La Vera in Aßlar

Located directly on the main road, the restaurant doesn't exactly exude the charm of an Italian pizzeria you'd expect. However, a quick glance at the menu quickly makes up for this: the selection is very good and the value for money is good. The dishes are tasty, attractively presented, and the quality and quantity are impeccable. I can definitely recommend La Vera.

Everything was good for the on-site meal! The delivery arrangements could have been improved, in my opinion! We were supposed to pick up the food, but the food was delivered anyway! Everything tasted good!

The food was absolutely fine for the price range, including the portion size! I wasn't expecting high-quality cooking, so I wasn't surprised by the ready-made sauces for our meat. Still, there was nothing to complain about in terms of taste. The schnitzel was nice and lean from the roast lobster, deliciously breaded and fried. The salad was rather simple, but fresh and with a delicious dressing :-) The service did its job, but nothing more... hardly a trace of friendliness. No please, no thank you, no "did you like it?" or "was everything okay for you?"... the plates were cleared away without a single word :-( The ambiance is quite nice, with modern decor, and everything gives a clean impression :-) What's absolutely unacceptable... the menu says vio organic apple spritzer, which is what I ordered. However, I got apple spritzer from a different brand! That's a no-go! The guest expects what they ordered and not a substitute. This only works if the waiter points out that the brand listed on the menu is out of stock! To easily circumvent this problem, you could simply write "Apple Spritzer" on the menu, so the guest wouldn't expect a specific brand! But you can't simply replace Vio bio for €3.50 with a cheaper non-organic product and charge the same price for it! That shows a lack of basic gastronomic knowledge! I can't advertise "Veltins" and then serve "Krombacher" either; that would be just as much of a no-go!! Personally, I don't care at all what name is on the apple spritzer, but that certainly doesn't apply to every guest! The owners should think about it....this is just my well-intentioned advice! We'll be back anyway....because we enjoyed it 🤗😉

A real insider tip! I was completely impressed by La Vera! The value for money is absolutely top-notch – you really get a lot of quality for your money here. The food was not just tasty, it was simply delicious – fresh, lovingly prepared, and perfectly flavored. The service is super friendly and attentive, and you immediately feel welcome. The ambiance is also very appealing – cozy, stylish, and designed with great attention to detail. I will definitely be back and can highly recommend La Vera to everyone!

The best pizza you can get in Aßlar! Super delicious crust and great toppings. We order regularly and are always satisfied. Delivery is always on time and reliable, and the food is always piping hot when it arrives! The only minor complaint I would have is that you don't get a bottle of Coca-Cola with a large order of family pizzas. I'm used to it. But that's already nitpicking at a high level.

We used the gourmet voucher. Was our first visit. Had a pizza and a pizza calzone as well as the delicious bruschetta. Pizza dough was very crispy, but too thick in relation to the topping. The topping could have been a little more pep, as the dough was very dominant. Price/performance was completely okay. Delicious Lambrusco and a Pinot Grigio rounded off the meal. A little more attention when it came to empty glasses would have boosted sales...😎

I ordered a salad with strips of beef fillet, which was absolutely disappointing. The iceberg lettuce was mostly swimming in a sauce with too much mayonnaise. The beef was extremely bad. Our friends had pizza, which was arguably better.

An extremely comfortable atmosphere with a very friendly and warm welcome. On my first visit, I ordered a pizza, the taste of which satisfied me deeply, so I made further visits to La Vera and also tried other items on the menu. I particularly like the food here, and the warm atmosphere makes it easy to stay there longer.

No matter what I ate there, it was always OK, the pizza, the pasta, the schnitzel was good. I generally find the salads a bit difficult to rate everywhere because there are 2-3 leaf salads that unfortunately I don't eat and always stay on my plate. and go back to the kitchen. But as I said, not a la Vera problem, but almost everywhere. But the prices are pleasant and the portions are large. I think the drinks are good. That's all fine. Unfortunately, since it is a smaller location, I would always reserve a table. It was difficult for the walker because of the 2 steps. But since a small railing has now been installed, it simplifies things for people with walking difficulties. Big thanks for that. The only criticism is that, for reasons of space, there is unfortunately nothing left other than a toilet for women and a toilet for men and a common laundry area, so you always have to make sure that the toilets are free. And the light goes off automatically, that's stupid, you're in the dark. Unfortunately there is a lady in service on Sundays and evenings who is unfortunately not the friendliest. This means she brings food and drinks to the tables. Without a friendly request. She also clears the used dishes from the tables. Even wordlessly without asking if everything is ok. But you can learn that. But otherwise. Only praise!

We had pizza here for the first time and what can I say... super tasty. The pizzas were super fluffy and crossy at the same time, very good. The restaurant is cozy and yet modernly furnished. The service was very friendly and polite and we felt very comfortable. 5 stars, a recommendation and we will definitely come back.

