the service is very friendly. It's nice that the operators also have some specialties from their home country of Albania on the menu - where can you get that! Of course the pizzas and Greek dishes are also tasty, but Albanian food is really something special.

Impressive ambience, you rarely find such a well-preserved interior, plus very attentive service. Very large and varied selection of food. The food was very good, tasty and the portion size was also right. The wait wasn't too long and the price was reasonable. We will come back in any case. Very good food and a very, very nice atmosphere. The service is very friendly and helpful. It's just fun to have a good time there. When the weather is nice, sit outside and enjoy the food, hospitality and ambience. There is also a playground for younger guests. Parking spaces are also available. It's worth spending a great evening at La Villa. But the restaurant is also very cozy. LG 😂

Eating took forever, we waited almost an hour for our starters, the same for the main courses.

You simply don't expect limited cuisine 2 1/2 hours before closing time on a Sunday. Of course the kitchen still has to be cleaned and I want to finish work on time, but that's really too much time. The waiting time was also borderline with less than half capacity. We'll give it another chance and if necessary, we'll be happy to adjust the rating. Maybe it was just a one-off. Even though we were only allowed to order pizza, it was extremely good. Staff friendly.

Very good quality food with a great variety. Very nice atmosphere both inside and outside. There was nothing wrong with the service on the first visit, but the second time the service staff seemed a little overwhelmed. After 60 minutes the food order was taken, and after 90 more minutes our food finally appeared at the table. A pity!

The villa was and is an eye-catcher. The chairs and tables in the interior take some getting used to - you sit high or the tables are too low - somehow strange. The food was good - lots of choice, Italian and Greek. We had to wait a long time before we could order - towards the end we would have liked to drink something more but no one else came - and when we did, the bill came straight away. Oh well.

La Villa in Glauchau is a cozy and very tasty restaurant. The owners offer everything from Albanian to Greek cuisine. The dishes are very tasty and varied. Everything from appetizers to dessert is included. The staff is super friendly, very attentive and very quick. A visit for two or a large group is perfect for a culinary evening. On certain days a pre-order is necessary. So I'd love to go there again. Thank you for the lovely evening.

A perfect experience, the food tastes authentic, abundant, and reasonably priced. The most intoxicating thing is that the entire building and the decoration inside are retro and elegant, plus the garden sculptures with an artistic atmosphere. This is an incredible, delightful restaurant.