This was our first time ordering pizza and pasta for pickup here. The pizza was very good... no comparison to the pizzas from other local delivery services. Here, too, the cheese is put on the pizza at the end (why would you do that?) and it's not a 5-star kitchen, but the price is totally okay. Nice staff, neat and clean location, good food. We have ordered from La Vera several times and unfortunately we were a little disappointed this time! Large pizza is advertised as 30 cm and ended up being “only” 27 cm! A small salad for €8 is a big deal, wow! But the taste was still very tasty, as always!

I often had lunch at La Vita. I was late one day at lunchtime and was told to go to La Vera. My wife and I were very impressed by the ambience and when the weather is warm the outdoor dining will be great. As always, the food was great and we were well looked after. Next time I'm in the corner I'd love to come back.

Extremely delicious! We were there today with two people. We had spaghetti funghi and a pizza. The tomato sauce on the spaghetti was really great and the mushrooms were deliciously fried. The portion was very generous, so we were even able to take some home with us. The prices were absolutely fine. The pizza was also very good. Nice and juicy, vegetables crunchy and crispy edges. We were there for the first time and will come again. The furnishings are very nice and modern.

Haben das erste mal bei euch bestellt. Und ja, es ist laut Empfehlung wirklich die beste Pizza im ganzen Umkreis. Sehr frisch, super lecker. Über Lieferando lässt es sich allerdings bequemer bestellen & bezahlen.

Das Essen war gut und reichlich und wurde ohne allzulange Wartezeit serviert. Etwas verwundert war ich darüber, dass die Milch zum Kaffee in einer handelsüblichen 1-Liter-Packung auf den Tisch gestellt wurde (das kenne ich nur von zuhause); es hat mich aber nicht weiter gestört.

Hatte heute eine kleine Pizza Toskana, anstatt mit Salami mit Pepperoniwurst Und zusätzlich noch bisschen Thunfisch, die Pepperoniwurst wurde extra gerechnet obwohl die Salami dafür weg gelassen wurde, und für bisschen Thunfisch nochmal 2 Euro. Hab dann für eine kleine Pizza ganze 11.50 € bezahlt,war dann wohl auch das letzte mal das ich dahin gehe !!!

Wir haben eine Familien Pizza bestellt und sowas trockenes habe ich noch nie gegessen. Kaum belaag drauf,Kein Geschmack und sehr überteuert. Nie wieder bestellen wir da.

Einladend, sauber, gutes Essen. Frisch zubereitet und gute Portionen. Preislich gab es nichts auszusetzen. Waren nicht zum letzten mal dort.

Eine reinste Katastrophe. Wir haben Essen zum abholen bestellt. Uns wurde am Telefon gesagt, dass das Essen in 35 min zum abholen bereit sei. Nach einer Stunde Wartezeit und mehrfachen Nachfragen wurde meinem Mann einfach ohne weitere Erläuterung mitgeteilt, dass das Essen nicht mehr gemacht werden kann. Sowas habe ich in meinem ganzen Leben noch nicht erlebt.

Das Essen, wir hatten einen Salat, eine Pizza und Spaghetti, war sehr gut. Allerdings wurden die Mini Baguette, die zu den Spaghetti gehören, mit 3.50 € zusätzlich berechnet. Leider erst zuhause bemerkt. Auch die Getränkepreise sind für Aßlar absolut überhöht. Zum Glück gibt es alternativen.

Sie sind erwachsen geworden, vom reinen Lieferanten, der vorher schon sehr gute Pizzen gebacken hat, aber frisch vor Ort ist einfach nochmal eine andere Liga! Macht weiter so!

Cheeseburger war gar nix ! Eine Pampe aus ungetoastem Brötchen Burger Patty und komischer Soße! Es wurden 2 Gerichte mit Pommes bestellt ! Bei der Bestellung wurde besprochen , dass eine Portion Pommes ausreichend ist. Bekam natürlich auch nur eine Portion Pommes, beim Bezahlen wurden beide Portionen berechnet ! Hätte man besser lösen können ! Naja dafür dann auch nur 1 Stern und in Zukunft mache ich eher ein Umweg !

War vorhin mit einem Freund vor Ort. Von innen wirklich sehr schön und die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Das essen war lecker und recht schnell da, jedoch sind sie viel zu günstig! Habe schon mehrfach Salate bestellt, die sehr lecker geschmeckt haben. Vor allem hat mir das Dressing gefallen und auch das Pizzabrot dazu:)) Preislich eher günstig. Super, dass es das jetzt in Asslar gibt!!

Optisch ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Die Zutaten sind denke ich qualitativ nicht auf dem höchsten Niveau was dem Geschmack unserer Pizzen leider stark gemindert hat. Im Umkreis sind meiner Meinung nach die Pizzen besser. Die Tortellini dagegen waren sehr gut. Preis/Leistung ist auch okay.

Wir waren mit 5 Personen essen und vorher einen Tisch reserviert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Kellner ist auch auf einzelne Wünsche eingegangen. Pizzen haben lecker geschmeckt. Alles sauber und sehe schön eingerichtet. Da es sich um ein Restaurant handelt und kein Imbiss, sind die Preise definitiv zu niedrig. Macht weiter so und viel Erfolg!
